FNaF has actually been a rlly big part of my life ngl, its what got me into horror and into the furry fandom, so even if im not fully happy with its current state ill always look at it fondly :]

OOC: Richie timeline au (an au I created) in more depth:

This will not be canonically correct to the Lords In Black, or any chronological timeline.

SPOILERS FOR MOST HATCHETFIELD LORE AHEAD!

It started when the muscial apocalypse broke through (TGWDLM). Richie had been at school at the time, and it hadn’t taken long for it to get to the school. It got everywhere. Pete had the smart idea of leaving, getting in his brother’s shitty car and trying to get out of town. Ruth, Pete, Steph, Grace and Richie all made their way down, and saw Paul, Ted + others all getting killed, becoming infected. Soon they all did too, there was no way they could leave. In his final moments, Richie had ended up finding an old time watch, tied to Tinky, which he was unaware of. He was just grabbing it to have something, some sort of weapon- but he knew he was dying, so he made one final wish, although he had no expectation of it coming true.

“I wish I could’ve stopped this in a different timeline.”

Richie remembers dying, and of course he thinks it’s all over now.

Everything was black, and then there a blinding orange light.

Richie woke up with a blaring headache, feeling like he got dragged up from the dead.

The date was a couple months before this had all happened, a day he’d had to stay at Paul’s as his parents traveled for work. He was so confused, and scared, but he was compelled to find Paul, who was perfectly fine.. how was he perfectly fine? He just watched him die.

Richie throws himself at Paul, hugging him and crying, trying to speak but not getting much through his tears, just saying how glad he was that he was alive. Paul assumes this was some sort of weird nightmare, and just awkwardly tries to comfort him.

Richie tries to get through his day, thinking it was all just a big nightmare, but he can’t help but think about all the inconsistencies in that logic.

That night he has a dream. A blinding orange light again, and Tinky’s voice. Tinky clarifies he did him a favour, gave him what he wanted. He clarifies what this means for Richie, that he asked to be able to save people in a seperate timeline, so now he can. But if he’s unable, the timeline will end and he’ll end up here again.

He’ll have to do it again. (But it will be a different story every time.)

But just as Richie asks how he’s supposed to save everyone, the dream ends.

He can be confused at times, and seem a little off, but he usually stays somewhat normal.

He’s gone through so many timelines, not being able to save anyone and waking up again and again and again, every time on the same date- the horrible things don’t ever happen immediately, so he gets to live his life for a couple months before a disaster happens.

He writes down the date of every new disaster, of every time he’s died.
