I need more headcanons of Dave and Tabby being chaotic cousins
Ik who you are 😈
Dave and Tabby being chaotic Cousins HCs
-both are the weird kids that only had each other at the once a year family gatherings.
-they are each other's favorite cousins
-sleepovers with them involved making food, having deep talks, jamming out, and making blood pacts that all favorite cousins do together
-baby tabby used to be a menace to Dave's mom as payback for her being mean to Dave
-they played together like normal kids do with weird fucked up backstories and elaborate plots
-used to play with figurines they got from the gumball machines and went on seven seasons of this game and plot with them before eventually losing interest
-once Dave came out as trans ftm to tabby she was the first one who supported him and gave him his first "oops" haircut to match his gender and piss off his mom
-she played it off like they were playing salon.
-sometimes tabby will take Dave on Boys nights with zaine and Toby just to get some socializing in
-they are thick as theives and partners in crime
I hope you like these and feel free to ask again!

winter wonderland has come and gone, and with that comes a whole new serving of fresh squeezed juice. click the link below to read all of the insider gossip as we give a rundown on palmview's messiest winter event !
palm readers here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of florida's forgotten. our neighbors certainly got busy at this year's winter wonderland, and we're here to give you all of the inside juice. from blowouts to beaus, we're covering it all, so sit back, snuggle up and get ready because this juice is tart !
in light of the holidays we decided we'd start at a wholesome place. palmview's prom queen and helping hand have decided to take their romance to the next step, making it official under all the twinkling lights ( and in front of everyone in town ) when they hard launched by showing up and showing out at the event. a source close to the two says that their new romance has been budding for longer than we know, and that the pair are excited to start their new journey together. looks like santa visited early for these love birds !
it seems that santa may have visited another couple, as kyro and celeste were spotted getting extra close in the photobooth. i wonder if they know that there's a screen on the outside for everyone else to see ? a source says that the two insist they're ' just friends ' but the evidence we've seen says otherwise. besides, who carries a mistletoe in their purse when they're with a friend ? i've always said to each their own, but let me tell you, i've never done that with a friend !
rekindling seemed to be in the air last night, as winona and veronica were spotted hand in hand at the ice rink. veronica must not mind that winnie's been going on dates. either that, or she doesn't know, considering a source says that she was spotted being quite friendly with remy. let's only hope this doesn't put a damper in their newly repaired ... friendship ?
things weren't all jolly though, and despite the cheer in the air, not everyone managed to stay off of the naughty list. while they may have thought they'd gone under the radar, we have eyes and ears everywhere and your palm readers know all. cassius and vivienne were spotted having a heartfelt reunion, but a source says that things aren't as sweet as they seem. will the two be able to rekindle, or will the guilt of holiday's past be too much for them to endure ?
everything came to a head for julian when teddy caught him on what appeared to be a date with ex girlfriend hadley. never a good feeling when your new beau double books himself, even worse when you have an entire audience for it. not sure how julian will dig himself out of this grave after kenny shoveled in the last scoop of dirt, but perhaps santa's elves will be kind and give him a hand in the process of getting back on teddy's nice list. you didn't hear it from us, teddy, but we say run for the hills ! how can a man keep up with a woman if he can't keep up with his own calendar ?
benedict everly found himself permanently on the naughty list after losing track of devon's daughter. sources say the girl was wandering the grounds alone when vivienne found her. this led to the awkward reunion between benedict and vivienne, presumably the first since their engagement went up in flames. seems that the things you try to run from will always find their way back to you !
back from his disappearance, leon amos was spotted at the winter wonderland in far better spirits. seems the holiday cheer has gotten to him, and who knows where he's been, but we can only hope it's given him inspiration for the next album ! maybe a christmas rock song is on palmview's horizon.
our town matchmaker might be great at pairing others, but her choice in emma seems to be a sketchy one. sources say that emma and noa were seen parading around our wonderland in what seemed like a happy love bubble, but the second noa left, emma was seen flirting around with several different people. i wonder how noa will feel to find out that sydney and emma shared a kiss ? unfortunately it's definitely not cupid's season, and his bow was missed by a long shot.
