There have been a lot of negative posts about how this season turned out bc of the rat grinders exclusively and everyone is entitled to their opinions on the season. But in light of it, I’m gonna throw out some positives about this season 💖
Sophomore year will always hold a special place in my heart because of the Fabian arc but Junior year might be my favorite fantasy high season overall. I loved learning about Ankarna and Cassandra. I thought I’d be bummed out not seeing some of my fave npcs but the downtime mechanic and the stress tokens added sO much. The Porter & Jace reveal was incredible. KRISTEN’S CAMPAIGN ARC!!! Fabian and Mazey!? K2 and all the blimey shenanigans 👏 Everything with Wanda Childa and Ruben and fig’s complicated women podcast was sooooo funny. I genuinely laughed harder this season than I have with any other d20 season I’ve seen.
I feel like with this season they really hit their stride with pacing too. It felt a lot more fluid with how we rolled into combat most of the time. I loved that first party of the year and seeing Adaine become the party wizard. After ep 18 it makes me love the party with the Oisin missing his shots so much more bc he got in that nasty little one liner later. I adored that the rat grinders were essentially a red herring to keep the bad kids looking elsewhere to take the heat off Porter and Jace a bit.
We didn’t see much from all of them, and we didn’t see nearly enough about Lucy, but I really loved the Rat grinders as in school rivals for the bad kids. Ruben was hands down my favorite but goddamn did I also love how much of a girlfailure Kip was. I loved seeing her rage out and I hope we get to see her really go nuts in the finale too. I really really warmed up to Mary Ann last episode with her tugging on Jace’s shirt and saying she didn’t feel good and then seeing her rage when her strawberry got destroyed. She’s so fascinating to meeee. I loved everything with Buddy and Kristen. I wish they had more scenes together. And while I’m talking about the Dawns, that entrance from Bobby Dawn as the new cleric teacher made my skin crawl in the best way. I loved Kristen calling him frumpy and sad on her teacher evaluation too- and holy shit Fig meeting Ankarna for the first time? Ankarna being the inspiration Fig needed to make music again too?
The incredible art from Cait May this season was hands down one of my FAVORITE d20 artist collabs ever. Just overall improved designs for everyone that just make so much more sense for their characters and art for new characters that made me adore them even more. Also holy shit the Porter maxi is genuinely my favorite mini that’s ever been featured on the show. I’m typically not into how the minis look in general, they always look a lil goofy to me but goddamn when they hit, they fuckin HIT.
And speaking of Porter, I really got endeared to him this season. Yeah he turned out evil and always has been a dick to gorgug and is definitely a shit teacher, but before the reveal I loved his training with Fig and Zara. One thing about Fantasy high is that I just love a lot of the teachers. My two faves this season being Terpsichore and Henry! They’re both so dedicated to their students and are such a specific type of teacher that you’ve definitely met before in real life. Like all my favorite math teachers back in school were so much like Henry and that made me love him even more.
Of course my #1 favorite thing about the world of Spyre is the religion aspect and how Brennan and Ally both approach it. That scene with Ally connecting with Yolanda and Lucy to allow them some comfort in the afterlife was so beautiful. Kristen’s talks with Bucky throughout the season were very touching and hit very close to home as someone that grew up in a religious household and doesn’t connect with the divinity I was raised on. Just- wow wow wow. I also really love that despite the breakup, Tracker and Kristen still have really interesting convos about divinity even if they don’t agree.
I loved seeing different dynamics in the bad kids too, I love the huge sibling energy that Fabian and Adaine have and the bond that Kristen and Fig have. I love how interwoven all the bad kids feel as a group. I love the little quirks that they all have, and I loved all the fandom posts about them like the sharing clothes posts and the one about how everyone lets Riz crawl on them to get better vantage points. I love Riz’s wall of text breaking down to gorgug about how much he appreciates him. Him calling gorgug a sweetie almost made me cry. I of course love all the parent/child moments this season. I loved the bad kids finally healing Lydia and seeing how happy it made Ragh. I LOVE Aelwyn and all her cats 🤧 I loved seeing Baron again and I loved how the bad kids got to the funhouse version of mordred through riz’s briefcase. I love seeing Adaine and Sandralynn bond. I loved finding out that Sandralynn and Sklonda go out for drinks and are friends. I just 💖 and goddamn, Ayda’s message to Fig and how Zara helped to surprise Fig with it. I love how Bill and Pok are such proud dads of their boys and I hope they’re doing some bonding over drinks in the after life.
