Shenmue III - Full Review

"Yu Suzuki worked as the head of Sega's renowned AM2 Division for 18 years, and has always been a visionary creator.  He is considered to be one of the top 10 video game designers of all time by IGN, a prominent video game publication.

His polygon-based fighting game "Virtua fighter", earned him recognition from the Smithsonian Institute for it's contribution to the field of Arts and Entertainment, and is included on a list of the 50 most important video games of all time, published by 1UP magazine. He's also responsible for bringing us games such as Daytona USA, Fighting Vipers, as well as retro classics such as Space Harrier and Afterburner.

​The original Shenmue was the most expensive game ever made at the time, and is considered a hallmark title that helped shape the nature of modern open-world gaming, more than just about any other video game. SIII doesn't do anything to revolutionize open-world games, nor does it add anything new to the old formula, but it does recapture the essence of the old games, and succeeds in setting the stage for the next part of the saga. " - Full Review