the awkwardness doesn't stop there... caleb and clementine both arrived with different dates, only to leave with each other. not sure what the pair get from dragging the rest of us into their love story, but hopefully their dates were able to find a little comfort in each other. won't be long until we're sharing the news of their rekindled relationship ! as much as they'd like to say they hate each other, we all know there's a thin line between love and hate.
in a show of bravery, daniel decided to pick a fight with olivia after getting stuck with her on a ferris wheel ( another joke from santa himself ). the two didn't make any efforts to keep it lowkey, either, as the poor patrons stuck under them came to us with all the juice. rumor has it olivia wouldn't let daniel get a word in edge wise, and we can only wonder if that had a hand in their downfall. no one likes to be talked over all the time, and she seems to have made a habit of it. stay tuned to find out if their relationship is as stuck as the ferris wheel, or if they'll find a way to reconnect !
to top off all of the winter woes, knoxville oakley was spotted at the bar reeling from his soon to be fiancee's sudden departure. a source close to him says that he was practically incomprehensible, rambling on about the way she'd left without a word. we can only wonder what drove her to that point, but hopefully knox can find a little holiday cheer ! perhaps santa will leave a little self respect under the tree for him this year.
and that's a wrap on our holiday event ! always remember, we see and hear everything here at the daily palm. head on over to our comments and let us know all of your thoughts on this year's winter wonderland ! we wanna hear it all.

TRANS DAY OF REMEMBRANCE 2024
Don't have the spoons to make a spiel about how solidarity in and out of the community is important, but wanting to highlight that as is. We need to speak out and show up for those who fight alongside us, and for those we've lost*.
*Remember: Any concrete numbers you see statistics wise are not 100% accurate. The violence against us, especially our BIPOC siblings, are majorly under-reported.
Here are some organizations and resources to share around, with attributions and pronouns (as of writing the post). I'll section this off based on what type of resource/org they are... more or less--
Archival.
2600 Pages of Hate: Transphobia and Fascism by maia crimew (It/She)
Black Trans* Oral History Project by Blu Bachanan (They/Them) and Naomi Simmons-Thorne (She/They)
Digital Transgender Archive by K.J. Rawson (He/Him) et al.
LGBT+ Intersectionality, a Google Drive full of Resource Books
The Mirror Memoirs by Amita Swadhin (They/Them), Jaden Cervantes-Fields (He/Him), and Bilen Berhanu (She/Her)
NYC Trans* Oral History Project
The Trans* Library (Carrd)
University of Victoria Transgender Archives (Canada)
Varied.
Baltimore Safe Haven, established by Iya Dammons (She/They).
Bklyn Boihood, established by Black masculine-of-center queer and trans people of color.
Black Trans Femmes in the Arts, established by Jordyn Jay (She/Her)
Black Trans* Travel Fund, established by Devin Michael Lowe (He/They) and Morticia Godiva (Her/Shey)
Brave Space Alliance, established by trans and gender non-conforming individuals.
FedUp Collective, established by Zain Lugay (They/He), Sam (They/Them), Cody (He/Him), Ian (He/Him), JO Walduck (She/They), et al.
For the Gworls, established by Asanni Armon (They/Them; Sources Vary)
The Gender Affirming Letter Access Project, established by transgender, nonbinary, and allied mental health and medical providers.
"The Gender Binary" is a Misnomer; Gender Has Always Been a Hierarchy by Talia Bhatt (She/Fae)
Privilege, Power, and Pride: Intersectionality within the LGBT Community by Kittu Pannu (He/Him)
The Okra Project, established by Gabrielle Inès Souza, Max Rigano, and Celyna Jackson (Pronouns Unknown).

Princess Janae Place, established by Jevon Martin (He/Him) and Dani Farrell (He/They).
The Transgender Education Network of Texas, established by various BIPOC trans community members.
Trans*, Gender Variant, and Intersex Justice Project, established by Janetta Johnson (She/Her), zy'aire nassirah (He/Him), zen "zee" mills (She/Her), van dell (They/Them), Valentine McClain (They/She), eli b. (They/He), et al.
