At first the question had seemed so innocent. The conversation had given no signs that Celine was asking anything that would have upset her. But she saw the clear change in the other, the way she looked like a deer in the headlights and scurrying for anyway to answer the question without drawing more attention to it. Her lips parted, and Celine almost asked what was wrong and what had happened? However, she stopped herself and her own mind flashed back to her own job and how she hated people asking why she had switched from interior design to becoming an assistant. Some things were meant to stay buried in the past. "What was your job before?" Celine asked instead, settling on making her voice casual so Zehra would think she got away with it. She smiled, happy to hear the other would vote for her boss and not just because she was being nice. "I'll take that as a win then." She chuckled. Really, the more she thought about it, the better the idea sounded. "I think you just convinced me. Okay let me give you my work number and we can get in touch about this. I can help organize it if you start it off. And then we can get involved and it will help his upcoming campaign." Pulling out her phone, she pulled up the contacts app. It really was the best solution. Zehra could still go through the proper channels, but in the mean time they'd organize their own grassroots act.

Zehra hadn't realized that the 'more so now' had escaped her lips until the other questioned her. She felt her cheeks flush though she turned her head, hoping that she could explain enough without confessing all her secrets; she swallowed the knot forming in her throat before she returned her attention to the other. "Yeah, I'm just in a better position to do so now then I was before." she added. "A better job; I feel like I'm actually helping people where as before I wasn't." she admitted. She'd had several 'dead end' jobs in her lifetime, and while being a party planner had been fun it wasn't typically very fulfilling in regards to her desire to help people in need. She'd leave out the part where she hadn't felt she needed to help people in need until her parents unfortunate death; that wasn't important. She was thankful to hear the other speak about voting for her boss, allowing her to nod. "I definitely plan to." she admitted. "And not just because I'm talking to his assistant." she winked. She truly thought the guy was doing a great job as mayor and while she didn't know him as well as the other obviously did, she felt he was genuinely a guy that deserved to be in office. The other's idea of the water seemed to spark an interest in both ladies and Zehra felt herself smile which radiated into her eyes. "Oh, that's actually a brilliant idea!" she nodded. "Obviously I'll get the water supply started, and even keep it stocked up if he can't make time to take it over, but if we can get the mayor on board to maybe help out financially I think it'll be fantastic." she nodded. "And like you said, it'll make him look even better and who wouldn't want to use that as a campaign pitch. It's honestly the best kind of publicity." @celineediz

It is amazing to just watch two performers being so so so good at what they do. I’ve been trying to be spoiler free with my posts so I won’t be specific but god, that scene between Marion and Jean at the end of the second episode was on another level. I’ve documented my love for Luis on here before, you don’t have to scroll too far to find the clip I posted from LA By Night that made me fall in love with him in the first place. But this is the first thing I’ve ever seen Zehra Fazal in anything and she has quickly joined the list of amazing performers that I adore. I’ve been going feral for Sean Finnerty, but Zehra’s performance as Jean has been absolutely phenomenal and I’m gonna have to look for other things she’s done cuz I’m gonna need more after this.

And just, coming out of that scene and both Brennan and Marisha being like “oh fuck, wait what, shit we rolled oh god I don’t know what I was doing before, I forgot we were still playing” because of how enrapturing that scene between Luis and Zehra was? That’s so real cuz I felt it too, like I legit forgot about everything else going on, and Spenser speaking up again was truly like the breaking of a spell bringing me back to the rest of the show.

She's late but Carmen ignores it, because she'll always believe she's never late for anything that matters. This matters. A small voice creeps into her thoughts. Zehra invited you weeks ago. Carmen frowns, slipping into the seat by her sister as some Vegan shoe wearing hipster's voice drones through the mic. "Sorry." she offers Zehra quietly, already clutching her drink she ensured she had time to get at the bar. And another as a gesture of goodwill that she slides over the table. "You didn't tell me we had a table at the front, Zee. We're easy pickings. A Turk and a Latina? All we need now is a Priest." she comments, her voice picking up slightly above the general atmosphere which is when the comedian's words teeter off. Sorry am I interrupting something? Carmen's eyes shift from Zehra to the stage, and she blinks as laughter bubbles through the room. "You really don't want to do this with me." she waves a hand at him, laughter scattering again.

