i finally updated my perry ref from 2 years ago!! this shit about done kilt me lemme tell ya. since then there's been a couple changes:

perry is no longer a made up species, he's a manticore (my own spin on it obvs) -- manticores in his universe have been in hiding for centuries after years of being hunted to near extinction. he was stolen away as a newborn and has no idea what he is (the females are bigger, have manes, wings, and poison stingers but only the males breathe fire)

i added some more bug-like features to his monster form. basically just beetle horns and a kind of scarab-y sheen to his armor

he breathes fire now, but doesn't like to. his flame lung is kind of weak and normally he can't produce more than a small blaze. when he's pissed though it's fuckin... it's essentially godzilla's atomic breath lmao. when he changes back to normal it's not abnormal for him to be coughing up ash and smoke for several days

instead of bioluminescent freckles, only his chest and parts of his armor glow (his chest glows specifically when he's charging up a fire blast) also it just made the design easier to draw tbh

i've bumped him up from 18 to 20 at the start of his main story. it just kinda felt right idk

luna is up next i just have to mentally prepare myself bc this took so long

Ghastly used to be like my 3rd favorite character but nowadays he's not even in my top 5. The reason is simple:

one can only look at "omg it was so sad when Erskine killed Ghastly and absolutely no-one else of note whatsoever!!!" So many times before growing somewhat bitter.

i don't think i've ever posted about my wiz oc on tumblr so here's my boy Cecil. I figure since i'm making a game about him I should probably introduce him. Ref art by @/keylimesiren (bc i can't draw furries)

He's a shy lil raccoon man that runs a card shop in the Wizard City Shopping District called the Cedarwood Card Emporium. He primarily sells treasure cards but also sells normal cards and spellbooks/decks/other card accessories.

He's also got two human assistants that work with him. Here's some old doodles I made of them. (again, i'm sorry i can't draw furries truly one of the hardest battles of being a wizard101 fan something something god's bravest warriors. you get me.)
