Yandere Malleus Draconia date headcanons
Dating a fae dragon isn't always easy, of course.
Especially not when the dragon fae happens to be a yandere.
There would be many rules and subtle gestures.
Rules that of course you can't know because you literally come from another world.
You probably won't even know at the beginning that you and Malleus are dating.
However, Malleus would already be planning a wedding...
"Breaking up" is not a word in the Yandere lizard's vocabulary.
"Dating" would start with really small things.
You would receive many small gifts directly to your door.
Little by little, the gifts would start to become much more valuable.
Malleus also would ask you to give him your name.
(The wording would really matter a lot. )
Eventually, Malleus would invite you to his homeâŠ
If you ate the food he offered you would never be able to return.
At the latest at this stage, you would hear about Malleus' marriage plans.
Yep this would be embarrassing XD
The yandere dragon would be confused because you didn't know you were in a relationship with him.
However, it was too late to back down now.
Kidnapping and locking partner in a tower would be part of dragon dating culture.
It's quite normal so don't resist >:(

never-ending noctuary; love forevermore.
yandere!malleus draconia x (female) reader cw: yandere, nsfw, unhealthy behaviors/relationship, somnophilia, non-con, overblot!malleus, obsession, breeding, baby-trapping, malleus is written to have two dicks, spoilers for part two of book seven note - and sitting powerful on his throne of thorns, omniscience at his fingertips, the lord of malevolence takes a bride.
An eerie, all-consuming quiet has fallen over Sageâs Island.
It is frigid and unfriendly like winter. Harsh and oppressive like silence. Painful and abrasive like brambles. Time has come to a swift halt here, and with it the people fall into never-ending euneirophrenia. Delights so dreamy shall inhabit the minds of all who sleep, the grandest gift granted to those unwilling. Like fate itself, wound around every living soul, it is inescapable. Inevitable like deathâunfair and unforgettable.
But then it is also peaceful and secure. Quaint and warm like a blanket. Fluffy and floral like springâs first kiss. Solace is far sweeter when spent in oneiric solitude, and so it will seem for one-thousand years. Forevermore, stretched taut into the future, the dream persists.
Is that not the best blessing? To those who wish to savor a fleeting moment just a second more, is this not a wish granted generously tenfold? Rather than immortalizing the past with photographs, it shall never come to pass. There is no need for bittersweet recollections or tearful farewells. The present will persevere, lived out in endless dreams.
Surely this is the correct course. Not just for Malleus, for he is a gentle, kind creature who recognizes the mutual desire for interminable merriment, but for the entirety of the island. Although in hoping for love forevermore, he has shackled himself to selfish, Epicurean pleasures. The type which normally lasts as long as a vision spent on cloud nine.
Currently, sitting proud and alone on a cold throne, Malleus knows of no greater joy.
The party may have fallen still as the grave, bodies slumbering in stiff propinquity, but it hasnât finished. The food may have congealed, inedible and decaying, but it is there. A testament to spirits kept aloft, if only to ensure no one ever knows the desolation of endings.
Paradise is what you make of it. Thus, should you hope for it, you can walk on the clouds in your mind and never know of Icarusâs plights. You can shed insecurities and anxieties and taste delectable metamorphosis. You can be anyone and anything. You can be strong and wealthy. You can be fearless and heroic. You can be an impossible ideal.
You can be loved.
Malleus watches your seemingly lifeless form splayed on the sofa, limbs draped over that of Ace and Deuce. Itâs a tranquil sight, a marionette freed from the strings of somber, suffocating life.
Under a roof of thorns, you are reborn.
Paradise is wondrous for Malleus, albeit a touch silent. He wonders what you might say if you were to stand at his side and observe this eternal slumber party. Would it fill you with awe? With appreciation? With abject terror?
Perhaps there is no use in theorizing. He doesnât need to know, for you will love him even in sleep.
He rises, taking each step at a time. Thorny branches and roots part to make way for him, a groom traversing the aisle in search of his bride. You lie still, secrets sealed behind pretty, plush lips, and if he was not the cause for your current state he might assume you were late.
But there is no death here. It cannot reach. It will never reach because Paradise knows not of death or suffering.
Paradise is the garden before the infestation. Paradise is the body before bacterial devastation. Paradise is love before departed lamentation.
Malleus gazes at your restful face, leaning down to trace a clawed, blot-tainted finger along your cheek. There are no tears; you are a doll incapable of such sorrow, sculpted to portray perfect neutrality. He is most pleased with this development, his chest rumbling with a triumphant chuckle. Now you shall never know an ending ever again. Now you shall remain here, safe and stagnant in his arms, far from the mirror that may allow you to return home.
Gathering your body in his arms, he lifts you from the cushions. You crumble in his grasp, head lolling and arms noodling at your sides. Sagging dead weight, but he places his ear to your chest to listen to the melodic thrum of your heart. Youâre alive, frailty shielded from the horrors of the world. Here, in thorny idyll, you will live forevermore.
Historically, all rulers must have someone to call their own. Whether it be by way of arrangement or convenience, strung together for the sake of conjoined power or out of obligation, this is an irrefutable fact. Historically, all rulers must bear an heirâsomeone to carry on the glory of an ever-present lineage.
Malleus refuses to bring a child into the world unless they are given the blessing of the one thing he was deprived of since birth.
A mother.
You fit in his embrace, a puppet tugged into a one-sided waltz. He steps over fallen bodies as he holds you against his chest, following the routine even though you arenât awake to reciprocate.
Historically, a married pair must share the first dance. Or thatâs what heâs read in fairy tales.
There are no rings here; promises are left unspoken. He wonât entertain rejection because there is no room for it in Paradise. Every unsavory, horrid thingâpestilence and pain, death and destruction, and sadness and sinâis packed away in Pandoraâs box and shelved. Malleus wonât risk opening it to release the tiny shred of hope desperately clawing for escape. Itâs not worth it.
He will foster his own hope if he must, and she exists in his armsâbeautifully motionless.
The steps are executed with care, up the stairs and towards a lonesome chair. He attempts a twirl, lowering you into a dip. Your arms hang limply, eyes shut in permanence. Brimming with fondness, Malleus tugs you back up to press his lips to your forehead.
âDearest one,â he mumbles, âmay you know many fruitful fantasies in the arms of Morpheus.â
He reclaims his seat and situates you to face him while perched on his lap. You slump against him, near-boneless. He smiles at you, imagining the ruckus that would certainly come about from such a daring gesture. Sebek would squawk at you to have more respect and dignity. Silver would tut and shake his head. Lilia would look on in amusement.
These are small pleasantries, little wishes he hopes to witness someday.
Historically, a married pair must consummate their bond.
Malleusâs fingertips flit across your figure, feeling fabric beneath his palms. He tries to exercise restraint and take it slowâeverything in moderation, Lilia would remind himâbut he canât contain his nympholepsy. Your clothes are discarded at once, shredded to scraps in his haste. He moves clumsily, following the searchlight of intrinsic ardor. Youâre softer when bare, he observes, peeling your bra from your skin. A pallid hand presses down onto your breast, the pudge of which caves beneath his fingers. He withdraws and it bounces back to its shape.
Fascinating, he marvels with wide, enchanted eyes.
Claws tweak at your hardened nipples next. Heâs careful because youâre notably weaker. Even in sleep, he must mind his hedonism. Too much and you will break. Too little and heâll be left unsatisfied. Malleus watches your expression. It was mostly neutral, but now your eyebrows are twitching in response to his touch.
In sleep, you are the most vulnerable.
He knows this because heâs peered in from afar, admiring you through a glass barrier while you slept unaware in Ramshackle. He would never do anything without invitation. Though it may not be in writing, your body is oh-so-inviting. And he indulges because heâs only known this fervor in the deepest, darkest dreams.
Curiously, in his pursuit of passion, Malleus happens upon the special space between your legs. Delicate like a flower, itâs the prettiest part of your anatomy. If he wishes to connect with you, to tie himself to you in unholy communion, he must acquaint himself with this sliver of seventh heaven. Heâs never seen one up close; the sight is foreign but very welcome. He drinks it in, burning your form into his retinas. Two fingers trace your labia, stroking along flowery folds in V-shaped strokes. You twitch in his arms, an unconscious, knee-jerk reaction.
At some point, in the middle of his experimental exploration, Malleus begins to hum. Itâs a soft, genial lilt. Low and soothing, the lullaby fills the silent halls of Diasomniaâs common room like poison gas.
He contemplates whether this is enough. Can you feel these sensations even when youâre so deep in your dreams? Perhaps so, for when he brushes back the hood protecting your clit to rub at it you soak his fingers. Lubricious, your wetness shimmers on his fingertips when he pulls them away to admire the very essence of you. Without hesitation, he places his fingers on the pad of his tongue to clean both. Itâs a divine taste, proof of pleasure.
You cannot speak, so instead your body does so for you. A most bewitching behavior.
Malleusâs hand slithers back towards home, his fingers sliding in with surprising ease. Gummy walls cling to slender digits, embracing the intrusion as if itâs meant to be. With each pump of his fingers, your body warms. The sinful squelch of scissoring fingers joins his humming in a salacious song. Every now and then, you spasm in his arms, your lips parting ever so slightly to release a sigh or a breathy moan. Itâs musical, a whimsy heâs only just discovered.
âMy beautiful bride,â Malleus croons, âyou will know love in my arms. Love forevermore, here in this sanctuary. Fear not, for I have done away with all that may terrify and traumatize.â
Pressure is straining beneath the belt, an itch that must be promptly dealt with. Removing his fingers, he shifts you on his lap so that he may free his cocks from confinement. Twin monstrosities curve towards his stomach; perhaps youâd have been frightened if you were awake to behold them. His hand settles on the small of your back, steadying you as he lines one of them up with your body. The tip just reaches past your navel. For a moment, Malleus ponders whether he might break you.
Careful now, he can hear Liliaâs chiding. Impatience will lead to injury.
He heeds the unspoken warning, lifting you with both hands until the head of his cock is kissing your pussy. And then, slowly, he lowers you down onto him. Your pussy stretches around him, a snug squeeze that only grows tighter with every inch swallowed. Malleus pulls you flush against his chest when heâs halfway slotted, his breathing staggered. Your body quivers, walls fluttering around him, while his other unsheathed cock presses against your navel. Pre-cum smears on your stomach.
Heâs determined to cherish you, thrusting all the way to the hilt after a few determined tries. Itâs a firm fit, but itâs still bliss. Hissing through his teeth, brows knitted in concentration, Malleus wraps his arms around you and fucks. Mindless, mostly, but with the intent to reach the only acceptable end here: orgasmic ecstasy. He makes up for the lack of motion on your part by moving his hips to meet yours as he rocks you up and down. Whimpers slip past your lips; he shushes you with song, humming through groans and grunts.
This is love.
Malleus thinks so when he positions your hands over his other untouched cock. The illusion doesnât last long because your hands are quick to fall away. Instead, he grasps your hand, guides it back to his shaft, and pumps himself using your precious palm for friction.
Youâre bounced up and down in a parody of consensual copulation. Malleus dwells in imagination, picturing you in a wedding gown. He considers what you might say, the vows you would undoubtedly swear, and the sweet nothings youâd exchange late into the evening. Heâd twirl you across an elegant ballroom while everyone looks on with tender adoration and reverence. Heâd show you the stars hanging just within reach, and when youâre swept up in riveting romance the sky is tangible and dreams are spun from sugar.
Heâd place you on his bed, stripping you of your dress, hands trailing up to tug the frilly garter from your thigh, and youâd smile at him, open your arms and welcome him with mutual affection. Youâd bloom for him like a moonflower, your heart beating in sync with his, as he fulfills the final promiseâone so bodily imperative. An oath to disturb desolate halls with noise. To hear the pitter-patter of tiny footfalls upon stone floorsâhe canât imagine anything more harmonious.
You would soften throughout the months, bright with that foretold pregnancy glow. He would press his hands to your rounded belly and feel squirming within, restless kicks and nudges. Youâd discuss potential names over breakfast, and he would hover even though he knows youâre plenty capable. But he worries because youâre so fragile and fleeting. So pretty. So round with child. He wouldnât leave you alone for a moment; youâre far too enchanting. Perhaps, in some distant future, heâll lower to the height of your stomach and sing to the baby.
A smile would tug at your lips and youâd reach down to pat his head, running your fingers over his horns. And thenâÂ
Malleus cracks his eyes open, his breath hot against your face. His chest heaves as he comes down from the high of domestic daydreams to find your stomach spattered with cum. Swallowing thickly, he peers between your bodies at your pussy stretched around his other cock.
Oh, he came inside.
Unexpectedly. Or perhaps not, for this was his intention. But once is not nearly enough, and he must fill you until youâre fit to burstâuntil itâs biologically certain youâre pregnant.
An emotion flickers on your face. Malleus mistakes it for jubilation, the type which calls forth a sunshower on your cheeks. He kisses the tears trailing down your face, ending at your lips for a chaste peck.
This is not the finale. It is simply the beginning.

Hear me out
Malleus and Leona (separated) with a reader (either male or gender neutral) that is similar to the black cat from Coraline, a bit cocky, shows up and dissappear out of nowhere and isn't neither good or bad is just watching everything fall in chaos
Bonus if with Malleus them being just a lap cat that dissappear out of nowhere
Black Cat Reader |Â Yandere Twisted Wonderland
You just can! Or you just wonât. The boys are torn on whether youâre bad luck or the greatest thing thatâs ever happened. Youâll easily stroll into their daily lives before leaving inexplicably. Even Rook tends to lose your trail. The boys are left with an age old question to try and capture and contain a wonder or do you stay admiring from afar:
Leona Kingscholar
âYou know you could stay for more than the egyptian sheets.â
âOh you wish I would but I have a plethoraâŠof things to do.â
âSo cryptic. One day I might roll on top of you and you wonât be able to leave.â
âThen Iâll have to give you a scar or two.â
âI wouldnât hate that.â
Both of you find a kinship because of your cat-ness
Letting each other chuff and purr as you both nap together
Of course he wonât mind if you start licking at his air in cat-form
Or how heâll do the same for you
Youâre already apart of his pride
Apart of his family
His partnerÂ
He has no plans to relieve you of this role
No matter how many times you disappear
Or avoid any kind of schedule
He doesnât mind where you go as long as you come to him
Malleus DraconiaÂ
âWonât you grace me with your presence, today?â
âOnly if you have the one thing I want.â
âFish fresh from the market.â
âThatâŠwill do.â
Few will admit it but heâs begun to have a fishy scent
Always keeping a can of tuna to entertain your attention
Sure if your in a cat form you might rub along his ankle
But you never stay and that kills him
Youâre far too uncontainableÂ
A force of nature he tries his best to keep close
As long as your interactions are decent he wonât be inciting a maelstrom
But should you hiss or reject his affections in any way heâs throwing a tantrum
Not because heâs mad at you but because he just canât seem to have you
No worries thoughÂ
Whatever magic you have it surely canât be stronger than his