TransgenderNI (Northern Ireland) / Belfast Trans Resource Centre, established by trans community members.
TransInclusiveGroup, established by Tatiana Williams (She/Her/Goddess), Krys Gordon (She/Her), Adrianna Tender (She/Her/Diva), Mei-Lan Diaz (They/Them), and Na'stacia Buchanan (She/Her).
Trans Latin@ Coalition, established by Paolo Coots (She/Her/Ella), Arianna Inurritegui-Lint (She/Her/Ella), Alexa Rodriguez (She/Her/Ella), et al.
Trans* Needle Exchange, established by Oliver (Pronouns Unknown).
And remember, community is what keeps us alive.
It is important to call out bigotry in our spaces; important to let those here know we value them and their existence. Do not solely fight for those who are gone, fight for those who are living with us here and now.
Let the folks in your lives and in your communities know you care about them. Listen to them. Learn from them. None of us are free until all of us are free.
Which is why I'm also going to drop broader-focus organizations and resources for the global community:
alQaws for Sexual & Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society
Canadian LGBTQ+ History
India's LGBTQ+ Movement
LGBTQ+: A Troubled History in Mexico
LGBTQ+ Orthodox Jewish Education (PDF)
LGBTQ+ Narratives in Pakistan
LGBTQ+ Rights Ghana Support Fund
Nigeria's Queer History
Queer Activism in Africa
Queer Nigerian Emergency Fund
Feel free to add onto this (preferably with more grassroots kinda stuff/individual spotlights; anything goes long as it's vetted really).

Zain accident guide (fencing club route)
Well, first of all: accident in the fencing route is harder to pass compared to the polo accident. Unlike Pippa, Zain dies in most of the outcomes.
So... how do you keep him alive?
The best outcome is achieved by MC. You'll have to manually deflect all sword shards (#I strike down the flying mid-air shards with nothing but my blade alone. or #I duck and cover and-- no, why are my feet moving forward?! No, no, no I'm not trying to 1v1 an entire shower of sharp shrapnel!) through the power of anime and a whole bunch of stat checks:
have a body stat of 30 or higher or have a combination of body stat and magic stat be 30 or higher
or have a talent of agility and body stat of 20 or higher
or do a dance during conversations twice (or more) and have body stat of 20 or higher
and don't be too high on energy drinks from the vending machine before the duel (you are okay as long as you drink less than 7 of them).
Both body and magic stats start with 5 and are gained through the first chapter (yes, including the club routes). On the stats screen body stat is "Physical Strength + Athleticism", magic stat is  "Magic + Mysticism". Percentage equals to the score (i.e. 5% is the score of 5).
The dance thing may be a problem because there are only 3 instances when you can do it before the duel, and all of them come at the price of embracing a cuckoo 1 of them may be locked out for you:
#I say nothing, I merely start dancing the Tango de la Muerte. at the very start of the club segment. It gives you a bunch of small stat increases (including +1 for Adrian relationship), huge boost to boldness, and Simpsons reference. But it's available only if you chose Spandex Tracksuit as your main clothes.
#It's time to do the Dance of Joyâ! when you finish gearing up in the armory. Doesn't offer anything aside from cuckoo increase.
#I AM Michael Jackson. I put on a single glove and moonwalk to the piste. when you decide on how many gloves you are goin to wear for the duel. It gives a couple of small stats increases but can backfire with -1 HP if your body stat is less than 15. It also sets your gloves counter to 1 (since you are literally wearing only one glove). Luckily, this particular value won't backfire.
Upon failing the stat check, MC with luck talent and changeling MC get additional chance, but you are at RNG's mercy here, since the success requires a dice toss. MC with both luck and changeling childhood gets slightly higher chance of success in this toss, but it's still pure RNG.
The best outcome gives a huge boost to relationships with other club members, small boost ot relationship with Adrian, and fear stat reduction.
