Arnold Schwarzenegger is so buff he didn't realize somebody dropkicked him
For a 71-year-old, Arnold Schwarzenegger is still pretty damn built.
While attending a jump rope competition in Johannesburg, South Africa, the former body pro bodybuilder, actor, and governor of California was dropkicked in the back by an unidentified attacker while he was in the middle of filming a video for his Snapchat account.
Now, most people would've turned around to see WTF hit them, but not Schwarzenegger. The guy's so buff he didn't even realize someone had dropkicked him at first.
SEE ALSO: Arnold Schwarzenegger's Instagram is actually kind of good?
In a video posted to YouTube (skip to 0:56), the attacker, clad in a dark sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, is seen launching a flying kick right into Schwarzenegger's back.
It's unclear what the motive was for the attack. Security immediately rushed over to detain the attacker as he yelled for help, but it's hard to make out what he was saying.
And if you have to share the video (I get it), pick a blurry one without whatever he was yelling so he doesn’t get the spotlight. By the way... block or charge? pic.twitter.com/TEmFRCZPEA
— Arnold (@Schwarzenegger) May 18, 2019
Schwarzenegger let out a pained cry as he absorbed the impact, but apparently he didn't even realize what had happened until later. Schwarzenegger says he thought he had been "jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot."
He only later found out he was kicked in the back when he saw a video of the attack online.
Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.
— Arnold (@Schwarzenegger) May 18, 2019
In a tweet, Schwarzenegger reassured followers he was okay and "there is nothing to worry about" before capping it off with "I'm just glad the idiot didn't interrupt my Snapchat."
Man, imagine how pissed Schwarzenegger would've been if the guy had messed with his Snapchat. Would he have just snapped the guy in half? That's probably too extreme, but not totally out of the question considering he was the Terminator.
Schwarzenegger urged his followers to not re-share the video and give attention to the attacker "who wants to be famous." Instead, he'd much prefer fans support the young athletes who are a part of his Arnold Sports Festival and are helping to spread the benefits of fitness to everyone.
Do me a favor: instead of sharing the video of the guy who wants to be famous, watch some of our @ArnoldSports athletes like this young hero proving that fitness is for everyone who deserve to be famous. They’re on my Snapchat. pic.twitter.com/EuMynJ7t1n

BTS lit up Stephen Colbert's stage again and it's pretty clear everyone's a fan
There's no such thing as too much BTS.
Mere days after taking the world by storm (again) with a Beatles-inspired performance of "Boy With Luv" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, K-pop phenomenon BTS returned to the talk show for a second special appearance to perform "Make It Right."
And you guessed it: BTS fans (aka ARMY) couldn't get enough of the pretty boys and their beautiful voices.
youtube
Unlike their "Boy With Luv" performance, BTS skipped the dancing and instead stuck to a vocals act to let each of their voices shine.
As with seemingly everything they do, fans praised the boy band for their natural live singing abilities, especially their skillfully-timed harmonizations.
MAKE IT RIGHT PERFORMANCE ON THE STEPHEN COLBERT SHOW!!!!!!! The flavor, the harmonization, the vocals, the look!!!! 😍😍🥰😍
— 𝒢𝒾𝑔𝒾 is seeing BTS tomorrow! 🥰 (@majestic_gigi) May 18, 2019
Make It Right live performance on Colbert show is the perfect way to shut down those who say BTS can't sing live

Omg bts got a standing ovation on Colbert 🥺🥺

Others, however, were just upset they missed it:
NOOOOOOOO I FELL ASKEEP AND MISSED BTS ON COLBERT!!!!
— Karu💜 (@serenchim) May 18, 2019
BTS and the values they're sending through their music isn't just for the teens. The boy band's inclusive messaging is something everyone can appreciate and the main reason they're so beloved by fans across the world.
my auntie said that she watched bts on Stephen Colbert yesterday nd asked me if I already watched it so I said yes, on livestreams and she also said that she was supposed to film it and send to me but she knows that im always updated about them so she didn't,,, so supportive 😂😂

CAN U BELIEVE MY MOM NOT-SO-SECRETLY WATCHED BTS AT THE LATE SHOW STEPHEN COLBERT ON HER PHONE WHEN I HADN’T EVEN WATCHED IT

Even if you don't like BTS, don't be an asshole. The last thing anyone needs right now in today's troubled world is, as one Twitter user astutely put it, negative vibes:
Please go on Stephen Colbert's official FB page and leave some positive comments that'll make people wanna check BTS out. There's loads of uptight white males with toxic masculinity who are hating on their vocals, their rap, and are calling them girls. https://t.co/JhTXoxaz5c pic.twitter.com/wK9z6c675I