When You Escape Him; Diasomnia
Summary: Yandere Diasomnia x gn!reader. He adopts a child that looks like the two of you. You run to give you both a chance at life. You never expected him to find you.
A/N: so, turns out the burnout was actually sleep deprivation. Who knew!
Heartslaybul Savannaclaw Octavinelle Scarabia Pomefiore Ignihyde Non NRC Staff
CW: major spoiler under the cut, but it does need a content warning, so if you want to see it, it's there, if not, skip straight to Mal's picture. yandere stuff, capture, forced sleep, implied past forced sleep, threats to innocents, Lilia is a shit in 3/4 of these, blood, implied previous injury, implied minor character death
Spoiler Content Warning: reader dies in Sebek 's part.
Three years into your relationship, he had come home and placed a baby in your arms.
"They were left in a box, all alone. And, well, he looks like if the two of us had a child," he sheepishly stared at the ground. "I just, I just figured it must be a gift from the seven."
You knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to tie himself to you through this boy. He looked just like him, and you were disgusted and scared.
Until he opened his eyes for the first time, and you found yourself staring into your own.
And you knew. You had to give this child the opportunity for a better life. A life without him.
In the end, your son did the opposite of what he had intended. And the first moment you could, the two of you had escaped.
Malleus had done something. Something unnatural. You'd at first kind of believed him. But the horns had started growing in on your son. This was your and Malleus' biological child. As unnatural and impossible as it was, you had no doubt.
The woman who ran the safe house had told you to put him up for adoption. She'd smiled sympathetically, but she told you in no uncertain terms that this child would damn everyone there. So either the child had to go, or you'd both have to go. She gave you until the next morning to leave. She'd send you with food and money, but you couldn't stay there.Â
But an hour later, as your son had summoned a storm with his crying, she had knocked on your door and told you she couldn't give you until the next day anymore. It just wasn't safe. And you understood, so you quickly began to pack, hastily hushing your infant son, who seemed in no hurry to stop crying.
You froze as you heard a boom. Not a boom from the storm your son had summoned. But a boom you recognized.Â
You heard screams in the safe house as vines crawled up the outer walls and windows. You looked at the sad little boy that you'd tried to save from a life in a cold palace, with a possessive and jealous father. You shouldn't have even made it this far. But that's exactly why you thoughtâŠ.
It didn't matter now.
You picked him up, and ran out of your room, straight out the door and into the rain.
âMalleus! Enough!â You shouted. âI'll go with you! Just leave them alone!â
Before you stood a huge dragon, surrounded by his army. But as the dragon looked down at you, its eyes softened, and he began to shrink back into the man you married.
He smiled wildly, extending his arms wide.
âBeloved,â he purred, momentarily forgetting his anger as relief filled him.
You walked slowly through the mud, ignoring the cold that seeped in your bones from the excessive rain caused by two separate storms. You took a shuddering breath and stepped into his embrace, fighting off a shiver of a different kind as his arms wrapped around you and your son.
âDon't hurt them. They're all just innocent people who need someplace to stay,â you whispered in his ear.
He pressed his lips to your ears, continuing to purr, as he said, âThey tried to hide their king's spouse from him. They must face some sort of punishment.â
âMal,â you said firmly, gently pulling far enough back that you could look in his eyes. âThey weren't hiding me. They were about to tell you where I was.â
A lie. But the only way to keep the people in that building safe.
âI shall spare them then,â he hummed.Â
The change was instant. A flicker in his eyes that only you knew well enough to pick up on.
âLilia, please escort my son home,â he ordered, his eyes not leaving yours as you felt the boy wrenched from your arms. Immediately, Malleus' grip shifted to your arm, and he dragged you along with him, straight into a glowing green portalâŠ
Which led to a tower you recognized.
âWait, no, no, I'm sorry-â
âIf I don't punish you, how will you ever learn?â He waved his staff, summoning a stone table.
âMal, please, our son-â
âYou don't love him, but this will teach you to.â
âI do so love him!â
âThen you wouldn't have broken his family,â he said as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.
There was nowhere to run in the windowless tower, but you knew what came next. So you tried to yank yourself out of his grip, even if it was fruitless.
âWhat if he doesn't live another hundred years?â You cried as he wrestled you onto the table.
âHe will. He has his father's blood.â
At least he admitted it.Â
His hand covered your eyes, a green glow beginning to fill your vision.
âHe won't remember me,â you pleaded as your body began to grow numb.
âI'll ensure he does.â
You drifted off, falling into dreams designed to âopen your heart.â Dreams where the three of you lived happily.
After another hundred years of that, surely you'd become the well behaved spouse he needed. And if not, he had a hundred more years to spend on you. And one day? One day his perfect family would be a reality.
You were elbows deep in another explosion your son had caused through his âscience experimentsâ when you heard a knock on the door.
You blew a hair out of your face, before turning to your son.
âCan you get that, baby?âÂ
He nodded quickly, happy to do anything to lower his punishment. You dug through some more goo (you didn't want to know what exactly he made) and finally found the bathtub drain. You pulled the plug andâŠ
Nothing.
You groaned. Guess you had to clean it the hard way. Again.
You heard excited noises from the front door, and smiled softly. Your son's partner was prone to making surprise visits, so you figured he was telling them all about his latest explosion. Young love was cute. You hoped it stayed that way.
You pulled your goo covered arms out of the bathtub, and pulled over the bucket that had seen horrors. You began scooping handfuls into it, hoping that less goo would force the drain to go down, when your son came back to the door, looking ecstatic.
âHey, um, there's someone here to see you.â
You smirked, and said, âWell, as you can see I'm a little busy. Tell them to wait.â
He shook his head vehemently.
âUh uh, you gotta come see them now.â
The way he was bouncing up and down, it must have been Uncle Epel. He was the favorite Uncle, mainly because he always brought treats with him.
âWell, tell him if he wants to chat, he has to help me clean-â
No sooner had the words left your mouth when some familiar pink magic flew over your shoulder, and made the goo in the bath dissipate. You froze in your place, too scared to look.
âEasy peasy. Luckily I've had a lot of experience with kid's messes, fu fu.â
You were a coward, who was too scared to face fate. As though refusing to face it would mean it would never come up behind you, and wrap his arms around you, affectionately nuzzling your neck.
âHow was your vacation?â Lilia hummed.
âThat's my dad!â Your son interrupted, excitedly. âIt all makes sense now! Why I look fae, why I'm so skilled at magic, why I have a hard time connecting with my peersâŠâ
If Lilia was anyone else, you'd quickly explain it didn't make sense, it was just a sick coincidence. But with him wrapped around you like a pythonâŠ
You weren't in a position to be dealing with broken ribs, again.
âNot only that, but you have a big brother!â Lilia said happily.
âI do!â
âHe's probably downstairs waiting for you! Let's go!â
You couldn't blame your son for falling for Lilia's charms. You'd also made that mistake many years ago. Lilia excitedly took your hand, floating down the stairs while dragging you, your son behind you.
At the bottom of the steps was Silver, who was looking anywhere but at you. Lilia summoned a portal, and you were quickly pulled through it, followed by the two boys.
Your son stared in awe at the mansion that haunted your nightmares.
âWe get to live here now?â
âYes! I have a room all for you, Silver will show you the way, then he'll take you to get a new wardrobe.â
Your son took the stairs two at a time, then paused to look back at you, confused.
âWhy haven't we been a family the entire time?â
You stiffened again, but Lilia was a wonderful actor.
âYou see, your father is fae and loses track of time. I was supposed to come pick you up. I only just realized how much time passed. I'm so sorry.â
He turned to you, he laced his fingers through your hair, kissing you passionately. He pulled slightly away, whispering,
âForgive me?â
In an attempt to ease whatever punishment was coming your way, you slowly nodded. You son beamed happily, then looked at you both.
âThis is the best day ever! I can't wait to tell my partner!â He pulled out his phone, immediately beginning the call as he continued up the stairs.
âWell? Was that enough of a vacation for you?â Lilia asked coldly.
âHow long-â
âSevens, I knew where you were the whole time. Quite frankly, I'm insulted that you felt otherwise.â
He sounded genuinely insulted. Fuck.
âSoâŠâ you trailed off.
âI haven't decided what to do with you yet. You know how important you and my family are to me, yet you ran from me, and stole our son.â He grabbed you by the hair, forcing you to look into his eyes.
âBut rest assured, if this happens again, I'll come up with a punishment that leans moreâŠirreversible.â
âY/N?âÂ
Fuck. You knew that soft voice. It had a slight tremble of disbelief and shock, so you weren't surprised when you felt a hand gently take your chin, and direct it to a pair of gorgeous auroral hues.
You had thought enough time would pass that you would be unfindable. So here you were, at a cafe with your teenage son, thinking you were safe. What a joke.
âY/N, where have you been? I missed you.âÂ
You believed him. God, you wish you didn't, but you did. The problem with Silver was that he never knew what he did wrong. He didn't understand. To him, you just vanished one day, for no reason.
âOh-â you started, but your son interrupted you.
âHey, back off,â he said firmly, grabbing his table knife as though that would defend against Silver's sword fighting skills.
Or Lilia's anything, for that matter, as you realized he stood behind his son with a scary look in his eyes. A look you had experience with. A look that said, behave.
âS/N, don't,â you whispered, not daring to pull away from Silver.
âI'm not going to let him take you!â He stood from his seat, causing Silver's eyes to flicker over to him, and grow soft with fondness.
âYou're all grown up!â
âBack off-â
âThat's enough of that. I appreciate your loyalty, but it would be better suited elsewhere,â Lilia finally spoke, disarming your boy.
âLet go of me-â
âFather, please don't-â
âIt's alright, Silver. I've raised two boys, I know how to handle a tantrum,â Lilia said lightly, pinning your son's arms to his sides. âAs for you, young man, that's no way to speak to your father, or your grandfather.â
âWe're not even related!â He shouted, and it was only then you realized the cafe was empty. They had planned this. Or, more accurately, Lilia had planned this, and probably surprised Silver.
âEnough. I'm putting you in timeout.â
He summoned a portal, and dragged your son towards it.
He turned back towards Silver with a firm look on his face, âSilver. Remember what I taught you.â And then he walked through the portal.
Silver held out a hand for you, and you swallowed your bile as you took it. You walked through the portal together, and found yourself in Silverâs room in the Castle in the Valley of Thorns.
He released your hand, dissipated the portal, and went to lock the door. You took the opportunity to sit on the bed.
Silver sighed as he stared at the floor.
âFather says that if I want to keep you in my life, I have to be more firm.â
He looked back up at you, something new swimming in his eyes. Something that frightened you.
âI don't want to hurt you. But today, seeing you for the first time in so long, I realized he was right.â
The frightening look wavered for a moment, as he said, âWhy did you make my son hate me? Do you not think I'd be a good father?â
You sighed, remembering how easy it was to fall prey to Silver's everything. âIf it were just you I had to worry about, I know you'd be a great father.â
âThen whyâŠâ the look cemented back into frightening again, and he stood stiffly, like a general deciding whether to spare an enemy soldier.
âI've given you a good life, a husband, and a family, but you are taking it for granted. You need to learn to appreciate what you have.â
That was all Lilia. Maybe if you had run away with Silver, you might have saved the last embers of your love for him. But then you might also be killed.
âI have arranged a cell in the dungeon for you. It's comfortable, but isolated. You will stay there until you learn your place.â
You fought to escape his grip as he dragged you down the stairs, pleading with him to see reason. But it was too late, and when the door was latched behind you, you couldn't help but wish you'd thought to try things differently.
You couldn't imagine how it took so long for him to find you. But as you and your son ran in the night, you wished it had been longer.
Ten minutes prior, you'd gotten a call from a wheezing voice you almost didn't recognize.
âSebekâŠheâŠhe's coming.â
âLilia? What are you talking about? Where did you get my number?â
You heard a hard cough, followed by a tired laugh. âWho did you think was your fairy godmother? Run Y/N.â
The call hung up, and you grabbed a bag to start packing, only to hear a loud bang as your front door splintered. Your son had wanted to fight him off, but bless his heart he'd never win. So you'd both escaped out a window and ran.
You knew he was much too fast for you, but your son was fae as well, so he had a chance of getting away. And if you could just wear Sebek outâŠ
You screamed out in pain as you felt something pierce you from behind.
You collapsed to your knees, staring down at the sword poking through your chest.
âNo!â Your son screamed, and you choked back the pain long enough to say, âkeep running!â
He looked at you regretfully, then angrily stared at something over your shoulder.
âI'll kill you!â He shouted, before running off, and disappearing down an alley.
You swayed from the position on your knees, your vision growing spotty. You turned over your shoulder, vaguely aware of a green haired man staring at you in shock.
Oh. That was Sebek! You had a date today, right? You didn't feel so good though, so maybe you should tell him you had to cancel.
âI⊠I didn't mean to,â he cried shakily, tears beginning to roll down his cheeks. You collapsed again, this time not having the strength to get off your side. He knelt next to you, and felt a sharp pain from something pulling. He laid you on your back, and pressed his hands to your chest, muttering something you couldn't quite hear. His voice sounded like water, moving in and out of your ears.
âY/NâŠ..donâŠpleaseâŠIâ
You nodded like you understood.Â
His hands came to cup your face. It must be raining, because his hands were all wet. You'd have to make sure Grim remembered to grab an umbrella before class.
You slowly lifted your hand to cup Sebek 's hands that were clutching your face. His cheeks were covered in raindrops, and he seemed to be trying to tell you something important. But you were so tired, it was hard to keep your eyes open.
You had a final moment of clarity, where you stared at Sebek 's broken face, and felt momentary pity for him. But maybe this would teach him something that he would never forget over the course of his long life.
And you thought of your wonderful son escaping this creature, and the black finally completely took your vision.

Ur bully au is so good I could slurp it up but it got me wondering
How would all the students react to the reader just. trying to kill themselves because of the endless torment? would they keep harassing? would they say something about it? or would they tone it down? I must know because If I was in that situation i know damn well unaliving myself would be the first option
Thereâs more than one asking but ima just get this over with
tw. yandere, attempted suicide, suicide, cutting, bully!characters, mentioned torture, humiliation, blood, slight gore, neglection, fucked up reader (deadass).
Here are some thoughts and reactions bellow!
When asking, what role does this character do in this so called âbully!auâ? You have to look at a deeper perspective of how each person behaves, what the intention is, and how itâs done.
So when the subject of suicide is involved it can get confusing depending on what caused it. Self worth is hinted in the reader, insecurities are brought and laughed at because it needs to hit a spot. Because YOU have feelings, watching it be stripped by people in far greater power than you, people with money, influence, and within number. Standing up to a bully is difficult, the struggles you go through shouldâve been realistic.
When push comes to shove, theyâre not all coming for you. If you enjoy the idea of every character ruining your lifeâ thatâs fineâ but, itâs usually one or three. I think itâs childish, when I first made this AU, some sort of amusement in finding hurt but comfort when writing, theyâre not trying to kill you, you know. You just catch their eye, more than they could like. Rejection is one thing, but another is a fair game of a sadistic approach. Whether they verbally or physically abuse you is up to place bets on what kills you.
For NRC years, yes, they constantly nagged and followed you around. But the times they would actively seek you out would be less than you think, the focus on bullying would be isolation. They donât have to hurt you everyday. Some time for yourself to heal and think over your situation. What would you eat? Would they play nice and ignore you for tonight? Did your look piss off someone from afar? Let them cheat off you! Donât be such a bore, itâll all go back to just you and Grim.
If you picked up self harming, itâs noticeable. Hiding it is nearly impossible. They grab and bite at you already so what makes you think hiding was a good idea? Itâs nasty and unplanned, miss them? Miss their touch that you havta recreate it? Itâs horrible to mention, but caring really depends on who calls you out.
I can say you like it. Or you fucking hate it. You hate, hateee, how they treat you. You crawl on all fours for them to laugh and pat your head, do a dare and lick off from their hand but money is involved.
What did you do, was it simple, messy, perfect headshot if you will. If your need to die was to simply hurt them in any wayâ it might work. Poor them, they canât imagine being away from you for too long. Some are more uninterested than the others. Who gives a shit you died? Whoever had the luck of finding you, dead or in the act, serves a purpose of letting you live or die. Cruel as they may be, you tug at a couple of heart strings.
Letâs say it was an attempt:
Sprang into action, either holding you down or taking whatever object youâre using to harm yourself. Theyâre gonna make sure this doesnât happen again, you gave them quite the spook. Have fun being watched 24/7, and if they couldnât, everything will be baby proofed for your safety, isnât that nice, they care. Thrash all you want, screaming and crying wonât get you anywhere, but theyâll bite their tongue once and a while to prevent this from happening.
Trey, Riddle, Azul, Vil, Jack, Deuce, Sebek,
OohhâŠheâs so sorry. Please forgive him, crying on his knees and rubbing his head against your chest. It doesnât matter if the blood stains his clothes, you nearly died and he feels awful. He promises so many times for harm to look the other way, twisted, yet unavoidable. Trapped in a tight, monitored schedule were his scent and voice is all youâll ever need. But at least thereâs a change of heart, your health is improving and thatâs all that matters to him, but speak to him, he wants to hear you.
Silver, Malleus, Kalim
Should he have stopped you, but what good will it do for him? Frozen in the moment, their bodies do the thinking, rational, to prevent you from escaping them. Youâre funny, reaaal funny, got good jokes at time. But, heâs not really laughing. A little, but itâs hysterically funny and scary. Because heâs still so rough, even when he apologizes yet calls you stupid, his fingers hurt you more than whatever you had planned, gripping, as if you really died.
Jamil, Ace, Cater, Ruggie, Leona, Idia, Floyd, Epel
Does it hurt? Did you find your ulna? Was the rope too tight? It feels like heâs only here to see the end credits, the finale. The sick fuck is smiling too, gross. Giving up just leaves you with him by your side, pressing it deeper to help you get the job doneâŠjust kidding! That was quite a show you put on, this is why he likes you. Being responsible of anotherâs cause of death isnât ideal, so heâll try to watch you as of now.
Lilia, Rook, Jade
From that list alone you can guess whoâs to mourn, and who savors what is left. Death is inevitable. Everyone dies one way.

