The foundation of the entire aesthetic is a high-quality fabric. As a result, you must correct it. Silk has a special role in ethnic clothing. Splurge on elegant fabrics such as silk, linen, cotton, chiffon, and so on. Instead of net, choose for a high-quality lace fabric.

in which, you are getting ready to celebrate holi with your fiance.
pairings; chris prince x reader
word count; 584
cw; just fluff, gender of reader not specified, reader wears a kurti, this is lowk cheesy lol, so sorry if chris is ooc its my first time writing him
words; pari = angel/fairy
(also idk who that couple is but many thanks to them for putting these pics on pinterest)
a/n: hii @meowmaii !! im reallyy sorry this took so long and also it's kinda short. im not sure that this is exactly what you wanted, but this was all i could come up with so pls excuse me im really sorry. if u want I'll rewrite this (T▽T人)
"so, how do i look?" chris asks you with an uncharacteristic nervous edge in his voice. with both hands still tending to the gold earring you were putting on, you turn away from the mirror to look at your fiance.
as soon as your eyes fall on him, they widen as you eagerly take in his form. "oh- oh my god baby you look so good!" you exclaim, unable to keep the awe out of your voice and you quickly fixed your earring, your hands now reaching forward to fix the collar of the white kurta he was wearing. and god, did he do it justice, the cloth fitting his muscular form perfectly, his veiny forearms peeking from just under where the sleeves ended.
chris grins, his ego now inflated back to normal. "think your parents will be impressed?" he asks. you huff, deciding to humor him. "i think maa is more excited about having you here than she is about me returning home after a good six months, so yes i'm pretty sure they will be." chris laughs, his chest rumbling like it always does when he guffaws.
soon, his eyes soften as he takes in your form. you're wearing a white kurti with some floral embroidery at the edges of the sleeves along with matching dupatta and salwar. "you look like a pari." your mouth falls open as you stare at him for a second when you hear him say pari in an english accent and as soon as you understand what he said, you immediately burst into giggles. "oh my god who taught you that?" you ask, as you catch your breath from laughing. chris blushes lightl, averting his gaze from you, all of a sudden very interested in your vanity mirror. "don't tell me... did you learn that from google translate..!?" once again a peal of laughter leaves your lips as you try your hardest to control it, and he presses his lips into a thin line, slightly embarrassed.
"gosh you're so sweet, you have no idea how much i love you" you mumble under your breath, shaking your head, and you smile as you kiss his cheek. "come on now, let's go. i think i heard didi call us." you say as you walk towards the door to your room, chris following you. honestly he gets so easily flustered because of you, its almost funny. its hard to believe hes such a confident and alluring figure to the public, an egotistical and expressive footballer, yet a lovesick puppy for you.
"are you guys coming?" your sister asks as she puts on her sandals, preparing to go out. you nod, "yeah go ahead we'll join you in a minute." your sister nods and leaves.
“before we leave-” you say spinning towards chris to face him, who looks at you, his eyebrows raised. “-happy holi!” you say, your hands quickly swiping some of the pink-colored powder from the tray kept on the stool near the door and coming up to his cheek and smearing it. chris's eyes widened in surprise, overtaken by the moment, the earthy smell of gulal filling his nose. he quickly recovers as he grins at you, reaching for the same powder and he too rubs it on your cheek, laughing as he does. you can't help yourself and laugh along with him. “should i take these bad boys?” he asks, gesturing towards the few water guns leaning against the stool. “you know it!” you say grinning as you take one and hand the other to him.
#imagine him pronouncing pari like paa-ree 😭😭#i giggled a bit#i feel like he's the type of man who becomes shy in front of his girl ykwim#blue lock#blue lock x reader#chris prince#chris prince x reader#manshine city#bllk#blue lock masters#bllk x you#bllk x reader#blue lock fluff#bllk fluff#desi au#holi

kiran this is my uhh fourth? year of promising to sew myself a livable summer wardrobe pls pray with me that it’ll be my first year of Actually doing it <3 and also, as always... what are your fave summer patterns?
