i forget that theres an episode thats genuinely just "look how nice this show would be if some of your women who are minor side characters became part of the more "plot relevant" side characters, and werent just killed off because viewers hate women"

#a glimpse into what it would be like if ellen for example hadnt just showed up in a handful of episodes and died before being given any #real relevance #theres 2 different genres of side character in this show and its bobby vs ellen #and this episode was like. what if we made ellen into a bobby level of character. just kidding we wouldnt give a woman screen time #i mean hell. the next fem side character i can think of is charlie and not only did she die #but they killed her so violently and brutally that its actually kind of insulting. thank you sexism AND homophobia for that one #if theres one thing i cant stand about this show its that every protagonist for long durations of the show is a white man #simon says