Malleus Draconia
Warning(s): NSFW. Minors do not interact.
Just a short drabble.
â±â°â€â±â°ââ±â°âĄâ±â°ââ±â°â§â±â°â€â±â°ââ±â°âĄâ±â°ââ±â°â§â±â°
Malleus thinks youâre cute.
He thinks your especially cute when you give him shy smiles, an angelic giggle, the flirtatious bat of the eyes directed his way.. The list continues and even he himself is not so sure if he can list them all in this lifetime despite his long lifespan.
And in these moments, a low chuckle that comes from deep within his chest will usually be the response to all the little actions. Just like now, as a chuckle reverberates in your ears crystal clear from how close his breath was to your ears. There were no distance between you two. Having said that, your bear back is pressed against his muscular chest and you writhing in his hold. âHah.. Arenât you adorable, child of man?â His arms were on both sides of you and planting both of your hands onto the mattress beneath.
You grit your teeth to stop anymore drool from pooling onto the sheets with your eyes rolled as far as it could to the back of your head, but there honestly was no point now that the sheets have been already stained with your cum from the couple of rounds beforehand. It was only ever your cum that stains the sheets. Not once had he cum yet. It was unbelievable, honestly, at the stamina of draconic faes and how his cock is still hard and mercilessly pounding into you all this time.. Or could this just be him? You donât dwell on it, too focused on getting to your next release, and that wasnât too far since at every thrust, he penetrates the back of your walls, making your legs tingle with numbness.
âNo need to stifle those moans, my love.â Ah, yes, your moans. He finds the cute sounds you make pleasant music to his ears.. Sounds only he could produce from you. No one else. This would be something he should put down at the top of the list of the things he finds so cute about about you.
He turns your head towards him and he inserts his snake-like tongue inside your mouth, tasting the strawberry cake you had with him just early in the afternoon when you joined him for lunch. Without breaking eye contact, he notices the little tears that lie dormant at the corner of your eyes and the wet cheeks. Cute. His little bird is shedding silent tears at the overstimulation he's giving but still so greedily wants more. His hands moves from your hips to your waist in a repeated motion, silent words saying to be patient and that you will soon have your release. He also thinks you're cute even when you cry so no matter what you do, it will be adorable in his eyes.
Malleus Draconia thinks you're cute. But most important of all is that he thinks youâre cuter when youâre in a disheveled state and crying beneath him, begging for more of him.
âI think I like you most like this.â

What about yan malleus who courts his darling with fae practices?
So what I see the most about fairies is about how they would kidnap theirs bride and very little about actual courtship. But if we are talking about wedding, I did read somewhere that both fairy couple would give each other some task to accomplish before said wedding. Of course the task must be under the spouse capacity, so they could accomplish it well.
Warning: Yandere, forced marriage.
Your name
Fairy and Fae are a very closeted species, so very little are known about them. Malleus should have thought about it before courting you. You were HIS cute little human, so pure and innocent. A quality loved by fairies on other species. Fairy are quite unfair and selfish in their expectations for other than their own kin. And Malleus are the same, if not more. For the fair folk, their human lovers (or any other species) should be pure, innocent and loyal. Qualities you already hold in Malleus' eyes. "Oh? You want to exchange name, child of man?"
He is overjoyed by this. Name hold power, that mainly why he refused to give you his name the first time you both met. Of course since you so naively told him yours, he already had A LOT of power over you. When he developed feeling for you, Malleus wanted to kidnap you at first. But Lilia convinced him not to. It was a very old and outdated rules. Too old for this modern day and age.
That why after the incident during VDC you asked to exchange name once again, he was over the moon. Malleus had yours, but you also wanted his. "Uh fu fu! I hope you understand the meaning of your word, Child of man." Before you could ask about what he meant by that, he gave you his full name. The name that will be attached to yours soon enough.
Now that you both exchanged name, you two are officially in a relationship. You both are owning each other now. Which means that you both are now on an "equal" standing... In theory. While it's true, you being magicless mean you can't really use his name against him. But Malleus will gladly oblige if you need anything from him.
But Malleus know that name isn't highly protected in human society. So even though you are both engaged, Malleus decide to court you a bit. Fairy and dragons like pretty and shiny thing, so of course the draconian prince decided to gift you with some of his prettiest gem. By then you have already learned some fairy custom so you knew not to accept a gift from a fairy without giving something back. "Oh my, you shouldn't have, my dear child of man. You don't know how much this mean to me." He laughed delighted to see you have accepted his courtship and give him another one back. It was a pretty stained glass bracelet, but seeing your financial status he guess this is the best you could find. He is even more happy when you said you started to learn Fairy custom. That mean that you did it consciously and love him too, isn't it? Malleus take it as a sign that he could finally move forward with preparing the wedding.
As per the Fairy custom, Malleus prepared some task for you. He also didn't hesitate to ask for some task for him to accomplish. Since he you are magicless, he decided to give you some easy task. Like helping polish his horn, or going on a stroll with him. One time he even demanded that you cook for him. For the task Malleus has been asking from you. They were all so simple and adorable (in his eyes) that he couldn't help but swoon. Knowing that he loved to do his laundry on his own, you asked him to help you wash and hang them. Which he did eagerly. While he enjoyed it, it felt like you were preparing him for your marital life. "Look like the roof need to be repaired. Do you want me to do it, Child of man?", "I don't want to bother you with it Tsunotaro. Are you sure?" Malleus laugh it off before fixing it with magic. "It's no problem at all." He said with a smile.
You discovered about your engagement and wedding by Lilia. The wedding approaching the retired general took upon him to teach you every thing you needed to know for your life as Malleus' spouse and future consort of Briar Valley. When you discovered it, you ran to Malleus demanding explanation. The Fae prince just smiled as if you were just throwing a tantrum. "I did warn you, Child of man. Exchanging name are proof we are now betrothed. We have already completed most of the wedding rituals now only the ceremony are left." It broke his heart he saw you trying to push him away and leave. How you called him crazy, and tried to back out of the wedding. Malleus pinned your behavior on stress. You must be very anxious about your future as his consort. It must be why. The fairy dragon sighed before using your name against you. He hugged you gently and kissed your lips softly. "I know it's a very big step. I'm also anxious about it. But don't worry, I will take care of everything." He smiled as you were under his control unable to move. This is why you never give your name to a fairy.

Hi Lorkai! I really like your work! I hope I'm not breaking any rules, but could I request something?
So, Malleus hatched from an egg, right? I was thinking about a dragon egg magically appearing in his bed while he sleeps. When he sees it, he knows it's his and his darling's baby. Like, the egg manifests because he loves his darling VERY MUCH.
What do you think he would do next? Would he tell his darling about their baby, or keep it a secret? Would he use the egg to baby-trap his darling?
If you're uncomfortable writing this request, feel free to ignore it! It's alright, I understand. Have a great day!"
.â ïœĄâ *â ⥠A/N: Hiii darling (â ïœĄâ â Ïâ â ïœĄâ )â ïŸ~, thanks for your gentle words. Wrote a little drabble and some hcs for you, hope you like it and have a good day /night too!
It was almost like a dream coming true, albeit a bit too early. Malleus was still courting his beloved, slowly expressing his interest through his gestures and words, but he loved his beloved so much that his feelings simply gave life to a whole new being. And as soon as he wakes up in the morning, his eyes water when he sees the egg, when he holds it and feels life pulsing inside. Malleus doesn't usually cry but he cries a waterfall while he holds his unborn child. He is just that happy.
His and his darling's child. Your child. He already imagine they would look. Would they look more like you or more like him? Would they smile so sweetly like you? Would they be sassy and funny like you? Gods, he already wished to meet them. Alas, dragon faes take a while to hatch.
Thunder rolls across the dark skies as a sea of ââfeelings passes through him. And while he holds the egg against his chest, Malleus sets out to find you and tell you the news. He knows where you are, he can feel it and in a shower of green fireflies he appears in front of you. Eyes still shining with tears and a light blush over his face.
"Meet our child." He says softly. Softer than anything he's ever said, so happy that he hands you the egg to hold while he explains to you how dragon fae are conceived.
.â ïœĄâ *â ⥠Now, how Malleus act depends on how you react to the news. He could be a doting boyfriend (and someday in the future a husband) to you and an amazing father for the child. If you are happy with the news, he's going to be delighted, already planning your marriage and life in his mind, discussing names for your child and the color palette for their room. Overall the next days he's spending each and every minute by your side.
.â ïœĄâ *â ⥠Though the moment the child is born, all of you are going home. A school is no place for a baby to grow up, if you still want to pursue your education then Malleus is going to hire the best professors to give you private lessons in the castle. And also to help you adapt to fae society if you are human.
.â ïœĄâ *â ⥠But if you are to reject him or deny being the other parent, Malleus will not take this lightly. The child is yours, no amount of denying will work. You may just be scared but this is no excuse to sprout lies, a new life was born for his love for you and dragon fae needs love from both parents to exist, or so he says. He'll guilt trip into becoming the other parent and to stay with him. He didn't have his parents growing up and he was so so lonely, his child will have both parents present, even if he has to use his magic on you for you to cooperate.

