Quick Rant About Disney’s Handling of Planet of The Apes
On the one hand, I want Disney to do more with Planet of The Apes. Stuff like:
- TV series adaptations (like remaking the original TV series that Roddy McDowell was in or making novelizations like Firestorm and Revelations into TV series. I could also see a TV series starring Cornelius as he comes to terms with who he is and who his father was with Maurice, Rocket, Bad Ape, Nova and Lake also returning)
Or! A TV series revolving around Noa and Eagle Clan (like the many misadventures of Noa, Soona, and Anaya!) or Proximus and the coastal apes (which would give us more context and time for Proxy)!
- More merchandise. Because, really, Disney could do so much with the series in that way! I’d gladly spend my money on PoTA gear if it were available at Disneyland! (Coloring books, keychains, books, comics, stuffed animals, dolls, etc).
I’m not saying make a ride or location dedicated to the franchise, just something to say “the apes have arrived!”. Making merch for PoTA could also give the company time to play with the franchise while also giving us fans something to love and want.
We also need more PoTA merch in general. I only know of the NECA figures and Kingdom popcorn bowls and keychain (EBay does have figures and things from the original PoTA movies but it’s all expansive and not quite the same).
- They could also play around with the original series, maybe expand on and play with the setting and characters? It doesn’t have to be just the reboot series they could play with (maybe the Tim Burton remake could be added to Disney’s Halloween themes? 😆).
I don’t really mind if we don’t get much info or plan updates from Disney regarding the franchise. It just irks me that the company bought the franchise yet hasn’t put as much attention or time in it as they did with other franchises they’ve bought (such as Star Wars, Avatar or Marvel).
That being said though!!! I also don’t want Disney to do to PoTA as it did to those other franchises. Here’s what I mean by that:
- Make so many movies and TV series with a plot line that’s so similar you can’t tell one from the other (Like Marvel or Avengers movies-bad guy, fighting, team up, more fighting, dialogue, fighting).
- Similar to the one above but, create so many spin-offs that it becomes overwhelming and new fans don’t know where to start (Such as Star Wars and it’s many sequels, prequels, and everything in between).
- This is more of a side comment but Disney hasn’t exactly been making good or original movies lately (lots if sequels to movies they’ve already made or movies like Wish for example). Seriously, can someone check on the writers? They’re either overworked or Disney keeps interfering and dismissing their ideas and work (which is my best guess).
So yeah. It sucks that we haven’t heard much since Kingdom’s release but I’d rather Disney sit on the franchise for a bit before making anything with PoTA than for them to potentially harm the franchise with bad writing, poor quality, or uninteresting and overused characters (or character types).
The fact that Disney bought Fox and Planet of The Apes (to me anyway) implies that the company has ideas for the PoTA franchise. Ideas for where it can go after Caesar’s time or possibly involving the original movies.
Whether those ideas are good or bad remains to be seen but not doing so much as make merchandise for fans (seriously Disney!! I will buy it but you have to make it and sell it first!!), is kinda disappointing and frustrating.

Just a quick question but what often gets you inspired?✨
Oh boy ehhhhhh - here we go to the never ending rabbit hole!!
Sometimes small things gets my attention like e.g. squirrels paws, unique red face of a person at a cold day or seeing chair upside down on icy lake (honestly I am now working on long comic about trolls inspired by that chair).
Comic art and animations inspires me greatly! Lately I have been inspired by animations gems like the thief and the cobbler, treasure island from 1988 (and other Soviet Union animations) and the king and the mocking bird. The animation process fascinates me greatly, how can one make smooth and imaginative animations is wonderful! I can't get enough of it all.
Also concept of kindness inspires me greatly. I have gone throw...lets say a lot. I love stories that show kindness where it is needed, e.g. Tove Jansson's story of invisible child. The child was bullied by their family so much that they turned completely invisible and lost their own voice, eventually they found confidence and selfworth in themselfs thanks to kindness of Moomins. I want my feelings to be seen and heard but sometimes world or people are overwhelming. Kindness is important, otherwise we will fall apart or at least I do. I am still on my way to be kind and understanding of myself and othets but those qualities are more important to me than ever.
Couple weeks ago I started to collect stuff that inspires me or I find interesting. I will list most of them below. If I am not saying anything about certain box, it means I enjoy the show/comic/meme/animal but cannot put my finger on why. Usually those make me smile and give new pespective about life. Somethings might be there twice because I am forgetful baboon!
Junji Ito's horror comics are visually out of this world! But my fav is his humorous comic about his cats. It was so different from his other comics that I fell in love with it.
Emma manga made by Kaoru Mori. Usually I can't stand romantic stories but the characters but the story and the art works perfectly together in her comics.
Comics and animations of @cecameron are gorgeus and fun!
Tove Jansson's books, comics, art and life in general.
Rainbow Road from Muppets is my favourite song and I wish it would be played at my funeral one day. Its hopeful song that fills me with joy.
Entranta from Shera. She never gives up, I wanna be like her! I wanna see failure is part of the process and helps me get further little by little + its nothign to be shamefull of.
