I’m happy Shimagurutchi returned, I know he came back in Tamagotchi Pix’s green design but I haven’t really kept up with stuff

While I’m happy about that I’m making this post cause I just realized one of the mystery Tamagotchi looks familiar

They look really familiar, I want to guess it’s Yattatchi due to the pose/design

It’s kinda weird I remember that as I don’t exactly recall having a Tamagotchi with her in it(Though she was on the Tamagotchi Connect 4 but I was pretty young & didn’t know how to get certain characters) how ever I do remember her in one of the Tamagotchi anime shorts(For a sec I mistook her for one of they guys that pretend they’re in a band & keep singing “Fireballs a rocking! Ya! Ya! Ya!”)

I'm not active on tumblr, but I figured this might be better off here than on twitter tbh

So, I've been really into Tamagotchi Gotchi Gear: Pet Pouches as of recently. I've had 3 of them as a kid, those being Mametchi, Memetchi and Kuchipatchi. A few years back in 2018, when I for the first time got back into Tamagotchi after being out of it during my teen years, I put up a goal for myself that I want to collect all the Pet Pouches. Currently I own 8 of them and I'm possibly nearing 10. Through my search for the Pet Pouches, I realized a few things such as exclusive ones I wasn't aware of (mostly to Japan) but also to my surprise, seemingly quite a few exclusions in regions as well

There's really not much info on these, if you can consider any at all, so I decided to compile a brief document on them that (hopefully) lists them all. In what regions they were found and general regional differences. I don't know if this will be of help to anyone really, I just felt like doing it after have been spending so much time trying to find them all. I mean, I literally found out about the Sergeant Pepper one (the tiger) last night, so the list is still growing

This is based on every reference that I personally have found through my research, and it could be missing stuff. There's for instance, questions regarding as to what the alternative red US packaging were for. I'd like this documentation to become as fleshed out as possible, if possible. If you have anything to contribute with, you can contact me through twitter (@lun0z) or Discord (Lunoz#0790) as stated in the document. Since I posted this on tumblr now, I'll be checking this post in case it gets any traction, but I'm way more active over there than here

Contributions could be things such as providing;

· Clearer images

· Pet Pouches that aren't listed yet

Sanrio Uni Gen1

Since this isn't my first time posting the generations for the Tamagotchi Uni I'm going to add Sanrio at the start to tell the original & the current ones apart. This doesn't have anything to do with the Sanrio DLC just that I have the Sanrio Tamagotchi shell.

So anyway first gen post for my return to the Uni. For anyone curious I take a picture of the tamagotchi as they go threw the different age stages then make a post when they get to the adult stage. Here is my first tamagotchi after starting over on my new device.

The first time I made my first gen post with the original purple Uni the wiki was still working on the page that showed how to get certain characters. I tried to get Shimagurutchi but had trouble due to not knowing how to get him so tried to get Shykutchi as a backup leading to ending up with Kuchipatchi.(Twice)

I'm going to try getting all the base characters before going into the some of the DLC characters.(Especially since DLC characters don't get care badges while the base ones do) I'm going to keep characters I like more towards the end of the list to save them for last, the exceptions are Bubbletchi & Hypertchi since gens going by multiples of 5 are tricky so get them when possible. Another exception are ShimaShimatchi & Yattatchi because they're connection based & I'm not buying another tamagotchi to get them.

Anyway here's Sebiretchi, thinking on stuff I kind of wish I had gotten Momotchi first just to get her out of the way.

At some point I found out I could put a hat on the kids & put the merry-go-round hat on her because I saw the hat before I was able to turn the Uni on & wanted it but wasn't sure if I'd play in time to get it.

I also put the flamingo couch down in memory of my stepmom who was kind of into flamingo items for a while.

I just realized there's a hair or piece of fur on the screen.

She has an affectionate personality & so far the only food she loves is veggie sticks(tried many things)

Each character when you get them for the first time has a care icon(I keep calling them badges), this is the main reason I'm trying for every base device Tama. I'm going to do the DLC tamas partly because I want some of them but also because it'll help give me a reason to work on the marriage care badge.(The 3rd/rainbow of the badge is like 100 or so marriages to get it) I can get up to 40 something with the tamagotchi I got available to me.

I've been holding off on marrying Gen1 just so I could post catch up posts. Gen1 this morning asked me if she could leave, I'm doing marriage only partly for the marriage care icons but also because I made the mistake of allowing one tama to leave when I needed Bubbletchi. Might allow one tama to leave instead of get married when this is all over.

Sorry for my rambling & I'll try to get a wedding post in soon.