Woohoo Malleus woohoo! I'm making the trigger list a bit bigger because I keep thinking about how people will totally skip reading it if it's too small and then blame the writer for their own mistake. That shit is clown behavior but I don't want to be held responsible for someone else's case of stupid, so sorry to those of you who think this looks clunky. Line divider found here: @/cafekitsune. This is also a fic that is wildly self-indulgent, in that I mean that while writing I visualized my own physical form and quirks.
That being said, this fic is written with afab (assigned female at birth) readers in mind. No pronouns other than you are used for the reader, but the reader does possess a womb. Reader's chest is not described in the least, just the lower bits, and even then it's not at length. Malleus also refers to the reader as "beauty," but masculine people can be beautiful too so idk but here's a warning anyways.
This fic is DEAD DOVE, DO NOT EAT. TW for noncon, fae interaction rules used for said noncon, slight bullying if you squint, one (1) mention of blood (I'm beginning to think I have a problem.) Stay safe while reading. Possible OOC Malleus, I haven't read any of book 7 and if you spoil it I'll block you temporarily.
This is absolutely not your fault, and you donât know what the fuck youâre doing. Itâs awful. Crewel was for sure his namesake, because this whole thing was a steaming pile of-
Alright, from the top, just to organize your thoughts: you are the only non-magic student in a school of mages. The teachers are mages. Your best friend/roommate/monster friend is a mage. The plants here can do magic, but you? No. Thanks homeworld. Love the gift of nothing.
Thus, the faculty have seemingly created a game of âhow to piss off and challenge the magicless student,â in which they give you various tasks to just make you lose sleep. Vargas had you running laps until your legs felt like jelly, doing pushups until your shoulders started sounding like glowsticks. Trein had you learning completely off the wall trivia, such as what type of fabric the Queen of Heartâs favorite bathrobe was made of and why it made her more powerful. Thatâs nothing, itâs easy because you apparently have so much free time in their eyes. But Crewel? Fuck that man.Â
When you got the assignment, it sounded fun and exciting. He gave you seeds for a fast-growing rose thing. Honestly you werenât paying attention to the name of it, but you retained what you needed to know. The plant only grew in moonlight, so you needed to cover it before you went inside at night. It needed a minimum of two hours of moonlight to grow per night. If the basket was overturned and it was exposed to the sun, then the plants would die. Moderate watering, no fertilizer, the usual.
Once the plants bloomed, you were supposed to take the flowers and make some kind of glamour potion, so here you are, failing at doing so. You only had four flowers, and youâre down to the last one. You wasted three tries and you still have no idea what the hell youâre doing wrong and itâs due next alchemy class and youâre breaking curfew on top of all of it. You glare into your cauldron with your latest failed attempt and hunker down to shoulder against the side so you can dump it out and try again.Â
âOh, itâs you.â
The voice makes you jump out of your skin. You turn around and you almost want to cry tears of joy, because if anyone can help you, itâs him.
âWhen I saw a little head duck down, I thought that something strange was happening. A crime, perhaps.â Malleus smiles, and itâs not a kind smile, but youâll take anything remotely positive at this point, âWhat are you doing on the floor, child of man?â
âOh, I have to empty the cauldron.â You puff out, still trying to throw your weight to push the cauldron. You did it twice earlier, so this must be the effects of mental and physical fatigue.
âOh, thatâs right. Allow me.â Rather than waving a hand or anything, Malleus strolls on over and uncrosses his arms, taking one hand and pressing his fingertips against the lip of the cauldron. The whole damn thing tips, the failed mixture pouring out into the nearby drain. With the same ease, he tilts it back and turns to you.
When he looks at you, itâs⊠weird. You know heâs lizard-like, as dragons evidently are, but even Sebekâs eyes arenât this jarring. They arenât soulless or cold or unfeeling, but it feels like he is looking through you. His emotions donât reflect in his eyes properly. Thatâs what it feels like. They reflect, but itâs wrong. Fractured. His lips quirk into a smile and you blink.
âUh⊠wait, what are you doing out here, Tsunotaro?â You ask, turning to gather more materials, following the transcript of your recording from class.
His smile grows, âJust on a walk. Will you tell me what youâre trying to make?â
âUh, yeah. This glamour potion? I donât know. Remember how I was growing those flowers?â
âOf course. And what happened to the rest?â
âI⊠uh⊠I messed up the other potions. I donât know what Iâm doing wrong here.â
âNo?â
âNo. Do⊠do you think you could maybe⊠help me?â
âOf course.â Malleus plucks the flower up, twirling it thoughtfully, âWhy donât you gather the other ingredients?â
That was simple enough. Petals from your tediously grown blooms, some kind of floral oil with tiny white flowers inked on the label, a ball of clay no bigger than a pea, something that really resembled a severed finger, something that was hopefully just someoneâs baby tooth, a handful of crystals in a rainbow of colors, and water. Lots of water. Malleus watches as you put all your ingredients on the nearby table and hums thoughtfully before dimming the lights and turning back to you.
âAnd where did you hear that you needed these things?â He asks. Itâs not something that he says with any indication that youâre right or wrong. The tone is bland but the words say enough.Â
He has essentially told you before that he believes you inept, a babe in the woods when it comes to this sort of thing, but it doesnât stop you from looking as hurt as you feel, âThe headmage visited class and gave me some pointers?â
âYou personally or the entire class? I donât personally recall concocting anything like this when I was in your grade.â He says.
You suppose youâre grateful that heâs so blunt, but his flat tone makes the sting of your failure that much sharper. You thought heâd be nicer, since you two are sort of friends, and Lilia has told you that Malleus is fond of you, but it also makes just as much sense for him to refrain from easing up in his flatness because he supposedly thinks so much of you. He thinks youâre an idiot, but heâs not willing to treat you as such.
âThe whole class. And no one else in my grade is doing this.â You mutter, staring at your assortment of items on the table.
He approaches the table and plucks up the beaker of water, twisting it in his hand, âDid you distill this?â
âWhat?â
âTap water often has various minerals in it. If you havenât been using distilled water, youâve been adding an extra ingredient. Typically, most potions are much more forgiving and you can use tap water with little issue, but this particular potion is known to be disagreeable.â He murmurs, crossing the room with your beaker of water and setting it up to distill with a practiced ease. âThatâs why itâs typically saved for fourth year studentsâ aptitude testing.â
The revelation hit you like a ton of bricks. Youâd like to protest but it unfortunately makes sense. Malleus looks over at you, somewhat blandly, then turns around to face you, looking half concerned.
You answer his question before he can ask, âI didnât⊠know that. I guess itâs my fault for being from a different worldâŠâ
His lips twitch into a smile, and for a moment you can see amusement in his eyes, fractured with the underlying coldness, âOh, it isnât. It may be your fault for failing to ask questions, but having someone who is unused to this type of work take on an advanced project is cruel.â
âYou think so?â You ask, voice lilting with hope.
âOf course I do. Why youâre expected to make a potion of this caliber is beyond me.â Malleus states blankly.
âUh, yeah. I- I donât know either. But thank you for helping me!â
His expression flinches. It lasts for less than a second before it smooths into an odd grin. Youâre not quite sure what that means, but youâre too happy to stop and think about it. The water finishes distilling and you carefully begin crafting, using the tips Malleus occasionally mumbles towards you. Donât put that ingredient in yet, stir clockwise, you need to grind that up with the oil, donât rush you have time, et cetera, et cetera, and then you have a gorgeous violet mixture, glimmering with a pearlescent golden sheen.
Your jaw drops. Somehow the few ingredients you threw together is enough to fill several bottles. Malleus is making a smug face as you rush to the shelves of empty bottles and choose several fluted bottles, quickly using a ladle to deposit the final, successful potion into the bottles. Youâre so giddy with your success that you hardly notice as Malleus walks towards the door and locks it. But only hardly.
âWhat was that for?â You ask, not actually caring. Youâre too happy to be worried.
âOh, weâll need privacy.â He responds.
That part confuses you enough into caring. You turn around from where youâve safely wrapped the bottles and slipped them into your bag and shoot Malleus a frown, âPrivacy? For what?â
Malleus doesnât say anything. He walks over to the table and you feel your body stand up, void of your control, and stagger over to stand in front of him. If you were concerned before, youâre frightened now. Malleus looks down at you with his strange gaze and folds his arms.
âWh-whatâs happening?! Why canât I move?â
âYou really donât know?â He asks. Something about his tone sounds mocking, but youâre certain he doesnât mean it to be. Itâs his version of sarcasm, heâs spoken to you like this before.
Your body hops up on the table, taking a seat, and Malleus turns to stand before you, looking down at you with a soft smile. You shift your hips- what the fuck is going on- and Malleus very gently hooks his hands in the pants of your dorm uniform.
Your dorm uniform is legit whatever the hell you want it to be, so it would change on the daily. Today it was a pair of jeans and a hooded jacket. He kneels to remove your shoes and stands back up, leaning close as he tilts your chin up. His breath fans over your lips.
âYou didnât tell me that you were so lovely beneath your clothes.â His hand on your chin shifted to your cheek, and his other hand laid flat on the table. âAnd⊠your smell is much stronger. Are you aroused?â
âYou canât just ask me that! I donât know what you did but youâve got to let me go.â
âI didnât do anything. This is your doing.â He retorts, pecking your lips very chastely.Â
âWhat are you talking about?â When he didnât respond, instead pressing the tips of his hand that was on the table against your exposed sex, your heart jumps but your body doesnât move. You canât, âDonât do that!â
âLilia informed me that making someone climax is similar to binding someone to you.â He mumbles, kissing you again as his fingers slowly slip inside. âIt makes them fall in love with you. Isnât that the most binding contract of all?â
You donât know why he isnât listening, but even less than that, you donât know why he thought you could handle two fingers, much larger than your own, penetrating you. You squeal, but your body is incapable of tensing. Malleus pulls back, looking at you in a soft confusion.
âWhatâs the matter with you?â
âWith me? Whatâs wrong with you? Thatâs too many- itâs uncomfortable!â
He blinks at you and withdraws a finger, which feels much better. You sigh. If youâre going to be forced to do this, you may as well not get hurt in the process. You close your eyes and Malleus hums.
âIs this better? Youâll have to forgive me. I havenât had a dalliance with a human before.â
âI- I donât think Iâll be able to⊠to forgive you for this.â
âNo?â You can hear his smirk and the squelching noise as he pumps his finger gets louder. He slips the second finger in again and the burn isnât so bad as last time, âWell, maybe you can decide that for certain after the wedding.â
âThe wedd-â You have to bite your tongue to keep from moaning. Your body leans back, laying on the table, and your gentle assailant curls his fingers, leaning forward to mouth at your neck, âThereâs not gonna be a motherfucking wedding. Youâre-â
You can hear his horn scraping against the table, âHmm. I didnât think you were so entitled. Youâre squeezing around my fingers. Are you close?â
âNo!â Youâre a liar. A ragged gasp leaves your throat and you feel the drop in the pit of your stomach, the burst of euphoria traveling up your spine as his thumb presses against your clit.
Malleus laughs, then leans up off of you. The sound of clothing hitting the ground is the first and only warning you get, but you canât move, so it might as well have been silent. You feel something on your stomach, coming up about a half inch below your belly button. Itâs⊠almost cool to the touch. You would think it would be warmer, but itâs not. Your eyes round as you stare at the ceiling, and Malleusâs face leans into view, his eyes boring into yours as though heâs reading your thoughts.
âYouâre very warm. Iâve always thought this. You must be boiling inside.â
âI- what?â
He doesnât respond, leaning back up. You feel the velvety head of his cock press against your entrance and as much as you want to jolt away, you canât move your body. You canât even look down to see what heâs doing. Your lashes flutter as the stretch sets in, the pressure worse than his two fingers. It burns, especially along the bottom, where his weight lays heavy thanks to gravity. Youâre capable of wincing and letting out a whine, but nothing else.
âH-hey, that- that hurts.â You babble.
âDoes it? You are squeezing me like a vice. Iâll stay still for a moment so you can relax some. Let me know when it stops hurting.â Itâs very peculiar. Although he speaks with an animated tone, his voice is often detached. You would think heâd have more emotion since heâs inside of you.
You blink rapidly and decide that now is as good a time as any to ask, âWhat the hell is happening?â
âMust you tease me so?â He responds, his voice tense.
âWhat? Iâm not teasing you. I canât move!â
âOf course you canât. You only just bound yourself to my will.â
âI what?â You shout.
âWhat, did you think I enslaved you? I could have, when we first met. Youâre too free, giving people your name, thanking them, taking gifts freely⊠it drives me mad.â You feel a flash of heat, something warm rolling against your skin, like standing too close to a gas stove, âAnd now I find that you didnât even know? I didnât think you were such a fool.â
âThatâs just called being polite!â You protest. âOh my god-â
âI suppose I canât blame you, really. Relax, lest I harm you.â He murmurs, rolling his hips further as though he can slide in deeper.Â
You squeak, âN-no, thatâs-â
âToo much, yes. Tell me, in your world, do faefolk exist?â
âI- I mean, if they do, most people donât believe in them.â The oddity of the situation felt like a blanket. Having a semi-conversation while your friend- not after this- used you as a dick holster. It was almost comforting. âI donât- I donât understand.â
His voice was deeper than normal, an underlying rasp to his voice, as though it was coming from somewhere deep in his throat, âI will explain. Iâll tell you anything youâd like to know. But after I explain, I will begin to move.â
âH-hey, no-â
His voice sounded choked, half strangled as he stifled a groan, âI apologize for not being clear earlier. Among the fae, verbal contracts are common and binding. You do not give someone your name. You wonder why I never directly gave you mine? It is a way to bind someone to your will. You do not accept gifts. Invitations are fine, but a gift is a sign that you owe someone something. My help- a boon- is a gift. Typically it is repaid with another kind turn. And, most importantly, you do not thank someone without the sufficient power to break their hold.âÂ
You felt him draw back, that wave of heat rolling over you again, and then he slammed forward. The slick noise and dull smack were muffled by your squeal, his cockhead punching your cervix like it stole from him.
âFoolish little thing. I suppose it makes you cute.â He sneers, and your body sits up, arms wrapping around his shoulders.
The angle makes his motion a bit less painful. Heâs no longer bumping against your cervix, thank the Seven, but the stretch remains. Your eyes flinch shut and Malleus tilts your chin up to kiss you again.
âSt-stop- stop!â You whimper, âYouâre hurting me!â
âIf you would relax, beauty, that would not be a problem.â His chuckle is dark, the squelching from your coupling making a wicked duet that makes you feel dizzy, âAnd you said it to me so easily as well. Thank me again.â
âWh-â One of his hands slipped under your hips, holding your bottom just under the split in your cheeks, and nipped your neck as a flat thumping echoed from where your bodies met, your legs bouncing with the motion. His member had gone back to bullying your cervix, and you wailed in the hopes that he would stop, âThank you!â
âHeh⊠it escapes your lips so freely. Tell me, beauty-â He cut himself off with a grunt, panting against the column of your throat. âTell me, what is it that youâd like? I would give you the world on a platter, should you want it.â
âI- ow! Y-youâre hurting me!â
There was a possibility that he was getting off on the pain he was causing you, just as much as there was a possibility of him not understanding that he was hurting you. With every motion of his hips against yours, despite the wicked pain, you felt that ever evil tug in your gut, like a stone growing heavier and heavier.Â
You tried again, because if this had to happen, if you were under his control now, you may as well not get injured. You would not be pissing blood if you could help it, âItâs too deep!â
He listened. It was odd, but he listened, his voice warming as he slid back a bit and continued ramming into you, but no longer beating the hell out of your internal organs.
âI didnât realize. Is that better?â His voice sounded warmer, echoey against your shoulder. His teeth grazed over your skin again when you didnât respond. He choked out your name and you sort of came back to yourself.
âU-uh- I guess?â
âWonderful.â He mumbled, his free hand reaching between your bodies and slicked with your sweat, to tweak your clit.
It should be embarrassing, how quickly you reached your height. Whoever he had been with in the past couldnât have been so sensitive, since you felt his body jerk against you, an uncontrolled undercurrent to his motions. You let out a quiet, squealing moan and barely even felt the break when Malleus bit you to muffle his own groan. You didnât feel him climaxing inside of you. You felt the control return to your body and flopped backward onto the table, your hoodie damp with sweat. Malleus took a step back, then carefully redressed you, then himself. You looked up at him and saw nothing but adoration in his eyes, not the fractured appearance of such. It was like he was actually looking at you.
When he spoke to you, leaning forward to cup your cheek, his voice was warm, warmer than ever, âNow, letâs start planning for the wedding, my beauty.â

Yan overblotted malleus who kills his darling by accident, maybe loses his mind even more. Go crazy đ
>:)
Warning(s): blood, death, hearing voices
The ink clouding his vision slowly dripped off of his face, allowing him to see clearly once more.
"What... what happened to me...?" He asked.
But nobody was there to answer his question.
Malleus stood up on his unsteady legs. Nobody's around, where are they?
And then he found everyone. Silver, Sebek, Lilia, and the two Shrouds were huddled around... something. He couldn't tell what it was.
When Silver heard someone approaching, he immediately stood up and drew his sword, but calmed himself when he realized Malleus looked like he was back to normal.
But behind Silver, hidden by everyone else, Malleus saw a very bloody body.
"What happened?" Malleus asked.
"You overblotted." Silver simply responded.
"There's no pulse." He heard the younger Shroud say. "And... I'm not detecting any brain activity either."
"S-shit... Ortho, c-could you try shocking them awake?"
"I don't think it would be of any use at this point..."
"Ah, how tragic..." Lilia said. "Malleus will be quite displeased."
"Why... will I be displeased...?" Malleus asked.
"Malleus! You're ok!" Lilia said, turning around. "Such wonderful news-!"
"Lilia. Why did you say I would be displeased." He demanded.
"...Malleus. I'm sure you're aware you overblotted, yes...?" Lilia asked. He floated upwards and placed his hands on Malleus' shoulders. "(Y/N)... they tried to help us calm you down as they've done with all the other overblot cases but..."
It felt like all of the noise was sucked out of the world. He heard nothing, except for what Lilia said to him next.
"Malleus, you killed them."
It's easy to keep a human alive.
Just use a bit of magic, and just like that they'll be ok.
Lilia had clearly lied! You were just fine!
A simple spell to heal your injuries, and one to help with... preservation... and you were just fine!
You were alive, clearly!
You still looked alive, and your body wasn't at all decaying, so you're clearly ok!
You have to be.
Malleus Draconia was always known as a strange man, people just never commented on it because he's big and scary and one of the most powerful mages in the world, but now... people were starting to talk about him.
They were starting to talk about how Malleus Draconia was a man who always dragged a human's corpse around with him. He called the body "(Y/N)". He would talk to them like they were alive, and he always expected a response, before saying something along the lines of "Oh, you don't want to speak right now? That's ok, (Y/N), maybe later."
Everyone was now more unsettled by Malleus than ever before.
"(Y/N), what would you like for dinner?" Malleus asked, sitting you down in a chair.
But you didn't respond to him.
"...my dear, I know you're probably angry at me for hurting you like that, and I'm extremely sorry about that, but (Y/N)... we can't go on like this." Malleus said, grabbing your cold hands. "I can't go one more day without hearing your voice."
And after that, he could have sworn you said something to him. He heard a voice in the back of his mind, one that resembled yours...
"I knew it. You're still alive." Malleus smiled. "So, (Y/N), what would you like for dinner?" It felt so nice to hear your voice again. "Oh, that sounds wonderful, my dear. Shall we discuss wedding preparations tomorrow? ... Yes, my thoughts exactly!"
Lilia, Silver, and Sebek were peaking into the room to make sure Malleus was doing ok.
They did not expect to see what they did.
He's talking to you like you're still alive, like you're responding to him...
"Father, what do we do?" Silver asked.
"...I don't know."
"Is there nothing we can do to prevent Lord Malleus from marrying a corpse?!" Sebek yelled.
"Well, his grandmother will surely prevent that, but we should find a way to help him with... this." Lilia sighed. "For now, I suppose we just... let this happen. And try our best to help."
Malleus looked so happy, dancing with you.
But you didn't look happy, dancing with him.
Your expressionless, dead face could not display happiness anymore.
But Malleus... he saw you looking happy as ever. You looked as beautiful as the day he found you.
To Malleus...
You looked as alive as ever.

