Mam, I'm stuck with board exams so I can't message 😭. BUT! I do need you to write me an headcannon where Hayan finds out out Yohan is bi and have something going on with Vael in the original universe, thus chaos raises, postponing Yohan's suicide plan in the process.

Oh, dear. Original universe? A tricky one since their relationship is pretty much broken 😅 but I'll try my best!

Hayan finding out Yohan is bi:

She probably doesn't even know what "bi" is

"Bi? Like bipedal? Aren't we all?" *Cue the loudest facepalm you could hear (was it Euntae or Jinha?)

Euntae would probably try explaining it to her but fails bc he gets flustered talking about sexuality (to her). He leaves her even more confused

Jinha tries to explain using fruits:

Jinha: So... Let's say that straight men like apples and straight women like, uh, bananas-

Vael: Really?

Jinha: Shut up- Anyways, so if straight men like apples and straight women like bananas, that means that gay men likes bananas and not apples, you follow?

Hayan: Yeah, makes sense

After that she's pretty chill about it, doesn't really know what to do with that information tbh

In an AU or something if Hayan and Yohan have a good relationship she'll probably be the most supportive sister you could think of, probably to the point of embarrassing Yohan lol

Hayan finding out Yohan and Vael are probably involved in a relationship:

At first she worries that Vael is using them after all

But Vael keeps assuring her that he's on their side, that he doesn't know how his relationship with Yohan started getting intimate and he wasn't sure how to stop it

So now she's worried about Vael's wellbeing and wants to help but doesn't know how bc she's pretty new to having friends, let alone romantic relationships

She can't ask Euntae for advice either bc he's really biased against Yohan, he'll probably say something like "cut him off and get over it, he's not worth it" but Hayan suspects is a lot more complicated than that

This also makes her determination for revenge wave off a little. She's confused, she doesn't think Vael would get so intimately involved with Yohan if he didn't have some good in him, right? Maybe, just maybe the Yohan she loved like family was still there somewhere, if only she could reach him...

Aaaaand that's it!! Sorry it took some time, I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with this. Wasn't sure if I wanted to point to a possible redemption or tragic ending for everyone, so I left it open to imagination!

Never in my whole life of 16 years (iyyy!! Today is my birthday!!)) Have I thought I will sympathies with the Villain of Unholy Blood.

But here I am. Yohan is living rent free in my head.....not only sympathies, I fucking rooted for him subconsciously. That fucker messed up, but he ended up setting up a well crafted stage where he played the Villain and made Hayan the heroine. That's what he did in my eyes. I don't know if l read in between the lines or people are just blind to see, but whatever he did until the end was a goddamn set up for his grand suicide plan.

I have said it before and I will say it again.

Yohan fucking Seo was a suicidal psychopathic Maniac. You can not change my mind.

That basterd lured the beast knowing full well he will be killed. And he did it deliberately.

Everything from not sending the angel of death in a group to Euntae not finding anything suspicious on Yohan's head office.

He never planned to control the humans turned vampires. Hell they never turned vampires to begin with. He only planned the vaccines. As you can already guess, that fucker lied his way to his death door.

If you have any doubts about my theory, reread the manhwa, there is clearly written that there was nothing in his office that indicates that he was going to hypothesize the public. This is on the last chapter. Euntae admitted this to Vael. In response Vael comments how much of a complicated guy Yohan was. (My fujoshi head jumped into conclusion right after....damn the author for installing my shipper head into a heterosexual romance with homosexual ships, what the fuck...)

The other question-"was he really suicidal or only petty little shit?"

Yes, he was suicidal. It hinted, back to back how much he wanted to die.

From the conversation with Levi on the episode where they had well...you know what I mean...to his repeated dialogues to Hayan, saying only to hate him. Because if Hayan does not hate him, if she becomes soft, he will do the unimaginable. And he will have to weigh yet another guilt through his whole life, there was no one capable of killing him other than Hayan.

I hope that clears up.

In my eyes Yohan was a character who made the world his stage and the people in it his puppet, only to for him to die and give Hayan a normal life. (Liam, is that you...?) I don't know what the author had in her head when writing his character, but whatever she did was fantastic if not only neglected. If only she had focused more on the characters and the story Yohan would have had a better ending. Focused on shipping and fan service had this story going. His character was made to be more complex, it was clear. The author might have neglected while rushing the story with a satisfying ending.(the end was descent, but not anticlimactic like I hope it to be) if you read the story from a different prospective will know what I mean.