And I cannot end this post without saying that I loved how cinematic this season felt too. It had INCREDIBLE imagery that you could easily visualize. Everyone at the table was in their element this time around from a role playing and a strategic standpoint. Everyone had their moment to shine and something important to do this season that fed back into the main plot. So thank you to Brennan and the intrepid heroes for giving us another killer season. After the season ended I was planning to finish Starstruck and Neverafter but I might just rewatch Junior year all over again just to get it out of my system.
Feel free to add things you loved about Junior year!

Some observations
I was perusing the local Barnes and Noble (as one does when she needs to kill time) and discovered this magazine in the periodicals section:
I thought it was interesting that Meghan wasn't included on the cover. Say what you want about her, she still holds a pretty significant place in the royal family: the first person of color to marry a senior royal and give birth to children of color. One would also argue that she also counts as a noteworthy person for the BRF because she was the "first" divorcee bride to marry in (that is, the first divorcee marrying a single not-married-before royal).
The table of contents:
The first mention of Meghan is in their timeline, within context of Kate and Charlotte appearing together:
Meghan's second appearance comes in the "Modern History" section, which talks about royal marriages becoming "modern" when divorces were first permitted. First the article talks about Margaret's groundbreaking divorce, then how Anne pushed the royal bar on divorce further by remarrying, leading to the following section:
But reference of Meghan is essentially a throwaway. She's not even a whole sentence. But she does get two pictures in this section, so progress!
So after the "Modern History" section, we start getting mini-biographies of the royal ladies. There are "chapters" each for Kate, The late Queen, Camilla, their fashion, Anne, and Diana. Then we get to "The Other Royals"...a catch-all for royal women who aren't important, I guess, or noteworthy of their own standalone chapters.
In this chapter are the Yorkies - they don't even get their own sections, they're just all lumped in together, Sarah Chatto (Margaret's daughter), and finally, Meghan, who is also featured with Lili.
What I find really interesting about this publication is how and where they've placed Meghan. And I think it shows how shortsighted she was about joining the royal family. If her ultimate goal was global fame and fortune, then all she had to do was bide her time. After all, Sophie gets her own chapter - but of course, Sophie worked 31 years to get it (6 years dating + 25 years married) - and so does Zara, for her career accomplishments in sport, which Meghan could've had as well. But Meghan wanted everything and she wanted it now, no waiting, no toiling, no practicing, no working. And the result is that she's lumped in with the Yorkies and Sarah Chatto.
But the placement is also unfair to the Yorkies and to Sarah. Because remember, Meghan quit. Yes, technically Sarah Ferguson quit too (when she divorced Andrew), but her quitting came after 10 years and despite it, she still turns up to support the BRF when called. Same with Beatrice, Eugenie, and Sarah Chatto; they support the BRF and they work for the BRF when they're called to do so. To lump them in with Meghan, who doesn't work for the BRF when called, who doesn't show up when they ask for her, and who doesn't support the BRF, it doesn't bring Meghan "up to their level," or however you want to phrase it. It brings them down to Meghan's level. They don't deserve that.
But probably most importantly, this placement of Meghan proves that despite what her PR tries to convince us, more and more people are seeing her as the Fergie/Yorkie equivalent, not the Diana equivalent she wants us to see her as.
Personally, I think the sooner Meghan abandons her vision of Diana-like permanent A+ elite success and embraces the Fergie/Yorkie vibe (especially the "laugh at your own self" and "be gracious, be humble, be thankful" parts), the greater her chances are for stability and long-lasting staying power on the C-List.
(Also. I've never liked the sapphire tiara on The Queen but I love it on Camilla. Camilla's big fluffy hairstyle 100% suits the tiara and it looks like the tiara was made for her. The Queen wore her hair too...tightly (for lack of a better word) and that hairstyle with such a sculptural tiara made a strange look for me.)