Yandere Diasomnia Headcanons
TW/CW: Dark content up ahead!! Yandere headcanons means yandere content yâall! Mentions of abuse and violent acts either towards the reader or the character!! Mental instability, gaslighting, manipulation, stalking, possessiveness, obsession, emotional whiplash, etc. (Donât think Iâm missing anything but if I am, please do let me know!)Â This is your TW please proceed with caution!!
ALSO FYI!! A minor spoiler warning, itâs during the last paragraph of Lilias Headcanons! Itâs slightly mentioned in book 6 but emphasized in book 7!
DISCLAIMER:Â These are my interpretations of his/her/their persona and none of these is 100% accurate. I don't condone any of these actions in real life and all of this is purely fictional and should be taken as such! Underage characters will ONLYÂ be given SFW headcanons, please respect this decision!
As always, banner made by the lovely bestie @herestrishâ thank you for making all of these, youâre literally the best I love you so much!Â
Malleus Draconia Â
THIS IS MY DORM. THIS IS MY SHIT RIGHT HERE YâALL! I was and STILL am rooting for them!! Clearly, I have a bias and saved the BEST for last. Anyways, moving on! Malleus as a yandere is so popular because of how heâs literally pursuing the MC when TWST is not an otome game. Breaking the boundaries of the game fr. Not to mention, heâs so mysterious in the first chapters until you discover more and find out heâs quite sad :(( sorry babes </3. The main traits I see in him are possessive, clingy, obsessive, and overprotective. I will however start off with the main trait and the biggest thing that distinguishes him (book 7 spoilers really enhanced this headcanon), he wants a fairytale-like romance/story.Â
Malleus is known as one of the (top 5 I wanna say?) wizards in the world of TWST. Iâm sure his magic capabilities surpass his teachers so while he has no need to attend the school, Iâm sure the main goal was to get him to socialize which he does with the MC. He wants to make friends, he wants to have a relationship with his fellow peers that isnât the âstrongest mage in NRCâ or âfuture king of briar valleyâ. I honestly think he wants others to see him as Malleus Draconia (mostly Malleus because his last name has power), which will make sense with the rest of these headcanons. When it comes to Malleus, his relationship with his S/O is different than any relationship out there. Think about it, we got to call him Hornton/Tsunotarou because it was a name we picked for him because he did not want to reveal his name. I feel like he had the chance to speak with us because weâre not from this world. We donât know the rules, the powerful families, and shit, we didnât even know who Malleus was. Someone could say his name but it wouldnât affect us because it holds no meaning. So when Malleus found out we didnât know him, this was his way of testing the waters which I think is really cute. He wanted us to see him as himself, not as the all-powerful malleus and future king.Â
Heâs possessive with his S/O because youâre his friend(hopefully something more soon) and someone who saw him for himself. I think he cherished the nickname we gave him because itâs something from us to him. Heâs possessive of us because weâre the only ones he has this important connection with. Sure he has one with Lilia and the others but with us itâs different. Leading me to a tiny headcanon I have that apparently isnât that uncommon. Nice to know we think alike yâall! I feel like Lilia treated Malleus and Silver differently. I always saw it as Lilia feeling it was his duty to take care of Malleus as opposed to choosing to raise Silver. Malleus was probably raised as the future heir of briar valley, he probably had to attend many boring classes that prepared him for this role while Silver got the fun parent. I feel like Lilia raised Malleus with the intention of him growing to be a leader whereas he raised Silver with the intention of making Silverâs childhood the best it could be. Letting Silver be a child and then slowly bringing in the responsibilities, same with Sebek. So sorry for this analogy but I feel Lilia was the âdaddy who was always working and never had time for meâ with Malleus while it was different with Silver. Granted he didnât treat Malleus with malicious intent, it was just that at a glance it was clear to see who got more of the âfun parentâ. THIS IS ALL A HEADCANON BTW NOT CANON! These are just angsty times with Kikyan! So that being said, this is a very close and personal relationship that Malleus has with just you, so forgive him if heâs a little jealous. Malleus is well aware that itâs not right, but he canât help but feel like this. He does what he can to prioritize your time, always being there in the evening for a nightly stroll. Sometimes, when heâs brave enough, heâll try to plan something other than a nightly stroll. Maybe coming into your dorm and talking for a bit, maybe even inviting you to his? Maybe a small picnic at night because why not? Maybe a cup of tea?Â
While thatâs partly a reason why nobody approaches him (and a part that he dislikes), I can see him using his title as a way to intimidate others. When we called him by his nickname in book 5, everyone was stunned. I think Vil even accused him of taking advantage of our ignorance, but when we still called him by that name even when knowing who he really was, he âallowedâ it. I already know he was kicking his feet, twirling his hair, and giggling when he left the stage. If youâre with him and standing by his side, nobody would dare approach you nor look at you differently. You have the protection of Malleus Draconia after all, who would even DARE approach? Even if heâs not physically there, his influence makes up for it. Everyone knows you hang out with him and honestly, nobody wants to take that risk. I donât think youâd lose friends because he still wants you to have friends (maybe even open up his circle too?). However, if itâs just you two I think he could live. This goes in hand with his unique trait, the storybook romance. Think about it, itâs so romantic that even in his cursed world you will always have your lover by your side. Imagine it, just you and him in a castle all alone, just feeding off each otherâs company. Who needs the others when itâs just you two?Â
Obsessive and over-protective. I think they go hand in hand. Malleus would be a gentle lover, the one who wipes your tears away as he softly asks, âwhy do you weep my child of manâ (crying, throwing up, and contemplating he sounds so pretty wtf and this is my writingDFJS). He thinks that youâre made of glass, a porcelain doll (donât mind me I think I created possible fic ideas Iâm carefully jotting all of these down) to be exact. If he looks away for even a second, youâd wither in the air. Heâs so obsessed with you and so intrigued with what you do. Youâre so lovely, youâre so unique and so precious. You came here from a foreign land and have no knowledge of him and his abilities. No knowledge of this world and its rules, yet suddenly you managed to rescue 6 over-blotted students and befriended so many people. Just how on earth did you do that? You donât look at him with fear and Iâm sure prior to knowing his real name if someone said âMalleus Draconiaâ youâd probably look confused. You probably wouldnât have cared (I know I wouldnât). Youâre you, heâs probably head over heels for you. Absolutely smitten! Heâs probably somewhere right now plucking flowers, âThey love me, They donât love meâ and imagining what your reaction is. Heâs probably the one keeping an eye on you, when heâs not busy heâs either taking your time or just nearby watching your peaceful life. Nobody will harm you, not while heâs alive and babes, heâs living for a LONG time.Â
I added that he was clingy because I feel like he would be. He seeks out your attention and love, honestly, itâs so cute. The storybook romance, itâs unique. Itâs something you two have and itâs something that keeps him going. Heâs a gentle lover and if you give him attention, he turns to putty in your hands. He would change the time just to have your nightly strolls come faster. He really only has eyes for you, in Book 5 when Vil over blotted, he asked US what happened. He didnât care for the others, he looked at us and asked us to explain the situation. His eyes are on us and only us. If heâs sad or annoyed, ask him what's wrong and if you place a hand on his or on his cheek to make him look up, itâs over bro. Youâve ignited a fire that cannot be contained. Heâs the perfect partner, he listens to you, he does what he can to protect you, he puts YOU above him, and youâll always have a place with him. HOWEVER, drumroll, please! Do NOT think for a second that heâs willing to let you treat him and this relationship with disrespect. He does not WANT to act out because he does want that fairytale romance, that attraction where you both are content with the other but if heâs pushed he will. I donât want to say heâd hurt you because he doesnât want to, but if you fight against this relationship he too will fight. Put your boxing gloves on because itâs about to get real. Heâll understand if you donât quite accept it at first, but once he shows you the PowerPoint on why you two belong together and why heâs the better option and youâre still not getting it, he may be a bit upset.Â
Wrapping off these headcanons, heâs a 9/10 on my danger scale and heâs a chain-turned saw on the rope-chain-saw scale. Heâll start off tame, he wonât take too many restrictions and he wonât say it like that. Heâll just say âthat area is restricted because of construction or because they have so many dangerous magical items out in the open and itâs a huge risk! This is your room, he read that even when people are together they may need space away from each other (as much as he dislikes that) so you have that. Honestly, heâs super lenient right now that it seems like he doesnât pose a threat but, keep in mind that he doesnât like repeating himself. If he says that area is off limits and youâre wandering heâll worry for your safety but then proceed to tell you off. âI did warn you that it was dangerous, I donât like repeating myself. Perhaps I need to clip your wings to prevent you from wandering off, as much as I love that curious nature of yours. A joke, I assure you.â Babes. . .I donât think itâs a joke anymore. Which is why I say chain-turned-saw. While he isnât too strict on you and genuinely wants that romance between you two, he can turn strict to the point where you may find yourself with a broken limb or a cut-off one but itâs okay because he loves carrying you around! Heâs the most powerful wizard (one of them at least) in the world and while he doesnât want to hurt you, heâs not above using that strength to get you to behave. Heâs a 9/10 because as much as he loves you and wants those fanfic moments doesnât mean heâs powerless and that you can get the jump on him. He gives you ONE warning and thatâs it before he takes matters into his own hand. Heâs been so patient with you, this is the thanks you give him? Fae live for a long time and if putting you to sleep is the only way he can do it, he will. After all, heâll invade your sweet dreams and turn them into a nightmare if you choose. Another last measure would be branding, he once set Briar Valley ablaze but your skin is such a pretty canvas.Â
Lilia VanrougeÂ
Lilia, my beloved. The love of my life. I love him so much heâs so quirky and his aesthetic? To be honest, I hated neon green, like the highlighter colors. He changed that, the black and magenta is such a great combo. The green on their uniforms and their overall aesthetic. I love Diasomnia, I feel like Iâm betraying Heartslabyul because I love Alice in Wonderland, but their styles never called out to me. Regardless, I am biased because I love him so much and I hope I can do justice to his character. The main characteristics that I see him having are manipulative, possessive, and overprotective.Â
I was tempted to say that he was obsessive, but he and Rook share some qualities where they make it a game to find out about their S/O. He wouldnât stalk you like prey but instead, heâd create a situation where you reveal that information about yourself to him. I do have plans for a Lilia fic (again bias) but without revealing too much information Iâll get into my personal headcanons of him. I truly think of Lilia fitting the troupe where he was emotionless at first, especially during the war but eventually toward the end came to appreciate life. Something happened to him during the war, thatâs my biggest headcanon. Itâs not something huge and over the top, but I think this is what caused him to have a change of perspective on life which will significantly change how he sees his S/O.Â
He has a very quirky personality and heâs definitely unique. I love that about him! In order for this to connect, we need to talk a bit more about his personality. Itâs very unique and he enjoys putting smiles on othersâ faces. He gets along with the others for the most part and even teases them, especially when he hangs upside down (he's so cute omg I love him). I remember in his normal card Vignette, the one with Trey they were choosing a topic for their paper and Lilia was talking about magical pens and how they went through changes. As Lilia was explaining, Trey assumed it was a joke, and when he casually mentioned âI have the hardest time figuring out what's true and what isn'tâ, Lilia smiled and went âwho knowsâ. He knows more than heâs letting on but then again, nobody believes him so thatâs partially their fault too. When Epel was getting bullied and Lilia saved him, his whole mannerism was that of someone who was trying to fit in with the âyoung folkâ. He gave Epel advice on how to take care of himself and mentioned that in a fight, itâs about winning unlike in a sport where you have to adhere to the rules. Heâs strange, but he truly means well. This leads me to connect Lilia and his overprotectiveness on his S/O.Â
Lilia cares for his S/O. Though he doesnât seem like much, he packs quite the punch that may soon come to understand if they try to take something thatâs his. Possessiveness comes into play as well! If someone ever tried to hurt his S/O, they better start preparing their funeral arrangements because it wonât end well. Underestimating Lilia is what leads to their downfall and honestly, these headcanons would sound smoother if I just led with his unique trait. I want to say he mirrors Rook where he will never trust his S/O, but itâs the opposite. Itâs US who CANâT trust him. Well, we can, but we canât take anything he says without a grain of salt. You may think Lilia is petite and a cute harmless guy, but then suddenly heâs handing out ass-whoopings left and right. You may think Lilia is joking, but his devilish grin might be one of malice as opposed to humor. Again, he cares a lot for you but heâs not above scolding you and treating you like a child, which should get on your nerves. Nobody but him is allowed to tease you but him!Â
Your safety is his priority, without a doubt. You mean the world to him so again, nobody will mess with you. His possessiveness is something thatâs brought by his teasing nature. He may refer to you as âhisâ and may do it in a teasing nature. Heâll do anything to get a reaction out of you, maybe even call you by some cringe-ass name. âSo howâs my little snuggly wuggly piggly wiggly baby pieâ. âLilia, donât ever call me that pleaseâ. Overly cutesy names to tease the fuck out of you. Though itâs embarrassing, he means well. He also prioritizes your time by filling up your schedule, suddenly youâre at the dorm playing online games with him and Idia (though they donât know that which lowkey stresses me tf out). Youâre trying out another dish he makes because Silver and Sebek are beyond horrified to try something else. Heâs inviting you to the music club to listen to them play and to give them advice. He might even ask you to help him dye his hair. His relationship with you is so wholesome that itâs almost hard to believe he was once a war general and can scare the shit out of many.Â
I want to touch on his manipulative side, itâs because of the lack of trust. You think itâs silly old Lilia (emphasis on old) playing games on you. Maybe one day when you promised to hang out with him you had to stay behind for an assignment. Apologizing and here he is, âOh well, it canât be helped! Donât want you to fail now do we?â Thanking him for understanding, you turn to leave only to miss out on his eyes lowering, half-lidded before smiling. That devilish grin that you canât forget and you canât read. You canât read him and that comes to be your downfall. He has the element of surprise, to the point where youâd start being on edge with him (like the leech twins). He may pop out and scare you or he maybe pushes you only to cause you to tumble. He certainly underestimated his strength, are you okay? Spoiler alert, it wasnât an accident. If you start to ignore him, heâll get aggressive. Scaring you, causing you to fall, your books to fall to the floor, spilling drinks, etc. Heâs so silly and clumsy, must be the age huh? It only gets worse when you confront him, âHey Lilia, did I do something to make you upset?âÂ
Eyes wide, âWhy ever would you say that?â Heâs surprised, what brought this on? Of course, he knows, heâs not stupid. He listens to you explain, eyes full of worry, reassuring you that it was only a joke and he never wished for you to feel like that! You believe him because when he looks at you like that he must be telling the truth! This is how it is at first until you start to realize that maybe heâs hiding something else. It gets even worse when his yandere traits start to come through. You could be crying and questioning why, why you? Why does he love you and why does he do what he does? That gentle look, those beautiful eyes are softened and he answers in pure confusion, do what? He acts surprised, are you sure you have the right guy? That doesnât seem like Lilia does it? Oh well, the cat is out of the bag and while he had fun playing around with you, guess itâs time he gets serious (book 2 serious). His devilish grin is back and instead of it being of a playful nature, heâs hiding some ill intent toward you. His smile that usually would bring one to your face strikes fear, is this all a game to him? When he warns you of the consequences of defying him or escaping, he still has the grin on his face and that friendly tone, but the words he says are a bit frightening. Is he joking with you? Is it worth the risk? Like Rook, you never know if heâs telling the truth so should you risk it? Is it beneficial to stay put as he says and not fight him? Just like Rook, itâs about the thrill of your actions. He sits back and enjoys your reactions and how you handle the little tests he gives you.Â
His character is hard, I hope you know I struggled for a GOOD while when writing this despite how much I love him. As far as the scaling goes, heâs a 10/10 (dare I say 11?). He has the magic to back it up (well had is more like it) and heâs open to change. Darwin once said that a species' chances of survival are not determined based on strength but rather their ability to adapt. This is Lilia, heâs strong but given the situation, he can adapt to the circumstances. His sweet words are laced with poison and spread doubt inside your mind. He could say the next time you decide to flee itâs off with your legs, but he does his adorable huff, âI donât think I need to worry about that though, youâre so well-behaved right now.â He seems to be serious, but the last time he threatened that he didnât do it, so was it a fear tactic? Do you want to risk it? If you do and get caught, I see him approaching you with a hum, a smile on his face as he stares at your pitiful form, apologizing and struggling to speak. He shushes you as if you are a child. Softly petting your hair, giving you false hope that you can talk your way out of this. His hands softly trail to your ankle, youâre panicking but he continues his antics. You know well then to underestimate him, no? I can see Lilia being all three, rope because at some point he does enjoy the taste and thrill. The hunter being hunted is a delicious trope. He could be chain, heâd scold you like a child and take away your favorite toy until you think about what youâve done. He could be saw, he could be tired of your futile running and while heâs been so nice and caring youâve really pushed his buttons and if he needs to take away your freedom heâll do it. Do you want to see someone other than him? Too bad, you have no one to blame but yourself.Â
Sebek ZigboltÂ
Iâll be honest, I didnât like Sebek at first and I lowkey still am not a huge fan, but I still love him. Letâs start at the very beginning, Sebek struggles with some identity issues. Heâs very prideful of his fae side, despite being half-human. When I read how much he idolizes his mother but not his father, shit lowkey brought me to tears. I donât know if his other siblings feel the same way, but his father tries his hardest and heâs a good father, loving, caring, doting, and always makes time for them. I truly believe that Sebek grew up around people shaming his parents, specifically his father and he fell into that hole as well. As a yandere, his traits would be that of overprotective, possessive, and manipulative.Â
Continuing, Sebek hates humans despite being half one himself. Heâs very prideful when it comes to that fae part of him. I know he talks down to them and makes it seem like heâs superior to them because heâs a fae, but deep down he probably knows better than anyone that heâs not all that. I want to curse the people who made him feel like that, theyâre nothing but a bunch of gossiping hoes. If his S/O were a human, he would probably have a hard time accepting that. Heâd probably hate himself for liking them. As an overprotective yandere, heâd care for his S/O. If youâre a human, everybody knows how fragile you guys are so expect him to do everything but not without belittling you. âYou humans are so forgetful, fine Iâll help you find what you need! Just know Iâm wasting precious time I could be used to get stronger to protect Malleus, wait donât go!â He would probably tell you everything he could be doing instead of being here with you, but he dreads the idea of you leaving him. I think Sebek would see his S/O as a stress relief, but not in that way. Heâd be like Malleus who thinks youâre the only one who can understand him to some extent but donât expect any special treatment. Heâs very contradicting, âA human like you wouldnât understand what I mean! W-wait, but what were you saying?âÂ
Youâre so fragile, try not to double down and break! Youâre only holding him back from his true potential, but donât think about leaving! He needs to show you how amazing he is! The type who would see you get picked on and save you from them only to say, âwho wouldnât pick on you? I mean look at you! W-wait! Typical humans, wonât thank someone who saved them!â Honestly, if you see him coming your way just turn your ass around. Save yourself the emotional whiplash. This is where his âmanipulationâ side comes out, heâll try to get you to depend on him to boost his ego, only to realize you want nothing to do with him. Sure, youâre thankful that heâs there to help but if heâs just going to berate you for being yourself then what's the point? Heâll show signs of weakness that get you to think that he needs you but then proceeds to act the same. Itâs not worth it in the long run but if Sebek is struggling, then we should help. Going back to him seeing you as someone who can understand him, this goes hand in hand. At times yes, you understand what Sebek is going through. The need to be the best and somehow stand out, the feeling that he needs to make up for what lacks, that being his other fae side.Â
Trying to get him to understand that itâs all an external factor that is making him feel that way isnât helping. Heâd shout and say that you nothing, so no point in helping someone who doesnât want to help. Regardless, he does try to help you or at the very least love you in some twisted way. He cares for you because despite not liking humans, heâll give credit where credit is due. He thinks youâre very strong but also very stupid. You managed to handle over 5 over-blots which is impressive but the fact that youâre always smack in the middle of them, how reckless! Soon youâll get the title of âhis humanâ, doesnât that sound great? Silver would be confused and Lilia would be somewhat content that Sebek is changing for the better! Malleus would probably be content knowing that Sebek isnât always there and is finally directing his energy somewhere else. While he has the support of his dorm, Sebek would constantly deny his feelings. He does love you, but he hates that he loves you. He tells you he hates you, that youâre going to hold him back, that youâre not worthy but at the same time he canât stand the idea of you spending time with anyone else.Â
While his possessiveness isnât like the others, he tries to make it like a training regiment. Heâd push his S/O to be better, to be the better version of themselves. While he loves you, he wants to be proud of the person heâs next to, again emotional whiplash. Heâd explain how heâs doing this because you need it! Heâll take over your time and try to mold you into someone whose traits stand out more than their human side. Youâre his responsibility and under his care, so heâll take care of you to the extent of educating you. I think he would isolate you from your friends, after all, theyâre a bunch of good-for-nothings who arenât fit to protect Malleus. So this is what itâs really been about, itâs never been about what Sebek likes but rather being someone who Malleus could approve of. Sebek would not understand you, heâd call you silly humans for harboring such feelings and how youâre so complicated, itâs annoying. Your feelings are so strange, you should be glad that Malleus approves of you. All his hard work is finally paying off!Â
As far as danger level, heâs a 5/10. Heâs not a danger to you at the start, heâs really just annoying. Sebek has some things that he needs to work on but theyâre not something he can do on his own. This is why he needs you and as much as you hate the idea or could care less, there is someone about him that guides you to him (or Lilia and Malleus causally threatening you). He could care less about you (or so he says) but as much as he says that, he cares for you deeply to some extent. Youâre his support and he doesnât want you to leave him, to add insult to injury heâs probably delusional and created this friendship/rift with you. On the rope-chain-saw scale, heâd be a chain leaning to saw. Itâs not his restrictions but his training regiment on making you a better person that keeps you trapped. Heâs basically in control of your life, dictating whatâs the best course of action to mold you into someone others can be proud of. Letâs be honest, it was never what he wanted because if it was, youâd be perfect the way you are. Itâs about the social pressure of others and maybe something he created that makes him strive harder to shape you into a pretty gem that he can show off to others. Towards the end, he becomes more aggressive because what is the point of this futile fighting? Youâve come so far, now youâre just throwing it all away? At first, he was strict but a bit lenient, youâre a human so, of course, your capabilities are limited. After a while, heâs frustrated. Like when youâre teaching someone and after 30 minutes of them not getting it, youâre frustrated and ready to give up. Heâd insult you, yell at you, and he may hurt you. Itâs for your own good he reminds you, itâs your fault heâs doing this. Heâd get stricter if youâre not getting it through your skull and start taking away your freedom little by little. I donât want to say itâs like a doll that he gets to dress us because heâs a bit more aggressive, but itâs like a soldier and his general. He leads, and you follow. You donât question him because heâs doing this for you.Â
Silver (no last name :( )Â
My adoptive son, my boy! So Iâm going to go ahead and say it, heâs not meant to be a yandere. Like the theory that heâs supposed to be in RSA and that heâs a hero as opposed to a villain? Yeah, I believe it. For that reason, heâs hard to see as a yandere (ironic because I can see Neige as one and possibly Chenya but not him) and if he does ever show traits like that, itâs because he has Lilia and Malleus to push him to that. One thing I didnât mention at the start, is that Diamonia see each other like family, that being said this is one dorm (like Pomefiore) that stick together and actually encourage their yandere behavior. His main traits would be overprotectiveness, manipulative, and possessive.Â
Starting off strong, I donât see him as a yandere, in fact, heâs the only sane mf up in this dorm! He would never hurt you nor would he ever want to. If anything, heâll save you from danger and care for you. Even if he wasnât a yandere, heâd still be overprotective of his S/O. Heâd be a sweet lover, heâd walk you to and from class and would ask special permission from Malleus to be able to leave his side for a little bit. Sebek might yell at him and call him irresponsible, but Malleus is intrigued so he allows it. Lilia is ecstatic! They really do grow up so fast, he remembers seeing Silver as a young boy and now heâs all grown up, even ready to date someone! Not to mention, he feels comfortable sleeping around you. He would use your lap as a pillow, sleeping peacefully as he has sweet dreams of you and him. Itâs such a peaceful life. Heâd help you study any subjects, telling you stories of his past and his life, and heâd even invite you to Diasomnia to meet his family. What could go wrong?Â
Well, itâs under the influence of his family where it goes wrong. Maybe, just maybe you and Silver arenât together just yet, he was a bit shy. Did someone else start to put the moves on you? They started to ask you out, and take up your time and the time you spent with Silver begins to diminish. Little by little, eventually Silver begins to accept that this is fate. If this made you happy, heâd protect you from the shadows and would let you be happy. Only thing is, Lilia didnât let that slide. What do you mean you arenât in love with Silver? Oh, that wonât do! After all, if you love each other why would you ever want to leave? Silver is another person who wants that storybook romance, heâd be such a gentle and caring lover, but Lilia and Malleus are the poison that taints him. His father would never be wrong and even Malleus is agreeing, so there must be something Silver isnât seeing. Heâd start to be a bit more assertive, offering to walk you to class again and spending time with you. Heâll steal you back from the others who took you away in the first place. Soon, youâll start expecting Silver and patiently waiting for him.Â
Just like how he cares and wishes to protect Malleus, heâll hold you in the same regard. Youâre special, you mean the world to him. As his father says, youâre the sun that greets his day! So donât be surprised when he suddenly starts showing up to everything. Silver would never see you as something to own, sure youâre âhis crushâ but aside from that, it would be immoral to claim you as if you were a prize. Lilia seems to think differently, I mean youâre practically together no? If Silver truly does love you, then surely he would fight for you no? Lilia would remind him that if he lets you go, someone will take him. If he seems weak, who is to say someone wonât come and steal you, much less hurt you to get to him? He needs to be on that ASAP! Though Silver doesnât want to keep you on a leash like that, itâs hard to go against his fatherâs and future king's advice. Surely they speak from experience. Silver would start small, continuing to take up your time without it interfering with his club or other duties. When someone notices that youâve been spending time with him, theyâd ask if youâre together or not. Before you have the chance to say anything, Silver is beating you to it and answers, âyes we are.â Heâs a bit of an air-head at times so maybe heâs not aware of what that means. Aside from taking up your time as his, he wouldnât do or say anything too drastic unless pushed towards it.Â
Unlike the rest of Diasomnia, Silver has morals. Unlike Malleus or Briar Valley which happens to be a dark and foreboding place, Silver is different. He was raised under Liliaâs influence but Iâm sure that he also wants to cultivate his own path, which is why I say heâs not a yandere of his own free will. He wants to protect you, he wants to love you, but heâll also respect you and your decisions. Lilia on the other hand will push and brainwash Silver to believe it HAS to be him. Silver is training to be a knight for Malleus, but he can be a knight for you as well! It has to be Silver, nobody else will treat you the same. Lilia is no fool and can see that Silver is fighting his inner demons so he redirects his doubts. Sure, Silver doesnât want to claim you nor force you, so he wonât. Instead, Lilia convinces him that nobody else but him is suited to take care of you. Heâs already a knight in training but heâs been around you for so long, there is no one better. He starts to tell Silver that it has to be him, nobody else. Maybe even exaggerate and say, ânot even I could be suited to take care of them, Silver donât you see? Youâre their knight.â Silver would see it like that, the relationship switching to that of knight and royalty.
His love would be suffocating. Youâre wrapped around his arms and heâs not letting go, âYouâre safe with me my love.â There could be no real danger, but he somehow believed that if there ever was, he was the only one qualified to protect you. You two have a bond unlike any other, you trust him so much and heâs not willing to break it. I donât want to say heâs manipulative, but he can guilt-trip you. He knows heâs not perfect, his narcolepsy sometimes holds him back and while they tried to cure him, it just wasn't enough. Heâs here to repay a debt, the debt he somehow thinks he owes to Lilia and Malleus for raising him. He doesnât mean harm, I mean heâs such a kind soul. He cares for his father and Malleus, no doubt he means well. Then again, has Silver ever once hurt you? He probably doesnât even know heâs guilt-tripping you, he just assumes heâs confining in a trusted friend who happens to be so nice. I can see an instance where youâve had enough, telling Silver that youâre fine and he doesnât need to be hovering over you. Thereâs no danger and nobody is out to get you, but he so stubbornly scolds you saying that the moment you lower your guard theyâre there. Heâs here so you can lower it, if you were someone of royalty, heâd become the very castle walls that protect you. You donât need to fear, heâs here.Â
Heâs a 3/10 on the danger scale, the only thing heâd be is suffocating by how much he hovers over you. He doesnât mean to, want to, or plans to hurt you. Any and everything he does is for your safety (or so he believes). If he ever believed that your reckless behavior posed a threat, he would probably keep you locked in a room or chained. He constantly reminds you, âitâs for your safety, please understandâ. So he gets some points because he can be unpredictable, but the bottom line is he does it out of love and the need to protect. Not as a selfish desire, yet. Heâs a rope on the rope-chain-saw scale because heâs not one to take away restrictions and make you feel like you have to earn them. Heâd only ever resort to those methods if he felt like you were a danger to yourself, because of this you could probably get the drop on Silver but his dad and future king are right there ready to alert him. You managed to get Silver out of the room while you plan your escape through the window, but there Lilia is, âI wouldnât do that if I were you. Youâd be hurting Silverâs feelings after he went through the trouble of caring for you. Not to mention, you wouldnât get that far.â Over time, he would start to be more alert and you wonât be able to get the drop on him, sure his a bit of an air-head but you canât fool him twice. In the end, your safety and protection matter the most and I see Silver being the person who starts to see what Lilia means. Youâre safer tucked away in a tower than so be it. If you must suffer the same fate he does and sleep, so be it. It was never about keeping you, it was about protecting you.

