Weekly Shonen Jump might have a hit...

One of the newest releases in WSJ within the past 3 weeks has caught my eye and it is giving me the same feeling Jujutsu Kaisen gave me when it first released with chapter 1..

Like I said there are only three chapters out so we still don't know if it'll get the shōnen jump axe (RIP PPPPPP), but the potential of it being a long-lasting series is very palpable. I don't want to say too much and spoil the first three chapters, but I will say that the mangaka (Yoshihiko Hayashi) is doing a great job of world building and writing character introspection.

I am very excited to follow this series, and every week I am going to release a chapter analysis (hopefully) in order to track my thoughts and the stories progress. I hope some of you get interested and keep up with my writings!

Another batch of new Weekly Shonen Jump series is coming starting with MamaYuyu by Yoshihiko Hayashi. This is a great introduction, although it feels more like a one-shot, with plenty left to go into detail about later.

Yoshihiko Umakoshi (best range of expressions - Umakoshi is the master of the Todo-fam animation in general)

Yuki Hayashi (coolest BAMF Shotos)

Yukata Nakamura (nuff said - everyone knows this scene - Power S Shoto)

Shun Shibata (these drawings are enchanting and on point)

Anna Yamaguchi (fluffy hair 10/10)

Yuki Fujii (great expression)

Akiko Otsuka (coolest fire stuff)

Minami Sakura (really dreamy Shoto)

Kouki Fujimoto (so round + eyes)