The second-best outcome is achieved by convincing Zain to wear his mask and not trying to deflect the shards. For the former right before the duel, when you decide on stance, pick #I gravely inform the audience that only masked eyes are allowed to behold my full splendor. The problem is: this option requires 4 or more in cuckoo score to be pickable.
This outcome doesn't have any boons aside from +3 to Adrian relationship, but it also has no downsides like HP losses.
For the third-best outcome instead of convincing Zain, force Adrian to help. For that, pick #I invite Adrian to a have a front row seat to my next match. at the end of Jianhua and Gil duel. However, this option will be blocked if:
you accused Adrian in being a stalker (#"Adrian, are you stalking me?" Might as well grab the bull by the horns and body slam it.),
or picked a violent option during the conversation about sleepover/sleeping in motel (#I make a violent slashing motion that sends Adrian staggering backwards several steps.),
or annoyed him by being rude during sleepover/motel discussion (#"Not a chance in hell and quite frankly that suggestion sounds completely mental in the first place."),
or spooked him by being weird during the discussion of intrusive thoughts (#Thiiiiis iiiiis completely riiiidiculous.). However, this fragment appears in this way (and with these consequences) only if MC told Adrian about at least one strange thing before going into intrusive thoughts topic or if Adrian knows that MC works as a security guard (i.e. you talked about murder beforehand with #"There was a murder during my last work shift..." or #I launch into a long involved story regarding my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. and its silent equivalent). Also, this option is the only one available in this branch for the possessed MC.
This outcome doesn't offer much aside from Zain survival, and Adrian is going to loose 10 HP.
In all other outcomes Zain dies.
Fuck you, Zain, Pippa was much easier to save.

--currently on tumblr break if you see me posting its probably queue *furthermore i would not recommend sending a donation request ask, because i am logged out i won't see it or be able to help, you're probably better off just sending it to someone else
he/she just use whatever you think is most genderfuck in any given situation
you can call me puff or apuff
i am a minor
i block liberally and dont really have a dni, but PLEASE do not follow me if you are a terf or post nsfw 🙏🙏🙏🙏 seriously
i post art and writing and some assorted shitposts, it's usually about mcr (my wife michael romance 😇😇😈) i do like other music and webcomics and videogames tho
@apuff-rb is my reblog blog
@apuff-comics comic blog
i tag for most common triggers, and i use just the word (eg, blood not tw blood), and usually tag both bright AND flashing things as "eyestrain"
please donate or reblog this fundraiser, verified here :
i have a few different tags for various things in my blog, like:
art (some old art of others' is on here, but it's mostly my art)
apuff's inane ramblings (inconsequential text posts)
mcr (My Chemical Romance is an American rock band from Newark, Ne)
dungeon meshi (you know what this is you're on tumblr)
miku (HATSUNE MIKUUUUU)
art save (things that are pretty, i'm trying to keep tutorials out of this now but i might forget)
save (like..general useful stuff, good websites, not very specific)
things i want to draw (self-explanatory, more for text posts that inspire me than images, which is "art save")
picrew (picrew chains. i reblog the picrew of people that i tag in these because otherwise i can't find them ever)
long post (posts that are long, this is mostly for blacklisting)
free palestine (self-explanatory)
remember this (desperate plea. i don't even know what i use this for)
art tutorials (TAG I JUST MADE UP NOW!!! i probably won't retroactively tag things as this)
-----
ok so for starters for trigger/blacklist tagging i'm using the format of just the thing in the tag, not "cw" or "tw" before or after it. for example, something with blood would just be "blood" not "tw blood."
for bright colors, i'm doing "eyestrain." i'm tagging things with flashing/strobing colors, lights, or light n darkness "flashing lights" if you're sensitive to that, please make sure you have it blocked since i can't cover the absolute myriad of the unstandardized tags for that specific thing on every reblog with it.
let me know if there's something i need to tag on a post, i forget a lot of stuff/autoreblog plus there's fears i don't know about and things
now palestine/gaza related posts are sort of a whole different beast in terms of tagging? i'm trying to put down "free palestine" on every post i reblog about the topic (cause you actually need to do that to get tags to trending) (plus overall blog sorting is good)
now obviously, the entire GENERAL CONCEPT of the current genocide is dark and upsetting, so know that i really can't tag every possible thing that could be upsetting. but, i'm trying to make a system of particularly upsetting things, especially pertaining to images & videos
ok so. for images/videos of children being actively harmed, as well as graphic text descriptions, i'm doing "child harm" this does not cover statistics of children killed or general comments on the fact
things like videos/images of gunfire, shooting and bombing, i'm doing "violence" like the other one this doesn't cover descriptions of those things happening.