Note
The seating arrangements are more about the exit than the entrance. PC/Cam, Cambridge’s, Anne/Sir Tim, Wessex’s, Peter, Zara, Gloucesters & Kent’s, Beatrice/Eugenie & then the Sussex’s. They may have enjoyed their little mini-royal entrance, but they’re not going to enjoy their non-royal exit.
They hated that exit!
I bet it sunk it real fast they weren't getting anywhere near William or Kate.

- Gatcombe Fashion Show -
pt.2 but it's Zara time!
(and kinda sentimental)
Let's get started!
A charming, weird dress in both colors and form, probably made of velor ... what an iconic item that every girl had in her childhood in the 80-90s and early 00s. I had one myself..
Rating : Sentimental / 10
Let's stay in sentimental. I know, it's pic from 90s but oh gosh, I couldn't resist! Long skirt + oversized sweater is such a 90s teenage set, and it reminds me a lot of my mom who wore the same set as Zara. On once of her class pic,my mom had a turquoise sweater and gold pleated skirt. Another Sentimentally / 10
Denim mini skirt + white knee-length.. say my name in my kindergarten 2005 era! It was so nice set, today is "COQUETTE" or "lOLiTa" style...............
.....bitch wake up, "Lolita" ISN'T ABOUT LOVE AND IT'S NOT A STYLE AAAAA
But Sentimental / 10
It's perfect. Perfecta, perfect, perfect! White bluse, jeans, green shirt. This jeans look perfect tbh.
Funfact: Anne (who is on background) and her outfit from this pic is also my fav Anne's looks!
plus for the chunky lil boi Apollo in the photo!
Okay but let's talk about this. This vest and jacket are matchy but in such a great way that I can't. The combination of red and pink gives me the vibe of the 50s and 60s (those American lol) and a very "Grease" vibe (reast in peace lovely Sandy ..)
I think this vest and jacket they would fit perfectly in today's fashion and those short down jackets from chain stores in pastel / strong colors (bcs color depends on the season and trends). I also associate them with jackets from @ soniaandthegypsies (THESE JACKETS ARE A DREAM)
First pic, white jumper with vest it's super cutie! She's lil strawberry shake with cherry on top!!
Zara is queen headband! It's also such child things. I also wore it through in primary school because I often had Zara's length hair (imagine this...)
Color match it's my fav, red, white and NAVY! Coral from shirt is pretty!
BONUS TO THIS LOOK:
hello daddy hehe..
IT'S 1987 OKAY, DO RESEARCH, TAKE A NOTES AND THINK MORE ABOUT IT HOW MEME IS THIS PIC AND TIM'S PRESENCE
CONCLUSION: ZARA IS COOL. COLLER THAN YOU. THAN ME, THAN WHOLE OF fANNE.
Part 3?

Stepping out in style, Zara Tindall just made a surprise appearance at the British Grand Prix alongside her husband, Mike Tindall. Enjoying a day out at The Green Room at Silverstone racecourse, Princess Anne's daughter donned an elegant floral dress, whilst former rugby pro Mike opted for a related plaid shirt and cream cargo shorts.
The Queen's stylish granddaughter enjoyed Sunday's sizzling weather, opting for a sophisticated mini dress, complete with button-down detailing, a high neckline and delicate ruffled sleeves.
Although the glamorous mother-of-three is a member of the royal family, the Olympian does not have to strictly follow royal fashion protocol of only wearing dresses that fall four inches above the knee or longer, particularly for off-duty occasions.
McLaren Racing is joining forces with The Duke of Edinburgh Award to support the project, which raises money to enable a million more young people from the hardest hit communities to take part in DofE.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and 'Do It 4 Youth' branding features on both Norris & Ricciardo's McLaren MCL35M Formula 1 cars during the 2021 British Grand Prix - and no doubt Sophie and Edward were excited to see it in person.

