StevexBucky Christmas au

ok ngl i texted cruciallymechanised about getting this request and i wasn't sure what kind of christmas au you meant exactly but we just ended up inadvertently coming up with like 

an au where they both work at a department store and like, bucky works at the café on the ground floor, and over the holidays steve works in the gift-wrapping department and he's like a master gift-wrapper and makes beautiful ribbon bows by hand and all his gifts are always gorgeously coordinated 

and like, idk, bucky and steve meet and get to know each other through working in the same place and eventually bucky spends his breaks chilling behind the counter with steve up on the fourth floor while steve wraps gifts and puts things on layaway

then they fall in love and there is a silly ribbon and scotch tape fight after hours at the department store and going to each other's places and bucky taking steve to an antiques market where they both pitch in to buy an antique record player together because it's out of both their price ranges