Random Yandere Malleus Draconia headcanons
Needing more yan Mal request
Malleus would genuinely think that his feelings and ways of behaving in a relationship would be normal.
You could try to make him understand that it's not normalâŠ
However, Malleus love would be blind and deaf.
Usually you could easily see when Malleus would be in a bad mood.
Thunderstorms would rage violently over the entire NRC.
A Yandere dragon wouldn't really be good at hiding his feelings.
Usually when things get difficult Malleus casts a sleep curse.
You shouldn't question him too much.
Malleus would love to hug you when you are asleep.
At least your sleep rhythm would be good XD
Malleus really wouldn't be good with technologyâŠ
However, this does not mean that he does not have the ability to locate you.
Be careful with the gifts you get from him.

100%
yandere!malleus draconia x (female) reader cw: yandere, unhealthy behaviors/relationship, pregnancy, implied baby-trapping, captivity, very vague and slight implications of codependency, angst note - your mobile phone was at 100% when he took you away. with time, the percentage has diminished. so, too, does your hope for a brighter future.
The windowpane is spattered with rain.
Sitting cozy in a cushioned alcove, you watch the droplets slide down in regal rivulets, consolidating to form single streaks. The scenery beyond the window is bleak and drearyâa despondent landscape of gnarled, leafless trees and scratchy brambles stretching towards a dark, dismal sky. Sometimes you liken the rain to tears, wondering if Mother Nature weeps for all creatures or simply for you and your situation. Rare are the days in which the sun shines upon the craggy stone façade of your captorâs castle, and she is as benevolent as she is cruel.
For all of its sumptuous splendor, generational wealth filling the interior with priceless heirlooms and relics, it is an empty, cold structure. Youâve taken to enveloping yourself in thick furs, if only because these furs do not speak like the monster who so humbly offers his embrace. Though youâve always considered yourself of strong, sturdy mind, your restraint is thinning. As the days pass and you shed clothing sizes like theyâre second skins, you find yourself drawn to warmth.
Which is, ironically enough, contradictory to your current temperament. The windows, frigid like the grave, provide solace you cannot find anywhere elseâfor it is only tender warmth you receive from him. Had he not been so merciful, perhaps it would have been easier to shrink away and truly loathe him with every ounce of your being.
And yet, in order to escape the warmth which enshrouds, you seek the cold, bitter windows and their rain-weary countenance.
Lying beside you on the pillows, snoozing the afternoon away, a calico cat snores idly. She was a gift from him. You were neglectful of your mental health and thus, as per his guardâs suggestion, he sought to find a cat to cure your loneliness and inspire some form of happiness. You appreciate Silverâgenuinely, you doâbut the good luck a calico brings is not nearly enough to rescue you from captivity.
She was a stray, a scrawny thing with a limp and one bad eye. You took to her right away, scooping her up in your arms and lovingly naming her Cotton. Similarly, she returned your affections, rubbing her head against your palm and purring pleasantly.
Now she likes to nudge the dome that is your stomach, a great, round thing at only six months. Sometimes you think sheâs more motherly than you are. Youâve never been able to care for much of anything. Plants wither under your touch, recipes spoil even when you follow them to the letter, and your electronics crack.
Your phone, more fractured than your very heart, is cold in your hands. The screen is blank; itâs dying. It was at 100% before. Now itâs been reduced to a sad 7%. There is no reception or connection to be had in Briar Valley. Your phone, once so powerful and all-knowing, is but a hollow shell. Useless. A digital photo album will expire at its final hour, and thereâs no charger. He offered to use his magic to charge it, but he has never known his own strength and you couldnât risk losing the treasured memories stored within.
Sometimes youâd return to old message logs and read through them. Now you canât do that, lest you drain the battery quicker than intended.
âSo this is where youâve retreated,â Malleus notes, poking his head around the corner of a towering bookcase. Concern settles on his features. âAre you well? Sebek tells me you were absent for breakfast.â âI wasnât hungry,â you mutter, watching his reflection through the stormy glass.
Malleus glances at Cotton and then at your phone as it rests in your clasp. âMay I trouble you to eat just a little, if only some fruit?â
âIâm not hungry.â He nods, stalling. âWill you join me for lunch?â
âIf I must.â
A small smile lifts his lips. âAre you cold? It canât be very comfortable to sit there for such a long time. Youâll catch your death.â
âI hope.â
He tuts in disapproval and shrugs out of his cloak, draping it over you even though youâre already wearing a fleece robe. Malleus assesses you with a fleeting once-over.
âIt doesnât hurt to layer. You must understand where Iâm coming from, dearest. Extreme temperatures serve to weaken those who are already so fragile.â
âIâm not fragile,â you snap, turning to scowl.
He doesnât flinch at the heat smoldering in your eyes. âYouâre human.â
âHow many times did you have to practice that to come to terms with it?â
Malleusâs verdant stare narrows; his frown tightens. âItâs the truth.â
âI didnât think youâd confront it.â
âI must if Iâm to understandâŠâ He exhales through his nose, deflating somewhat. âYouâre in fine health. The physician tells me so. Thereâs no need to worry ourselves with ineffectual what-ifs.â
You turn your gaze on the sprawling forest next, unwilling to discuss the report and its subsequent conclusion: If she remains in good health and follows the recommended diet for an expecting mother, sheâll carry to term.
âMy phone is dying, Malleus.â
âIs that not life? Lilia once said so.â
âMy pictures⊠My everything is stored in this phone. It means so much to me.â
âTruly? Is there not a way to make physical copies of these photographs?â
âUnless Briar Valley has the technology to do soâŠâ
âIâm afraid not.â
Malleus takes a daring step closer, endeavoring to comfort you. Cotton cracks her good eye open to peer at him. She hisses low in her throat, a protector standing small against something so tall. Pouting, clearly disheartened, Malleus heeds her warning and chooses to linger just within the bounds she deems acceptable.
âYeah, thatâs what I assumed.â
You heave a dejected sigh, your shoulders drooping. Seeking to cleanse your visual palate, you power the device on. 5% blinks back at you, an insignificant number sitting in a corner that you normally wouldnât have paid much mind to. Now it weighs heavy, a reminder that the end is encroaching.
âI wouldâve liked to keep these photos forever,â you whisper, mostly to yourself. Malleus hums his acknowledgement; you think he knows the feelingâor some variant of it, at least. âIf I lose these picturesâŠâ
âDo you not have memories?â
âI do, but it isnât the same. One day Iâll grow old and my memory will be frail. I wonât remember nearly as much as I do now. Those memories will become ghosts and eventually Iâllââ
âYou will not.â Thereâs a finality to the declarationâyou wonât leave me; you wonât drain or die like this mobile device.
You rest your head against the window. The cool glass soothes your soul. I wonder what the others are up to right now⊠You place your hand upon your belly. I wonder if theyâd have any good ideas for a name. Iâm terrible at naming things. I can never pick something that feels right.
âIâd like to have a funeral for my phone.â
But maybe there is no right thing.
âOf course,â he agrees, perfectly serious. You will have that phone funeral, just as you will have every other request you makeâhowever patently absurd it may seem. (Every other request except for freedom, of course.) âMaterials may not have the same worth as a loved one, but the experiences they provide are just as valuable. Surely, no? Otherwise I would not feel so troubled when Roaring DragoâŠâ Pausing to search for the placeholder, Malleus glances at your phone. âPerhaps there is no greater tragedy than existence itself.â
âItâs the most bittersweet burden,â you echo, scrolling through each picture with wistful remembrance. âBut then Iâd rather know the fleeting frivolity of life than endure hundreds of years of solitude. It makes me appreciate everything that much more.â
You stop at a picture of you and Malleus, a photo snapped by Lilia himself. Part of you often wonders why he chose youâwhy he adores you to such a degree when you, like everyone else, will inevitably perish. But therein lies the allure: That which is unobtainable is even more tempting. And because there is only one of you, a human destined to one day return to her home world, your very presence is more fleeting than a dream.
To Malleus, who has always dreamt, fond and fervent, of the unobtainable mundanity of normal life, you are a sweet, tangible blessing.
âHorns, do you think Iâll ever get another chance to have my phone at 100%?â
He softens under the nickname. It means more to him than his lofty station. âWould you like to know that joy?â
âIt would be nice, yes, but then Iâd just get sad when it reaches zero. I guess I should be grateful itâs stayed alive for this long. Sorry, itâs a stupid question. Just forget it.â
âNonsense. There is no such thing.â He reaches to touch your cheek, but Cotton hisses again and so he refrains. She stands on unsteady legs and climbs into your lap, perching awkwardly in spite of your rounded belly. The sight draws a deep chuckle from him. âYour feline friend is quite taken with you.â
âItâs probably because Iâm warm. She likes my belly a lot.â
âAs do I.â
You roll your eyes.
âYour beauty is most beguiling. Thereâs a certain radiance to your person. Itâs very charming. Do you not agree?â
âFlattery will get you nowhereâdefinitely not in Cottonâs good graces.â
âIâm simply voicing a fact.â
Your hand slides down from your stomach to pat Cotton. She purrs under your touch, and a weak approximation of a smile tugs at your lips. Amidst all of this sorrow, she is a glimmer of hope. In a way, sheâs like youâa stray without a place in this world, snatched from the cobbles she once wandered and confined in a cage of royal opulence. Your similarities are striking, if not immensely devastating.
âFact or not, I donât care if I look pretty. It means nothing to me.â
âTo be impartial towards appearances⊠Quite a noble mindset.â
I never once thought you were scary or strange, Horns. Even now.
You look at your phone once more. 3% flickers back.
Youâre just lost, and in being lost you found me. But I was also lost. I never even belonged in this world to begin withâŠ
âIâm not going to be a good mother.â
âYou canât know that.âÂ
âI canât even take care of myself.â
âI shall care for you when you find yourself unable to.â
âIâd rather you not.â
With Cotton having curled on your lap, slumbering peacefully, Malleus chances to close the gap. His broad frame leans to make up for the difference in height, and he runs cold fingers along your cheek. He brushes away the tears you werenât even aware you were shedding.
You grip your phone in shaky hands, your shoulders hunched. Thereâs a piercing ache in your chest, pain stabbing all the way through to your heart. It persists when you power it off, unable to delight in pictorial reminiscence for a moment longer. Silent like death, you sob; seismic dismay shudders through you in waves. Distantly, in a forgotten corner of your brain, you suspect this may be the last time youâll ever use your phone. The last time youâll ever look upon the photos youâve amassed. Photos of friends, class notes, food. Photos snapped by mistake, blurry and unfocused. Photos taken when Ace and Grim stole your phone. Precious memories are preserved within the permanence of a photo albumâan album that only remains everlasting so long as you keep your phone charged.
Your final shred of the world beyond Briar Valley vanishes in a blip, leaving you with the dark void that is an empty screen. Brutal is the agony, contorting your face, and you bawl like youâve just witnessed the end of a life.
In a way, you have. You held it in the palm of your hands, and you watched it wither. Watched the percentages drop through numbers, double digits easing into singles. Watched every week and tried to spare your beloved phone of its fate. Watched and attempted to stall the impossibleâa foolish undertaking. This was inevitable; you knew this, and yet youâre still mourning.
Perhaps that is the most tragic facet of existence. From the moment one is born, they are mourning. Humans mourn losing timeâof allowing it to slip through their fingers when they should have put it to better use. Humans mourn aging even though it is celebrated yearly. Humans mourn for things that are inhumanâfor robots stuck in an endless cycle of some menial task while gears grow rusted and systems shut down or trapped on a distant planet, never to return home. For the fruit that falls from trees and rots, trampled and forgotten. For the endings, good and bad, of novels. For art that will never see the light of day because it has been destroyed or stolen or silenced. For the friends they meet, have met, and will meet.
You mourn because you know itâs impending, and you spend all of your life coming to terms with it, only to break down when it finally happens because the truth of the matter is that you will never be prepared no matter how much you prepare yourself. You mourn because youâre a complex human with complex emotions, surviving in a complex world with millions of intricacies, and the only way to weather misery is to mourn.
To the little life cradled in your womb, who knows not of these difficulties yet, they cannot fathom the anguish that accompanies loss. And right now that is all you can hope forâa life without loss.
But that is impossible because loss is true to everyoneâs experience. It is part of existence, and existence is inescapable.
Malleus does not gather you in his arms. He will do so if you ask, and he knows you want to ask, which is precisely why he waits. But youâre stubborn and you refuse to give in to the temptation, let alone grant him the satisfaction. It doesnât offend him.
The windowpane is spattered with rain. So, too, is your phone, spotted with tears and snot.
Briefly, you wonder if you still look beautiful to Malleus.
Even at your ugliest, he would still cherish you. Desperately, as if he might lose you.
Knowing this does not soften the gutting grief.

