it has been a full week since madi and Matt have been together and since Jess's Mom visited Boston and jess has been extremely distant with Chris. Anytime her and madi come over to our house she always in Nick's room and its honestly kind of bugging chris because she's his best friend she can talk to him about anything... right

it's been a week and it is Sunday and Jess and Madi are at our house and Jess had routinely made her way to Nick's room but today was kind of different. Keep in mind Nick never talked to her about what they saw with her and chris a week ago because it is not his place but because today she seems a little off.

he states to the girl pacing back and forth in front of his bed

He started learning how to make music when he was in the military 2017/18. His other crew members are goya (rapper) and 3 people who make MVs, which is why he made tons of mvs early in his career. He used to produce all his own songs because having someone else produce was too expensive, but now he gets help from others. He first gained attention by gathering underground rappers and making cypher videos with them. (See his youtube.) In 2020, hwimin of groovyroom “discovered” him and ever since, he’s been getting close with h1ghr/aomg/yelows mob. When he was less known, he answered all his fans’ dms. You and Jensen have been married for three years. After him and Danneel had gotten divorced five years ago, you met him at a small get together at your childhood friend Genevieve Padalecki’s. He was sad, and broken  and in two years you had mended his heart, and found your place at his side. When you met you were raising your five year old daughter, and your ten year old nephew, he had his daughter JJ with split custody with his ex wife.

You had never imagined your life turning out like this, but you were glad that it did. You got along fairly well with Danneel, and would often meet up for the kids to play. When Jensen was off filming or at conventions, you stayed home with the kids and kept the schedule on track. Wake up at 7:30 for breakfast and getting ready for school, leaving at 8:00 to get them to school. While the kids were away you focused on laundry and cleaning up around the house, grocery shopping when needed. After school was usually the busiest part of your day, it consisted of dropping Tyler off at soccer practice and Katya off at dance practice.

When Jay was home he helped you as much as possible. He helped with homework while you made dinner, and helped with carpooling on game days. You thought after being with Jensen for so long you’d have learned everything there is to love about him, but surprise, everyday you found something new.

This was your life, and you loved it.

Dubai church prepares to celebrate golden jubilee

The largest Catholic parish in the region will mark the 50th anniversary of its founding in April and in the process stands testament to the spirit of religious tolerance that has made its members feel at home and eager to give back to the community with a host of activities lined up for the occasion.

The St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai will celebrate its Golden Jubilee on April 27 and 28 with a number of community activities that align with the Year of Giving initiative. Months-long preparations and weekly celebrations started in November as a build-up to the main event next month.

“Our celebration of the jubilee is also the celebration of the 50 years of religious tolerance here in the UAE. We have been blessed by the benevolence of the Rulers and we are grateful to them,” Fr Lennie J.A. Connully OFM Cap, parish priest of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai, told Gulf News.

“Our message is we are happy we are here. We are grateful to the Rulers and we are celebrating 50 years of religious tolerance as a gift from this country and therefore we want to give a gift to this country as well by giving back to the community.”

The church has come a long way from its humble beginnings in the 1960s, Fr Connully said. The Catholic community in Dubai did not have a church at the time and was being served by a priest from Bahrain. They held one mass a week at embassies or their homes for a group of 10 to 15 people.

As time passed by, a priest, Fr Barnabas Madii, was called to permanently reside in Dubai to serve the congregation. In 1965, Fr Eusebio Daveri arrived in Dubai and he approached Shaikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum with a request for a plot of land for a house of worship.

“Shaikh Rashid readily obliged. He said, ‘Take what you want’. He did not have second thoughts. He said, yes, this is what my heart tells, that I need everyone in my country, and he did that,” Fr Connully said.

Soon after, construction of the first church, with a capacity to accommodate 300 people, began in Oud Metha. The foundation stone for the church was laid by Shaikh Rashid himself in May 1966. The church was inaugurated on April 7, 1967.

As Dubai grew, so did the number of Catholics coming to Dubai for work. Fr Connully said a new church was constructed in 1989 to accommodate more people.

At present, around 80,000 people come to mass every week at St Mary’s. On special occasions, the number could rise to between 100,000 and 200,000 people, and Fr Connully reminded members of the parish to never forget their responsibility to the UAE society at large.

“When somebody welcomes you into their home, you must get integrated into it, don’t remain a stranger. This country has offered you a job, that’s why you are here: give your 100 per cent and more to the country and its development. Nation-building should be within the call of every Christian.”

This year’s celebration will be marked with more services to the community throughout the year. The church started with Mercithon last month, a walkathon to raise funds for the treatment of six cancer patients. All funds raised were donated to Emirates Red Crescent.

“The church always functions spiritually and corporally. Corporal works of mercy are very important to the church; it’s not only prayer. So we will be continuously doing that until the end of 2017. Even though the jubilee functions may be over, our activities geared towards giving will continue.”

Love Live is,,.. bleh, one off my friends found out something about it glorifying sexualization of middle schoolers (be sure to tag that as a TW) and the creator getting angry at most of its viewers for being LGBT (specifically Lesbians) to be killed

Well, I can’t say that I’m surprised about the “sexualization of middle schoolers” thing… it’s Japan after all (not to mention, R34 exists; so that stuff is inescapable regardless). That’s messed up that the creator of the series gets angry about it’s LGBT viewers… especially going so far as to wish them killed.

All in all… Love Live is the reason why Idol Culture is as glorified as it is out here in the west. Can’t say that I’m surprised people like it so much…

..It’s always about how it looks. In general, that tends to be what attracts most people to a series: How it looks. I, myself, couldn’t give a rat’s tooth about how “pretty” a series looks, because I don’t think that “animation/art style” is important, let alone what makes a series. There’s plenty of popular and successful series out there with just the most basic animation (i.e. South Park). All in all, at the end of the day… series that “look good” aren’t important whatsoever to me. That’s no different than “judging a book by it’s cover”. It’s nothing more than simple eye-candy.

But I digress… ^^;

Idol Culture in general is no different than Disney/Disney Channel’s treatment of their young/child actors/actresses. Hell, I’d say that Disney’s treatment is tame by comparison to the kid idols over in Asia. It’s gross and disgusting what those kids have to go through. I’d even say that the stuff Brittney Spears did/had to go through was nothing in comparison to what these Asian kids do/go through as idols.

I don’t (and will never) like or watch Love Live for all of those reasons:

1). I don’t think “animation/art style” is what makes a series

2). The plot of the anime itself (from what I read) is no different than the generic school-genre anime about starting a club for some mundane fundraiser for the town/school/etc. with the simple moral of the story that “Friendship is Magic”

3). Idol culture is disgusting and the true monster that it is shouldn’t be glorified and should be put to a stop.

So, all in all… Idol Culture is disgusting and I hate what it does to the children idols. And, I won’t–and will never–support  culture that does fucked up shit to children.