Ponyo's fathers frustration is relatable, also the whole movie is wonderful and colorful. Its maybe my favorite ghibli movie.
Scarr my beloved weirdo! The image was in the tarot pack of the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy and he is of course the hermit (which is my personality card)
@deep-dark-fears comics surprise me by giving new ideas to express fear.
Hugo Simberg was Finnish artist at 1900's. Symbolism and sympathetic characters of devils and death has inspired me since I was 8 years old.
Treasure planet is one of my favourite disney movies. The father son relationship between Silver and Jim is great and makes me cry everytime.
Hypnopotamus and Warren Stone from ROTTMNT. Their relationship is wholesome and inspiring + the show itself is fun, full of action and passion! I love it!
Tintin comics are almost religious in my family. It was one of the first comics I saw different from different parts of the world and how tintin could become friends even the most oddest (looking at you captain Haddock) people is marvellous.
The penguin my belowed ❤❤❤
Mörkövahti is Finnish children book that accidentally inspired me greatly. The world of troll like creatures, magical elements in the story and research of the creatures made me fall in love in the world of the books. I often love to read books for kids or teens, they are more interesting and I don't have to fear to be faced with rape, sexism and other nasty stuff.
Stop motion animation and expecially Arman animations have been always part of my life. I have soft spot for the pirates movie thanks to it's humor, naivety and animation style.
Adventure time is one of my favourite series and couple of things stuck with me. Some people are build different, you don't have to understand it but you need to respect them. I love this idea greatly and I try to live by it.
Pinsir is my favourite pokemon and it says a lot.
Mr Pogo and other smart ape characters inspire me greatly. No wonder new planet of the apes trilogy is part pf my movie collection. I am not sure why I love smart apes as characters but it always works.
Wander over yander whole concept is to be kind and help people out, I love it.
Peto was made for me by @elle-eedee at lgbtq trolls discord server. Peto ended up becoming my ultimate comfort character and I love to draw him and make stories for him. I loved the way elle-eedee combined my favorite things to create him ❤ also their colorful art inspires me everyone I see it.
@alioutfit blog is blog of style choices of man named Ali. I want to find my own style like Ali.
The murder she wrote is nostalgic for me and I wanna get into that series again! The fact smart older woman is the main focus inspires me. I love Agatha Christi stories too so it checks out.
Hugs + rottmnt. I love hugs and the show has a lot of good hugs!
Don Rosa's Donald Duck comics are the best! Those who don't know, Donald Duck comics are big in Finland!
Heikko Peikko (meaning Weak Troll) was stop motion animation series in Finland at 70's. Its wonky, basic and charming story of Heikko Peikko's everyday life.
The meme that made me less depressed
@foxing_around had wonderful comic that made me think over my friends over my sad ass.
Squirrels, I like them a lot. They remind me of my grandpa who loved forest and nature.
My sandwich with a face
Monsters petting each others! My friend has a lot of arkham maddness board games that comes with monsters. I like to play with the figurines, they are so lovely monsters!
Concept art of toothless from how to train your dragon. Why toothless couldn't look like this little ugly thing??? I would have loved him from bottom of my ❤
Kingdom of lonely bananas sign was at supermarket. Little imaginative ideas like these are great.
Pasila series is good stuff, it was said to be Finnish South Park.
My photo of snail ❤
WoY faces are glorious
The snow queen movie from 1957 gives me live. Its one of my favourite Soviet Union animation movie.
My photo of my special secret place at summer
I know only these two from Transformers comics and their love is wonderful. Truly I haven't read the comics...I wish I could tho!
Sherlock Holmes books are awesome
New ducktales series had so many characters from the comics I couldn't believe it at first! Finally I had my favourite characters like Fethry on the show!
I love odd looking animals because I am one too
Animal Crossing is a game I thought I would never play. It looked like a baby game when my big bro gave the it to me at the time gamecube was new console. He bought it because it had a memory card and he know nothing about the game. I tried it and never looked back ❤
The ping pong animation is my favourite animation series from Japan. I got the manga even I can't read it since it's straight from Japan. It's more about the lifes of the characters and how they grow as people than the game itself (or at least it feels like it). The story feels real in a way, that the characters are three dimensional and their reactions are natural. Some charachters stop developing as players, some loose interest completely, some work hard to be the best, some forget why they played in the first place and some found new ways to live their lives. The story is good for my soul.
Comic of @catmilks made me realise there are other people like me. The feeling of the comic is relatable and hopeful, things will pass and life goes on + make sure you take care of yourself.
Comics of @ stuffnoonetoldme made me reflect my life and how I see myself.
@diva-humon has good points of life. I realised I have very christian way of thinkin even I am not religious or have ever been part of any religios.
Suomenlinna, I loved it!

