Time for some Kaiju action for today's #SundaySciFi flick. Came across this beauty on @tubi entitled Zillafoot. Here is the synopsis:

"A UFO lands on Earth, unleashing a giant creature that is half lizard and half gorilla. As the monster decimates any military response, scientists and members of an elite squad race to save humanity from inevitable disaster."

Based on the opening, is this movie is part of the same world as other kaiju movies such as Raiga, Gappa, Konga, Reigo and Ohga? Man, the opening montage was first class compared to the acting that followed it. 🤣🤣🤣 I just want to see what Zillafoot looks like.

That movie was really something else, lol

Like with many ultra low budget movies, this one also dragged on sometimes, but it was entertaining enough to watch until the end. A much better effort than the disappointing “Zillafoot” from Anthony Polonia (though Zillafoot being a stinker is not his fault - apparently there was some trouble with payment, so half the movie consist of some amateur YouTube videos from fans which definitely dragged on way too long). Konga TNT was made by Brett Kelly, who also created movies like “Rise of The Black Bat” and “Captain USA - The Iron Soldier”, both of which I actually own on Blu-Ray.
