i feel like his mind would go into overdrive thinking of all the places he could take you, what he could wear, if what he’s wearing is broad enough that’ll it’ll match whatever you choose to wear… man is ten steps ahead of everyone including himself lmao. he wouldn’t be able to control his genuine infatuation with you when his frontal lobe keeps telling him “have more rizz” “have more rizz.” and his brain is completely jumbled by the time he actually picks you up.

i think matthew would most certainly try to make some witty remark to distract himself from the fact that you’re genuinely the prettiest girl he’s ever seen. quite literally making his heart stop. the joke however goes completely over your head and your left staring at him doe-eyed, making the situation even harder for him than he thought possible. he’ll definitely try to laugh it off, but finds himself laughing wayyy more than he should be, to the point where even you know something up?

matthew just needs some reassurance, some confidence to remind him that everything’s alright! a date with someone you like goes both ways right? if you take his hand gently and let him know that you’re a bit nervous too, but you know everything’s gonna be ok. he’ll let out the biggest sigh of relief and finally start to be himself once his anxieties calm down.

that is, until you go on your next date together, because i can guarantee he acts like this before every date you have.

some more angles to answer a question some people might have, like "HOW DID YOU EVEN GET THOSE WINGS TO FIT ON HIS BODY" (a few people asked me that lol. or at least one person did. i think a second person--ANYWAY)

answer: curve the wings out A LOT away from the body and give them tiny bases

BONUS: I HAD TOO MUCH FUN AND FORGOT THE ASSIGNMENT WAS ACTUALLY TO CREATE A BUST (HEAD AND SHOULDERS), NOT A WHOLE BODY, AND I DIDN'T KNOW HOW PEDANTIC MY PROFESSOR WOULD BE, SO I MADE THIS VERSION TOO

i wish i remembered to include his collarbone and some neck muscles. it would have been even more cursed

(more bonus info: i'm new-ish to the program we're using [ZBrush], so i didn't realize there's a torus -- a ring -- object i could have used for the halo. so i squashed a sphere and tried to cut a circle out from the center, but the program didn't cooperate. so i instead gave him a semi-halo thing lol)

WIP sculpt. The soldiers of the Transcendent Technocracy enter battle with their torsos exposed in hopes that their weak flesh will be destroyed, allowing them to receive augmentation as early as possible. If a medic does not get to them in time, well, that is the price of martyrdom.