As someone who loves graytoned and dark characters with tragic past (and present) I enjoyed Yohan's character more than Hayan, I am ganna be honest here. I really didn't hope him to get such... pitiful ending. His tragedy was overlooked and misread. What pissed me off was the narrative of "because he was abuse, because he the Villain his only ending was to die pitifully by the superior being called 'pure blood'". He was a abused broken kid. He needed councilling not superhuman powers. He already messed up in the head enough, the powers and the railing he got from his bullies made him snap. The thread of sanity he was clinging to was destroyed.

More importantly, the guy only wanted a sorry from his bullies, who did god knows how many awful things to him.

He was no pure blood, he was only a human with the worst situation.

He's not great at containing his anger, but he had been trying for you.

Of course, his first instinct is to tend to your wounds, take you to the hospital, etc.

But as soon as your condition is stable enough, the question arrives.

It honestly doesn't matter if you tell him or not, he'll find out either way. And he'll kill those bastards either way as well.

Back to the “tending to your wounds” situation, he’s incredibly gentle.

He aquired a lot of experience with that when he was a kid, and knows exactly what to do to avoid hurting you while curing you. His face through the whole process shows how worried he is.

He also feels guitly, since the man is convinced that every single disgrace in your life is due to him being a part of it.

He’s already quite overprotective of you, so after you get hurt this only intensifies. He insists on being by your side 24/7.

His reaction also depends on wether you are a vampire or not.

If you are a human, the probabilities of him losing his fucking mind increase a 100%

He’s constantly worried because he sees humans as fragile creatures. You are like a little sheep to him, ya’know?

In conclusion, whoever did it, is dead, and you’ll have the most dangerous man in the world acting like your servant until you recover.

BAAL | VAEL

The only thing that matters here is you.

It’s not that he doesn’t want to take care of whoever hurt you, but he knows how to organize his priorities, and you’ll always be at the top of the list.

If your wounds aren’t that bad, he’ll tend to them himself. He’s good at it.

He truly can’t stand seeing those who are important to him in pain, especially you.

The man will try everything to make you feel better. 

And won’t leave you alone for a second.

Daniel is there too, trying to cheer you up.

Of course, he has no intention of leaving those who did this to you running around freely, representing a risk for you.

I feel like he tries to avoid killing others as much as he possibly can, but if there’s no other option, he’ll have to do it.

And if I’m being honest, I don’t think he’ll feel particularly guilty about it. He did what he had to do to protect you after all.

Prepare yourself for him lecturing you, though.

But don’t take it the wrong way, he’s just too worried and projects the anger he feels with himself towards you.

He has some trouble with his temper. Can act very composed if he wants to, but the thing is that sometimes, he doesn't want to.

Like when some motherfuckers think that they can hurt you without consequences, for example.

The moment you get home all covered in blood, it only takes him a second to think of a hundred ways whoever did this to you could be tortured before killing them.

He's a smart man, with knowledge in medicine. Knows exactly how to help you recover. He'll tend to your wounds and give you painkillers and antibiotics. It never fails to impress you how quickly it is to feel better when he's helping you out.

It also never fails to impress you how quick he is to get everything he wants because, by the time he's done with your bandages, the men he sent to look for your attackers already found them and brought them to him.

I'm gonna be honest, it doesn't matter if you ask him not to kill them, he won't listen to you. Don't get me wrong, he does listen almost all the time, but not when it comes to your safety.

Will literally ground you as if you were a little kid. "No leaving the house." He says. And it's veeery hard to make him change his mind. You'll have to beg him before he even considers letting you go out on your own.

The truth is that he's terrified. Especially if you are a human and your attackers were vampires. He knows how easy it would be for them to just kill you if they wanted to, he's one of them after all.

Still, he's the type of boyfriend who spoils. In his own way, but he does.

Expect lots of attention afterwards. He'll be a bit paranoid about your injuries being more serious than they seemed, so he'll keep an eye on you.

Constantly asking "How are you feeling?" "Are you alright? Anything weird?"

Fucking adorable, but don't mention it.

LUCIAN

Oh, fuck no.

This man has a terrible temper and has never cared for hiding it or supressing it, why would he start now?

