This year's Halloween, once again, was going to be a big event for Rarold. There's no way we're going to make fun of him again! 1974 was going to be his year! (Unlike some people...) Finally, he was going to achieve something that Mousey will never be able to do: a corn maze! Rarold smiles evilly at this and then begins to approach the fence that separates him from his rival: "Ah ah ahhhh... Pipsqueeeak. You will... NEVER be able to do anyyyy event for Halloweeeen! There is no such thiiiing as a potato maze! Get loooooooost!" and he starts laughing. Mousey shrugs at his remark, they had packed plenty of snacks anyway so they were going to make some money during that corn maze event!! Rarold then returns to Glenn. "I'm sooooo happy that you're my scarecrooow. Number one, evennnn!! You'll scare all the kids, so they'll get lost in my field! AHAHAHAHAHA!! So muuuuch moneyyy we're goiiing to make."

glenn wasn't sure why the mayor had decided to rent out the cornfield as a corn maze for this year's halloween event — the townsfolk have never been very keen on him, what makes the mayor think they'd want to willingly get lost there ?

not like anyone's ever gotten 'lost' there before ...

" do i really need to help you test this ? i - i'm really not that great with directions ! " not a complete lie, but more of an excuse than anything else. the thought of being stuck in a corn maze for hours on end didn't exactly bring joy to glenn's heart. he'd much rather just watch over his fields like he usually does.
