House Connington is said to have lands so breathtaking, none can compare in throughout Stormlands, and have even made those who exalt the beauty of The Reach most firmly concede its charm is near peerless. The eldest child of Prince Daemon and the late Lady Laena Velaryon, Baela is 19 years old, the older twin of Lady Rhaena. She is a dragon rider, bonded to Moondancer, who hatched in her cradle, and the pair first took flight together at the age of 12. She is notoriously, almost inseparably close with her twin, Lady Rhaena, somewhat surprisingly so, even for sisters, given their highly distinct personalities.