"injuries" is self-explanatory- burns, bloody injuries, face trauma, etc, you get the drill (even blurred/pixely censored ones)
"dead body" is also self-explanatory, doesn't include body bags except if they have visible body part sticking out
tags that could mostly apply to anything (like "gun" or "blood") don't have any special tags, i just use the generic ones like i said above
still thinking of a tag for people being distressed about their situation/ their dead loved ones since things like "death"' are too vague and would cause overfiltering but i can't think of something accurate. if you have any suggestions, let me know.

Top 3 favorite fics you wrote and a story about you/your day :)
top three favourite fics i've written:
Five Times Jake and Chloe Fell Out of Love and the One Time They Found It (plot self explanatory)
pantone 19-1764 / pantone 18-1553 (royal pains study)
Familiar (Achilles and Patroclus reincarnation)
a story about you/your day
my day was incredibly uneventful so im gonna tell a (maybe brief) story about how i bonded with one of my closest friends
the year was 2017, I was apart of a group of young people who put on events for other young people run out of our local Youth Space (basically an extension of the city library aimed at people ages 12-19)
It was October, and we had been put in charge of organising the Youth Space ball that year (it was Oscars themed). We had spent the whole day there setting up the decorations and curtains and lighting and catering and all, and of course arriving early after leaving to get ready. We all had glowstick bracelets. It was a fun evening with people I had enjoyed spending time around. This was the night I met Tyson. Tyson seemed to be friends with everyone else in the group, so of course he was in the group photos we took.
A week later, we were going on a beach trip as a celebration/bonding trip. Tyson was not a part of this group, but everyone was asking where he was and if he was coming. So someone said they would pick him up and meet us at the beach. And they did.
So, after an unsucceessful fishing attempt and lunch, we had finally made it to the beach.
As we were walking along the beach, we wanted music. That was the point in time where literally all my playlists were solely musical theatre. Like, I cannot stress that enough. There were only musicals on all my playlists.
Tyson said that he loved Wicked, it was the first musical he saw.
So, we bonded by singing Popular and Defying Gravity along the beach (I was Elphaba, he was Galinda. We have sung Popular and Defying Gravity together since then, but the roles have switched).
And ever since then, we had been super close.
(It got to the point where there are jokes that him and another one of our close friends are my younger brother figures/that Tyson and I are twins since his birthday is 2 days after mine)
Also! I told him about Be More Chill and that the character of Michael reminded me of him. The next day I saw him he said he had memorised Michael in the Bathroom.
(And there was a time where I left the Youth Space only a few minutes before him and our other friend Zain. They were a few meters behind me and decided the best way to get my attention was to yell "IT'S FROM JAPAAAAN". It worked).

