discovering the beatles in high school genuinely shaped me into the person i am today which is kinda insane because i don’t think much about them anymore. they were like my first loves and while i do think i would’ve gotten to who i am today without them, i know i did get there because of them. i became a girls girls and a fierce hater of republicans during that time and i never looked back

#misc.#proud to say i defended yoko ono bc while i do not think she was faultless in her life #a lot of the hate directed towards her was racism and born out of pure jealousy #i also learned to be mean to old men during that time #and i learned my worth as a teenage girl which was arguably the best part #like they existed and continue to exist through teenage girls and i firmly believe even to this day that teenage girls #are powerful as hell. they are intelligent and cool and know what the fuck is up so you should listen to them
