lobotomygate is when the official bait twitter made a post about it being 12 years since castiel’s introduction to supernatural and getting immediately set upon by a ton of w*ncest freaks on twitter for that one innocuous tweet celebrating 12 years of queerbaiting. because of that, i posted this image:

because lobotomies are funny. and then all hell broke loose and freaks from all walks of life on twitter descended upon us like a swarm of locusts saying how we were 1. genuinely and seriously threatening their physical wellbeing, 2. homophobes, 3. little f*gs who should kill ourselves. all in all it gained a LOT of traction for baitpod and pushed us over 13,000 listeners! but it also got mass reported by every freak on the internet so the twitter got suspended. its the reason why bait has a perfect 3.0 rating on itunes because every review is either 5 stars or 1 star.