omg you can do it i believe in you!! i always find that the most difficult part is getting started, once you get into the groove of it and sewing things it becomes addictive to just keep popping out garments, it always happens to me i'll go months without touching my sewing machine and then i'll sit down to sew a pair of pants or a shirt and a few days later i've sewn 5 whole new garments and i don't even know how i got there lmfao.
my summer patterns are probably different than most because i can't wear shorts or short sleeved clothing outside in the heat or my skin explodes, but i have a set of patterns that i make in lightweight linen or cotton and even though they're long pants and long sleeves they're soooo comfortable even on the hottest days. i also run hot year round so i wear these in winter too just with extra layers lol
- the fremantle pants and the cornell shirt from elbe textiles. i think i've made the fremantle pants 6 times now and while i change a few things about the construction process to suit my preference (i prefer a different method for attaching the waistband) they're literally my favourite pants ever. cornell shirt is also fantastic, i like view 1 which has a button placket that goes halfway down the shirt but not fully. i like to sew it using lightweight cotton esp fabric i've gotten from india and that combo makes it function like a short modern kurti/traditional desi shirt pattern for me and i love it
- all well cardigan coat by all well workshop. the hacking guide for this is awesome, i've made several different versions of this coat in midweight linens and cottons and they are the perfect method of protecting my arms from the sun if i want to wear a short sleeved shirt that day as well as for layering, and i always make them long with huge pockets so they're so functional and comfy
- harper tunic by elizabeth suzann studio. another shirt i've made several times to the extent that i use this pattern as a base whenever i want to make a new shirt. i made the hem straight instead of asymmetrical and i removed the pocket, and shortened the length of the tunic and it makes an awesome basic woven tee pattern for me. i can whip out a hacked shirt in this pattern in like 4 hours, highly recommend
- cap sleeve shirt from the assembly line. this is a new-to-me pattern that i'm currently using for the first time to make a shirt, and its great. similar basic silhouette as the harper tunic but it has a button placket and standing straight collar so i like having that built into the pattern.
- morocco pants from the fabrics store. awesome simple pants that are very comfy, but they work extremely well when cut into shorts. i can't wear shorts outside during the day but i still like to wear them at home/inside in the summer esp for sleeping, and i always use my hacked version of this pattern for that. so simple, so perfect.
#i dont mind paying for patterns because i know if i like it ill end up making it 6+ times#and whatever i dont agree with i can change myself w/o issue so ejrhejrkwke#also all these patterns go up to at least a US size 22 btw

When it comes to smut with kurt, everyone always writes something along the lines of " when you first made out with him he almost h̶e̶ t̶o̶t̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ d̶i̶d̶ creamed his pants" but I've never seen anyone write a scenario about it. So Do you think he would actually cream his pants or what exactly do you think will happen
I’ve actually written this before!! In my fic “We Can Still Have Fun” which is on my ao3! I’ll have to upload them all to tumblr as well at some point.
In this fic he cums early from partly the kiss, but there had also been a lot leading up to it. I’ll paste a section of the fic here below, about this specific part, although definitely go check the full fic out for context! And for more smut in a similar direction of this ask, as a full 9k fic haha
Also, if you want another blurb written, specifically about Kurt just creaming his pants from a good make out session alone, literally pop it in my ask box and I’ll write about that too ;)
~
His mouth was hung open dumbly, eyes hooded, until you put your panties right in his face. “You like sniffing women’s underwear huh? Like a dirty stalker?” Kurt sniffed in a teary way and you could tell the tears were just being held back, but he drank in the smell, eyes closed as he breathed in, rubbing his face against the cloth comfortingly like a blanket. “Only yours.”
You ripped his comforter out of his face, making him look at you and take in what he was admitting to. “You’re a really bad boy Kurt.” You hadn’t expected that to make the floodgates burst again, his face scrunching up before he began to cry properly now, but you could tell he absolutely lapped it up at the same time. “Stealing my used panties just to spill your tiny load into. How pathetic can you get?” He cried more, shaking his hair out his face as his fingers rubbed up and down the small section of your stomach daintily, innocently. “I bet you’d cum just from one touch of my hand on your dick.”
Kurt whimpered harder, hips gyrating into the bed, “P-please y/n... n-n-need you...” he begged needily, fingers itching at your stomach now, knees almost buckling under you.