Weekend Top Ten #470
Top Ten Films to Watch on Star on Disney+
We’ve been watching a lot of Disney+ lately. This is partly due to the fact that our family movie nights have become, almost accidentally, a quest to watch every bit of Star Wars content on the service; so far, we’ve watched the entire Skywalker Saga and are now moving onto the spin-off movies. The younglings have become addicted: Daughter #1 is getting stuck into The Clone Wars, whilst Daughter #2 is demanding we jump straight into The Mandalorian. As for the Princess to my Scoundrel, well, she and I have been thoroughly enjoying WandaVision, which by the time you read this, will have finished. Sob! Nothing to do but gird our loins until the arrival of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in a couple of weeks! At least this excellent TV programme appears to have whetted my wife’s appetite for watching more of the MCU movies. Maybe soon I can make oblique references to Mary Poppins, y’all, and someone else in the house will actually know what the hell I’m on about.
Well it looks as if there’s going to be even more use out of our Disney+ sub as the months roll inexorably on, what with their new Star channel. This is where they’ve shoehorned all the mucky films they bought from the naughty boys and girls at Fox; sweary adult dramas, sexy bits, and scenes of explicit wrist-slapping abound. So now we have this toybox of grown-up content to savour! What to watch? What not to watch? I’ve already started at the most obvious place by diving into some vintage Arnie with Commando, one of the funniest action movies ever made. It did not disappoint.
So where to next? Re-watching semi-forgotten classics, films I’ve not seen in literally decades? Or checking out things that slipped me by (there’s an entire list to be made of “films I read about in Empire in the ‘90s, got really excited about, but never saw”). Do I watch the crappier Die Hard films, or cheesy action movies (er, like Commando, I guess)? Or dive deep into prestige fair? Or just watch Spy Hard for the Weird Al theme tune, practically the only bit of the film I remember? The options are virtually endless.
So that’s what this week’s list is: ten films I intend to watch on Disney+ very flipping soon. Or, y’know, just play Zelda until Falcon starts.
9 to 5 (1980): there was a lot of talk of Dolly around the New Year, and my wife and I even watched a documentary about her. As a result, I had a scoot around to see if it was possible to buy 9 to 5 as a birthday or Valentine’s gift for my better half; it’s a film neither of us have seen in years if not decades, and we’re both big Grace and Frankie fans too. Alas, it’s a difficult film to get a hold of; there doesn’t appear to be a Blu-ray readily available. Praise be, then, that it’s now on Disney+; a terrific comedy film, with a nice bit of feminist bite. I’m not sure if it’ll feel dated or – post-#MeToo – oddly prescient. But I’m really, really looking forward to watching it again.
Crimson Tide (1995): I do love a good tense thriller, and I seem to remember this as being a particularly great tense thriller. This feels like one of those “they don’t make ‘em like this anymore” candidates; a claustrophobic two-hander with no real action, almost a theatrical chamber piece, but made with huge stars and a big-time director (the late, great Tony Scott). I saw it once, on video, when it came out, so it’ll be great to revisit.
The Color of Money (1986): another minor classic that I’ve not seen for decades, and a film I remember even less well than Crimson Tide. It’s cool to revisit (or discover for the first time!) films by great directors, and this is Scorsese we’re talking about. Cruise as a freshly-minted movie star, still taking risks; Newman as a great elder statesman. I’ve genuinely no idea what it’s like, it’s been so long, but I’d love to see it again. Just wish The Hustler was on D+ too!
Quiz Show (1994): I’d mentioned before that there are loads of films from the ‘90s that I read about as an eager young film fan but never saw; this is one of them. An apparently-great drama about corruption at a hugely popular TV show in ‘50s America, with Ralph Fiennes in a very early Hollywood role. I think I’d enjoy it.
Looking for Richard (1996): another of those ‘90s films…! This fascinated me as a teen, and I’d love to see it: a documentary about Richard III, made by Al Pacino, featuring people talking about Shakespeare (got a lot of time for that) and also scenes of the play performed and filmed. It’s a real curio; also weirdly came out around the same time as McKellen’s Richard III. Maybe something was in the water? We’re due another big Rich in my opinion.
Jennifer’s Body (2009): a follow-up from Juno writer Diablo Cody, a horror centred around high school and female sexuality, this has always seemed like it might be a dark, delicious delight; it wasn’t very well received at the time, but has grown in cult status; as has its star, Megan Fox, who I’d argue has not had the easiest time within Hollywood. Anyway, I really like the look of it, and it’ll be cool to check it out.
Tombstone (1993): I love a good Western, and I seem to remember that this is a very good Western. A story of Wyatt Earp that goes beyond the famous gunfight, my memories of this are very vague; I know that there’s a very good Val Kilmer performance as Doc Holliday, and of course Kurt Russell as Earp himself. I might try out that “watch along” feature and watch this, remotely, with my dad.
Romancing the Stone (1984): I probably haven’t seen this since the eighties so I’ve got no idea if it’s really any good, but I do remember enjoying its Indy-inspired adventurism and – in particular – Danny DeVito’s bad guy. Douglas is always great value as a leading man, although from what I’ve since read this is really Kathleen Turner’s show. It’ll be interesting to see if it holds up, but hopefully it’ll be a good stop-gap until they finally get the Indy films up on the service.
