They have a daughter, called Estelle. She has an older brother, but he lives somewhere else. They’re best friends. Percy comes home from New Rome for a couple days. A carbon copy of Jason Grace states right up at him.

i am always ready to talk about their kids

okay so i know a lot of people think they would name after people in their lives, like i’ve seen ppl name them after luke, ethan, silena, etc. i do not fuck with that. to each their own, but that hc is not for me. i DO fuck with the idea that they will steal their friends middle/last names and name their kids after that. so let’s go down the line.

- kid 1 is a daughter named grace, obviously named after thalia and jason. she’s a carbon copy of annabeth with blonde curls and gray eyes, and she’s definitely a momma’s girl. she does have percy’s sense of humor tho. they have her at age 25. i feel like when she’s young, she wants to be an architect bc she wants to be just like annabeth but when she gets older, she finds that she actually likes the insides of buildings more than the outside and she becomes an interior designer. she and annabeth are a powerful team <3

- kid 2 is another daughter named elizabeth, named after rachel. they have her at 28 and by then, there’s def no bad blood between rachel and annabeth and (even if i hate rachel) i feel like they might be decent friends by then? elizabeth (yes they call her liz or lizzie) has black curls and annabeths eyes. she’s a momma’s girl for about 2 years and then boom, percy is her favorite person in the entire world and they have the best bond. chefs kiss i love them. something about her gives me baker vibes, maybe because she’s always helping percy around in the kitchen. (and by helping, i mean she steals chocolate chips when he isn’t looking) so she grows up to own a bakery

- kid 3 is a son named kane, named after sadie and carter kane. lowkey don’t remember if they stay in touch with sadie and carter but whatever i say they do. now they have kane at age 31 or 32 and he’s lowkey unplanned. he’s got percy features to a T, but he’s a momma’s boy too. annabeth would never admit it, but he’s lowkey her fave because she’s always wanted a mini percy😭 not gonna lie, everything i’ve ever written kane into, he’s like an infant so i have no idea what he’d be when he grows up but it’s fine he has time to pick his life path

Ask Toby Day 1: A Nice Teenage Memory for Once

One of my favorite memories from before everything went... weird, is of the Crothers family.

Danny Crothers and his dad lived in our neighborhood, in a small one story house across the street and two doors down. I didn't have many friends, really just Millie, when they moved in.

To be clear, I did have a friend, Jason Campbell? I met him when I was a kid, before I had to stop going to school. But, Jason changed between eighth grade and freshman year, he started acting really aggressive and bullying me. He shaved his head and started insisting everyone call him JC. I stopped hanging out with him that summer, kind of just stuck to myself.

I was driving Millie crazy one day, being the annoying little brother because Mom had gone out for the day with Frank. She finally kicked me outside, told me to go bother someone else for a while. But I didn't have anyone else to be around.

So I sat on the front steps, just watching the day pass by. There was a moving truck in front of the house across the road and a van pulled up. An older man got out, the sun shining on his brown skin as he smiled up at it. A boy my age got out, obviously his son because they looked like carbon copies of each other, down to their Denver Broncos shirts and caps.

The boy was looking around and spotted me sitting on the steps of my house. He turned and said something to his dad who hesitated, then sighed heavily and nodded. Then the boy was running over to me and introducing himself as Danny.

Danny and I were fast friends, and his dad made sure I was taken care of. He'd noticed the bruises and marks Frank left behind and first offered to help get me out. But when I told him that Millie and I would be separated and that we were only waiting on me to turn 18, and then we would be out. Mr. Crothers reluctantly agreed but told me that under no uncertain terms, Danny and he had my back.

It made me feel better, knowing someone cared about me besides Millie. He was always doing things like that. One day I went over there and mentioned in passing that I was hungry. I'm gonna have Grace type out what Mr. Crothers did because she's better with catching the mood of the moment.

Danny: Hey Dad, I'm gonna grab some snacks.

Mr. Crothers: *lip smack* welll... we got ten sirloin steaks. We got fifteen rib roasts. Twelve bags of hamburger! We got thirteen rump roasts, about forty chicken leg quarters. We got hot and cold cereal! Hot and cold vegetables! *starts clapping* green beans, tomatah, potatah, *getting faster* chicken, turkey, salad,*preacher voice* you naaaaaame it!

Anyway, Mr. Crothers did that every time I was around and food was mentioned. I think he always wanted to make sure I knew I had the pick of whatever I wanted. But it always brought a smile to my face that he cared, hell he cared for me just as much as he cared for Danny it seemed.