You leant in closer to his face. “I don’t know if a dirty boy like you deserves to cum under me.”
He moaned harder.
“I’ll have to see if I want to use you or not, now I can’t touch myself through those panties anymore.”
Kurt whimpered, licking up his tears, his ass shifted more into the bed, he couldn’t stay still.
“Now you’ve dirtied them I can’t even touch them.” You scoffed. “But I guess I should touch you?” You asked sarcastically, but Kurt couldn’t answer, he was so under your spell.
With that you leaned forward and finally pressed your lips against his. It wasn’t a deep make out session in the slightest. But you slotted your warm lips in with his, noting how wet his mouth was. He breathed out hot needy pants into your own, once he remembered to breathe after you were initially just moving your lips against his. You slid your lower lip under his upper one in the short kiss when you felt something damp flop against you.
When you pulled back Kurt was full on sobbing, and you looked down to see his load all over his legs and stomach, and some on your jeans as well. His dick, while still somewhat half hard, had fallen back between both of your laps, and you looked up at him stunned. Both his hands were still on your torso, having not moved.
“I-I-“ he breathed in shakily “I’m sorry!” He sobbed, and you looked at him genuinely surprised. “I-! I didn’t mean to!” Kurt wailed hard, hiccuping on his breaths. You didn’t mean to either, not to make him cum yet, and he seemed to have found it just as unexpected as you.
He’d cum just from you kissing.
He was bawling pathetically by this point, and he was an ugly crier, snot dripped out his nose and his eyes were red, lips puffy and swollen, as he shook out more cries. You noticed his dick was still half hard though.
“It’s okay.” You finally said, a smile painting itself on your lips. “It’s alright Kurtie.” You stood up and Kurt’s hand trailed from your stomach, still reaching out as you left, looking up at you desperately, but you kept smiling at him, going over to his desk where a box of tissues was, and wiping at his nose first. You gave him the tissue once you’d dabbed a little, “Blow” you encouraged, watching him clean up his face even as he still sobbed quietly some, only stopping as he noticed you’d gone straight from handing him a tissue, to cleaning up the mess he’d left on your, and then his leg. He’d stopped crying completely by the time he watched you gently move a new tissue down his stomach, cleaning him off. You left his dick as it was though.
Even as he was crying it’d only gotten fully erect again, he probably liked some if not all of this.
“It’s perfectly okay beautiful boy.” You praised and reassured him, gently leading a hand to his cheek as he’d so wanted before. And he gratefully took it, burying his cheek into your palm with a soft moan, relaxing more, which meant his hips had started thrusting into the air again, as you gently stroked his soft skin. “I think it’s hot you came without being touched. Just by me kissing you.”
His moan was less soft this time. His hand finding purchase on your stomach yet again, but this time gaining a little more confidence, his thumb and forefinger needily pulling at the hem of your shirt.
“Don’t worry” you got him to look at you with that, and he licked his salty lips with anticipation “we can still have fun.”
With that, you shoved his chest down, making him lie flat on his back as you crawled closer, smirking. “Think I can kiss you again without creaming yourself Kunkle?”
Kurt licked his lips for a different reason this time, nodding fervently as you kissed him again. He was sloppy, very over eager, you weren’t actually sure if he’d ever kissed someone before, but it was cute. He jammed his tongue down your throat, moaning loudly as he excitedly tried to explore your mouth. It even went outwards a little, licking at your chin as he tried to touch you with his mouth as much as he could. You settled him a little by sucking on his tongue, making him slow down, even as you could feel your cheeks getting wet from how big he was trying to make the kiss.
You pulled back, a trail of spit connecting your two lips that was definitely mostly from him, as you felt his hand tugging more desperately at your shirt. “Pl-please can you take it off?” He whined.