Overblot Universe (3) | Yandere Twisted Wonderland
Part 1 âą 2 âą4âą 5
You could feel the urge to sleep pulling at your eyes
Faint voices sounding muddled had you fighting a littleÂ
As you found your eyes drooping once again you could feel something wrap around your arms
Naturally you pull away, reminding you of those inky tentacles that held you captive a short while ago
You pause when you hear the sound of vines snapping
These werenât tentacles
But vinesÂ
Feeling the circumference of the vine you searched for thorns
Finding that they felt shaved and dulled
The detail brought a strange sense of comfortÂ
The kind you had when you were with your dear horned friendÂ
You follow their pull realizing the vines had come from an oval source of light
Blocking your eyes, you could finally make out where the light was coming from
The comforting green light shed through giant leaves that were covering the sun
It looked like you were back in Night Ravenâs Botanical garden
Though it looked incredibly over grownÂ
â(Y/n) there you are! Whereâd you go? My tummyâs going to kill me!â
The pitchy voice had you perking up, your eyes watering as you recognized the little fur ball running to you
âGrim!â
âWah! What is the meaning of this Hench human!â
You couldnât help the tears that dripped into his grey fur
âI missed you so much!â
âHeh?! Why would you miss me? You been sleepinâ in here the whole time.â
âHave I?â
Just then you realized the encounters with the overblot versions of the dorm leaders were incredibly fuzzyÂ
Like bad dreams
Giving Grim one last squeeze before releasing him you inhaled knowing that was all it was
Just bad dreams
âGrim, I thought you were hungry enough to wake them up quickly?â
âI was! But suddenly they just grabbed me and started to talking nonsense!â
The vice dorm leader shook his head before smiling at you and holding his hand out to you
âGlad to see youâre awake enough to make your appointment!â
âWhat do you mean Jamil?â
He smiled pulling you up and into his sideÂ
Holding you incredibly close as he walked into the overgrown expanse of the vegetation
Jamil looked heavenly under the shaded natural light
He looked so happy
Something in you told you not to ask about Kalim
Before you could question him more he pulls back a particularly large leaf to reveal something lovely
A picnic with a number of dishes that made your mouth water and sitting wistfully beside them was none other thanâ
âTsunotaro!?â
âChild of Man, Iâm glad that youâre here to join us!â
Grim ran past you to get to the food you let Jamil intertwine his fingers with yours as he led you to the blanket
In no time at all you were eating and chattingÂ
The ghosts of inky hands and tentacles leaving your mind every now and then as you spoke more and more with your friends
Sometimes the thought of how weird this pair up was but you had to pay attention Malleus was spoon feeding something to you
And even when the food was all gone and Grim was napping on your stomachÂ
All that existed of the nightmare before was the faint memory of ink which was constantly overshadowed by Jamil and MalleusÂ
âThatâs what Iâm saying: these clouds look like a bat!â
âI disagree. A Briar Valley bat is much larger than a fruit batâŠand their tails are much larger.â
âBut theyâre still classified as a bat right?â
âTechnically.â
âSee? (Y/n), please help him understand.â
Itâs niceâŠ.to relax like thisÂ
âHey uh how long have I been sleeping?â
âNot long I am sure. You left shortly after our breakfast together and Grim claimed you went on your own after that.â
âReally? Thatâs not how I remember itâŠâ
âOh Really? What do you remember?â
That fuzzy feeling was there againÂ
you can feel your head ache while you tried to make the image in your head clearer
But alas it never did
âNothing. Anyway letâs just go back to our special day!â
âYes, letâs. You both have promised to indulge in our mini-gargoyle-making session.â
As promised all three of you separated a large block of clay that you werenât aware that they brought
Beginining to shape mini gargoyles with itÂ
It was hard using the utensils Malleus seems to have bought
But they were great
It was all going great
Until you heard Jamil whimper
Looking up you hadnât expected what you were seeing
Watching as Jamilâs figure faded like an image on a screen
Phasing in an out the clay falling from his fingers as it continued
âJamil! Are you okay whatâs wrong?â
âDo not tell meâŠâÂ
Looking over at Tsunotarou, his face was twisted and his eyes were glaring at the flickering JamilÂ
But it didnât seem that he was directing that hatred at him but someone else
âJamil if I release you can you stop him?â
âHim?â
âI-Iâm not sure I canât feel the othersâack!â
Jamil belted out another round of coughingÂ
âJamil, Malleus what is going on!?â
Malleusâ glare was now directed at youÂ
Taking his real name leaving your lips as an insult in and of itself
â(Y/n), I think itâs best you go back to sleep.â
The second the word left his mouth you felt a weight on all your muscles
Pulling at your eyelids and even your consciousness
But you fought backÂ
Backing away from the fae who was now worriedly reaching out for you
Instead you ended up closer to Jamil trying to grab onto his flickering form
â(Yâ-Yâ/n-n-n-)! P-lease!â
His form continued to flicker out of existence allowing you to see the familiar image of the Overblotted Jamil
âViper make them sleep. I will come to your aid next. I just need you to make them sleep!â
The word had the same pull but you were getting used to it
Pushing through you watched the phasing Overblotted Jamilâs eyes light up as he tried to say something
Before he could he screamed out finally dissipating into nothingness
His disappearance revealed something more to youÂ
The green paradise youâd been in began to melt away churning and piling into mounds of inkÂ
Ink that you found yourself sinking into
â(Y/n)!!!â
Malleusâ layered voice was screeching and the world was shaking
But that wasnât stopping your quick descent and sooner than you could react your vision was engulfed in blackness
The feeling of your heart being pulled out of something deep was what met you when you found you could open your eyes once again
âThere you should be free of that creatures curse. Now my King weâve much to catch up on.â

The âLittle Things theyâ do(Diasomnia)
You thought itâll be fine.stay a night or two in Diasomnia hoping nothing much will happen. Maybe you did expect a chase or some creepy interaction. To be honest this is more than you bargained for
âGuys Iâm leavingâ I shouted as I began to walk to the front door. When I tried the handles BOOM lightning struck in front of the building as it began to storm on an odd sunny evening âoh a shame. To think we had such clear skysâ lilia spoke from the stairwell âWell we canât have you soaked out there so how about you stay for a bit hmm⊠just until the rain clearsâ Lilia suggested. Seeing as i almost got struck by lightning, i agree which made the ghost grin âSplendid. Gather everyone, weâre all going to have one last brunch before you leave, okâ lilia ordered so i did. Silver and Sebek were in the indoor training room and Malleus was in the library.Brunch was ready after everyone had gathered in the dining room. The food was some sandwiches which look surprisingly edible, this is coming from lilia after all. âYouâve been here for some time even I wasn't expecting youâll last so longâ Lilia spoke âtell me do you enjoy our companyâ He ask âwellâŠWhen you guys are not threatening my life i say you guys are ok in my bookâ I replied honestly. âOh we couldn't just kill you prematurely. Not with that necklace onâ lilia spoke as he points to the gem on my neck âI see no need for it. I would say just throw it awayâ sebek huffed âWell I donât want an attachment so Iâm keeping it onâ i replied.thunder grew louder âbut why not? Surely you think being a ghost is that badâ lilia asked âthink about it. We can all be together like the old daysâ he smiled trying to cut through the tension âbut I like being alive and i donât want to be here forever foreverâ i replied âI see⊠well it canât be helped but i still would say better now than everâ Lilia replied as he sneaked a glance at malleusâŠI felt something sharp prickling my ankles, that light scratch seems to cause me to be severely drowsy. I tried to form my words yet nothing came out. My vision blurred and the last thing I saw was a sinister smile.
------------------Lilia------------------------ âWho knew, this task is more devious then i anticipatedâ Lilia spoke. My eyes fluttered open only to feel constricted âoh your awakeâ Lilia spoke âI would be more surprise you wake up from malleusâs sleeping spell but then againâŠ.I did get a little excited and mightâve kissed your lipsâ Lilia laughed âdonât worry i did nothing elseâŠwell yetâ he adds as he hops on the bed âI do hope you find these chains comfortable, i would say these are far better then the leather ones i foundâ Lilia smiles as he presents the heavy locket âlet me go. This isn't funnyâ I spoke, giving him a glare which only made him laugh âAh~thereâs the fire I remember. Now why would I let you go only for you to escape. Your pretty words wonât cloud my judgment this timeâ Lilia said as he wagged his finger at me âthere should be some spell which can remove that amulet. Once that happens itâll only take 7 days to establish the attachment then the true ritual can beginâ he beams as he gently cups my face. His love sick eyes he cast down at me oh so lovingly. Those eyes filled with insanity. â1,000 yearsâŠ1,000 years Iâve waited and longed for your return. I waited and watched you parish. Over and over again. But now we can forget that and begin a new life here together, all of usâ Lilia smiled as he caressed my cheek with his thumb. âI know this may hurt our trust but it is all in good faith my dearâ he spoke as he kissed my forehead. He removes himself from my face and slides off the bed âIâll be back to bring you dinner. You must be hungry, you were sleeping for such a long timeâ Lilia spoke before leaving the room. I need to get out. When I moved I felt an uncomfortable feeling in my skin. In my ankle there was a large thorn which was lightly embedded in my skin. This thorn mustâve stuck on me when I fainted. I twisted my body and plucked the thorn from me. I quietly slid off the bed with the thorn in hand and began picking the lock. Once I heard that click, the chains I had on quickly slid off so I stood up away from the chain and quickly left the room.
Lilia sighs in bitter disappointment as he glances at the now empty room âwhy must you reject our devotionâ he mumbled âis there something wrong fatherâ silver spoke holding the food behind him âthey have escapedâ lilia said as he opened the door much to silverâs shock âIâll search immediatelyâ Silver spoke hastily as he practically shoves the the trey into liliaâs arms then running off. Despite the situation Lilia canât help but smile. He calmly placed down the trey on the stand, then he reached from underneath the bed to reveal a large casing.inside was a large green, gemlike cleaver covered in silver thorns âit seems I have to force my hand.â he mumbles as he takes the clever out. He exits the room and begins his search âYou will submit dear⊠One way or anotherâ
------------Sebek----------------------------------- âYOUR HIGHNESS WHERE HAVE YOU GONE TOOâ sebek shouts as i creeped around. âWhere are they?â he mumbles as he paces back and forth. âYOUR HIGHNESS RETURN AT ONCE. IF SO OUR LORD WOULD FORGIVE THIS TRANCEGRESSIONâ he shouts as he stomps off. Once I heard the close was clear I exited the room and sneaked past. The stairs are just around the corner. When i was about to reach the stairs, i was stopped by a sword âThere you areâ sebek spoke as i stepped back âI wish not to lay harm to you but I will if it means the ritual will be completeâ Sebek spoke âwhy, why do you care so muchâ I asked sounding irritated âIâve waited for decades for this moment. Waited for you to be saved. Canât you tell youâre being brainwashed â sebek spoke sternly ânow you Will go back to your chambers until our master can free you from those shackles the crow put on youâ sebek commanded âyou lost me at returning. Iâm leavingâ i spoke as I continued to step away, then I sprinted away âYOU HIGHNESS COME BACKâ Sebek shouted as he followed. I managed to loop around and lose sebek by hiding in rooms again. I finally reached the stairs. I ran to the front door only to realize itâs locked, i tried unlocking it but it was stuck. My necklace started vibrating, alerting me of someone coming near, so i ran to the back door.
--------Silver---------------------------------- The back was open allowing me to escape through the forest. It was dark out,not even the moon shines. My lungs burn and my legs feel tender causing me to collapse as the adrenaline disappears. Then I heard a twig snap. I whipped my head around to see silver âlook I donât want to hear it. Let me leave in peace then perhaps i could forgive yallâ I bargainedâi canât do thatâ silver spoke sadly âthen why are you hereâ I asked âto help youâ he replied as he walked closer âwell youâre not helping at allâ I huffed âI am. We all are. Weâre going to set you free. Make things rightâ silver explains as he creeps closer âplease youâre not in your right mind but malleus can help you if you can just trust usâ Silver pleads âno no no no. You. All of you are trying to end my life and make me live here for eternityâ I replied as i got up âYou donât understand.â Silver said âthen what am i not gettingâ I asked âWe want to get your memories back, We want to end your suffering. I want to make amends, but you have to trust us. This is the only wayâ Silver explains but i shook my head âYou canât leave. Not again, I wonât let youâ Silver spoke more sternly. He rushed forward causing me to fall back but before he could reach me, a barrier was made which bounced him back. Whatever this was, it weakened him, i could tell as he was a bit faded. While Silver was stunned I ran off and made my way to the front.
----------------Malleus--------------------
I ran and kept running until I reached a familiar woods. Relief washed over me as I came closer to the main house. Then I tripped. I ignored this and tried to get up only feeling a tug on my leg, vines wrapped around tightly on my ankle and slowly climb up to my calf ây/nâ a familiar voice spoke echoing my name though the dark woods, âMalleus I already left, just let me leaveâ I pleaded as i tried to get the vines off of me. He laughed, more like a low chuckle. He revealed himself from behind a tree âleave? Youâre forbidden to. Our souls are bound for centuries. You can never leave my sideâ Malleus stated as he drew closer âfor far too long, Iâve seen you ripped away from my grasp time and time again. What in your fragile mind do you think Iâll let this opportunity passâ he adds as he grins âyouâll be mine, finally mine. We can be together once more, by my side, ruling this land from the shadowsâ he list as his eyes filled with bliss âthis can only happen if you are free. We can correct his mistakes. This curse will be lifted and we can be together like beforeâ he adds âNo, Iâm not going through with thatâ I stated firmly. His eyes blanked almost perplexed by my words then he laughed. Booming with roaring laughter as he clutched his stomach âdo you really think you have a say in this. Perhaps that raven has rotted your mindâ he teased âyou look exhausted my love, perhaps a nice long slumber should clear your mindâ malleus smiles as more vines sprout from every corner. Each vine wrapped around my body. I felt a prick on my finger causing that drowsy feeling. My body felt weak and limb as the vines disappeared. I was in his arms as he hummed a lullaby, finally putting me to sleep.