Zehra sighed softly as she ran a hand through her hair. Looking over at her best friend, Violet, she gave her an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to sound harsh. Work had been stressful, and dealing with a difficult client didn't help matters. "I know you're just worried about me, and you're right." The architect agreed. Wanting to meet a complete stranger did sound insane. "How about you come with me? You could sit not too far from us in the restaurant, and if it's troublesome, can you come and rescue me? He does sound like a decent guy, but like you said, people do lie on dating apps, even if I don't," Zehra knew how men acted; of course, they could die to get her alone and do unthinkable things to her. "If it turns out bad, we could enjoy a meal on his behalf."

"Ouch. Come on you don't mean that," Violet winced as she clutched at her chest. "Can't your best friend be concerned about your well-being? Especially when you're being down right crazy in wanting to meet someone you've never met. Could be a murderer or married with kids for all you know just leading you on. Everybody lies on those damn dating apps. I don't want to see you hurt and disappointed," she huffed.

i should've known the calamity crew would put on a helluva show, but holy shit candela obscura ch 2 was SO MUCH FUN

brennan is a menace. i'm obsessed with him. he's like ashley's character on crack. in fact, i need ashley to guest star as auggie so i can see sean and auggie together. just two new york newsie boys who kick ass and take names.

zehra was unfamiliar to me before this but she is 1) stunningly beautiful and 2) has the most haunting, enchanting voice i've ever heard. i feel like a sailor being drawn into tumultuous waters by a siren. i love her.

travis i'm so proud of you for sticking through the spooky stuff after the opening scene was literally a floating head who attacked and killed a man. i also love that he's fjord, if fjord was a librarian. respect.

here once again to scream and shout about candela obscura.

first of all, i LOVE that people are shouting at tbe table. I LOVE IT. its a lot different to the normal table and it's just the difference of it all. from marion (luis) screaming 'no' at the end of episode 1 to Sean (brennan) shouting at auntie bee. impeccable. really conveys the emotion of it all.

second, jean (zehra) rping as her father and that DESCRIPTION? i loved it so much. it was amazing, like I could actually see him in my head.

these are just two of the things that stuck out to me but if i continued, i would not stop.

Finally catching up on the second half of Candela Obscura, Chpt 2, Episode 1, and while of course all of this chapter's cast are incredible, I am just so incredibly impressed by Zehra as Dr. Jean. Whether she's RP-ing dialogue, or describing her character's movements and state of mind, she is absolutely arresting. I literally cannot take my eyes off of her. So delighted to have been introduced to her through this!

Além da pista, há áreas lounge confortáveis onde os visitantes podem relaxar, com sofás de cores diversas próximo de mesas decoradas onde são convidados a saborear os drinks coloridos e saborosos com efeitos diferentes enquanto criam bons momentos em seu grupo de amigos. Às quartas-feiras, um palco é colocado no espaço e Ginger organiza uma noites de talentos, onde qualquer um pode subir ao palco e mostrar suas habilidades mais incríveis! Aproveitem o espaço e compartilhem seus talentos secretos com os outros. | Vagas para bartenders em aberto!

Os simples alcóolicos e não alcóolicos estão disponíveis todos os dias, mas para quem quiser tentar algum efeito diferente, existem alguns drinks mágicos de um lugar que tem o objetivo de ser o mais divertido de todos também:

Energia explosiva: Drink espumante que dá uma explosão de energia para dançar a noite toda. Efeito dura 1 hora.

Coragem de regente: Drink com um toque cítrico que dá coragem espontânea para a pessoa que beber. Efeito dura 30 minutos.

Riso maluco: Drink com bolhas coloridas que faz até as piadas mais bobas parecerem hilárias para quem bebeu. Efeito dura 20 minutos.

Confiança máxima: Drink doce que faz com que qualquer um se sinta o centro das atenções. Efeito dura 45 minutos.

Memória Curta: Drink de frutas que faz quem beber esquecer momentaneamente o que acabou de ouvir. Efeito dura 15 minutos.

Voz da paixão: Drink de frutas vermelhas com toque picante que dá àquele que beber uma voz encatada que o torna extremamente atraente para quem ouvir. Efeito dura 30 minutos.

Mestre da dança: Drink um pouco amargo, mas necessário para aqueles que querem se divertir na dança, mas acreditam que não dançam bem. Efeito dura pelo tempo de três músicas.
