Meet Gabrielle, the New Bags From Chanel Everyone is Obsessed With

In 1955, Coco Chanel introduced the 2.55 bag — with its signature “Mademoiselle” lock — and it changed the handbag forever. Not only did the bag free up women’s hands; it also became a Chanel icon and created the concept of an “it” bag. In 2011, the Boy Bag was introduced, and it also became an instant hit — and no-self respecting street-style stars or wannabe stars can afford to be seen without one!

For 2017, meet the Gabrielle from Chanel. First seen at the Spring Summer 2017 RTW show, this collection of new shapes is set to become the new must-have, and the best part is it comes in four styles — hobo, backpack, purse, and large shopping bag. All four styles can be worn three different ways — over the shoulder, across the body, or both at the same time, with the chain going over one shoulder and then diagonally over the other — basically whatever suits the wearer’s mood, because its our bag and we can damn well wear it however we want!