So Danny was my best friend in high school, and Mr. Crothers? Mr. Crothers was the closest person I've ever had to a father.

I'm glad to have known him, and wish I could see both of them again

Percy Jackson: Pietro Pellegri/ Paulo Dybala

WHY: Pietro, in my mind, is a perfect Percy Jackson if Percy was italian. He’s got the hair, not the eyes, a little bit more bulky, and about two inches taller than Percy. Ok, so he��s not that accurate. But I think he would be a pretty cool Percy. Paulo because he just reminds of Percy in his attitude and way of dealing with life. He’s a little short for Percy but I think he would be pretty sweet. He hasn’t got green eyes but he does have light coloured eyes.

Jason Grace: Joshua Kimmich/Julian Brandt/Thorgan Hazard

WHY: Joshua is definitely shorter than Jason. But he’s got the blue eyes, the blond hair. He’s not american, but if he was (and if he was a bit taller) he would be the carbon copy. Also, the way that he might seem standoffish and a little cold in first impressions also reminds of Jason. Not to mention squints a hella lot. Julian Brandt, I think, looks more like Jason physically. He’s built well and even if he isn’t quite the height, he’s taller than Joshua. His smile just screams JASON. But it’s the way he acts that doesn’t sit right with me. He seems like a very cheery person, which Jason can be, but he looks a little to nice for Jason. A little too adorable, and a little less blank. I don’t think the emotionless thing would work with Julian at all. Thorgan is in somewhat the same situation as Julian. He is a little too timid but I feel he’d make a pretty good Jason, not as good as Joshua or Julian, but good enough.

Leo Valdez: Neymar Jr./ Isco Alarcon/Luca Zidane

WHY: Neymar I feel is how I would imagine Leo to look in real life. A little tall, yes, but I think if he let his hair grow out he would look like a perfect Leo. Isco because he is the mental embodiment of Leo. Seriously, dude’s pretty fun and goofy. He’s got curly hair too. I think he would pull of the part better than Neymar. Luca because he looks a lot like Leo, he looks the most Leo out of all of them I think.

Frank Zhang: Yoshinori Muto/ Zhang Yunig

WHY: Now this was a hard one. Yoshinori, I feel, brings a much more boyish element to Frank. He’s too lean, and not enough muscle though. If his shoulders got a little wider, he would be a better Frank. No, I did not choose Zhang because of his name. I genuinely think he looks exactly like Frank. He’s pretty tall, nice bulk, literal embodiment of Frank. I think he would be a much better Frank than Yoshinori.

Octavian: Marco Reus

WHY: There was no hesitation. Like I just knew. I didn’t have to do any research or anything, it was obvious. I’m not saying Marco is evil or a dirtbag, but damn he would portray Octavian so good. Except for Marco’s tattoos, they would like the same person. Ignoring the fact that Marco isn’t as scrawny as Octavian. Just, this is it.

Percy walked into his moms house, smiling. It was a while since he’d come to visit from New Rome and he was looking forward to seeing everyone, especially his little sister Estelle. She was 6 now, and, according to Sally, she had a friend coming over. They were the new neighbours, the Cecily family, and Estelle had made friends with their oldest kid, 5 year old Alexander.

Annabeth was at some architecture talk in New Rome, but Thalia had agreed to tag along, mainly because Estelle adored her.

‘She likes me more than you,’ teased Thalia as they entered the house, leading Percy to punch her softly. They had developed a sort of sibling like relationship after Jason passed, which was nice. It had been 6 years since Jason died, but Percy thought about it a lot, especially after hearing about how messed up Jason’s life was, but only after he died. He still wanted to have had a better relationship with jason, and felt guilty that he hadn’t. Thalia had said the same. Well, that wasn’t the point of their visit. Percy kissed his mom on the cheek and gave her a gift, and Thalia gave her a hug. It was nice.

Estelle was in an artsy phase, so her cheap watercolour paints and small felt tips were scattered across the couch as she sketched a boy. This must have been Alexander, and though Percy couldn’t see his face, he had almost white blond hair.

Like Jason.

Percy pushed the idea out of his head quickly. Kids just had hair like that, especially blond kids. It took a while to darken, so most young blond kids ended up with hair so white it almost hurt to look at. This boy wasn’t Jason. He wasn’t.

Estelle looked up at Percy and beamed, and Alex did too. And that’s when Percy gasped. Thalia looked terrified.