While Taylor Swift is not the first artist to cycle through different looks throughout her music career, her dedication to celebrating these eras will likely be copied by musicians for years to come. Over her years in the music industry, Swift has experimented with many different styles. With every new album came an updated aesthetic and red carpet looks to match. There was the curly-haired country girl of the Taylor Swift era and the girly-girl look associated with Fearless and Speak Now. Red called for a whole lot of red lipstick while Reputation brought out the singer’s edgy side. Lover introduced pastels and sparkles, and Folklore, Evermore, and The Tortured Poet’s Department fit perfectly into the cottage-core aesthetic that was popular during their releases. Throughout her long career, Swift has navigated eras, trends, and her own personal style like a pro and still surprises us every time she steps onto the red carpet. These days, Swift is mixing up her look a bit more than usual, but she still continues to gravitate toward her favorite designers (namely, Oscar de la Renta, Dior, Schiaparelli) for the big moments. So, as you keep yourself up to date on all the recent Swift news, take some time to scroll through the singer’s best looks from 2006 to now. 2024: MTV Video Music AwardsDimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesIn a tartan high-low dress by Dior and hot pants, Swift looked ready for battle at the 2024 MTV VMAs.2024: Grammy AwardsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic/Getty ImagesA bridal white Schiaparelli dress paired with dramatic opera gloves.2024: Golden Globe AwardsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic/Getty ImagesSwift lit up the 2024 Golden Globes in a green disco dress from Gucci.2023: Renaissance PremiereGareth Cattermole/WireImage/Getty ImagesIt’s fitting that Swift wore one of Beyoncé’s go-to brands, Balmain, to attend the premiere of the Renaissance concert film. Swift specifically chose a silver spring 2023 dress featuring a high slit and sequin-covered boutonniere on her bust. 2023: Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour PremiereMatt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesWhen it came to the premiere of her own concert film, Swift went for a more feminine look, attending the event in a blue, floral cut out Oscar de la Renta resort 2023 dress. 2023: MTV Video Music AwardsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic/Getty ImagesSwitching aesthetics yet again, Swift embraced her edgier side in an asymmetric Versace dress at the VMAs. 2023: Grammy AwardsAllen J. Schaben/Los Angeles Times/Getty ImagesConsidering Swift was nominated for her album, Midnights, at the 2023 Grammys, it makes sense that she attended the award show in a dark blue Roberto Cavalli two-piece set, decorated with embellishments that turned the singer into a walking midnight sky. 2022: American Music AwardsGilbert Flores/Variety/Getty ImagesSwift threw it back to the ‘70s at the American Music Awards, opting to wear a gold, embellished jumpsuit from The Blonds, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, and jewelry from Al Zain and Nouvel Heritage. 2022: MTV Europe Music Awards Daniele Venturelli/WireImage/Getty ImagesThe singer wore a dress from David Koma’s spring 2019 collection for the EMAs in Düsseldorf. She paired the bodysuit and embellished skirt with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Djula earrings. 2022: Nashville Songwriter AwardsTerry Wyatt/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesSwift celebrated her Songwriter-Artist of the Decade honor in a one-armed black sequin dress from Michael Kors Collection fall 2022. 2022: Toronto International Film FestivalAmy Sussman/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesThe singer wore a gold Louis Vuitton dress with a neckline of draped crystals to TIFF, where she spoke following a screening of All Too Well: The Short Film. 2022: MTV Video Music AwardsDia Dipasupil/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesSwift began her Midnights era in a crystal-covered Oscar de la Renta resort 2023 dress at the MTV VMAs in August 2022. 2021: “All Too Well” PremiereANGELA WEISS/AFP/Getty ImagesTaylor Swift wears a velvet double-breasted Etro suit to the "All Too Well" premiere on November 12, 2021 in New York. 2021: Brit AwardsJMEnternational/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesTaylor Swift wore a silver Miu Miu two-piece at the Brit Awards 2021 on May 11, 2021 in London, England. 2021: Grammy AwardsJay L. Fear level counting: Fencing Club part 2
If the conversation with Adrian ended early (before going through 7 topics), including the cases where Adrian left on his own for whatever reasons, and MC has a thunder phobia, there is a mandatory +1 fear at the start of this segment. MC with fear phobia also gets +1, as well as MC with bold stat being under 20 and MC with caution level of 7 or higher (those four increases don't stack together). Meanwhile, MC with greed vice is enjoying -1 here (also doesn't stack).
Trying to go against the script force yourself into the proper changing rooms gives +1 fear.
At the start of changing, once there is a strange shadow in the mirror ("No, no, it's only your reflection staring back at you"), MC with greed vice gets another -1, while MCs with fear phobia, bold stat being under 20 or caution level of 7 or more get another +1.
As always, ignoring the creepy (#I ignore it and continue putting on my uniform.) gives -1 while increasing denial stat.
Once the creaking noices start ("And then there comes a... Creaking!"), there is another mandatory +1 with additional +1 for fear phobia.