He isn't very good at tending to wounds, and if he's honest with himself, he feels a bit incompetent at it. He would never want someone incompetent to tend to your wounds, so he immediately calls for his personal when he sees you.

Once he makes sure that you are okay, he'll leave you with them to go "make some matters clear" which, in Lucian, means "someone's gonna die today."

Much like Mamon, he doesn't give two fucks about what you want or not when it comes to the bastards who attacked you. He'll kill them either way.

Listen, he has to set an example. If other vampires start thinking that the angel of death won't do anything to them after messing with his partner, they'll strike again. And he won't let that happen.

He's also very upset with himself, though his ego would never allow him to admit that to you.

You took the risk of loving him, and he was supposed to protect you from his dangerous lifestyle. He feels like he failed you.

Things like this are what make him feel like he should get as far away from you as possible, but at the same time, he wouldn't trust anyone other than himself to look out for you.

Will have bodyguards around you for a while after the incident. Even if you tell him you don't need them, he'll just tell them to hide from you.

Do't get him wrong, he'd love to respect your wishes, but he wouldn't forgive himself if anything happened to you.

SAHAN

This one has literal anger issues. Like, very serious anger issues.

Once he's enraged, no one can calm him down. And he had never been as enraged as the moment he saw you cross the door.

Do these people even know who he is? What he can do to them?

He'll take you to a hospital, unless you are a vampire, of course. He isn't bad at tending to wounds, but you should have a professional taking care of you, not some school conselour who took a two-day course on first aids.

His hypnosis can be very helpful sometimes. He has a strict rule that involves not using it on you, but if it's to take your pain away for a moment, he'll do it.

This one would also finish off whoever did it. He wouldn't even think of not doing so. And let me tell you, he'd enjoy it.

He also happens to be the type that would reprimend you as if you were a child. "What were you thinking?" "Why didn't you call him?"

He had never been in love before. Sure, he had a couple of girlfriends, but he didn't love them. He doesn't know what to do about it, so his first instinct is to be super overprotective of you.

Will use his ability to make sure that no one remebers the fact that you exist.

He's angry at himself because he thought he had been subtle enough about you, but apparently he'll have to do better.

Might use this whole incident as an excuse for both of you to move in together, you know, so he can take care of you.

And partly he does think about it that way, but living with you is also a nice idea.

When You Give Them A Present For Valentine's Day

Disclaimer: Vampires can't eat anything other than blood in normal circumstances, so I did this as general gifts.

YOHAN SEO

First and foremost, I have to clarify that he has never ever had someone gift him anyithing in his whole life.

Much less for Valentine's day. He has never had a formal relationship before.

Of course, this doesn't mean he doesn't know how it all works. He even got you your favourite flowers along with some other gifts.

He never expected anything back, though. In fact, it didn't even cross his mind that you would want to give him somethin as well.

In a way, he feels like you are doing him a favor by dating him, he doesn't feel worthy enough.

So when you cross the door with a huge smile and something you got exclusively for him, he's shocked.

It's something very special to him, it makes him feel like he finally has hapiness in his life, thanks to you.

He'll be so, so moved. Will probably hug you as tightly as ever before kissing you.

You are lucky, you know? The most dangerous man in the country is a fool for you.

I don't think he'd be one to express how he feels about you very often, mainly because of the fear of being rejected or vulnerable, but you know that those rare occassions when he verbally expresses what you are to him are incredibly important for him.

So when he says that he loves you, you can't help but jump at his arms again.

VAEL | BAAL

Another guy who doesn't recieve any sort of gifts very often.

Also, I actually feel like he'd specifically ask you not to give him anything.

Not because he doesn't want anything from you or anything like that, I just picture him as someone who loves to give, but isn't used to recieveing.

Of course, you weren't gonna listen to him.

The fact that you decided to give him a gift makes him feel so special.

It makes him feel like he has found a family aside from Daniel, and that means a lot to him.

The fact that you also took the time to choose something that you knew he wanted was very moving as well.

I don't think he'd ever spent valentine's day with someone else, so he's very glad he got to spend it with you.

And, of course, hopes he'll spend every valentine to come like this one.

And he obviously got you something he knew you would love, the man is a hopeless romantic. I'm sure Valentine's day is his favourite holiday now.

He's usual state is bombarding you with kisses and any type of physical affection, so you won't be able to escape tonight.