Good Morning, Vietnam (1988): another film that I want to revisit, even if I remember it a little better than others on this list. My memory is that it’s utterly fantastic, a really stark look at the realities of Vietnam during the time of the war, and also a phenomenal, very human performance from Williams. Also I remember it being very funny when he does let off some steam (sorry, bit of Commando creeping in there). And really, it’s Williams I want to see again; that earnest, real, pained but beautiful Williams we get in his very best performances. It’s very likely I’ll cry just watching him on screen. God, I miss him.
Independence Day: Resurgence (2016): I needed some crappy sequel to talk about, and here it is. I can’t overstate how much I loved the first Independence Day in ’96, so the (apparent; I’ve not seen it) terribleness of this sequel hit me like a sledgehammer. It can’t be that bad, can it? Is it not at least so-bad-it’s-good? I mean, the trailer made it look atrocious, and it’s killed off Will Smith – the best character! – off-screen, so odds are not good that it’s a hidden gem. But I’ve got to know.
This was actually a pretty tough list, and I had to knock off some films that I’d love to rewatch (Conan the Barbarian, The War of the Roses), as well as stuff like Idiocracy and Office Space that I’ve never seen. Also Kingsman: The Secret Service, which is a fairly recent release that slipped me by, and I’m not sure why I’ve never gotten round to seeing; I blame the kids! Also, there was going to be some xenomorph or xeno-monkey action on here, but frustratingly all the Alien (and Predator!) movies are missing, and the recent Planet of the Apes trilogy – which I’ve also never seen! – is only served by its middle instalment. Yeah, I can watch the seminal ‘60s original again (and I may!) or the indecipherable and strange Tim Burton version, but what about, y’know, the trilogy that everyone raves about? I assume this is due to pre-existing deals keeping the films elsewhere (elusive…), but the sagas of Alien, Predator, and the complete Die Hard package are – I believe – being kept until most profitable (mark my works: Die Hard at Christmas). Anyway, it’s a bit frustrating, that, as I’ve never seen Covenant or The Predator, and I’d love to watch the whole lot from the start anyway.
I guess I can console myself by also watching the one Die Hard film I’ve never seen, namely the critically-acclaimed A Good Day to Die Hard. I mean, I’m assuming it’s critically acclaimed. I guess I’ll find out.

Do you know why they keep pushing non-white stories?
Book of life and Rio showed execs they could exploit other countries national pride in the box office. They were late to Mexico and Brazil, but they could one-up Book of Life while getting to all the other countries first.
Now they are playing the long game, making kids all over the world making Disney not only their childhood, but also their tradition and national pride.
In Mexico now you'll hear the Coco Soundtrack in our National month (September), October (In the lead up to Dia de Muertos) and The first two days of November (Dia de Muertos). 2 whole months... every year... blasting disney... as national pride.
Now Disney has countries bidding to get more tourism and good exposure.
I have more to say below.
Disney has no franchises, non at all. Before Frozen they were dying. All their attempts of creating a franchise in the 2010s completely failed. (ex. John Carter, Lone Ranger, Tron, Tomorrowland, Prince of Persia, The Muppets)
Even the animated attempts (ex. Princess and the frog, tangled, Mars needs Moms), Pixar also released Cars 2 and Brave, they werent the success they were expecting, while they closed The toy story Francise in 2010.
Even in videogames, Epic Mickey didnt do well.
After Avengers, the MCU movies were struggling to make audiences happy. (Iron Man 3, Thor:the Dark World)
It got so bad they where rereleasing the old classics.
Their competition was fired up. (Amazing Spiderman, Transformers, Rereleased Star Wars movies, Despicable Me, Fast and the furious, 007, The Hobbit, Man of Steel and Ice Age)
They bought Lucas films because they couldnt make it work themselves. Of course only 8 years later they killed the francise almost completely.
On 2014, two Miracles fell into their hands: Maleficent and Frozen.
They saw they didnt need Tim Burton for the live action Movies, and non traditional folk stories was something kids were open to.
Thats why they bought Fox, they had animated franchises (Ice Age, Book of life, Rio), they had most of the other Marvel Licences (X-Men and DeadPool), Kingsman, Planet of the Apes and they had the Avatar Movies as a Franchise. They also had "The Greatest Showman" the most successful musical of modern cinema, and All the nostalgia bait they wanted (home alone, Night at the museum, Alien, Predator, Terminator, Anastasia, Snoopy)
idk I think this new era of Disney systemically poaching non-white cultures to be made into Representation Movies all directed by some white guy named like Laird Bannister III is kinda fucked up and sinister

Loki Episode 6 Review: For All Time. Always.
