Building off of from this post where I talked about Channukah decoration ideas that weren't christmas repackaged, but I didn't mention the jewitchy stuff so I thought I would make a seperate post for it. Obviously there is the inherit magic within the rituals of daily life that you can imbue into food, colors chosen, and symbols, but here are some really specific witchy stuff.

While I have been looking online for more craft ideas for channukah I kept getting christmas stuff, which was terribly annoying like at this point call me danny fenton, and then once I did get to the Jewish stuff I was just getting stuff that was repackaged christmas. Like there were some cute ideas of course, but i'm not christian so I don't want to celebrate christmas. Also whats with the gnomes. I am definitely gonna talk about it more in the future I think because what is channukah and the gnomes, its just so off and wrong. But anyways here is my list of channukah decoration ideas that aren't christmas repackaged

Decorate with a Chanukkiah(sing.) or Chanukkiot (plural). This can be the typical candle menorah or you can get a vintage oil wall Chanukiah

Candles around the house

Sun & fire themes and motifs

Snowflakes because winter

Challah menorah

Latke plates

Lanterns

Fairy Lights

Making dreidels

Make chocolate coins

Clay crafts

Suncatcher

Oil Lamps

Campfire or bonfire (maybe a marshmallow channukia)

Make some art about all the ways to spell channukah

Don't use white and blue, that is not traditional, that is only because of marketing. My Eema grew up using all of the colors and so did I, but I do assosiate it mostly with colors of fire since its a festival of fire and oil

Basically make things, make things to last you and your family. Make memories with making stuff and have fun doing it.
