right??? he has that og grievous vibe frfr
Born into a violent world. Was a child soldier (or born as a soldier omnic), and through religious connection he sees meaning and honor. Willing to sacrifice parts of himself for his people's safety (his freedom, etc), others see him as an extremist/villain when he's a hero for his people, fighting against the ongoing genocide against his kind while everyone else turns a blind eye to the atrocities. His thirst for vengeance leads to an eye for an eye philosophy, which is understandable how he got there but it's not the right path, it does not fix what is already lost, a tactical genius that uses strategy and close bonds with his fellow soldiers to effectively fight, but his infamous title leads to a larger group taking advantage of him (Talon instead of the Banking clan) He is lethal, honorable, stern, and bitter but values the few people in his life that are close. Proudly (insert culture/religion) but is losing those connections to such honor through sacrifices and rage. Dealt the worst cards in the deck, and just wants his people to live in peace. Going beast mode gives him 4 arms, even has the same long black hair design that early pre-cyborg grievous had. Also Ramattra's voice kind of sounds like 2003 grievous lol. wears a badass mask with haunting eyes underneath
I absolutely hate a billion things about the series,
But i feel mad that they released a "checkmark:daddiest" omnic that has mega "legends lore general grievous" vibes (which i adore, obviously) AND ON TOP OF THAT WE FINALLY GET Zenyatta lore.... RIGHT when i was about to forget the series even existed and be at peace..............
#general grievous#reblog#ramattra#also legends grievous backstory is based on Gilgamesh which is Mesopotamian and ramattra is seemingly Egyptian inspired.#so obviously not the same place but ancient civilization influences are strong here. Ramattra was originally a Pharoh type character.#so even tho they claim grievous has an eastern European accent his vibes always seemed more SWANA inspired beyond the dracula influence#to me atleast#a Pharoh and a 'demigod warrior' are pretty similar for influence#ramattra is the legends grievous vibes we DESERVED okay.#text#long text#overwatch 2#overwatch#star wars