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This review contains Marvel’s Loki episode 6 spoilers
Loki Episode 6
If you thought Marvel’s Disney+ shows were done with Contact homages after Monica Rambeau’s transformation sequence in WandaVision, you thought wrong. The Loki season finale, “For All Time. Always.” opened with another one. We heard iconic dialogue from other MCU films, including Vision’s “What is grief, if not love persevering?” – which went from a heartbreaking utterance to an instant meme earlier this year – as we pulled out from Earth and its blistering sun and outward toward the Citadel at the End of Time where Kang resides, but not before we were joined by the likes of Neil Armstrong, Greta Thunberg, and Nelson Mandela.
Finally, we heard Sylvie calling out to Loki: “Open your eyes!” She’d go on to say variations of the same plea throughout this episode.
“What makes a Loki a Loki?” Mischief? Lies? Revenge? Our Loki experienced a breakthrough when it came to these quirks and failings and seemed resolved to make better choices.
Sylvie? Yeah, not so much.
Sylvie only saw lies and felt revenge for her own pain and the suffering of myriad Variants as she sought the destruction of the TVA and, ultimately, the rebirth of the multiverse. I found myself just as much on her side as I was on Loki’s, and the creators of the show did a great job to get me there because Loki, Kang, and Sylvie all had valid points to make while arguing about whether to kickstart the infinite possibilities of the multiverse – once you open that box it’s not easy to close it existentially or narratively. But we knew a Multiverse of Madness was on the horizon, and that Sylvie was probably going to be the winner of this particular argument.
The Loki season finale reaped the benefits of getting most of its big action out of the way in the penultimate episode‘s battle against Alioth, and I felt no disappointment that “For All Time. Always.” had about half an hour of exposition in store. We started this thing by absorbing a ton of exposition and that’s how we were going to bloody finish it! This time, however, it was exposition I absolutely yearned for, and Jonathan Majors’ Kang was there to deliver it in spades as I hung on his every word.
How good was Majors as Kang, though? I found him to be an instantly terrific addition to the MCU, despite his villainous appearance being signposted for quite a while. In the Sacred Timeline, Kang at least appeared to be a thoughtful, clever, fairly amiable and quite casual man who chuckled his way through an inevitable and dangerous comeuppance (which he admittedly allowed to happen) but there are other versions of Kang out there now who aren’t quite so pleasant to deal with, and we’ll almost certainly be meeting at least one of them in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. I suspect we may run into him again before that, but Majors has a unique chance to put in a completely different performance as Kang every time we see him.
It seemed fitting that when we finally met Kang he was eating an apple – a symbol for knowledge, immortality, temptation, the fall of man, and sin. Loki has played with all of these themes deftly throughout its run, and continued to do so in this episode. The Wizard of Oz and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory vibes were still running strong in the finale as Kang explained to Loki and Sylvie that he was tired and had decided that they were the perfect people to take over his majestic reign of the Sacred Timeline, and it all made for a definite improvement on The Matrix: Reloaded’s similar but legendarily confusing Architect encounter by actually making sense in a clear, effective, and adroit way.
It takes a lot to write Loki into a place where he plays a fairly innocent pawn in a chess game that he has no idea how to play, especially after we’ve seen him be several moves ahead in other MCU outings. But to have him be the voice of reason in that scenario was quite something, and Tom Hiddleston’s performance during the sequence where he struggled to avoid fighting Sylvie in order to express it was incredible. I may not have completely bought into the romance between Loki and Sylvie, but I did buy into the essential ways that they were too different to trust each other when push came to shove.
Kang managed to give Renslayer a bite of the apple before he met the end of Sylvie’s sword by passing on some key knowledge through Miss Minutes. Renslayer and Kang are heavily connected in the comics, even becoming romantically involved at several points, so we can probably expect to see them on screen together in the future now that she has ditched Mobius and the TVA and set out on her own quest. As Sylvie defied Loki, so Renslayer defied Mobius. But hey, that’s free will for ya baby.
I was pretty gutted to find out during the episode’s Planet of the Apes-esque cliffhanger that Mobius doesn’t remember Loki and that their friendship is now entirely one-sided, but I trust that these two will reconnect at some point. I can only assume that Owen Wilson will return for Season 2, and that assumption is just one thing keeping me happy right now as I bid goodbye to Loki for a while. I enjoyed watching every episode of this series, but I’m glad that in the Season 1 finale we not only got answers, but actually saw one of these Disney+ shows dare to impact the MCU in a major way, far beyond the kind of personal character and power development we saw with Wanda and Sam.
Yes, the multiverse has returned, and we have no idea what madness lies ahead, only that a war beyond our wildest nightmares with Kang at the center of it is coming. I couldn’t be more excited to find out what happens next or how Loki and the rest of the MCU denizens will play their parts as Phase 4 unravels.

So Disney Bought Fox
Well basically it's not 20th Century Fox anymore it's 21st Century Fox....okay I'm gonna be honest and will tag this. I had found out about this information on Tumblr and liked some posts that I'll reblog after this. But I didn't wanna talk about it because of a therapist also even at one point told her Disney are slowly taking over everything and I think Disney bought Fox that's what I told her.