Having a normal one about all of this (#Why am I smiling?) will give -2 fear, as well as a bunch of other unpleasant stat changes like willpower reduction, denial increase, corruption increase and potentially vice level increase.
Acting unwisely (#Iiiiiii waaaaalk towards the soooooound.) also gives -1 fear with the same unpleasant consequences and -10 HP on top.
Hiding (#I hide underneath the nearby sink., unavailable for active possession and greed vice) or trying to run away (#I lunge straight for the restroom exit., unavailable for active possession and greed vice) give +1 fear.
Meanwhile, choosing to become possessed (#I poke my head inside the stall to see what's truly going on in there.) will give -1 fear, denial increase, corruption increase and, well, possession.
Once the creepy stuff ends, calmly walking out of the restroom (#I calmly walk out the door in a very expedient manner. or #I take a moment to compose myself and then nonchalantly go strolling out., both are unavaliable with fear phobia or fear level of 7 or higher) will give you -1 with no bad consequences. Fake it till you make it in its finest!
MC with wrath vice can get -1 fear (and -2 HP) with #I slam into the door with all my righteous fury. Surely it'll open this time, right?, but this option becomes available only if you tried to get out of the restroom early (#Screw this, I'll just finish changing out in the corridor. or #I lunge straight for the restroom exit.).
Inviting Adrian to cheer for you during the duel (#I invite Adrian to a have a front row seat to my next match.) gives -1 fear (and gets you saved Zain).
Successfully pulling a Michael Jackson (#I AM Michael Jackson. I put on a single glove and moonwalk to the piste.) can give -1 fear, but it requires your body stat ("Physical Strength + Athleticism" on the stat page) to be 30 or higher.
Doing a cocky pose before at the start of the duel (#I strike a delicately posed stance, balanced on one leg, knee bent and lifted above my hips, arms extended at my sides like the wings of a crane, as my sword points at the unseen heavens above.) results in +1 fear for MC with thunder phobia.
Once Sefu's sword shatters, being overly cautious (#Somehow my eyes are still drawn to the darkened doorway.) gives +1 fear, but on the other hand it decreases denial.
The best outcome for Zain (#I strike down the flying mid-air shards with nothing but my blade alone.) gives -3 fear, but it may require a lot of stats. See Zain accident guide for details.
The second and third best outcomes for Zain (with him being saved by Adrian or his own mask) give -1 fear. Although, the mask route can later backfire with +1 fear for MC with attention phobia. In Adrian's save route looking at either Adrian or Zain give additional -1 fear.
Injured Zain results in +3 fear instead, with additional +1 for death phobia or fear phobia.
Looking for creepy instead of helping injured Zain (#Through it all my eyes are still drawn to the darkened doorway where it still awaits.) increases fear with +1 but decreases denial.
Medic MC can apply pressure to Zain's wound without getting their glove(s) off first (#Immediately apply pressure to the area directly below the artery with my gloved hands.) for -1 fear, but that will result in dead Zain if MC has 2 gloves on.
Removing gloves before applying pressure with medic MC and not checking Zain's pulse later on will result in -2 fear, once the paramedics arrive ("An eternity of heartbeats before the wail of distant sirens rises in the background.").
Non-medic MC can get their chare of fear level changes as well (as long as they help Zain via #I sprint to Zain's side. or #I sprint to the First Aid station situated against the far wall adjacent to the lobby. which requires to not have fear phobia, blood phobia and death phobia):
Getting off your glove(s) (#Remove my glove(s) and clamp my hands around his neck.) will give -1 fear. It won't help to save Zain, though.
Readjusting (#Readjust your grip... perhaps there's a better place to press.) will give another -1.
Doing nothing at the second choice (#Still I can do nothing more but stare at all this happening.) will give +1 fear.
Once Zain is packed away, MC with death phobia or fear phobia gets +1.
Non-medic MC who does nothing can get -1 fear with cursing (#"Holy fucking Christ what the damned hell in--" I begin spouting a long litany of curses. It won't help in this situation but at least it'll make me feel better.). But if this MC has blood phobia, they get mandatory +2 instead and can increase it with another +1 with hyperventilation (#Hyperventilate.) or psyching up (#BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD).