SIX BROADCAST FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS
Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to all you ladies, gentlemen, and variations thereof. Welcome back to ACCESS (360) Three-SIX-ty, your access to real time SIX news. Due to unfortunate scheduling delays, this edition of ACCESS (360) Three-SIX-ty was delayed for nearly 2 weeks. To compensate for this delay, ACCESS (360) will be covering everything that has occurred within the past 16 days. On the other hand, I am pleased to announce that ACCESS (360) Three-SIX-ty will be a regular feature on this blog. Expect new editions every two weeks, every month, or whenever the SIX Fandom ultimately decides to go batshit crazy (scheduling may vary). AND NOW FOR THE HEADLINES: + FOR FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE MORE MINUTE- Former SIX: The Musical alternate and swing queen Grace Mouat bids the SIX West End company farewell as she took her final bow on the SIX stage last Sunday, August 18th. Ever since her first appearance as Katherine Howard, one of her first covers aside from Catherine of Aragon, in West End Live 2018, she has donned all SIX crowns throughout her entire run, starting with last year’s U.K tour which ended last December 30th in Glasgow, up to SIX’s current run at the Art’s Theatre which officially began this January, sharing the tracks with the then-new alternates and swings Vicki Manser and Courtney Stapleton. She had announced her decision to leave SIX months prior to her last scheduled show in order to star in &Juliet, a new British musical based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet that will premiere on the West End at Shaftesbury Theatre on November 2; aside from being part of the ensemble, she will also be covering the titular character Juliet as her first cover. Grace’s departure was made even the more heartbreaking with her last Megasix as all the cast members (sans Natalie May Paris, who was on vacation at the time being) including alternates Vicki Manser and Courtney Stapleton all went on the stage to express their love and support for the young star, sharing speeches and tear-filled hugs. The writers Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the SIX West End queens and the queendom alike all flooded social media with appreciation posts all dedicated to the Swing Queen Grace Mouat, who, as of August 30, has been nominated as Best Understudy for the West-End Wilma Awards along with Maiya Quansah Breed, who was been nominated as Rising Star. + ALTERNATES AND UNDERSTUDIES FILL THE SWINGO CARD - The Queendom is to expect new covers and takes on the 6 wives of Henry VIII as more and more alternates don the crowns. The first one to complete the SWING BINGO ever since Grace Mouat’s departure is Vicki Manser, who has finally portrayed her third covers within the last two weeks; she made her debut as Jane Seymour on August 18th’s matinee performance, and as Catherine of Aragon last 30th of August. Courtney Stapleton surprised everyone with an Anne Boleyn debut last August 24th for both the matinee and the evening performance. To add to that, she has recently announced on her Twitter and Instagram accounts that Coleyn will indeed make a return on the evening performances on the 5th and 12th of September, along with the long-awaited Courtney Howard debut next week, which is scheduled on the 8th and 12th of September. Shekinah McFarlane, SIX’s newest alternate, has made her Cleves debut last August 15th and her Aragon debut last August 24th alongside Courtney Boleyn. Collette Guitart, on the other hand, has made speedy progress on her Swingo Card as SIX’s understudy. In merely a month, she has already portrayed 4 of the 6 queens: she had her debut as a SIX understudy, playing Jane Seymour last July 30th,her Boleyn debut coming shortly thereafter, portrayed Aragon for the first time on August 15th alongside Shekinah McFarlane’s debut, and had her latest debut as Catherine Parr with her own costume last August 30th alongside Vicki Aragon. However, there have been no announced dates so far for the debuts of SIX’s new alternate trio: Hana Stewart, Cherelle Jay and Zara Macintosh. On the SIXcago side of the world, Nicole Kyoung Mi Lambert has recently made her debut as Anna of Cleves last Monday, August 26th. There has been no news of recent debuts for Mallory Maedke however, having only covered Boleyn and Seymour so far. + SIXCAGO’S ARAGON APOLOGIZES FOR LIKING AND FOLLOWING HOMOPHOBIC POSTS AND ACCOUNTS - Adrianna Hicks, who plays Catherine of Aragon in the SIX U.S Tour, has received a tremendous amount of backlash for liking homophobic posts made by many church organizations on Instagram. Fans have also noticed that her account follows the Instagram accounts of said organizations, such as Bethel Church and the Changed Movement, both of which advocate heavily on conversion therapy ideals and generally the idea that ‘homosexuality can be erased’. According to those who have messaged