Yet I wanted to see a video by TheFilmJunkee and it's just fucking hilarious. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dQN6aZdNgC4 I watched the video twice and well before the 2nd time I looked at some comments. Including before hand spoilers before I watched video I pressed the back button then I heard a song and clicked on the video again.
Including what's amazing the image seen in the video it's on Tumblr and it just makes me laugh now. Including rewinded just that part of him drinking and the song. Even after that I went didn't wanna watch videos but comments below a Hybrid Network video but not the biggest fan these days. Including trying to find out who wrote that Simpsons episode almost left the word Disney.
Turns out the guy who wrote the episode it's named, "When You Dish Upon A Star". The guy is still alive because seriously how in the hell are these predictions just what the fuck. I'm hearing Dave's voice from TheFilmJunkee reading this.
Yet okay I'll get to the main topic. But I wanna mention this and forgot to mention as the first thing. But I feel the other stuff is important. That joke yet actual concern from one of my posts. I said to myself twice the fear of Disney buying the rights to the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise in a way relates to this crap.
But just forgot stuff and.... basically I'll be more detailed and talk about my opinions on this.
Also seriously those comments trolls just can't let people fucking enjoy other shit that isn't the God damn MCU. I even yell at the comments and say you would be doing the same thing is Marvel was in DC's place. Just saying I like the DCEU while disappointed at Justice League because some shit done to the film just shook some seconds.
Also I remembered writing that paragraph now remember again. I was seriously thinking why was this December 14th date to buy Fox so close to Star Wars The Last Jedi close....listen contracts are different. Including this stupid idea I mean Disney has a lot of money so Star Wars can't make the amount of money if possible to pay I mean it's already payed. Yet read on those Tumblr posts it will be finalized.
Also the net neutrality guys I'll still talk about this too don't worry. I honestly wanna talk about this now I will get to the main subject of it.
I did not like the idea of Disney buying Fox. While I'm not the biggest fan of Fox. I've talked about stuff like competition and diversity in films like different genres. But basically competition I've heard helps.
But what sucks my friend okay I'll mention him @fatpinkraccoon423 just it seems like I couldn't word it right or be very meaningful about the idea. Yet he seems I forgot to like it or not care okay I forgot. Because I wanna be honest. Yet he said quite some critical things on the comic book movie genre.
Including I've had mention at times I seriously don't like Disney. This mainly started last year and increased this year. Because of Gravity Falls ending but it's creator choose to end the series but I never watched the finale.
Yet over time with Wander Over Yonder being cancelled before a season 3. My dislike towards Disney increased. While I enjoyed films like Zootopia, The Jungle Book, Moana, and the new Beauty And The Beast these two years or some shit.
Also my disliking towards the MCU and how it was handled. While just I sound stupid saying this about the DCEU but now I understand. It had problems including Warner Bros fucking up some of the films with Justice League being a very big case of that. Yet I like what those films are doing. Still haven't seen Suicide Squad have the movie and Justice League should have the Snyder cut.
I mean seriously the MCU films can be quite enjoyable. I'll say this I saw Spider-Man Homecoming three times this year and that was a MCU film but released under Sony's stuff.
Including all the shit people some MCU fans or just trolls can't just fucking accept some people don't like the MCU and how they approach their films. I will say they are doing a more safe route but I'm not on board with that shit.
Seriously I haven't gave a shit about cartoons like Star Vs The Forces Of Evil because I don't care sometimes after season 1 and possibly this happened close to Gravity Falls ending. While I enjoyed Milo Murphy's Law because of a post I've decided to not watch any Disney related channel unless it's on TV somewhere and I don't care, or when my cousin T's baby girl my niece basically is here.
I even haven't seen the new DuckTales reboot because I'm still pissed off and my thing of not watching any Disney related.
Even though I have thought a times should I watch it but no yet at times I think I forgot. I've even thought maybe liking the custom character in Sonic Forces might help me with that but no. Along with the other time I'll watch a Disney related channel if Wander Over Yonder is on. It only happened on a weekend and that sucks okay oh head I mean I should be grateful the fact we had three nights of episodes with Sunday basically being almost all day. But it just sucks I missed the first night.
But now to more important things. Despite I've seen thumbnails and read comments. I don't fucking want Disney to even try to mess certain properties.
The biggest ones being well I'm not the biggest fan of the X-Men franchise. Yet I did like Deadpool but any film that Marvel and is R rated don't mess with that crap.
But I did support the idea of Fantastic Four being in the MCU because after all the shit that happened. They need a better movie and I think the Fantastic Four are cool. Including they be better probably in the MCU.
Now wanna say before I talk about other franchises. I've thought to myself why bought Fox then I thought of that Streaming service they wanna do after departing from Netflix and shit. To own some tv shows and shit.
So now I'll talk about the other franchises. We have Avatar now. As in the film from 2009 and just a little note for Disney Infinity sorry to mention some concept art or something their were plans for some Avatar figures. Yet the franchise wasn't bought. Honestly I'm not the biggest fan. Really it's a franchise I don't care and Disney can have it possibly.
