I had such a stupid dream last night, but stupid in a fun way. I dreamed that a neighboring town's community theatre was going to be doing, get this, a Maxley stage play.

Max Goof and Bradley Uppercrust III's story was going to be told on stage! I even saw the fliers for it!! I was so excited but so confused-- like HOW?!

Then I got a envelope with Maxley art on it, just the two posing and being silly--had nothing to do with the play, just random!

When I say Maxley has taken over my life, I mean it 🤣 I actually woke up a little sad that I wasn't going to see the Maxley play. But also woke up feeling good, which is nice 🥰

I think it would be fun and interesting if they said fuck it and did a Joker who is not quirky or an ideological extremist or anything he's just some poor fuck who fell in acid while fighting Batman and got stuck with clown face. He's totally mentally sound, he only wants to get revenge against Batman for ruining his life and also turning him into a clown man. The whole maniacal clown prince of crime thing is just a persona that was gradually constructed by the people around him through rumors, misunderstandings, and unfortunate coincidences. He fucking hates it too. He was content being a low level crook and flying under the radar. He never asked for this. He never asked to be some big shot supercriminal or a twisted beacon of hope for Gotham's evildoers.

All the other members of the rogues' gallery are constantly calling him up to propose team-ups and ask for advice and he's just sitting there wondering how it all came to this. He gets peer pressured into joining the Legion of Doom so now he gets to go sit in a gaudy boardroom with a bunch of weirdos every month just slumped in his chair wishing he could go home.
