In a TMA AU, what do you think Toby would be an Avatar of?

Ohhhh what a good question. Some characters are really difficult to pin down for specific entities, and some are way easier (for me, for example, Jim would be of The Hunt, Claire of The Dark, etc (unashamedly stolen from @beannary 's Flesh and Bone TMA AU fic, I love it lots and actually got me into the podcast))

These are very loose ideas, but I think either The End, or The Lonely. The End, having the deaths of not just family, but constant social and interpersonal deaths being a theme for him. The Lonely is an easy choice as well, as I headcanon him to have abandonment issues with people he's closest too (cough cough Airheads cough cough "I thought since we'd found it together, we'd always do this together")

The first is the fact that you haven't taken your girlfriend's advice. You have what she calls weak noodle arms. The second is that you're eye level with Gideon's chest. This is only on rare occasion something enjoyable (not that you'll ever admit it in the light of day), and Gideon passing out at the table when you have a perfectly good bed is not one of those occasions.

Ever since she was a little kid, Utena's only wish was to become a prince. To be the kind of hero that saves the day, who brings hope to people. That's the reason she became a knight, the goal she's been chasing since the death of her parents.

But she's also heard, ever since she was young, that she could never just "become" a prince. For starters, because she doesn't have a single drop of royal blood in her veins. Not to mention, she's a girl. Utena, of course, has never cared about any of that stuff. She will become a prince, no matter what!

Until one day, destiny seems to strike. She hears of this legend, this tale, about a princess sleeping deep inside an abandoned tower. They say the tower was once guarded by a powerful dragon, but the princess' curse is so deep and so ancient that the even the dragon died guarding its prey, its body turning to thorns.

It's obvious, then. If Utena can rescue that princess, if she can end that terrible and forgotten curse, she will be just like her prince. The kind of prince who saves princesses when they need it most. The kind of prince who breaks curses. The kind of prince who kills dragons and witches.

Things, however, are not always what they seem.

Flamingo - would you say you’re clingy in relationships and friendships?

I try not to be. In the distant past I was made painfully aware of how little my company was desired in certain relationships, and I didn't have my first meaningful friend until I was like 15, so all that has impacted me up to now that I think the best sentiment anyone can have for me is tolerate me. I know this isn't true, but it's not really easy to work it through, especially without therapy, so I try to be as less clingy as possible so to not drive people away. I have no idea if it works, lmao.

Fun fact: I am slowly learning to go from "is there even any coffee left in there" to "lots of milk and/or sugar". I am learning to stomach a mocha bc grad school makes me sleepy but there is no sleep to be found 😅

OOF yeah I feel you on the exhaustion stuff. When I was super tired in undergrad I'd add a blonde shot to whatever drink I got and it had the advantage of keeping me Very Awake and the disadvantage of making me so jittery that I felt like I was on the fucking MOON and also giving me mad anxiety but the drink itself didn't taste super different so? Make of that what you will I guess??? There was also a few times where I was working multiple days in a row at my seasonal college job with maybe 3 or 4 hours of sleep so after the first day of work I'd drive to the store and get one of those canned Starbucks Tripleshots for the next day. MUCH less anxiety-inducing but that may just be bc I was constantly moving around at work and not just staying still and studying lmao. Also I will say that they did taste Very Strongly of coffee, so perhaps not the best option for you atm.

Normally when I complete a new work, I think it's the best thing I've ever written for like a week, and I end up reading my own work over and over because I'm so proud of myself.

I tend to have a hard time thinking of myself as a writer, but when I do actually finish a work or post something, it doesn't feel quite as much of a stretch to call myself a writer.

Ah, this is such good question because I almost always do make a writing playlist for my fics, sometimes even for a single chapter. However, I don't remember making one for I Was a Teenage Troll, so I probably just listened to my DLtK playlist, with emphasis on "Changes" by Langhorne Slim & The Law. To which in retrospect I would add the Big Wolf On Campus Theme Song (It's Just a Phase)

Now you've got me thinking what would go on a playlist if there was one, particularly Nomura POV songs...