So, idk how many people have done this. I need to calm down and this is the last place I feel like I can say something. I am in hysterics. So, I’ve been trying to find what the voices of the essentially head models of Peter in the Spider-Man PS4 and PS5 games sound like. Ben Jordan (the one in the remastered versions as well as the Miles Morales game) has only done that game so that was a dead end. But John Bubniak (the seemingly favored version of Peter from the PS4 version of the game) has been in some stuff, so I went digging. Watched almost a full episode of the newest season of American Horror Story I believe. He talked in that, but not enough to get a read on what he sounds like. Watched an episode of Barry cause he played the hypothetical son of the main character in the future. But only had a few short lines, so couldn’t really get a tell of what he sounded like either. I was essentially trying to find out if either of them have voices that could fit Peter Parker as well. Finally, Season 4 episode 1 of Bull, the 2016 version. Towards the end. Lawyer show that involves Tony Dinozzo from NCIS and George Washington of Hamilton fame, a case where they’re trying to figure out if a bartender is guilty for serving shots to a man who murdered his ex wife and 4 of her friends. They’re skipping days to see if they get the verdict back from the court. Three days later. Nothing. Seven days later. Nothing. Twenty. Seven. Years. Later. on a grassy hill at night, house in the background. woman laying her head in his lap. Talking about the case and if they ever figured out the verdict. Most I’ve ever heard him talk.
And this guy sounds like Kurtis fucking Conner.
I made a comment to myself that in the AHS episode I watched, he looked like him (curly mullet, mustache), but it was set in the early 80′s so I chalked it up to coincidence.
I was not expecting him to also sound like the commentary Youtuber as well.
So if someone reading my spideypool fics sees this post, and wonder’s what the point of this is, I’m gonna say...
...(jokingly) My headcanon for my Peter Parker is he sounds like Kurtis Conner.

NATO's Joint Force Command Naples said on Tuesday that it was deploying reserve troops to Kosovo to reinforce the NATO-led KFOR peacekeeping force. The information was later confirmed by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who said 700 soldiers were being deployed to the Balkan country.
This follows several days of unrest and the injury of 30 KFOR (short for Kosovo Force) troops on Monday as they tried to keep protesters away from municipal buildings in Serb-dominated towns in Kosovo.
"In response to recent unrest and the injury of 30 members of NATO's Kosovo Force, NATO has directed the deployment of the Operational Reserve Forces (ORF) for the Western Balkans, which was on a seven-day readiness-to-deploy status."
It also said that an additional reserve battalion would be ordered to increase readiness, so it would also be able to deploy in seven days if necessary.
"The deployment of additional NATO forces to Kosovo is a prudent measure to ensure that KFOR has the capabilities it needs to maintain security in accordance with our UN Security Council mandate," said Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, cammadner of Allied Joint Force Command Naples.
Munsch also said he wanted "to commend KFOR for taking swift, restrained and professional action to intervene to stop the unrest and to save lives" on Monday.
"The violence must stop, and all sides must stop taking actions to undermine the peace in any and all communities of Kosovo," Munsch said.
Troops back on guard after Monday's clashes
Dozens of NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) soldiers again stood guard outside municipal buildings in three northern Kosovo towns on Tuesday.
Tensions have worsened since ethnic Albanian mayors took office in the region's Serb-majority area after April elections that were boycotted by Serbs.
Soldiers clad in full riot gear erected a metal barrier around town hall in the municipality of Zvecan, where several hundred Serbs had tried to enter the building a day earlier.
The NATO troops also secured municipal buildings in two other towns — Leposavic and Zubin Potok.
Three armored vehicles belonging to the ethnic Albanian Kosovo police were parked in front of the town hall.
Violence flared on Monday after Serbs tried to force their way into Zvecan town hall, but Kosovo police fired tear gas to repel them.
The KFOR troops had been deployed to separate protesters from the police. At some point, they started using shields and batons to break up the demonstrators, while protesters responded by throwing rocks, bottles and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers.
More than 52 protesters and some 30 KFOR soldiers suffered injuries in the violence, including from "fractures and burns from improvised explosive incendiary devices."
Serbs boycotted last month's elections in northern towns where they are the majority. That allowed ethnic Albanians to take control of local councils despite a tiny turnout of under 3.5% of voters in those municipalities.
Why are the Serbs protesting?
While ethnic Albanians make up more than 90% of the population in Kosovo as a whole, that's not the case in parts of the north, close to the Serbian border.