The internet can't stop editing live cats into the 'Captain Marvel' poster
If you need a reminder of how amazing the internet is, look no further than the trending hashtag for Captain Marvel's cuddly cat — sorry, I mean Flerken — named Goose.
Following the release of Disney's latest superhero blockbuster in South Korea, the hashtag for Goose, "#캡틴마블_우리집구스," started trending. But whereas most Twitter hashtags are usually filled with text, this one quickly turned into a gallery of cute kitty overload.
SEE ALSO: Everything you need to know about Captain Marvel's cat
Spotted by Twitter user @doryheartsbooks, the hashtag is filled with images of peoples' cats Photoshopped into a Captain Marvel background.
Awww, too cute:

But the most hilarious ones are the tweets parodying the fan creations...like this one made of Nanoblocks:

Not to be left out, even people who don't own a cat got in on the fun. Check out that gallery with the dogs and the parrot!

NBD, it's just a Bengali cat skateboarding down the street like a boss
youtube
This is Boomer. No, not Michael Phelps' adorable baby Boomer, but Boomer, the Bengali cat who skateboards.
Yes, this cat skateboards. And skateboards really well. Boomer's probably better at skateboarding than most people. He's also most definitely more talented than most cats, whose skills mostly consist of eating, sleeping, and playing games on iPad.
Just look at how cool and collected Boomer is while he skates through a semi-crowded street. Observe his kicking technique, leaving one front leg on the board and kicking with his others, to keep the acceleration. It's like he's the Tony Hawk of cats.
If you're a cat owner, now's the time to look at him/her, feel ashamed, and start teaching them how to skateboard, ride a bike, or maybe even drive a car.

This Starbucks barista will draw an awesome caricature of you on your cup
What's better than walking out of Starbucks with a cup of your preferred caffeinated beverage just the way you like it?
How about a cute caricature of yourself drawn on your cup?
SEE ALSO: Starbucks could be jumping onto the unicorn train with a new drink
Jason Tocewicz is not your typical Starbucks barista. He's become something of a local superstar in Toronto, CBC News reports.
Within 10-30 seconds after taking a customer's order down, he's already drawn caricatures of them on their cups, and they're spectacular.
Really, there's no way you pick up your Venti-sized coffee-latte-whatever and not walk out with a big ol' cheesy smile on your face.

What started out as just a fun way to prevent orders from getting mixed up has turned into a stress reliever for Tocewicz, and a reason for customers to go specifically to the Starbucks located near Eglinton Avenue East and Warden Avenue.
Tocewicz keeps the caricatures for customers pretty simple due time constraints, but on his breaks he really goes all out on the details. Here are some our favorites from Tocewicz's Instagram:

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have added a furry friend to their family
With the Royal Wedding now in the rearview mirror, Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle are taking the next big step in their marriage: They're adopting a dog.
The newlyweds have reportedly adopted a Labrador according to People.
SEE ALSO: Prince Harry's former car can be yours for a mere £71K
According to the entertainment magazine, the two adopted the dog in "early summer" and the assuredly adorable pup has "been joining them at their country getaway in the Cotswolds area and Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London."
So what does this new canine addition to the family look like? I mean, it's gotta be adorable, right?
Unfortunately, photos of the Labrador haven't been released (or leaked) yet. Neither has the dog's name.
Markle is a known pup lover. Prior to joining the British royal family, she had two — a rescue dog named Bogart and a beagle named Guy.
Guy made the trip to his new home in the UK, but Bogart apparently didn't and now resides with one of Markle's friends in Los Angeles, according to E! News.
We're sure photos of the mysterious new Labrador will surface eventually, but if you don't know what they look like (maybe you're not a dog person!), here are some cuties to get stare at:

Sia's story of meeting Donald Trump on 'SNL' comes with a crappy twist ending
Way back in 2015, before he was firing everyone from his golden toilet in the White House, Donald Trump just wanted a photo with Sia.
In a Rolling Stone profile published Friday, the singer recalled how Trump politely took it in stride when she declined to take a photo together after they both appeared on Saturday Night Live. But the funniest part? Sia said she had "crazy diarrhea" after the encounter.
SEE ALSO: Why Trump's EPA wants to kill the nation's most ambitious climate change plan
Sia was walking back to her dressing room when Trump, who was hosting that night's SNL, spotted her and asked for a photo together.
"We’ve got to get a photo!" Sia recalled Trump saying. His daughter Ivanka was reportedly with the future president and ready to snap a pic, but Sia refused his request.
The singer said she worried about the potential outrage that would come if she was seen with Trump. "Actually, do you mind if we don’t? I have a lot of queer and Mexican fans, and I don’t want them to think that I support your views," she recalled telling Trump.
Seemingly not offended, Trump brushed it off and didn't appear angry or upset. "Oh, no problem. Then don’t," he said in Sia's account.
"It was as if he viewed me as protecting my brand," she added. That's when this story's twist happened.
"I was like, ‘Thank you so much,’" Sia told Rolling Stone, before adding, "and then I went into my dressing room and had crazy diarrhea."
While you might be LOLing at the meeting, as the Huffington Post's follow-up report notes, it's not the only time the Australian pop star ever took a serious dump after being in stressful situation.
In December 2017, she tweeted to her fans how she suffered from similar symptoms after bad weather conditions screwed up a flight, and then a blown tire during a 13-hour drive "has given me crazy diarrhea."
I may be five minutes late. We couldn't catch a plane due to weather, so drove thirteen hours then blew a tire which has given me crazy diarrhea. Bear with me guys. I love you.
— sia (@Sia) December 2, 2017
The question now is, will Trump fire back? Shade her on Twitter? We all know how easily irritated the 45th President of the United States gets whenever anyone says anything remotely bad about him.
WATCH: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No. It's an inflatable Trump baby flying around London

