Alright, so I wrote this at least a year ago, on a phone I no longer possess, and rewrote it several months ago in a waiting room. Anyway, I have dabbled in writing verse and even music about NGE for a while, and this is the only thing I’ve put down that I finished. I even wrote music for it but I don’t feel like the tune fits.

Next to Rei, Asuka was my favorite character from NGE. Of the human Eva kids, she definitely had the most fucked-up backstory. I want to write about all the Eva kids eventually, but who knows if I will?

NOTE: This is about the Asuka in the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime and End of Evangelion. I haven’t seen the rebuilds because I’m waiting for the last one to be finished, and I don’t care that much about them anyway.

The manga was my favorite version of the story. But anyway.

Tired Eyes

And finally the fire dies, and I'm just too tired to dry these crying eyes. Fireflies dotting the southern sky, souls rise to their demise. Sick and tired from my own lies. Burning hatred behind my hazel eyes for the one reflected by the glass. The love has all run dry. My spirit tries to die. How can one man be three guys? Stay away, that's my advice. Just a word to the wise. I am madness personified. Jimmy is dark and light, Zwei switches like day and night, and Shane is our host most of the time. Keeps us safe from the world outside and its people inspiring homicide inside us. Why? This mind feels so contrived, my thoughts less than concise. Twisted up, going in blind, I don't think I'll survive this fight. No help, this war is mine. Battling monsters all the time. My weapon is verse and rhyme, lyrical musings line after line. A winner by my own design, though the world outside is not so kind. A six-string saber hangs at my side since probably the summer of 2009. At least that's about the time I discovered the sounds my two hands could define. Wood and steel intertwined caused a rhythm so divine. But lately my muse will not play nice. She shows me shoulders cold as ice. The streetlamps close up their heavy eyes, silently celebrating the conquer of one more night as finally the fire dies. At last I can turn off my weary mind and rest my ever tired eyes.

Instruments: Learned guitar during high school and got a bit more interested in playing it beyond than though I’m maybe average at best. Also got a ukelele recently which is pretty nice and BMBLB works pretty well on it I think cause it sounds nice and happy ;) (also it’s eternally frustrating being a left-handed guitarist since you can’t just pick up someone else’s guitar to show off unless they also happen to be left handed lol)

Languages: Pretty much just English. Spanish was mandatory for a couple years in high school but I wasn’t very good at it and unfortunately don’t remember much of it.

Now that a new gift of Triforce of Power is out it's time for another fan audio of @nayru-s-clay-tablet for @mcaquila and everyone to enjoy. This year we had our last splatfest for Splatoon 3 and I'm glad I get the experience to playing with @magical-game, @zwei-the-penguin-with-a-pen, and @talasdoodles (By the way that's me and @magical-game winning our 100X Battle) I'm glad we all get to experience playing our favorite games this year. Island

Stranded inside my mind, marooned in this Pacific and I’ve lost sight of the shoreline. No, I am not fine, even though that’s my usual headline. My sanity has red-lined, my patience far past its deadline. This ocean is cold and grim, and my prospects are looking slim. How the fuck can I get off this island if I never learned to swim? Sink below and maybe find a cave beneath the sea, where I can hear the waves and finally have some privacy away from all these things I see. They all threaten to murder me. This place is a nightmare that I cannot escape. The worst part of it is when I realize that I’m awake. Am I a fake? Just a robot with a human face? If I pull the trigger will all of this be erased? Erase me, replace me. Take me away for my own safety. I can’t, because I have to look after the one who made me. Am I really all that she has left? The other one curses her breath. Their raging hurts inside my chest and makes me long for the embrace of death. Will my own demise release the stress? Can my suffering be over yet? Please? Can I be happy now? Craving a brief reprieve from everything that drags me down. Set it all on fire. Let’s pretend like I’m the dragon now! My descriptive powers are nonexistent. My happiness is not consistent. Self doubt and rage make all my small problems seem monolithic. I might be masochistic. Perhaps the pain gets me lifted. If that’s the case, how do I shift It? I need to fucking fix this if I want to get out alive. But is that my desire? My sanity will fuel the fire beneath my own funeral pyre. Alone, I’m lost and drowning within these thoughts surrounding me. The shore is lost to me, somewhere beyond the horizon. No boats or life preservers, so how do I get off this island??

But now Squid Sisters are Team Past, and Team Present is Off the Hook and Deep Cut will be Team Future.
