Okay some of the core mechanics are ready i think now

the fight isint really fleshed out at all, so like, uh, you can't really beat rei but hey ive got the basics down so you can at least play around with it, its not READY for use whatsoever or properly playable and there is no way to win but hey you can at least see what im doing and if you see anything i fricke dup in the code or find any particular way to break it please let me know so i can fix it before i get too deep into this thing.

also no sprites are made for the fight yet nor will the idol fight thing be a first fight when its done but i just wanted to make sure it was POSSIBLE to make an idol fight you feel?

for those unaware: this is basically "survive as Eichi" simulator it's pretty bad and i have no idea what im doing it's basically my first attempt at making a video game for funsies and i'm starting completely from scratch, made using renpy.

its pure crack right now but Eichi can and will die in it and NOTHING is balanced in any fair manner right now. theres again, NO WIN CONDITION you cant possibly win this thing but i mean if you have fun then you basically won right? (it should have a win conditon, eventually!) THIS IS FOR WINDOWS AND I CANT SAY FOR SURE IF ITLL WORK ON ANYTHING ELSE

GOD the yumenosaki war really was just. Using the worst parts of what makes us human. The desire to be loved taken to the extreme, jealousy, the fragility of ego, resentment of fate. The real kicker is the way it snowballed and had to be performed til the end, with perhaps more catastrophic outcomes had it been stopped without the people's thirst appeased. How it got cruel beyond the original plan and its makers control... The power of the masses, for better or worse.

but ive decided with the urging of my beta reader to also include the terrible and disturbing one that i ORIGINALLY tried to make that's...*well its lore accurate.* it's lore accurate. Edit: i should note this is lore accurate TO MY FANFICTION I have been informed that in fact, saying 'lore accurate' here makes it sound like this is just what Cannon Eichi is like, I assure you, cannonical Eichi does not have glowing eyes or giant teeth and is a much better adjusted human being than whatever this thing is- please dear non enstars fans, don't be scared he wont bite you! (i mean he might do other things he's still a terribly behaved person but biting isint his usual method of harming others) edit over but heres the cute one. Some game self inserts do their job being good player inserts and being as unobtrusive and removed from the narrative as they possibly can while still getting most of the credit for the work. And then there are the player inserts where you're not projecting on them, they are projecting on you and you cannot escape now, you are part of the narrative, what do you mean this isn't what you wanted?
