Oh boy do I have more ideas, I've been thinking about a Baldur's Gate 3 AU since I finished my first playtrhough (I'm currently on my fifth)

I mainly have ideas about Yuji, Megumi, Gojo and Geto so I'm gonna share those

Yuji, as I've said, would be a warlock with Sukuna as his patron, I think that, much like in canon, he made a pact with him so that he could have the power to protect someone and he doesn't regret making the pact because it makes him able to fight and help those in need, but he definitely hates Sukuna himself

Also I know in bg3 the Flaming Fists are the city guards and it's the entire group's name, but I love the idea of having Yuji in this AU being known as the "Flaming Fist" sort of like Wyll is the "Blade of Frontiers", maybe he could start out with monk as his primary class (I've played a monk in my second playthrough and my God I loved punching everyone) and later on become a warlock because of Sukuna

For Megumi the obvious choice would be for him to be a wizard with the Ten Shadows being the various familiars he can summon through the find familiar spell, but I also love the idea of him being a druid with the Ten Shadows being his available wild shapes (and I also love the idea of him gaining access to spells like animal friendship, speak with animals and dominate beast)

Specifically, I think he should be a druid of the Circle of the Moon since they're more specialized in wild shaping and gain access to combat wild shape, which I think would suit him quite well

Gojo and Geto I have to put them together, of course I do, and they were actually the first characters I got an idea about when I started thinking about this AU

Just imagine: Satoru as a cleric of Selûne and Suguru as a cleric of Shar, both their Deities' chosen ones and destined to be enemies

They met the first time when they were fairly young and somehow ended up falling in love despite everything, meeting in secrets for years without ever telling anyone, until one day Shar finds out and takes away Suguru's memories of Satoru (sort of like how she does with Shadowheart about her parents). Satoru doesn't know at first, how could he? He only knows that Suguru stopped showing up at their usual spot to meet up, and when they do somehow end up meeting later on... Well. Suguru doesn't remember him anymore. Satoru is just another enemy in the midst of many others

I could very well envision Satoru trying everything he can to give Suguru back his memories, but every time he gets too close to getting his Suguru back Shar intervenes and renders all his attempts null. She doesn't want to risk losing her chosen one after all, especially not to a follower of her sister

Maybe they'd eventually get a happy ending, maybe they won't, I haven't thought that far out yet but they're definitely stuck in this constant loop of Satoru trying his hardest until Suguru almost gets his memories back before Shar gets in the way

I haven't thought much about other characters tbh but Maki could definitely be a battle master fighter Lae'zel-style, and maybe Panda could also be a druid but of the Circle of the Land unlike Megumi who's part of the Circle of the Moon

Also Mahito is definitely a follower/the chosen of Bhaal Orin-style, I think it'd fit him pretty well

Suguru: Gayass (for Satoru. Only for Satoru). Like Satoru, he could be aromantic (their relationship goes beyond mortal understanding)

Yuta: Straight and asexual. I can't picture this guy having sex I'm sorry

Inumaki: Aromantic!!! Sorry, Yuta x Inumaki shippers

Maki: Aromantic lesbian. She just SCREAMS that to me yk. Could maybe be in smth like a qpr w Yuta and Nobara if she'd survived and if they were a little more mentally stable

Nobara: Lesbian. This is basically canon c'mon. Has a one-sided crush on Maki

Shoko: Also lesbian but not that interested in romance (not aro)

Nanami: Aroace. Had a silly crush on Haibara but it went away pretty quickly

Haibara: Bisexual, leaning towards men

Mei Mei: Idk, maybe aro?? I can't picture her in a relationship. She just uses people and maybe has sex with them if it benefits her

Megumi: Pansexual. He doesn't get why people prefer a specific appearance for their lovers, he just likes the people he likes and that's it

Itadori: Bisexual, leaning towards women

Utahime: Demi. Has a crush on Shoko, Shoko has no idea

Sukuna: He doesn't know what a sexuality is

Kenjaku: This fucker is willing to fuck anyone, but she doesn't fall in love with them — even if he does prefer some over others and ends up liking them a little bit. Bonus: Gender fluid!!!!!! Or something!! Idk he has some weird gender fuckery going on

Toji: Straight. I wish this man was gay but he's not. Straight as FUCK

Riko: She didn't have a chance to figure it out

Mai: Lesbian, like THE most lesbian of lesbians... closeted though, and has some insane homophobia

“Fine,” Maki relents. “I’ll be done for now.” “Yay!” Nobara stands up straight, just to grab Maki’s hands and drag her up as well. She’s dressed in rose-patterned pajama pants and a faded t-shirt, hair still slightly damp from a shower. Her skin almost glows in the evening light, and before she can say another word, Maki leans forward, closing the distance between them to connect their lips in a kiss. It’s clumsy, with the way Nobara is grinning into it, but it’s perfect all the same.

Once again, @mana-jjk inspires me with her analysis of Toge. She reminded me of his harmless pranks, like the one where he steals Maki's skirt— And she doesn't seem to care that much, right.

So I've been having a silly headcanon, dancing around in my mind.

I usually headcanon Toge as trans, not in a binary way though— He mostly uses he/him and they/them pronouns in my mind, but is very much close to the genderfluid label. A bit of pangender and agender at the same time, if we had to use some other labels. He's all and nothing, his gender fits his moods and outfits, he's Toge, that's it.

But what if? What if it didn't cross his mind before the school (it didn't, it was still there but he'd think "That means I'm a guy" when he's never been one, at least not entirely)? What if the first time he gets to break gender norms is by stealing Maki's skirt?

He keeps staring at it, wondering, and when Panda teases him about it (thinking Toge is having other thoughts, or probably knowing he doesn't yet still teasing), Toge shakes his head. Fish flakes.

So Panda tilts his head to the side, deep in thought, and then— "Wanna prank Maki?" And it's the perfect excuse.

Toge nods. Salmon.

The first time he steals Maki's skirt and puts it on, it feels... weird. They're not the same height or size, Maki's hips are slightly wider than his— But then, Toge convinces himself it's just for the prank. Panda loves pranks, he loves Panda and pranks are funny.

Maki doesn't find it funny, though, just annoying; she rolls her eyes at them, calls them stupid and childish (in a typical "Boys are stupid" fashion she's learnt in elementary school), and flicks Toge's forehead as she walks past him. She doesn't even ask for her skirt back... which seems obvious, since she probably has a spare.

So Toge doesn't take it off right away.

He walks around the hallways dressed like this, feels the wind on his calves, and twirls to watch the pretty movements the skirt does. He does this the rest of the afternoon, until the sun goes down and Maki taps his shoulder with a pout. Oh. She wants it back.

So Toge follows her to her room, waits until she invites him in, and doesn't look around in case she doesn't want him to— But her closet has a glassdoor on the inside. He sees his reflection and, when Maki isn't looking, slowly lifts up his shirt until the waistband of the skirt is visible.

It's slightly too big. It doesn't fall prettily on his hips. Still, he likes it.

Behind him, from the corner of her eye, Maki watches Toge as he shyly admires his reflection. She'd seen that look before— On Mai, every time they'd get new clothes she felt really fit her.

Maki doesn't get Inumaki a lot, but she gets him in that specific moment. He does look pretty in a skirt.
