#final fantasy unlimited#ffu#ff:u#kuroki kaze#kaze kuroki#my art#I was watching Vin/land Saga and the whole arc with mourning the damage caused got to me#I already said that the MC gave me much inspo when writing young Wind Warrior Kaze but here I am again comparing the two and it comes out#subconsciously in artwork xD#Kaze can still cry but it takes so much that he repeatedly says he thinks he can't anymore. Or when he does it's over something he#considers not good enough a reason. Mostly he just thinks he has no right to mourn personal things anymore since he's committed to an#impersonal task and worldview that will inevitably have him kill again and again#So the Weapon mindset of 'I'm not a person only a tool' helps relieve some guilt over all that#But he still spends most of his time mourning others rather than himself#And Storm's mantra did not help obviously#Young Kaze would fight and cry frequently.
