So about a year ago, I started this Mewtwo style study, drawing some of the babytwos from members of the amazing commewnity, as well as some other characters from artists I greatly enjoy. Kappa, as a kangaskhan fusion, has natural motherly instincts and attracts children.

I tried to keep the proportions and shapes as accurate as possible to study as many designs and details as possible.

Okay, combining current hyperfixation with current interest cuz that's always a fun thing to do.

Ben 10,,, but with Pokemon!!!! I'm not thinking like, Pokemon that represent some of Ben's aliens tho. First thought instead is that Ben has a Ditto as his main Pokemon and maybe gets a Zorua down the line. Can't recall any other Pokemon good at transforming that isn't Mew and that one seems a bit much to give him, lol.

Also probably Gwen with an Espurr to start since it's a cat and would represent the Lucky Girl thing nicely. And an Elgyem later on to match the Anodite angle since Elgyem is considered an alien.

Can't quite think of anything for Kevin, but Lycanroc to represent Zed way later on would be nice. But I'm thinking a grass type at least, maybe, since they have a lot of absorption type moves to match his Osmosians powers. Perhaps a Kecleon could even work? Since it's ability can let it change type to match Kevin's ability to absorb and become different materials.

Grandpa Max might not have a Pokemon other than something that used to be his Pokemon partner in his Plumber days and now acts a house pet. Don't know if he'd bring it on the road trip with him, but it could be present later on when Bellwood becomes the main setting.

So anyway, I was thinking Ben and Gwen don't have Pokemom to start and Ben meets Ditto sorta like how he got the Omnitrix. Ditto won't leave him and keeps following him cuz it's being hunted by Vilgax, who serves as the main antagonist and has a villain team like in all the Pokemon games. And Gwen gets Espurr around the same time as meeting Charmcaster(who maybe has a Gothita or the evolution?) and the two become rivals.

And as the Tennyson's travel around the region on their trip, Ben fights the same characters he does in canon, but some of them are gym leaders, some are villains in Vilgax's team or just solo bad guys, and some aliens are strange Pokemon encounters(like the Loch Ness monster being a Gyarados instead).

I also like the idea of Azmuth still being a Galvan, so maybe there's still the usual aliens around, but perhaps they're considered Pokemon instead(some B10 aliens would make good Pokemon anyway). But at the same time, maybe some characters, like Vilgax, are human instead. And like, Ben's Ditto is the only Ditto, made by Azmuth and it's like, a whole big thing that a Pokemon became smart enough to dabble in science like Azmuth does and that's why Vilgax wants it. I dunno.

So. Here you guys go. That's all I got, just tossing out fun ideas.

@sylphwriter I know this is hella obvious recommendation coming from me but honestly if you ARE gonna watch any idol/singing show first, I suggest starting with Uta no Prince-sama because it’s literally THE trailblazer that started it all. I have yet to encounter anything that has topped this one in terms of how well they wrote the main heroine, plus everyone in the cast is AMAZING. And the songs will just warm your heart ^^! ((AND SEASON 4 WILL DESTROY YOU 8D)) You know I don’t kid around when it comes to feels lol. Currently I got my friend Wraith10 (abridged Ryoga Kamishiro in ZEXAL Abridged) to watch it and he is in love with it 8D! 

ALSO if you want to definitely have your hear shattered while also enjoying some hella good action, greek mythology, and adventure I recommend my other beloved show Saint Seiya Omega. I love the original Saint Seiya but I think if this is your first exposure to this classic franchise, I think thas a good place to start. I like Omega because the female cast is much stronger, they actually give bigger roles to the women (back in the day we didn't have female Gold Saints- which is the highest rank warrior status in this world & Omega has multiple) And IF you’re like me & you like Tokyo Mew Mew, the show was written by Reiko Yoshida! And she is a wonderful storyteller! I think you’d like it :D Also it gets hella dark hella fast and I love it @u@

RECOMMENDATION 3: Kaleido Star. I dunno if you like Cirque du Solei or circuses but this show 8D IS ANOTHER EMOTTTTIOOONAL ROLLERCOASTER. Like , it looks happy at first but gosh diddly darn I can SAFELY say that THIS is the anime I have rewatched THE most in my entire life. honestly I might rewatch it again XD ahaha its just THAT good. It’s so heartfelt and sincere & it makes you wanna reach for all your dreams! I haven’t called anything perfect but to me, Kaleido Star is the one anime that can do no wrong & I see a lotta myself in the main character Sora Naegino. She a blessing.

And my 4th recommendation is  THE VERY UNDERRATED Kiba. Honestly if you like YuGiOh ZEXAL, I REALLY think you’d like Kiba! The main character Zed & his spirit beast Amir Gaal has a similar partner dynamic  to Yuma and Astral. But it’s like an older & more mature version of Yuma. You basically follow Zed a troubled kid in a dangerous neighborhood who has a lotta inner turmoil cuz his mom is in the hospital with an unknown medical condition, and  he also struggles with learning what is freedom. One day when he is being chased by the cops, he suddenly finds a portal to another world. The world he is in now is a magical land where people fight using “spirit beasts” and he goes on a CRAZY adventure. (this one has a LOTTA feeeeeeels too. Like, there was one side story that scarred me for life 8D IT WAS AWESOME....but still Im scarred lol.) The ending was so emotional for me. I’m sad more people don’t know about this hidden gem of a show.

Filled with mega energy, Zed comes out of Kappa’s pouch to aid in battle!! He’s still blind, but uses the excess psychic energy flowing through him to see.