Serbs there have long demanded the implementation of an EU-brokered 2013 deal to create an association of autonomous municipalities in their area.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti objected, saying this would create a mini-state and effectively split Kosovo along ethnic lines.
In protest at their demands for autonomy not being met, Serbs refused to participate in local elections in April. That allowed ethnic Albanian candidates to win the mayoralties in four Serb-majority communities with just a 3.5% turnout.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has blamed Kosovo authorities for causing problems by installing new mayors, while Pristina claims that Vucic has sought to destabilize Kosovo.
Russia and EU voice dismay at impasse
Russia, which has long had close ties with Serbia, on Tuesday said "decisive steps" were needed to de-escalate the situation.
Russia's foreign ministry urged "the West to finally silence its false propaganda and stop blaming incidents in Kosovo on Serbs driven to despair, who are peaceful, unarmed, trying to defend their legitimate rights and freedoms."
Moscow has helped block Kosovo's bid for United Nations membership at the request of Belgrade.
In turn, Pristina is heavily reliant on the US and its allies in its fight for full recognition. In the runup to the current unrest, however, Western powers had been unusually critical of Kosovo attempts to install mayors by force. The US has accused the government for "escalating tensions" and using "violent measures" in the north.
Meanwhile, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell called on Kosovar and Serbian leaders to seek a path to de-escalate tensions through talks.
"We have too much violence already in Europe today. We cannot afford another conflict," Borrell said.

ok so i mentioned i was doing this oc ask game and some friends off tumblr threw questions at me but i thought i’d cross post here for funsies (part 2)
👖 JEANS - what is their go-to outfit? (for everyone)
this question was intended as a jab at my complete inability to remember anyone's glasses but i think it is actually just revealing of how little i think about fashion. anyway. i'm going to consult the color-coded spreadsheet now.
new guard first
ilia: flannel button up and skinny jeans with tennis shoes, usually in cool colors
morgan: i'm cheating bc morgan's creator gave me the outfit word for word. jeans, tank top, dark-colored turtleneck, a red leather jacket, and combat boots. i have forgotten morgan's glasses and i will continue to forget them.
peter: black hoodie and sweatpants/jeans. i haven't used the velcro suit gimmick yet and i feel like i should
juli: goth butch vibes... given their line of work i think it's usually dark t-shirt + cheap faux leather or denim jacket + skinny jeans since anything nicer than that would end up with bullet holes in it
lian: cute patterned sweater + miniskirt or midi skirt in pastel colors
joshua: i am cheating again btw. green aviator jacket + sleeveless turtleneck + ripped jeans + fingerless gloves with steel knuckles + combat boots. first character to have glasses mentioned in canon.
rae: on a casual day probably like. a polo and khakis or dark jeans. i am not at all basing this on my brother
karyme: cardigan + plain blouse + patterned pants +/- scarf depending on weather and if she's going out and such. she has glasses. are you reading this earthy.
dani: tank top + skinny jeans + sweater tied around her waist + sneakers. YES she has glasses i did NOT forget.
auster: black hoodie and jeans. i didn't ask auster's creator for this but i know this in my heart
annnd now the ennead. i need everyone to know that my sister looked at me while i was writing this, narrowed her eyes, and told me to stop insulting her. i had not even told her what i was writing.
jinal: if not scrubs (for work), the answer is probably more casual kurtis and leggings/jeans
haku: dresses like my sister. t-shirt + hoodie + either athletic shorts or sweats. the only character whose glasses i consistently remember
minerva: rompers. hear me out: it's easy to move in and also has the potential to be cute as shit. alternately the dress + leather jacket combo (ty mika for opening my eyes to this)
ven: crop top + jacket + short shorts + long socks or cute dresses
kai: polo or button down + dark jeans or khakis depending on how formal he needs to look
mateen: sweater vests
ridwan: there's no one go-to but like. over the shoulder tops. crop tops. short shorts. patterned leggings. usually darker colors but not always
silpa: dresses like my sister... 2! free t-shirts and jeans but with overalls thrown in. socks and sandals when not working with sharp implements.
felix: pastel blouses/button-ups and patterned short shorts
