Kai: The scottish meaning of it is literally fire (In other cultures it has more ocean imagery though)

Cole: coal

Ronin Kognito: Ron- incognito

flintlock: name of a gun

lloyd Garmadon: sounds like lord garmadon

dubloon: Two faced character, two faced coin

monkey wretch: is monkey

scales: snakes have scales

pythor p chumsworth: He is vaguely like a python, and should not be your chum

neuro: neurology

tox: toxic like poison

Shade: shady mf- I mean shadows create shade

obscura: Shade obscures things

cinder: By product of combustion like smoke

ash: pretty much the same thing a cinder

chamille: master of disguise, chamileon

Nyad: Naiad, I know I'm spelling that wrong but I'm refering to those ancient greek water nymphs.

Pixal: Pixel

kalmaar: kalimari

Tox: toxic

Shade: master of shadow, self explanatory

it is incredibly easy to tell when people can not write simon blackquill because his speech — at least for his TwIsTeD sAmUrAi persona — is so distinct. it’s difficult for me to explain in words, but if you look at the game transcripts for any period of time you should be able to get a sense for it and it is so aggravating to see fanworks where he isn’t yapping like some victorian era chap with a disposition for the macabre. a heinous fiend pried from the pages of penny dreadful.

before I forget Tomorrow and/or in a matter of hours. don’t recall the exact numbers. remastered video game Ghost Trick releases on nintendo switch and steam and elsewhere also. there’s a demo available. you should play that. I have it on good authority that the entire game is as good

Oh yeah, fun update on my writing. Currently writing Furina fic parallel/sequel Neuvillette fic (It starts mid-furina fic with their meeting and then goes past the ending of that). So the thing is, I don't normally write with music on (even non-lyrical stuff tends to distract me) but for some reason I've been writing with Turnabout: The Ace Attorney Musical playing in the background pfft. Which is simultaneously very apt because Fontaine, but also not remotely because I've not been writing any trial stuff yet (well hmmm u could maybe argue it but no). Me jamming out to "It's Gotta Be the Butz!" while writing Neuvillette and Furina losing their minds hahahaha. What a time.