But that doesn’t mean Kappa is any less protective of Zed.

The Worlds Only Ned Flanders Metal Band - OKILLY DOKILLY - Release New Single - Announce New Album, Tour

Have you experienced the world’s only Nedal band? If not, I’m about to rock your world. Okilly Dokilly has been around for a few years now but the last year has been one of growth for the “all Ned Flanders” metal band. Their first album Howdilly Doodilly got folks attention but their new release – aptly titled Howdilly Twodilly may well be the one that tips the scales for our mustached rockers. They’ve released their first single Bulletproof Glass – have a listen.

Everything about the band is Ned Flanders based. Band wise we got Head Ned (lead vocals, guitars, mandolin), Dread Ned (drums), Shred Ned (guitar, vocals), Bed Ned (bass) and Zed Ned (synth, vocals). The new album hit on March 29th. 11 tracks – here’s the listing:

Random Pokemon Thoughts

As of where the franchise is now, these are the characters (includes specific incarnations of specific characters) who can be classified as “Pure Evil”. As in they personally showcase no sincerely decent or redeemable qualities whatsoever, their crimes are selfishly motivated and beyond the pale, and their likelihood of redemption is virtually 0.

And there are some interesting notes and parallels I can make here:

- The four Cipher leaders, the Iron Mask Marauder, and DPA!Charon all share in common that they turn Pokemon into Shadow Pokemon (well in the former’s case, it was just turning them into Dark Pokemon instantaneously via Dark Balls, but that was pretty much the predecessor to the Shadow Pokemon concept.) 

- The Iron Mask Marauder, Purple Eyes, IO, and DPA!Charon all betrayed or had plans to betray the organizations they worked for.

- Manga!Agatha, Anime!Cyrus, Purple Eyes, and Volo are all Omnicidal Maniacs who planned to wipe out whole populations.

- Manga!Agatha, Anime!Cyrus, DPA!Charon, Manga!Marcus, Manga!Ghetsis, and Generations!Ghetsis are all cases of Adaptational Villainy compared to their source material depictions.

- Purple Eyes, Ghetsis, Volo, and Dr. Zed are all villains where just how pure evil they truly were was not revealed from the offset. (The first two start off bad but we gradually find out they’re even worse than initially presented, while the latter two start off pretending to be nice only to eventually drop the face and show they’re anything but.)

- The Iron Mask Marauder, MD!Darkrai, DPA!Charon, IO, and Ghetsis all have aspirations to impose a tyrannical rule upon the world (”Take over the world!” is usually reserved for Team Rocket.)

- Ein, Dr. Yung, DPA!Charon, IO, Chancellor Alva, and Dr. Zed are all mad scientists or have otherwise directly worked with evil science.

- Manga!Agatha, IO, Ghetsis, Chancellor Alva, and Volo have manipulated and abused human children in very despicable ways.

- The four Cipher Leaders, Manga!Agatha, Dr. Yung, Sird, MD!Darkrai, Anime!Cyrus, Hunter J, Grings Kodai, DPA!Charon, Ghetsis, and Chancellor Alva have all ordered or even directly engaged in particularly nasty forms of torture of Pokemon.

- Manga!Agatha, Ardos, Sird, Purple Eyes, Hunter J, DPA!Charon, Ghetsis, Volo, and All Movie Villains have all made relatively small scale, close-and-personal, brutal homicide attempts.

- The Iron Mask Maraduer, Dr. Yung, MD!Darkrai, Grings Kodai, Manga!Ghetsis, Chancellor Alva, and Dr. Zed have all successfully committed murder or something akin to murder (victim count in order: Celebi, Mirage Mew, countless NPC Pokemon, Zoruark, Black and countless NPC Unovans, Magearna, and Coco’s human parents) 

- The Iron Mask Marauder, Dr. Yung, Ardos, Hunter J, Grings Kodai, Chancellor Alva, and Dr. Zed all commit their crimes on very secluded, self-contained scales, but those crimes stand out as being completely inexusable and motivated purely by greed and/or pride.

- Both Manga!Marcus and Volo have some fixation on Arceus, want to kill or supplant it, and to play God for the sake of doing so.

- Ghetsis really is the quintissential Pure Evil Bastard here, huh?

-  And lastly, how fucking bizarre is it that the first ever Pure Evil villain to grace the franchise was an incarnation of the Kanto Elite Four’s Agatha? That’s almost as strange to me as that Agatha’s unexplained disappearance in that manga that was never addressed!

Bonzo’s parents don’t know about Cadenza (partly because he doesn’t think they’d let him have a cat and partly because they probably wouldn’t treat her well) so he’s constantly finding ways to keep her out of their way

He takes her with him wherever he goes

And if he can’t for whatever reason, Bree, Zed or Eliza will take care of her for him

He demands they send him pictures as often as possible

He introduced Cadenza to Bree as their daughter

Bree’s reaction was to just gently gasp “oh, I love her…!”, carefully take her from him and start baby-talking to her. Cadenza mewed and put her paw on Bree’s glasses. Both Bree and Bonzo were in complete awe of how adorable it was

Bree loves babysitting Cadenza and sends Bonzo all the best pictures (including selfies of her and Cadenza cuddling)

Cadenza sits on Bonzo’s shoulders a lot or lies around his neck

He insists Zombie-tongue is her first language so when the others talk to her in English he translates it all to Zombie for her

Eliza thinks this is weird so he translates absolutely everything into Zombie for Cadenza when Eliza’s around just to annoy her

He sneaks her into school with him

He echoes her mews and stims with her fur