Taylor Swift third-wheels fans’ love story during engagement
What are two Taylor Swift fans who met at one of the pop star's concerts back in 2013 supposed to do when they want to spend the rest of their lives together?

The Netherlands celebrated their Winter Olympics win by trolling Trump
The 2018 Pyeongchang Games are officially underway and now it's a race to see which country scores the most golds and overall medals in the next two weeks.
On Saturday, The Netherlands pulled off a medals sweep in the women's 3,000-meter speed skating event, making them the first country to collect gold, silver, and bronze medals for this round of games. And how did they celebrate? By throwing some shade at President Trump, of course!

Donald Trump's latest retweet proves once again what an immature child he is
Just for once, it would be delightful to wake up, hop on Twitter, and not see Donald Trump acting like a complete idiot.
Our immature commander-in-chief has once again outraged everyone with an unhinged Twitter retweet. On Sunday morning, Trump retweeted a GIF depicting his golf swing hitting a golf ball right into Hillary Clinton's back, forcing her to fall over.

The retweet is shameful, and actively harmful. It's an endorsement of violence on women, and broadly speaking, violence on all people, regardless of gender. It's immensely disturbing and, naturally, people are rightfully angry because this crap is not OK.
It's not OK for anyone. Especially not the President.

Despite defeating Hillary and cruising into the White House with his pack of nationalist goonies, Trump has not lost sight of the fact that nobody likes him, and the country would be better off if he had lost.
He's repeatedly attacked "Crooked Hillary" (dude, seriously, what are you, five?) during his presidency. Most recently, he went off on Twitter to attack her election loss and her newest book. But Hillary had the best comeback to shut him down:

'Plaid shirt guy' wins the internet with silly faces during a Trump rally
Going viral and becoming a meme is pretty easy in the age of Trump: Just stand behind The Orange One at his rallies and — this part's key — make silly faces during his speech.
Doing so will turn all eyeballs from The Donald to you. It'll also get your removed from the rally courtesy of the Secret Service. But, worth it!
SEE ALSO: Sia's story of meeting Donald Trump on 'SNL' comes with a crappy twist ending
This is exactly what happened when Tyler Linfesty attended a Trump rally in Montana on Sept. 6. He quickly became immortalized on the internet as "Plaid Shirt Guy" after he was spotted visibly reacting to the president's words just behind his right shoulder.
So about the man in the plaid shirt standing behind Trump at his Montana rally last night who was switched out midway through. It appears the reason is that he was mocking Trump. Here he is mouthing “what?!?” in response to Trump’s ranting commentary:pic.twitter.com/XFHM5CTHri

"Some people thought I was being disrespectful – I was not planning to be disrespectful," Linfesty told ABC Fox Montana. "Some people thought I was part of a conspiracy theory, like I was planted there, my friends were planted there — I was not planted there."
Linfesty says he was just there to meet Trump, shake his hand, and take a photo with him.
"I was just there to see the president and I had my natural reactions when I thought he said something I disagreed with, I visibly disagreed," says Linfesty.
Linfesty was removed from the event mid-way through Trump's speech, after which the Secret Service asked him to leave — and not come back — according to CNN.

"I think I know why they removed me. It’s because, well before the rally they told us that ‘you have to be enthusiastic, you have to be clapping, you have to be cheering for Donald Trump,’ and I wasn’t doing that because I wasn’t enthusiastic, I wasn’t happy with what he was saying."
Whatever, man! The Internet has deemed you meme-worthy. Just look at how many people you made happy:

Kanye's new political rap wants to 'let the people talk.' Here's what they're saying.
Oh, did you think Kanye West was done grabbing attention for the week? Pfffttt.
Following the release of his new song "Lift Yourself," which may or may not have just been one big troll on poop-scooping, Kanye dropped "Ye Vs. The People." The track features rapper T.I., with the two trading verses as they discuss a more serious matter: Yeezy's unhinged tweets in support of Donald Trump.

