There was a very freshly made hole in the hologram projector. It was smoking from the tennis ball’s impact.

The camera had just been stopped.

Haru’s jaw was agape.

It took her five seconds to muster something to say,

“I-I...I-I guess...?”

She took in a deep breath, and buried her face in her hands for a moment,

“What are we going to do...?”

Seems like an attempt to show off Spocco Square’s technology had gone a little haywire. The girl cited to herself,

“It’ll be fine...it wasn’t live streamed at least...! Just like you said Shella! Ahaha...”

"Aw man... why does it have to be raining? I had stuff I wanted to do outside too." Mizuki's cheeks puff out as she watches the rain drops splash against the windows, thumbs idle in the straps of her backpack. "Well. What're you gonna do?"

The pink haired sportsmate (human?) looks out to the same window. She gives the child a shrug,

“Well, I guess we wait it out. I mean, this does cancel the badminton event I was supposed to do today.”

She scrolled through her phone, then nods, “Yep, canceled.”

With back leaning against the wall, Haru sighs, “At least that gives me a break, I guess. Hard to do sports with everyone taking pics and asking non stop questions.”

“Pretty much!” Haru confirmed, “Plus you can play the sports to your heart’s content! I think you saw that there’s hologram AIs who actually play the sports with you too! But, you are welcome to let a friend or three play for free too!”

A closer examination of the pass would reveal it to be a deluxe type. It was sparkly. Admittedly the basic pass was pretty affordable, but this one would have more access to reservations, discounts, and as Haru stated, bringing more friends along. Everyone can at least play sports and use the in-area transport with the basic pass!

"So there was a streaking incident in Spocco Square...and then people started to show up in just bandages. Nothing but bandages.

"Don't ask me why people are like this."

>> Yaaaaay! << Keiko cheered, >> Come on you two, let’s go to the Tennis courts! <<

The Mii in braids eagerly hops off to the location, beckoning the two to come along. Haru looks worriedly at Sansa,

"I-I hope this works out okay, but it's totally fine if you don't click with the sports!"

And so the three started to head to the Tennis Facility. There were three courts for Sportsmates to use. Water flowed through the structures, some even acting as walls. It was bustling, and full of excited people.

>> Look at these waterfalls! Not as great as the Wuhu Island resort's, but still plenty as pretty! << Keiko announced.

But Haru looks uncomfortably between the two, “Now now, I think we shouldn’t be pushing people into sports if they don’t want to…! Spocco Square has more features to it than just sports! So, I appreciate that Mr. Sansa wants to see the sights without the sports!”

The Mii shrugs, >> I guess! But that’s just a sign that your square needs to catch up with all the sports that Wuhu Island has to offer! There’s still boxing, golf, baseball, biking, so many to list! <<

“Th-That’s not up to me to decide!” the sportsmate stammered, “I think Guest A is still working on getting those facilities built up…”

Between the two ladies, there was certainly awkwardness, at least from Haru’s end. Keiko would keep prattling on, even if other parties were uncomfortable.

“ Yes, I’m quite sure. “ Sansa answered. “ Sports are a headache and aching bones just waiting to happen. “

These two were certainly an interesting pair, to say the least. As the conversation between Haru and Keiko continued, Sansa began to question if it was a good idea to come to Spocco Square in general. Maybe it would’ve spared him this awkward interaction…

“ ALRIGHT, “ Sansa exclaimed. “ I’ll tell you what. Why don’t you show me your favorite facilities here so far… and I’ll decide whether or not if I’ll participate in it. Anything to get you to stop talking… “ He muttered that last part to himself. Hopefully this suggestion wasn’t a mistake as well…

A very excited Mii slides over to Sansa,

>> Heyyyyyy Sandsy! Are you going to join us for sports? <<

She starts pulling out various equipment, 

>> We can play tennis, boxing, baseball, or maybe that soccer thing with Haruhi over there! <<

The pink haired SportsMate froze from the pointing, then tried to relax, 

“Ah, yeah...! No pressure to join us though! We can just, chat ‘n stuff...!”

