KomaHinaNami Friendship Headcanons: 

KomaHinaNami is one of my personal favorite Danganronpa trios whether it be platonic or romantic. So, I felt like creating a few headcanons about their friendship in a Non-Despair AU. Hope you enjoy!

Learn one thing when hanging out with these three: Video game dates are a must

These three will play video games together whenever they hang out (though it usually ends up being a competition between Nagito and Chiaki while Hajime does his homework nearby)

Hajime has banned Mario Party from these hangouts (Chiaki and Nagito think it's because he knows he'll definitely lose)

Chiaki likes playing horror games with them because Hajime is usually terrified (even though he would never admit it) and Nagito can even get jumpscared sometimes, too

Nagito's favorite thing to do is to just annoy the fuck out of Hajime

Sometimes, Chiaki will save him, and others, she will join in on being annoying

They're almost always late to school due to Chiaki's inability to wake up in the morning, which sometimes drives Hajime crazy

Hajime is low-key the mom of the group and is always looking out for the other two and scolds them whenever they do stupid shit

He often looks out for them whenever they're not taking care of themselves (whether it be because of Nagito's mental health or because of Chiaki's gamer habits)

However, he's also a huge hypocrite; Nagito and Chiaki usually have to stop Hajime from indulging in his workaholic habits and take care of him

While video games are the main thing that they do, they do other stuff; Nagito would often recommend books for them to read and Hajime would sometimes set up a movie for them to watch

They also like hanging out at the park, cafe, Hope Peak's fountain, or anywhere else that seems like a good hang out spot

Nagito will sometimes go on about his hope speeches to them, and the other two usually listen while doing their own thing, which is fine with him

However, they don't tolerate his self-deprecation at all

Chiaki would tell Nagito that he isn't trash or worthless and even point out good traits about him while Hajime just straight-up tells him to knock it off and that he isn't trash

Nagito's the same way whenever the other two do the same thing (though it's very rare for them as they keep their insecurities to themselves)

But, whenever those insecurities do slip out, Nagito will listen and try to comfort and reassure them to the best of his ability

Sometimes, the three would just talk about their personal issues and insecurities, and they would try to comfort each other as well

Chiaki feels like she's the worst at this because she generally isn't someone who expresses her insecurities and negative emotions, but she tries to be there for Hajime and Nagito

Nagito sometimes gets nervous about his luck cycle, and sometimes even tries to push Chiaki and Hajime away out of fear of hurting them

Fun fact: They never let him do that because they always have a feeling that something's up whenever he tries to attempt this

They're also very protective of each other

If you hurt or mess with one of them, be prepared to have to deal with the other two plotting against you, especially if one of them is Nagito Komaeda

Chiaki likes snuggling with her friends and just falls asleep when she does, kinda like a cat

Another quirk of Chiaki's is that she tugs on Nagito's sleeve or Hajime's tie to get their attention due to being so tiny (She's almost choked Hajime because of this)

Hajime gets flustered easily whenever Nagito or Chiaki (who are affectionate people) lay their heads on him, cuddle with him, or just generally touch him in general