her on Instagram, she has responded with the exact same message to all accounts and has blocked some when asked further about this topic. Ever since then, she has made a post on Instagram apologizing for her actions, stating that she thought the posts were promoting love and acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community. She ends the post wishing that she’d be forgiven while she continues to learn and grow as an ally for the LGBTQ+ community. She no longer follows the accounts and has removed the likes on their posts. In other news, she briefly left the SIXcago tour productions to star in the Sacramento Music Circus production of “The Wiz” as Dorothy from August 6th-11th, with Nicole Kyoung Mi Lambert playing Catherine of Aragon in her stead. She returned to SIX shortly thereafter. + ROYAL FLASH MOB, ATTENDED BY THE QUEENS AND THE QUEENDOM - Thousands of SIX fans, young and old, flocked together on the 31st of August, excitedly awaiting for official start of the Royal Flash Mob at exactly midday in front of the Tower of London ticket offices, wherein the attendees will perform the choreography of “SIX”. In preparation, the plan for flash mob was announced beforehand on the 24th of August by the queens, along with a tutorial to the choreography of “SIX” featuring SIX’s choreographer Carrie-Anne Ingrouille and SIX alternate Vicki Manser. On the day of the event while everyone was eagerly waiting and singing along to “SIX”, the queens were being paraded on their mini carriages (sans Alexia Mcintosh; Shekinah McFarlane stood in for Cleves) on their way to the venue whilst Courtney Stapleton, Vicki Manser, Collette Guitart, and new alternate Zara Macintosh, who has yet to make her SIX debut, also arrived to the scene. The queens led the flash mob along with some other professional dancers to guide the attendees throughout the whole song. + NO MEGASIXES AT BOSTON THEATER - Complete and utter shock came to the SIXcago fans as the iconic filming of the megasix has been prohibited by the American Repertory Theater. The theater’s ushers had announced either before the show or before the megasix itself that no phones should be out and all photography and filming in the theater is not allowed. One line in particular during the megasix was changed to fit this: from “Get your phones out, you’re gonna wanna hear this!” to “Tag/Text your friends, they’re gonna wanna see this!”. According to the ushers, this was due to some copyright issues within the theater and the Ladies In Waiting’s band union. However, the copyright issue is said to be fixed within the next weeks, therefore the tradition of recording the megasixes will most probably return sooner in September. AND NOW FOR ACCESS (360) THREE-SIX-TY’S NEW AND EXCLUSIVE SECTION: (harmonizes) (gay rights) (gay rights) (gay rights) (GAY RIGHTS) GAY RIGHTS + POWER COUPLE COURTNEY STAPLETON AND ELOISE DAVIES CELEBRATE THEIR BIRTHDAYS - SIX alternate Courtney Stapleton and Eloise Davies, Grease: The Musical U.K Tour’s spend a lovely week together celebrating their birthdays. The queendom swooned over the couples’s overall sweetness as the two spoil each other with guitars and vinyls, with Eloise celebrating her birthday first last August 20th and Courtney celebrating her 26th exactly a week later on the August 27th. The birthday week culminated with a birthday sportsfest and picnic attended by family and friends, including SIX’s Maiya Quansah Breed. Understudy Collette Guitart has also celebrated her birthday recently, turning 22 on the 30th of August, being the youngest queen among the West End Cast. + SUNDAY FAVOURITE’S ROSTER OF GUEST STARS LIST PILES UP - More and more recognizable theatre stars announce their upcoming appearance on Aimie Atkinson’s show called “Sunday Favourites” scheduled on the 15th of September at The Other Palace. Earlier in July Aimie had announced that her girlfriend (and SIX’s Studio Cast’s Cleves) Genesis Lynea and friend John Deepmore will be joining her along with Gabriela Garcia and Sarah Naudi, both of which were in the 2016 U.K production of “In The Heights” with Aimie. SIX’s Studio Cast’s Renee Lambert and Christine Modestou, who have played Aragon and Boleyn respectively, are also to join the show. Sam Pauly, SIXCago’s first Katherine Howard, and Annabel Dicaprio, student run’s K Howard, will also be making guest appearances on the 15th. Jodie Steele is the latest West End actress to be announced as part of the Star Roster. Ticket’s for Atkinson’s show are still on sale on The Other Palace’s website for those interested in viewing the two-hour show. AND THAT’S ALL THE HEADLINES WE HAVE GATHERED FOR TODAY. KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR MORE ISSUES AND BROADCASTS TO COME. ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS ACCESS (360) THREE-SIX-TY, YOUR ACCESS TO REAL TIME SIX NEWS. (credits to @qualquercoisa945, @insertmusicaltheatrepunhere and @aimielynea for helping me out with the info thanks mates!)

