2018 KBS Drama Awards - December 31, 2018
Best Youth Actor (Nam Da-Reum)
Severiz 😊
Radyo da program yöneticiliği yapan Lee Gang(Yoon Park) çıktığı 1 yıllık tatilinden geri dönünce duruma el atar. Ana yazar olarak Geu-Rim’i yanına alır.
Forecasting Love and Weather ve You Are My Spring dizilerindeki karakterlerini sevemesem de bu dizi onun dizisiydi diyebilirim.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Solo me queda decir que ¡¡AMÉ INFINITAMENTE A SPLASH SPLASH LOVE, MUCHO, DEMASIADOOOO!!
Tumblr media
Le doy a Splash Splash Love 5 ★★★★★ estrellas.
OST: 4 estrellas
Actuación: 5 estrellas
Personajes: 4.5 estrellas

Splash Splash Love
Synopsis:
Dan Bi, a senior in high school who gave up on mathematics, runs away to the Joseon era on the day of the SAT. Once there she is mistaken for a goblin and then a eunuch where she finds her knowledge in the modern world make her a genius in the Joseon period. She is placed in service to the King who is passionate about mathematics, and science. While she teaches the King what she knows, she learns about herself along the way.
The Best Things About This Drama:
The story is short and sweet and just FUN
The attention to plot detail
The natural physicality of the leads
Ko Kyu Pil
I'll give it a 4/5. It was really well written without any loose ends, you get the feels without being emotionally wrecked, it makes you laugh, and you can just enjoy a really good story with likeable characters. This would be a great one for people who have never watched a K-Drama before.

Memories Of Murder
“Memories Of Murder” is a master class in filmmaking, but is bogged down only by its adherence to real-life events.
Park Doo-man is a detective who believes he can tell whether or not a culprit is guilty or innocent just by looking into their eyes. Seo Tae-yoon is a detective from Seoul and prefers to stick to hard evidence and facts. After a series of murders, all carried out in the same fashion, it’s determined that they have a serial killer on their hands. While the murders are happening, Park Doo-man and Seo Tae-yoon clash over their differences in detective work.
Before watching this movie, I had no idea that this movie was inspired by the real-life murders of Hwaseong. Perhaps if I had known beforehand, I would’ve enjoyed the movie a lot more. The reason why I didn’t have such a great time with this movie was because of how the movie wanted the audience to be invested in circumstantial evidence. While Park Doo-man and Seo Tae-yoon were chasing down some pervert who masturbated in the forest, I was thinking about how his actions didn’t outright make him the murderer. When Inspector Kwon brought up that she noticed the song “Sad Letter” play every night a murder took place, I just thought how the murderer could like operating on rainy nights and someone else could want the radio station to play a specific song on rainy nights. It felt like such a reach that I couldn’t get on board with it. The only things that felt remotely like a lead were the red dress theory and the rainy night theory. Both of them turned out to be false in the end, but it was still in the realm of believability. I feel like if there was a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie saying that this movie was based on true events, then I would’ve been praising the movie for showcasing the incompetence of the police at the time. Instead, I was focusing on trying to figure out who the killer was before it was revealed with really bad clues. Still, this is a Bong Joon-Ho movie, so it’s chock-full of amazing filmmaking. For starters, I thought the reverse arcs of both Park Doo-man and Seo Tae-yoon were brilliant. It turned Park Doo-man, a character I hated, into one that I genuinely enjoyed thoroughly. It turned Seo Tae-yoon, a character I was rooting for, into a complex and interesting character. Bravo to Bong Joon-Ho for that. I know there was a lot of consideration when it came to the music in the movie. The main score is fantastic and still plays in my head as I write this review. Some songs felt out of place or awkward when matched with the tone of the scene. I think the highlights were definitely the legendary stand-off on the train tracks and the final shot. Those, for me, cemented this movie as something special in Bong Joon-Ho’s already stellar filmography. While movies like “Memories Of Murder” or “Zodiac” feel like empty mysteries, I’m glad we finally know the actual murderers of both those movies in the real world.

Touch Your Heart / Reach of Sincerity (2019)
Tumblr media
I really liked this show. It was fun, quirky and cute with a few heavy moments to keep the show grounded. Not a headliner, but something you can put on and just hang out with for an hour or so and still enjoy.
What Worked
Yoo In-na carried the show. She was just a super cute ball of charm, and all the scenes with her and Lee Dong-wook (who not exactly grumpy, but definitely uptight) were great. This was the happy version of the same couple from Goblin, and I was there for it. The supporting cast was great as well, though only Oh Jung-se's performance was super memorable for me.
What Didn't Work
This show is not very realistic. Most of the time that works, but once in awhile a plot line or a scene will kind of fall flat. Also, I personally didn't like the Choi Yoon-hyuk / Dan Moon-hee pairing. The actors were fine on their own, but a bit too much together.
The Performances
Yoo In-na as Oh Jin-shim / Oh Yoon-seo, AKA "The Talent". Yoo In-na was so much fun to watch. She is just a really great comic actor who knows all about timing and has tons of charm.
Lee Dong-wook as Kwon Jung-rok, AKA "the Ace Attorney". It's funny how you can see him playing an angel of death in one series, and a straitlaced lawyer in another and they somehow end up being very similar characters. I still enjoyed watching him, especially when he was able to open up towards the end of the series, but the character felt very familiar to me after seeing Goblin.
Oh Jung-se as Yeon Joon-kyu, AKA "Fanboy CEO". I liked Oh Jung-se in this. His character was talking, extremely petty, and very funny. May favorite role for him since maybe IOK2NBOK.
Lee Sang-woo as Kim Se-won, AKA "The Bestie". He was billed as the second lead, but this felt more like a supporting role. I enjoyed him when he was there, especially his banter with Lee Dong-wook's character and the whole arc for him, but I didn't miss him when he was off screen.
Son Seong-yoon as Yoo Yeo-reum, AKA "Bestie's Ex". I liked this character, but the show didn't do much with the character arc, overall. Nice, but not memorable.
Jang So-yeon as Yang Eun-ji, AKA "Office Mom". I enjoyed seeing this actor again after her much bigger role in Something in the Rain. I don't like the arc they gave her, but it didn't really detract from the show, just kind of went nowhere.
Park Ji-hwan as Lee Doo-seob, AKA "Secret Poet". I liked seeing this actor, after watching him in Our Blues. I really related to this character, but they didn't really do much with him (other than a small love arc). Another case where they had a really good actor in a quiet role.
Oh Eui-shik as Kong Hyuk-joon, AKA "the Manager". It was fun seeing this guy play off of the other characters, but he was mostly there for comic relief and sometimes moving the plot forward. Not super memorable.
Everyone Else. The rest of the office staff was good, but not memorable. The guy that played the stalker / chaebol crook (Jay Kim) did a good job, but I was kind of glad when they moved past that plot line. I didn't like the "Black Widow" murder plot, but the actors did okay with what they were given.
TL; DR:
A charming romp with two amazing leads, and a good cast of supporting actors that didn't get much attention. But the fireworks from the leads were more than enough to carry the show.