Voluntarily possessed MC can't help at all and gets a guaranteed dead Zain, -20 HP, an injured ankle and mandatory +1 fear for their troubles. And another +1 unless they are a medic, police detective, or have combined sass score of 30 or less, sweet score of less than 20 and corruption level of less than 4. And another +1 for death phobia or blood phobia.
Looking back at the scene of incident (#I turn to look, there's nothing there I haven't seen before.) will give +1 fear and corruption increase.

Okay so Super Smash Bros. Melee is easily my favorite spectator e-sport. And for 2024 I wanted to watch way more tourneys and keep tabs on how, not only the top players but also the top 64 placing players were been doing.
SSBMRank has released the list of the 125 players eligible for top 100 rank this year and I'm gonna try to guess them. (Hopefully I do better than last year lol.)
While I'm okay with getting people wrong within tiers, my goal is to get as few people in completely wrong tiers as possible, and hopefully not any that are off by more one tier.
My notes were focused on tourney placements more so than head-to-heads, so if there's some mid-low rank player that got some good wins I'm probably gonna completely miss that on my rankings.
But anyway let's get to it:
-
First up Honorable Mention: They did this last year and I think if they do it again Plup is getting it this year. (He got 3rd at a supermajor and did go to 5 events but LACS: Rivals didn't count for rankings so he didn't actually make the cut-off of 5 ballot-worthy events.)
*1: Zain *2: Cody Schwab *3: Mang0 *4-5: moky, Jmook *6-8: aMSa, Aklo, Hungrybox, (Plup*) *9-11: Soonsay, Joshman, (Leffen*), Wizzrobe *12-20: Junebug, Nicki, Spark, Krudo, Salt, SDJ, Axe, KoDoRiN, Trif *21-30: Magi, Ossify, Lucky, Medz, Chem, Morsecode762, S2J, ckyulmiqnudaetr, Fiction, MOF
(From here I get a lot less confident in my picks, before they were kinda confidently sorted in the tiers, from here it's super nebulous.)
*31-50: Wally, Sirmeris, SFOP, Grab, Skerzo, Agent, Panda, 2Saint, Bekvin, CPU0, null, Faust, Ben, Aura, Kacey, KJH, Wevans, Khryke, Zamu, TheRealThing *51-90: Free Palestine, Komodo, 404Cray, Drephen, Zanya, n0ne, Dawson, mvlvchi, bonfire10, JSalt, Michael, Gahtzu, Goosekhan, DrLobster, Raz, bobby big ballz, Mot$, kins0, Graves, salami, max, coffee, Fudge, Khalid, BING, Bbatts, Chango, Balloon Day, nut, Holiday, Paladin, Jude, Equilateral, Frenzy, Preeminent, Kevin Maples, Zuppy, mayb, Beezy, Juicebox
(I felt like if I did a hard cut-off at 100, I'd get a lot wrong. But by cutting it off a little early I can actually be invested in my low rank tier hoping to see all of them make it on the list somewhere.)
*Bottom 10 / Mr. 101 / Unranked: Nanami, Slowking, Lowercase hero, Maher, Iron, Unsure, Louis, KoopaTroopa895, POG Epic Gamer, JChu, OG Kid, Maelstrom, Matteo, Trail, Blue, Eddy Mexico, HPR, Kürv, Jah Ridin', Fro116, Zeo, Elliot, K8A, Kalvar, Polo, bambi, glock in my toyota, essy, Kwyet, NOOT, Yamasaki, Panko, E-tie, Fat Tino, Asidyx
-
And yeah those are my official guesses for 2024. I don't think I'll be as invested in 2025 (I've been playing/watching a lot of Rivals 2), so I doubt I'll do another full top 100 guess next year, but I'll probably still watch all of the major's top 8s so guessing at least top 20-30 is still on the table.
I'll do a follow up post in a month or so once the ranks are officially out, seeing how my guesses stack up to the actual ranks.