Kanye split the internet in half earlier this week after reiterating his love for Trump. In typical Kanye-does-Kanye style, he called the president "my brother" and slammed haters for not being "free thinkers" who stay true to their own independent thoughts.
You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.

Naturally, everyone had an opinion, including John Legend who pleaded with Yeezy to not align himself with Trump's hateful and harmful policies.
Kanye's been defending himself on Twitter all week, and "Ye Vs. The People," available for streaming on Apple Music and Tidal (you can preview it below), is seemingly his latest attempt to do so.
"It's some shit you just don't align with and don't go against," T.I. raps. "You just readin' the headlines, you don't see the fine print."
To which, Kanye replies: "You on some choosin'-side shit, I'm on some unified shit" and then later continues to call out his own greatness:
The song ends with both rappers agreeing to disagree. "We could be rappin' about this all day, man, why don't we just cut the beat off and let the people talk?"
And, you better believe the people are talking. Here's a sampling of Twitter reactions:
I believe @kanyewest made a political album and predicted all the contoversy of how people were gunna react to his opinions at the same time using it as promotion, hes proving his point. Genius. - Ye vs. The People

Problem with it is he ain't doing what he says he's doing on that Ye vs. The People track. And I don't wanna hear 1 diehard kanye fan try to come for me rn talking about "no you're wrong" since kanye supposedly all about "free thinking". Let me think freely then

Lift Yourself was a troll. Ye vs The People with @Tip was actually good and has me thinking I may have overreacted a bit to Kanye's political beliefs
— Nick Damico (@TenaciousNIC) April 28, 2018
What’s great about Ye vs. The People is that he acknowledged us and gave us a voice through Tip. He could’ve just made it about himself but he knew it was bigger than that. The whole point is that we can agree to disagree and still be civil.

Kanye is the worse kind of man. He's the slave who refuses to leave the plantation because master finally let him in the house. He's the one who tells the field slaves that they need to think for themselves & give master a chance. Ye vs The People.
— Nicole (@JoyfulJoyNicole) April 28, 2018
There's also this idea he has about taking negative imagery and trying to spin around the meaning, and just confirmed on ye vs the people that's what he's trying to do with MAGA. he tried to do the same with the confederate flag on yeezus merch (wasn't very effective imo but...)
— MAY 17 (@dyndaaaa_) April 28, 2018
Don’t let Ye vs the people make you brush everything Kanye has said or done see over the past few days under the rug. He exploited his own people for a record that’s not how you sell records.

Even faster charging tech will juice phones from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes
Fact: Nobody likes waiting for their phone to charge up.
Which is why phones with Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology are so great because they can fast charge your phone in minutes.
To further widen its lead as the industry's No. 1 fast charging technology, Qualcomm has announced Quick Charge 4.0, an even faster charging technology that promises up to 20 percent faster overall charging and up to 30 percent higher power efficiency over its existing Quick Charge 3.0.
SEE ALSO: Qualcomm's new 'gigabit' LTE modem is ludicrously fast, but Wi-Fi beware
Phones powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 835 mobile chip will be able to support Quick Charge 4.0 out of the box.
A 15-minute charge will fast charge from 0 to 50 percent battery life (a rate of 3.33 percent per minute) and a five-minute charge will provide up to five hours of battery life (based on a 2,750 mAh battery; Qualcomm didn't specify what percent a five-minute charge will yield).
In comparison, Quick Charge 3.0 only fast charges up to 80 percent in 35 minutes (a rate of 2.29 percent per minute) or up to 34 percent in 15 minutes.
On top of faster charging, Quick Charge 4.0 has improved temperature optimization, which allows devices to be charged at up to 5-degrees (Celsius) cooler than with Quick Charge 3.0.
In light of recent events around the Galaxy Note7, Qualcomm says consumers are more aware about charging safety than ever before.
To allay fears with pushing more power faster at higher voltages, the company's fortified Quick Charge 4 with further safety enhancements at the cable and connector level, including over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection on the power adapter side and three levels of current protection, three levels of voltage protection and four levels of temperature protection on the mobile device end.
And in order for Quick Charge 4 to initiate, a phone that supports it will need to perform a "handshake" with certified Quick Charge power adapters (which are tested and certified by UL).
Since its launch four years ago, Quick Charge has become the industry's leading fast charging technology. It's now supported by over 100 mobile devices and over 300 mobile accessories from over 150 companies.
In a perfect world, our phones would charge up instantly, but until they do, faster Quick Charging will have to do.
