This manhwa is about a Korean university student reincarnated into a novel as an extra, Ripley De Liverpool, a count-only daughter. She plans to just live on as an extra and enjoy her luxurious life, but somehow she catches the eyes of the male lead of the novel, Zeronis De Inglid.

I love everything about this manhwa. I had read a lot of romance manhwa but this one is my number one. the art of this manhwa is beautiful to me. I didn't notice it the first time I read them but the gown that the character wears looks simple as in not much of diamonds or accessories but they are gorgeous. The next thing that I love about this manhwa is the character for example the novel original heroine, Etoile De Harley. Some of the manhwa that I had read make the original heroine to be a pest in the couple's love story, but with Etoile, she not just an original heroine who somehow Ripley befriends, she is someone who has a passion for things and has personality.

The character that has the biggest influence on me is both the main character, Ripley De Liverpool and Zeronis De Inglid. Ripley is someone who becomes carefree after being reincarnated. in her past life. Because of something that happened in her past life, she became scared to accept Zeronis's heart, going as far as to try to set up Zeronis with the original heroine, Etoile. but alas, they still got married and even had children together. Ripley taught me that I shouldn't let my past control my future, I should move forward and understand why it happened and maybe it isn't my false it happened. Zeronis actually an interesting character in my point of view. He is Potrat at first exactly how he was Potrat in the novel, ruthless, cold, and mad, to simplify straight-up red flag. but as the story progresses, his red flag kind of being erased bit by bit, not because I'm color blind. The more time he spent with Ripley, he was forced to learn a lot of emotions he missed out on, desped, anxiety, sadness, obviously happiness, and a lot more. Zeronis taught me how important communication is so you don't lose someone precious to you.

This manhwa is a completed series where I would rate them 10/10. honestly, the rate can't even cover how much I love this manhwa as a romance manhwa.

First Night with the Duke / I took the Male Lead’s First Night

Pretty sure I just happened to stumble across this on WEBTOON and it looked super cute so I read it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this story so much. Was on a bit of a novel isekai manhwa binge recently and this is definitely one of my top ones. I love how meta it is sometimes and the fact that it is an isekai actually has pretty major plot relevance, which is nice. Mostly romance/comedy but the moments of angst are also beautifully written.

Summary All ya girl wanted to do was munch popcorn and watch from the sidelines as an extra while the main leads of the novel fell in love blah blah blah. But then soju shots. ( drink responsibly kids ) So oops, they did the thing and now (kind of) obsessive ML’s target changed. She’s ~*not like other girls*~ she’s MUCH DUMBER. oh no Good luck *insert name here*! (I’m not even joking we never find out her OG name)

Tropes   - isekai-ed but I’m just an extra!??!?   - oops got drunk and slept with the ML   - what do you mean I’ve drastically changed the plot the original FL and ML definitely still belong together   - remember kids, always drink alcohol in moderation   - love at first slap   - and then they COMMUNICATED omg they ~*COMMUNICATED*~   - original character and isekai character actually meet

FL - Ripley de Liverpool (but not really)

- Ripley no RIPLEY: YES - queen of soju cocktail bombs (because manhwa) - runaway bride speedrun any% - her single brain cell is unfortunately usually kept with her loyal maid - precious cinnamon roll has never done anything wrong ever - BFFs with the original FL, you love to see it

ML - Zeronis de Inglid

- yes it’s a blonde hair blue eyed DUKE - not a ~tyrant~ but *slightly* possessive - of course he had a ~traumatic childhood~ - ok if some of his initial actions seem a bit iffy there actually is ~character development/growth~ - most *HANDSOME* man IN THE KINGDOM according to literally everyone apparently - BFFs with a puppy, aka the original 2nd ML - richer than you’ll ever be

Maid-sama - Sylvia

Have to give her a special mention because she’s the only sane one of the 3 people that appear the most. I don’t know how she manages Ripley and Zeronis’s maximum romcom chaos but she definitely DESERVES A RAISE

Rating:  Loved this so much I spent real life money well basically just spent WEBTOON coins catching up to the last few chapters and currently spending coincs on the ongoing side story Status (as of 23 May 2022) Main storyline complete and free to read on WEBTOON First side-story still ongoing. And it seems like it’ll hit double digits just on this one sequel arc. Not sure if there will be more.

Zeronis is such a romantic Yandere. With his mom, dad and older brothers dead I’m not sure who, if anyone, ever gave this kid the sex talk but I wouldn’t be surprised if he got his ideas from romance novels or something because he clearly has some rather unique ideas about the topic.

“What is with your reaction? Do I look like a horny beast who sleeps around with just anyone?” He’s so offended by the notion that he’s some kind of slut. To Zeronis, it seems sex is only something you do with someone you want to marry. He hasn’t even known Ripley a full 24 hours but one night together and he basically considers them already engaged.

Using such a base and vulgar word as ‘fuck’ in the same sentence as his beloved Ripley probably activates his stabbing reflex.