Internally, this girl was panicking. Why does Keiko keep pulling her into these antics?

It was a rather lovely day out, so Haru was out on a jog. She was humming to herself as she ran along...though that came to a halt when something furry caught her attention. Upon approaching the fuzzy being, the sportsmate could identify that this was a rat. She knelt down to their level,

“Um...hey little guy...”

Were they hungry? Thirsty?? Haru only had a water bottle on her...She was internally panicking over the possibilities.

What soft romance cliche are you?  

the almost kiss

you're unsure about things, always hesitating. why is that? maybe there's something to lose for you, but maybe (just maybe) the risk is worth it. you're the moment when the main characters lean in, lips parted and almost touching. but it's not the actual kiss everyone loves, it's the anticipation. when they look into each other's eyes before their lids flutter close. and there's a lot of frustration when things are interrupted. trust me though, you're a lot more memorable than the actual kiss. you're nervous, but at the end of the day all you want is to be loved.

What’s your role in a found family dynamic?

the protective one

it does not require much for you to take someone under your wing. you have a knack for seeing the best in others and rooting for them, and they look up to you in turn. they feel that you are safe to go to in times of chaos or strife, and are calmed by your presence. you take extra measures to make sure everyone feels supported. things that others might not even consider, you have already likely accounted for. in most scenarios, you are "the leader." your struggles tend to come from your desire to provide things to others. you want to give, to see those you love happy, to make wherever you are a place of comfort. your failures hit you hard because you see this as your responsibility, and you hate to let people down. ...okay, yes, there's no avoiding it: this is the parent friend.

the brains

people are not so much your forte. you are more at home with thoughts, ideas, hobbies, skills. as such, you probably have to learn how to work well with others--but once you do, hey, it has its moments. while you are treasured for your ability to solve problems, people also have this unique love of novelty. when you break from your schedule, when you say something no one is expecting--that's novel. you are as curious and lovable as the subjects you study. you are family. this place is not the same without your witty comments and wry observations. you definitely feel more comfortable when someone needs a straightforward answer than a shoulder to cry on, but it's not impossible to give both. know that your family loves you for more than that, though, and will (usually) remember to respect your boundaries.

the heart full of faith

at some point in your life, you've probably been told you're "the glue" keeping a certain group of people together. you look on the bright side of things. you are able to convince someone that everything will be alright. your (found) family walks away from you feeling strengthened by your faith and--let's face it--wisdom. hopefully, you aren't being taken for granted in this. keeping morale up comes naturally to you. you probably do plenty without even realizing it. you're a good listener, thoughtful, kind. even leaders come to you for guidance. you may or may not be keen on being in charge yourself, but you are trustworthy, and you do right by the people who depend on you. the only person you can't always see clearly is yourself. it's easy to tell someone their potential but incredibly difficult to realize your own. you need the support of others just as much as they need you--but once you're put to the test, you'll realize you had the right stuff in you all along.

Questions For My Muse(s) (accepting!)

Haru does her best to be friendly, though she does come off as unassuming and docile. She's still getting used to being the face of Switch Sports, and shrinks off if the attention is too much.

Though some would say she's too polite to the press, no matter how much they could smear her. In a technical sense, she is elusive so the masses not quite knowing her actual demeanor makes sense.

At the very least she's not shy around cameras as she is a model, but has her limits.

Keiko on the other hand, she's VERY friendly, but it will come off as rude because she gets too comfy around others. She will assume that others are comfy with her ideas and will go with it.

Though in a sense, maybe she is acting this way to pull people out of their shells. She's doing so with Haru, and goodness knows who else. This pull to the party was a trait even before Miis gained the ability to talk.

Still, to most, Keiko being pushy about getting others out there is pretty rude in a sense. But she just doesn't want folks to be left out.