Then we have the Planet Of The Apes franchise, again not the biggest fan. Yet with the recent films I've haven't seen Dawn or War but seen Rise. I thought Rise was a good film saw that film three times yet well yeah with friends and shit. The other two sound great but haven't seen much of the originals but I guess some of the original film or I don't know if I've seen all of it. Honestly just it has it's fans and I don't know what to say. In fact I feel kind of bad about saying that Avatar just does it still have a fanbase. Seriously again I don't like the film much sorry okay I wanna get to this part.
The Alien and Predator franchises. Including yesterday I had talked about that gameplay video from Ghost Recon Wild Lands and that Predator stuff they added. I seriously praised it.
But it's those two I worry about and I haven't seen AVPGalaxy as of now. I looked on it some days ago. Their were no news about the Fox and Disney merging thing. I'm wondering if now they will talk about it.
These are two film franchises I like. I'm excited for the Predator film next year. But I'm worried and even saw a Hybrid Network video on this. My worst fears were they would cancel both series of films. I'm gonna say both franchises have their ups and downs. Yet just the addition of new films is sometimes nice. Including video games and such.
I'm gonna mention this the thumbnails and comments I mentioned I forgot saying they will still do R rated stuff okay now I looked I didn't mention it at that one part.
Including I don't know just if this official Fox has a lot of stuff. Is that they have DreamWorks which I was very surprised by. Unless I'm wrong correct me please. Also Blue Sky now I remember. Including was thinking of talking about this in a status update on Deviantart.
Looked at my last paragraph. Honestly I was thinking if it's the way I think and that God damn Simpsons prediction and shit. Is that 20th Century Fox or 21st Century Fox I wanna call them 20th Century instead of this weird shit I'm being stupid or whatever.
But if the films release under their banner yet their still connected to Disney also this talk about Touchstone films and some shit and others. I'm some what fine or....I don't want Disney interfering with this shit.
Including I just don't wanna everything to be God damn jokes and whatever. Sorry I just wanna make this and sometimes hear my own voice and now TheFilmJunkee's or whatever.
I'm just seriously don't want Disney to fuck shit up. Just thought Disney should of bought Sony yet thought oh shit PlayStation and shit.
Got tags done and they still have a 20th Century Fox tag nice I mean it wouldn't be gone. Also almost left tags as rags.
Just Disney don't fuck shit up. I mean okay these are my random opinions and I wanted to share these

Planet of The Disney Apes
The following is a humorous one-shot of some of the PoTA characters reacting to the news of being bought by Disney and the possible fourth movie while poking fun at the characters. Doesn’t really follow the usual setting for the PoTA universe, just something random to laugh at.
Enjoy!
~~~~~
Thump!
“ Allie like tea?” Bad Ape asked his plush alligator (which he apparently named it ‘Ali’…Of course he’d give that old thing a name) as he offered it a plastic tea cup.
Thump!
“Why isn’t there anything good on to watch?” Complained McCullough, as he flipped through the TV stations.
“Looney Tunes is on.” Suggested Preacher, though he looked uncomfortable sitting on the couch next to the Colonel.
“That’s for children.” McCullough remarked. “Besides, it might give Donkey and One Eye ideas.”
Caesar wasn’t sure why he was so annoyed. The longer he sat on the floor, the more he wanted to break something…Particuarly, McCullough’s skull…But wait, he always felt like doing that!
Hmm…Then maybe what he wanted to break was the blasted tea set that Bad Ape had found and insisted on having a Tea Party with his plush alligator…No, that’s too mean!
All Bad Ape did was invite-no! Drag him and Winter into playing with him…To be honest, Caesar didn’t object because he couldn’t find a good reason not to.
Besides, Rocket was baking cookies and offered to give them to Bad Ape for their little Tea Party! Ever since the balding chimpanzee discovered the oven and the magic of cookie mix, he’s turned the kitchen into a cookie factory.
Caesar guessed that Bad Ape only invited Winter so he wouldn’t feel left out but Winter likely only said yes because he knew Bad Ape was, more than likely, the only one in the room who won’t manipulate him or try to kill him.
Thump!
No, it wasn’t the Tea Party or McCullough’s presence that was annoying him…It was Koba and Red playing darts….And using HIS picture as the target!
What will stop them from using the real thing? He wondered bitterly. Why does Red and Koba have darts anyway?…Why does Bad Ape have a Tea Set and why does Winter have a Barbie doll collection?
Preacher glanced around nervously, trying to think of another suggestion. “Ok, uhh…What about King Kong? That’s not for kids.”
McCullough snorted. “We’re living with King Kong, Preacher-and there’s more than one!”
Just then, the front door slammed open. “Father?!”
Blue Eyes.
Finally! Someone who doesn’t want to kill me or isn’t childish!
“Blue Eyes?” Caesar called back.
Blue Eyes ran into the room and paused at the scene before him. Eyes darting from his father sitting on the floor with Winter and Bad Ape, McCullough and Preacher on the couch and Red and Koba behind them.