Who's your favorite royal. Includes all the royals not just british.
Maria Teresa of Luxembourg.
Check out her holiday style here:

She also looked super-stylish in the March visit to France.

I loved ALL of these coats (particularly the green one with the butterfly necklace), and, seriously, THIS is how you rock a tux.
http://royalcentral.co.uk/europe/luxembourg/grand-duke-henri-and-grand-duchess-maria-teresa-spend-their-second-day-in-paris-98611
Rocking it with Maxima:
http://royalcentral.co.uk/europe/netherlands/king-and-queen-of-the-netherlands-end-state-visit-to-luxembourg-103518
Lovely in lavender for Luxembourg’s National Day.
http://royalcentral.co.uk/europe/luxembourg/grand-ducal-family-celebrates-luxembourgs-national-day-104970
I just adore her. She’s elegant and discreet and loves her family. I think her only scandals have been that she once admitted that her mother in law hated her and that she has the same last name as Fulgencio Batista (no relation). She’s not as fashionable as Maxima, but she likes colors and statement necklaces, coats, and hats.
I also like Maxima, Letizia (when she’s not wearing leather mini-skirts and plastic stripper shoes), Sophie, Madeleine, Zara and Anne. I have a newfound appreciation for Will and Kate, although I will alwaysalwaysalways despise the Erdem dresses and I still feel they could work harder. I want to like Mary, but she just rubs me the wrong way. I think she’s a fine princess and I love her clothes, but I find her too publicity-hungry and arrogant. I respect Victoria and thinks he’s going to be a great Queen, but I never warmed up to her for some reason. I jump on and off the Sofia bandwagon. I generally think she’s doing a good job, but I think her past is and always will be an issue. She sometimes veers into Markle territory, which annoys me, but that Viking race was genuinely impressive. Kudos to her. I feel sad for Charlene. She does a good job and is incredibly stylish, but I always get the feeling she’s living in a very luxurious gothic horror novel. I don’t follow the ME royals much. I generally like the Jordanians, but they are in a very complicated position regionally speaking so I don’t really fangirl them. They are not a decorative royal family like the others.

I think Sophie might be Meghan's new target. Omid's not letting up with his "criticism," which usually means he has instructions from his master boss.
Meghan won't go after Camilla or Anne. She has no more ammunition against Kate and that feud is dead as a doornail, even for people who have the attention span of a gnat. The Yorkies just showed they won't play with Bea announcing her pregnancy on the anniversary. That leaves The Queen, Sophie, Zara, Louise, and Charlotte.
They won't go after The Queen because they got their hands smacked the last time they went after an elderly grieving widow and they want Jubilee tickets. They won't go after Zara because she's a mini-Anne who doesn't give a F. I doubt Meghan even knows that Louise exists. Kate, William, Middletons, and Maria have already circled wagons around Charlotte so she's protected. Which leaves Sophie. Who just poked the hornet with a gorgeous glossy photo spread, interview, and commentary at Sussex expense.
Sophie is TQ's favorite...they have a super close relationship.
I think Meghan is mad because Sophie and Edward had the audacity (in her mind) to laugh off the interview.
Meghan HATES to be laughed at because she thinks she is better than everyone else.

Zara Tindall 'a natural beauty' in £249 coat in rare outing with 'beautiful' daughter Mia
Zara Tindall ‘a natural beauty’ in £249 coat in rare outing with ‘beautiful’ daughter Mia
Zara Tindall, Princess Anne’s daughter, donned a mid-length maroon coat while eight-year-old Mia opted for a spotty black dress. The royal chose the ‘Edeline’ wool coat with faux fur collar in burgundy from HOBBS LONDON which retails for £249. Zara combined it with a matching Lalage Beaumont mini bag, still available online for £678, and FAIRFAX & FAVOR black leather boots. She finished the look…