MAMON

This is definitely a man who is known for being a great observer.

I'm sure he has the perfect gift for you not only for valentine's day, but for christmas and you birthday with months of anticipation.

If you mention that you liked something you saw while you guys were out, he'll come back the next day and buy it. The man won't risk the item selling out.

He also memorizes every single thing about you. Not in a creepy way, but he's great at remembering things, especially when it has to do with you. You are important to him.

This means the guy knows your top 10 favotite flowers, your clothing size, what kind of jewelry you like... Everything.

And because he know how much you mean to him and how important these dates are because they are chances for him to show you that he loves you, It surprises him whenever you remind him that he means just as much to you.

You taking the time to remember the things he likes seems incredibly surprising to him.

And don't take this the wrong way, but he knows that he's better with remembering and learning things than you are. He appreciates the extra effort enormously.

I don't think he's as affectionate in the conventional way, but expect him telling you how much he loves you and kissing you all night. Only for today, only for you.

LUCIAN

He sees Valentine's day as a way to show himself off with you.

The guy has a whole plan for the day.

He will cover the entire apartment with hundreds of flowers for when you wake up. You have no idea how the hell he did that without waking you up.

He has such a great taste, the man will personally choose a dress for you, becuse he's taking you out to a fancy restaurant tonight.

Much like Mamon, Lucian takes mental notes of things he notices you like when you go out. He sends his men to get them the moment you both get home.

He occassionaly gives you those things the moment he has them in his hands, but he'll keep the best ones for important dates.

Have you ever seen those scenes in movies where the guy romantically places a necklace he bought for the girl around her neck? That. That. That.

You might not believe me, but he wouldn't care at all if you didn't gift him anything. He firmly believes this day is for you more than for him.

Still, the man gets really excited with gifts. He's like a kid on Christmas morning.

Naturally, it means even more when the gift comes from you. He actually has a special section in his closet of things you have gifted him. Those are the ones he wears for special occassions.

In all honesty, Lucian, a powerfull vampire, sees you as a cute little tiny thing. So, whenever you do something nice for him, His reaction is summed up to an "Awwwee."

SAHAN

As I've said before, I do believe he has had formal relationships before, but never with someone he actually loves.

So, for the first time in his life, Valentine's day is an important date to him.

I feel like this guy lives in constant fear of disappointing you and, consequently, losing you.

He puts a lot of effort in today. Thankfully, he has a long list of things his ex's have yelled at him for not doing on Valentine's, so he knows what women expect.

And better than that, and contrary to the other girls, he has taken his time to get to know you way better that he knows himself.

He knows what you like.

He'll part from there.

When you come to him with a present for him, it takes him completely off-guard.

He doesn't know how to react to someone giving him something without expecting anything back.

You make it hard for him! How will he move on from you when you realize he isn't worth your time? He'll never love again! How dare you?!

Sahan doesn't have any problem with phyisical affection, so expect him to hug you so hard you'll feel like you can't breathe.

He couldn't be any happier about you being in his life.

You have made him a better person, the least he can do is to meet your expectations.

I picture him as someone who wouldn't be a big fan of pet names, specially at first. Eventually, he'd probably regard his lover as "my love." He likes the classics, and he also believes It's the only pet name that gets a bit close to describing how he feels for you.

BAAL | VAEL

He's totally the most romantic guy ever. He has thousands of nicknames for you. His favorites are probably "love, honey and darling." I can also picture him saying sweetheart, however, I feel like he would have a very specific nickname for you to tease you. A nickname that you say you hate, but you actually don't.

MAMON

He's a serious, formal guy. I feel like he isn't a fan of cheesy stuff at all, but it's not because he doesn't care or because he doesn't love you enough. It's just not his style. He mainly says your name with a loving, affectionate tone. Maybe a diminutive of your name, if possible. Sometimes, he'll regard you as "dear."

LUCIAN

He's such a flirty man, even after being in a relationship for a while. His pet names for you are probably veeery inappropiate. Besides his obscene comments, he regards you as either "darling," or "love." I can picture him saying "gorgeous" as well.

SAHAN

Ugh this one is the type to pretend he doesn't care, but cares so much. He usually calls you by your name, but when he's too busy to think about holding himself back, he calls you "doll." He would totally be one to use suggestive pet names to tease you.