“Uhh…What going on?” He asked.
Before Caesar could answer, Bad Ape exclaimed: “It a Tea Party!” Which, of course, prompted snickers from Koba and Red.
“You mean YOU’RE having a Tea Party!” McCullough corrected. “The rest of us are relaxing like REAL men!”
A bing suddenly came from he kitchen and then Rocket, sounding every bit like the ape-reincarnation of the Cookie Monster himself, squealed: “COOKIES!!!” Very shortly after, he appeared with a platter full of the chocolate chip goods.
Blue Eyes, still not sure what to make of the unusual scene, blinked. “…Ok…” Then he remembered why he was there at all. “Fox! Sold us!”
Now it was Caesar’s turn to be confused. “What?” He asked.
McCullough, barely listening shrugged. “So we’re moving studios. Big deal-“
“Disney bought us!!!” Blue Eyes blurted out., causing everyone to gasp. Even Koba and Red dropped their darts.
“Disney?” Caesar stood up, forgetting all about the Tea Party. “You mean the-?”
“Yes!” Answered Blue Eyes with growing panic.
“With the-“
“Yes!”
Caesar felt panic rising himself at that point. “Oh no…”
“They’re making. FOURTH MOVIE!!!”
If the others weren’t scared before, they definitely were now. The only one who wasn’t hooting like the other apes, or saying ‘no’ like McCullough, was Bad Ape. He picked up his alligator plush.
“What going on?” He asked it.
He made the stuffed animal turn to the others and back to himself and then shake it’s head. As if to say ‘I don’t know.’
Bad Ape hummed in thought. “Join in?” He asked.
He shook the plush up and down in a nodding motion.
“Ok!” Bad Ape replied before making panicked hoots of his own.
“Guys please!” Turns out, Preacher was the only one, other than Bad Ape who wasn’t panicking. “We don’t need to panic here!-We all know what happens when we panic!”
“Oh look who’s suddenly more than just a yes-man!” Snarked McCullough as he too stood up from the couch.
Preacher frowned at him. “So would you rather have Koba make a death list, Red pick up fights with everyone, Winter’s old phobias return, Rocket to eat all the cookie-dough ice cream we have, Caesar act grumpy all the time and sigh ‘why me?’ when he’s alone and you to drink yourself into a stupor instead of talking about this like ‘real men’?”
That left McCullough speechless for a moment. “That doesn’t happen when we’re stressed-!”
“Not! Stressed!” Rocket interjected. Before inching his way back into the kitchen. “…Want. Ice cream. Now…” He added before disappearing back inside.
….Maybe they should stop buying the cookie mix and ice cream for a while…
Red suddenly noticed Koba was no longer with him and glanced around for the scarred bonobo. “Kob-“
Just as suddenly as Koba disappeared, he reappeared with two guns and handed one to the confused Red. “Get gun!” He yelled out, startling everyone.
“Koba, what are you-“ Koba answered before Caesar could finish the question.
“Going! To war! Kill! Mouse! Kill! All! Of them!”
Realization set in to what he meant. Caesar and Blue Eyes glanced at each other in fear and Winter, scared beyond belief, hid behind Bad Ape-who was busy eating cookies in the midst of all of this.
“Uhh, Koba?” Preacher’s past look of confidence was gone…Possibly due to the fact he was talking to the very ape who started the whole Human-Ape War to begin with. “Not to ruin your dreams of mass murder, but the Disney kind of rules the world and…Well, Mickey Mouse is their pet. If you kill him, I’m 99% sure you’ll get the death penalty AND be cursed a thousand times over.”
Koba frowned at him, looking as though he was contemplating adding the young soldier to his ‘death list’. “Stupid human! Am already dead! They! Can’t do! Anything! To Koba!” He then turned to Red. “Red. Follow?” He asked.
Red honestly didn’t know how to answer him. He still had more respect for Koba than he did for Caesar, and would still follow Koba but even he knew this was crazy. “…I…Don’t think we. Have enough bullets.”
Koba’s eyes went wide as he realized that was true. “Oh nuts!”
“It doesn’t matter if we fight them, Disney will likely ruin our franchise anyway.” McCullough fumed. “Look what they did with the Marvel and Star Wars franchise! They all suffer from Dead Horse Syndrome!”
“Colonel.” Caesar interrupted, trying to stop his rant-to no avail.
“And lets not forget all the ANNOYING songs and musicals, the cash-grabbing remakes and the worst of the worst! The Air Buddies!”
“Not Air Buddies!” Yelped Blue Eyes.
Koba growled, which made Red’s eyes widen. “You not plan. To kill puppies, do you?”
“No!” Koba half yelled at the rusted furred gorilla. “I kill! The MERCH!”
“…Red likes puppies?” Asked Blue Eyes, in a less panic voice.
Red’s face flushed before twisting into a scowl. “I’m. Allowed. To like things!”
There was an awkward pause before Winter, finally, said something. “…I like puppies too…And kittens…And cookies.” He finished by taking a cookie and eating it whole.
