Sweet of you to ask! Those are separate terms, so I'll explain separately. Check under the cut, those who wanna know :3

Most people use "arospec" as a way to say they're on the aromantic spectrum, meaning they feel little to no romantic attraction at all. I avoid trying to take a particular label for myself, but grayaromantic is probably what I'd say I am. I'm only 16, granted, but it's a term I realized fit me the best more than anything else, to be honest. Never had a normal crush in my life.

As for agender, it just means I experience a lack of gender. My ideal body wouldn't have any feminine or masculine factors. Or at least, I'm neutral. I experience body and social dysphoria cause of it, but I find it much more appealing to be seen as a guy than a girl. I present masculinely, after all.

Originally I was going to have Piper date a guy sim I made, but I went into the Kang household and made a sister from Cecilia Kang's genetics based sort of on Jane's style and liked the name Cameron for her. Then I was like oh dang what if Piper meets Cam at a party and they hit it off and start dating, and thus their relationship began and it's still going strong. 😊 sorry for the rambling I'm just so obsessed with this book, as you can tell. 😅

Getting back into the swing of things, folks.

Explanation for why I've been gone and what's next below the cut.

I know I've apologized a lot in the tags over the past several months, but I'm sorry especially for not replying to all the lovely comments on SYWSAR, or the sweet messages in my inbox.

I'm not sure I ever really properly addressed my hiatus. To make a long story short, I pushed myself too far and ended up with wicked burnout. I knew I would, but I was having fun, so I kept adding more and more projects... and then when I finished SYWSAR's last main chapter, the burnout hit me like a ton of bricks, riding a falling piano, riding a falling anvil. And then a speeding car hit me for good measure. That was almost a year ago, now 😅

But! I've mostly recovered, and on top of that, finally got diagnosed with ADHD and started taking meds. Taking it slow, for now. I've been working on stuff behind the scenes, including a second longfic- I'm only going to upload when finished, though, the opposite of how I wrote SYWSAR. As far as giving y'all something, proof of life- I'll start by answering the comments I never got around to, then take a break from behind the scenes writing and work on the requests here. The inbox will then be closed for a bit while I sort out my projects/redo the project update list.

After that, there'll probably be a long stretch of radio silence while I resume work on the longfic and the epilogue. I'll still be here, reblogging y'all's lovely art, writing, and memes, and my inbox/DMs is always open if y'all want to say hi/send me things, but I won't be publishing anything/taking requests.
