In the NBC Hannibal universe there are 12 Will Graham x Reader fanfics published on ao3 and Hannibal (Ch3sap3ake_Ripp3r) is the author of 11 of them. Matthew Brown (xXWillGrahamLuvrXx) wrote the 12th. Everyone wants the eggs to be diverse complex characters with their own problems up until they actually do and have genuine conflict with another egg or person based on their own opinions and not on being a neutral entity that can do no wrong.

One of my faaaaaaavorite things (said with heavy sarcasm) is a general trend of, when drawing Deep Cut in clothing besides their idol fits, Shiver will often be put in more feminine clothing while Frye gets way more neutral/masculine fits, and it's always. hmmmmmm.

Because like . I don't know. I feel like Frye is decently fem herself? Not that Shiver isn't presented femininely in canon either, but it feels telling of... something, that people will look at them both and go okay... what fashion should I put them in? Well the stereotypically pretty Japanese character shall go in very feminine clothes and can have a skirt or dress. And the darker skinned Indian character can have pants.

#prince talks #It's Just Racism.#Actually where this pisses me off most is when they are drawn as Team Rocket and Shiver is drawn in Jessie's uniform #while Frye gets to be in James'#because not only does it continue a ooooh Shiver is the femme one they can be Girl. Frye is Masc.#But it also implies a drastic level of character misinterpretation if you think Shiver is the Jessie. They're very clearly the James.#idk man. Frye gets all those fluffy coats and sweaters and like. I know she does canonically wear pants #but she's clearly pretty fem still...#also it's hard to articulate but there is something that just feels so... insidious about the feminization of Shiver #because that is Also racism. Shiver being the Pretty Japanese Lady who must therefore also be Feminine is Racism #it's wild to see it happening knowing that this is the same character everyone thought was going to be canon nonbinary

i've watched a lot of good films lately in an attempt to catch up with a bunch of movies that have come out recently, but talk to me was the best movie i've seen in a LONG time

#i put off watching it for so long because i was sure it was overrated + i'm generally not a fan of possession movies #(because so many of them try to be the exorcist and they will never be the exorcist. you know how it is)#but holy shit. genuinely a brilliant movie in every aspect of filmmaking + completely aligned with my personal taste #+ exactly what i look for thematically in possession and/or ghost movies #+ the absolute perfect balance between psychological and gory #and like i said SUCH a good cold opening #tbh i think it's a useful trick to know how to get your audience to buy into a supernatural premise from the very first scene #i think that takes some VERY effective + skillful writing and directing #and as someone who again typically does NOT like possession movies i usually end the movie NEVER buying into the story #not because i'm a 'skeptic' or whatever just because the writing doesn't do the work #but SCENE ONE of this movie i was so in it #anyway. movee of all time to me #also from the trailers etc i had thought that that fluffy yellow sweatshirt mia wears at the beginning of the movie was a bathrobe lmao #my first impression of what this movie was gonna be like was NOT correct #anyway 'recently' means in the past 2 years i guess?#actually maybe this post was a lie because i LOVED nope which was also just an absolute cinematic masterpiece #anytime i watch a jordan peele movie it's just like. this man is so far beyond any other filmmaker out there right now #it's almost unfair to watch lol like an olympic gold medalist running laps around a middle school track team #anyway ummm. yeah talk to me was good though

Fang being miserable and an asshole as he curls up on the couch with a tub of ice cream in some baggy sweatpants until Bark just wordlessly sits next to him and Bean bounces over with some takeout and a large chocolate milkshake that he went and got because he knows Fang likes it.

Though he doesn't say it Fang is grateful to not have to deal with breakthroughs on his own and have friends to pull him out before he has a strong depressive episode.

Bark and Bean don't judge Fang being a asshole when this happens, they can see the anguish it causes, they just bare it knowing he doesn't mean it and will apologise in his own way later.
