If it’s of interest to anyone, I like to think Gus and Emily had an ongoing bet for how long it would take for Cal and Shane to get together and a completely separate bet on who was gonna crack first. Emily ends up winning both

#orange posts #I’m in the middle of writing #right #and I just thought it would be the funniest thing #a few days after this fic happens Emily notes both Shane and Cals absence around town #and eventually when Shane vista for a nightly meal #she gives him the old eye brow wiggle and insists he tells her everything #to which Shane is obviously baffled and embarrassed #Emily is both the best and worst friend to have when it comes to relationships #Marnie was also in on the second bet #she had full confidence they’d get together it was just a matter of when #Gus paid out quite handsomely to both of them #and I think it’s just hilarious #n e way #back to writing #(don’t know how much of this little idea I’ll keep but it’s funny regardless)
