Since Rei's representing animal is a rabbit, I just said: "hey, let's draw her and Zen as rabbits then!" So, I present to you... clockwork rabbit (although, he is more of a hare parading as a rabbit. I know that it's just Zen in the drawing, but Zen is epic.)

It's kind of an old drawing, but I was really proud of it at the time, so... I'm sharing it.

I had this silly what if of the shido palace boat scene where ryuji is in the middle of life and death and meets zen and rei but i have to scrap it for now since i forgor what the story is 😔

as a treat for me and my wife @rexidot i decided to redesign Zen and Rei from Persona Q a bit. while I love em normally, their designs always felt a bit bland in my opinion. i liked the idea from a lot of their concept art that they were sorta meant to be each others halves?

rexy had the idea they split eye color when Rei doesn't have her memories so i had to incorporate that, and it just spiraled out of control from there

tried to make Zen more top-heavy and Rei more bottom heavy? might've gone a lil too monster high-esque on the shoes...but i like it :)

**persona 3 spoilers**

ryoji on the nature of life

after having drawn my previous comic, the way rivers flow to the sea, and how the sea evaporates into rain to restart the cycle made me think of something.

The Avatamsaka Sutra seems to explore the idea that all beings are equal - that universe itself is no different from a single entity, and that it is the mind brings together the universe and the universe is you. That goes with what's happened in the final battle of P3 and how the protagonist brought forth the universe arcana. I'm no expert on it, so I'm not sure if this explanation of it is entirely accurate, but it seemed it could align with how things go in P3 and the persona universe

and I wanted to see ryoji say life's very precious and support it. That's what he'd say for sure!