âThe prince.. Wants to meet me?â This was certainly a surprise and one can guess so at the look on your face as look at the maid who stood by the door. You put down the book that you werenât even invested in and just read it to kill time on the time period where you were given a breakâ Yes, you were given a schedule to follow each day. It consisted of all your lessons, break periods, meal time, sleeping timeâ whatever one could think of. Although, you find the part of them deciding when you should sleep a bit unreasonable.. I mean, you were pretty sure that you are now at that age where no one would need to decide when you should go to sleep. You werenât sure who had made up this schedule of yours and so could only guess who the mastermind is.Â
âYes. He wishes you could meet him in the garden for lunch.â Although you could tell she does not want to be in the same room as you and in fact, could not even try to bother hiding the scorn on her face, she nevertheless answers you.Â
You look off to the window in thought, putting a finger to your chin. Now that Iâm thinking about it, itâs now been a few weeks since Iâve seen him.. You had assumed that heâll never want to cross paths with you after that night, seeing as he has taken great interest in staying clear of your path for this long.Â
You closed your eyes in contemplation, not that you were going to refuse the invitation in the first place since he is, after all, the prince. It would be rude to reject him, you believed, and letâs not forget to mention that if word got out that you had rejected his invitation, you have no doubt that this servant girl will spread rumours about how heartless you are to their beloved prince and that the marriage was a mistake. You could not have that now. Besides..
âAlright, Iâll go,â you conclude, turning your gaze to the girl. You had been building up your courage to meet him for a while nowâ not that you knew where he even wasâ to come and ask him about a letter you had received two days ago. Shocking as it may be, it was regarded to you. âYou may leave now.â She bows her head not out of respect but out of protocols and leaves the room quickly as if she had been waiting for the moment.Â
You sighed and returned to looking out the window. You were starting to come to peace with the fact that youâll be living with a ghost of a husband but with that invitation that you could not reject still looming over your head that had asked that you come with him, it was now impossible to do so. This will be the first time I see him after so many days.. âUrgh..â You felt your stomach turn and you suddenly felt sick. You had almost forgotten how nervous you were when you were around him but now faced with the current reality, you felt yourself break into cold sweats just as you once had during the wedding. Now thinking about it, youâre beginning to wonder if the guests that day saw the sweat drops on your forehead and the slight shake of your hands when you held hands with him for that occasion.
Picking up your cup, you take a sip of your drink and relax as the sweet taste of it melts on your tongue.
Hm.. Maybe I should change my dress beforehand. You looked down at yourself and assessed the current clothing you were wearing. It was a simple, tiffany blue dress with white pearls stitched to it and white lace tracing around the open parts of the dress such as the sleeves. It was not overly flashy since you were just staying in the castle and not going anywhere fancy.
You thought about it. It has been a while since you've even taken a glimpse of the prince and although you both are husband and wife who should not need to impress each other, you werenât remotely close to having the bonds of a couple. Youâd most likely embarrass yourself wearing the plain dress you worse right now..
â
'Uhm.. How exactly do I get to the garden?' You had left your private lounge a few minutes ago since it was nearly time to meet him; however, you found yourself lost and running late to the lunch meetup. Your eyebrows twitch as you swore you had passed the same corridor at least twice now but you couldnât be too sure since the castle looks the same almost everywhere. The manor back home wasnât this confusing.. I hate castles.
You should have asked the girl from earlier the directions to the garden before dismissing her. Oâ how could you have been so foolish enough to forget that you barely knew the layout of the castle? You wanted to slap yourself but you do not want to make yourself look crazy if someone were to come waltzing past you at that moment. Actually, you were prayingâ beggingâ to those higher up to have someone walk this hall so you could ask them for directions.Â
Take deep breaths. You can find a way, I know it! You reassure yourself. And besides, right now, you should give yourself a pat on the back since you were certainly making progress through this maze; you were sure that you were on the main floor of the castle.Â
Taking just up a few more steps ahead, you see light cascading through an open door. You are certain that it is leading outside since you doubted a chandelier could illuminate that bright still well through the day. A smile appears on your face as you walk towards the door.Â
The smile turned to one of more confidence when you stepped out into the sunlight and the cobblestone path that had grass on their sides. Now you were more than halfway to reaching the garden! You just had to walk to the back of the castleâ easy peasy! You chuckle, proudly resting your fists on your hips. It was a silly thing to be proud of if you think deeply about it but come onâ you had navigated your way in the unfamiliar castle all by yourself! You were pretty proud of that.
You took eager, hasty steps around the castle with a determined look. Garden. Garden. Gardeâ âOomph!â Just as you turned a new corner, you didnât notice the large object in your path and so you clumsily tripped. The fall was not in the slightest soft despite falling on grass.
You slowly sat up on your knees, feeling your chin swelling from the impact. You rubbed your chin and hoped that it didn't look ugly.. In fact, it would be better if you couldn't see it at all. "Ugh.." What the heck did I trip onâ oh!Â
Your eyes widened as its gaze lands on a man. His eyes were closed and his breathing was soft and steady. He does not seem to have felt the kick when you hit him and the thud when you fell since he did not open his eyes at allâ wait.Â
Is he unconscious!? Panic sets within you. If he hadn't reacted to all that, he surely must be, right? "H-hey.." You scoot closer to the unconscious male and nudge his shoulder gently. "I didn't knock you out, did I?" There was a slight shake in your voice just thinking of the possibility, but you were sure you had just tripped on his legs and not kicked his head! "Argh..! I don't know what to do!"
As if it was godsent, the male groans amidst his senseless state. Then, "Mm.. So noisy.." He slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes. O' thank heavens! He really was just asleep..! You clasped your hands together and a wide smile appeared on your face. Maybe there were a few tears of joy at the corner of your eyes threatening to fall, but who knows? You were too relieved that he was okay. In fact, you were too relieved to even question why he was even there in the first place.
"Hm?" After now being fully woken up from his nap, the man notices and cranes his head towards you, the source to his reason being awake. "Who are you?"
Ehâ You felt as if you were turned into a stone statue at his bold question. Sure, you were hated on but that reputation of yours is certainly huge. Does he seriously not know who you were?Â
"Ah, I'mâ" Just as you were about to introduce yourself, he sighs tiredly and cuts you off. "Nevermind, don't answer that.." He says. He rests an arm on his knees and droops his head, closing his eyes. Rude.. Was what you wished to say aloud but you're sure this guy won't care at all.Â
"I'm too tired.." He comments, but you're pretty sure he wasn't talking to you. Now there you were, unsure of what to do next. So awkward..Â
A cool, gentle breeze passes you by, causing your hair to be blown by the wind. You hold a hand in your head to make sure your hair doesn't become a mess since it surely would not be presentable when you meet Malâ oh.
AH, that's right! I'm already late..! Panic rises in you once more as it dawns on you that you've been making him wait for far too long now. The food has probably gone cold now, being cooled down by the breeze. "H-hey.." Your voice sounded of urgency but the man does not open his eyes to look at you. In fact.. He looks like he's gone back to sleep!
Urk..
You stare at his side profile long and hard, contemplating if you should nudge him awake again. During your awkward staring, you carefully looked at his complexion. Oh wow.. His eyelashes are pretty.. And it wasn't just his eyelashes that you found alluring; his face was also so smooth! Not a single imperfection on his symmetrical face. I'm kind of envious that a boy could be so much prettier than me.Â
"Is there something on my face?" Although his eyes remain closed, he asks you a question, catching you off guard and embarrassed. "A-ah, no.. I just thought you were pretty, is all.." You chuckled guiltily, averting your eyes to nowhere in particular.
Amidst your awkward aversion, his eyelids now flutter open, revealing his equally captivating eyes. "Why are you still here?" He asks you. There wasn't a hint of malice, just a tiny bit of annoyance from having been woken up.
You straighten your posture and move your eyes to look at him again. Although he wasn't scary, he certainly had a commanding voice. Were all the people here this authoritative? Ah, nevermind that, this was the perfect time to ask him for directions, you thought. "I, uh, I was wondering if you could point me to the garden.." You say meekly, fidgeting your fingers on your lap. Gosh we're you having a hard time remaining your eyes on him.
"The garden..?" He repeats and watches as you nod your head. He turns his gaze to the sky in deep thought. "Mm.. Then you're way off the path. This is the castle's barracks; this is on the other side of where you're heading,â he confesses nonchalantly. You felt yourself become a stone statue again but this time, felt it cracking. The confidence you once had just moments before suddenly toppled down at the confession.Â
He looks at your stiff posture with the look of a gawker. "Pfft." A smile cracks on his bored face and tries to stifle a laugh and covers it with a fist. When that could not be done, he turned his head away from the silly look you had on in fear of breaking out into loud laughter.Â
He clears his throat and calms himself of his silly antics. "Ahem. If you want, I could walk you to the garden?" You were mindlessly staring off into space when he stood up and offered you a hand. You blinked owlishly, looking dumbly at the hand in front of you before it finally clicked in your head.Â
You offer him a shy smile and a âthank youâ when you reach for his hand. "No problem," he says and takes one look at your dress before commenting, âYou should probably dust those dirt off.â
â
âHere we are.â A huge smile crept up on your face as a huge wave of relief washes over you. You scan the area to confirm if you really were in the right placeâ and you were. Tall hedges acted like walls to enclose the garden and decorated on them were all sorts of colourful flowers sprouted outside of it, albeit the shades of them could be a little brighter.. âNext time you want to go to the garden, turn right twice then left once from the dining hall,â he says, all the while not looking at you. Instead, he stares at the garden entrance with a hand resting on his hips.Â
There was a moment of silence with you two standing side by side, just a few steps apart. Oh, right! I should thankâ Your thoughts were cut short from another sigh that escaped his lips. âAnyway, I should get going now..â He mumbles which had you thinking if he was saying that to you. Just as he said that, he turned back around and scratched his head, he tiredly spoke again, âUrgh.. So much for my nap.. Now I think father will be catching up to me by now so I canât go back to sleep..â He yawns loudly, seeming to not care about manners and bothering to cover his mouth.Â
âWait, let meââ You outstretched an arm as if you were going to grab him, but it just remained hovering lazily in the air. Before you could even stop him so you could say a proper thanks, he had turned a corner and vanished from sight. âUgh.. I didnât even get his name..â
Nevermind that, you were already running late to the initial lunch meetup and you were sure that Malleus would come to an agreement with the other nobles that you were chosen by mistake. I mean, you donât recall a princess ever being this sloppy. I really should have just stayed home that day and avoided this situation entirely..Â
Your chest rises and fall as you take a deep breath to calm your nerves. Now feeling like you have collected yourself, you turned around andâ âOh..!â What is with you and running into things? You stopped yourself short, almost running into something or rather.. A someone. And Oâ boy was it a situation to be in.
Without even looking up, you already felt cold sweats break loose and your fingers began to run cold. You were well acquainted with this looming figure over you since it had happened twice and you couldnât help but take a nervous gulp. âChild of man.â Your skin crawled and your body stiffened up. You had almost forgotten the deepness of his voice and so it caught you off guard.Â
When you didn't answer him, his eyes narrowed slightly disapprovingly and took his eyes off you to look at the corner where you had just watched your guide turn to leave your sight. Just what were you staring at, he was curious, but he held his tongue. He stares at that corner a minute too long for your frantic mind who still did not dare face him. âMy eyes are up here.â He crosses his arms when he returns his full attention to you. âO-oh, yes!â You stutter. At his words you quickly snap your neck up, now nervously staring at him. However, his eyes.. Youâve always found them a frightening shade of green.Â
âAh.. Uhm..â You opened and closed your mouth a few times, trying to find the right words to start with and avert your gaze to just past his arm since you really couldnât look over his shoulder. It really is hard to look at him for more than five seconds, but you were trying your best. âYour Highness..â You decided on the first words to greet him with and you feel like it was a good choice until you see that his eyes narrow even more to which only further serve to make you feel nervous. He hums. He didnât look angry or disgusted by you, a human. But still, it was hard to tell if he was even remotely okay with you.Â
âI-Iâm terribly sorry for running late..â You picked your words carefully but they still came out shaky. When he doesnât say anything, you start to fidget with your fingers close to your chest. Argh, how am I supposed to keep living like this when my husband is scary? You close your eyes, thinking hard of some flattery words to make him less angry at you.Â
He stares at you with unreadable eyes but is certainly assessing you. You were still fearful of him, that much he knows. But after recalling Liliaâs words from that night, he calms down and relaxes his face. He was sure that it was very stern which could be the reason you look at him with fearful wide-eyes. He wants to try.. Try at getting to know you.Â
Truthfully, if you had come a minute later, it would be a sure fact that the kingdom would be ravelled in a dark storm cloud. But nevermind that, he should focus on making you be less afraid of him. âItâs fine,â he breathes out and turns on his heels and begins walking deeper into the garden. âYou are only late by just.. 45 minutes.â There was a momentâs pause in his voice, emphasizing the time. You were embarrassed since it was clear that he was being sarcastic.Â
You stood there with an evident look of a slow-witted person so he had to halt his steps. âHm? Do you not want to have lunch with me?â He cranes his head just enough to peer over his shoulders. His chartreuse-coloured eyes glazed over you. âOh.. Yes, Iâm coming..!â You blinked your stupified state away and jogged up to him whilst making sure you didnât trip again.Â
â
So awkward..Â
You found yourself sitting under a hooded gazebo that was decorated with a table and two chairs facing each other. The moment you sat down, several servants had come out of nowhere and placed all sorts of food on the table. Even with all the food on the table, your hands remained glued on your lap and focused on trying to not look at him, opting to look at a plate of untouched food in front of you. Malleus does not seem to have taken notice of how uncomfortable you were which made you feel even worse for dwelling on it. In fact, you could see a background of flowers just spinning beside him as he takes a savoury sip of his tea with closed eyes. Well, at least heâs enjoying himself, you thought.Â
âChild of man.â Your body straightens up in alert when he calls you by that nickname. He sets down his cup on the saucer with the sound of a clack as it does so. Instead of eating, he felt that you had been eyeing him for some time now but when he looks, youâd look elsewhere. You were a curious little thing, that much he had concluded. Lilia had proposed the idea to invite you for tea when he had asked how to make you be less afraid of him and even offered enthusiastically to bake sweets for you. That, however, was shut down by Malleus since he had a fair amount of those so-called delights of his, and so the kitchen staff had made all the dishes.Â
Malleus did still later ask Lilia for what should be served since he has lived long enough to have had interactions with humans before in the short decades without war. âHm? Kehehee, why, they enjoy sweets of course.â That was what he said so Malleus had the kitchen prepare all sorts of sweets along with a few none-sweet foods. However, looking at you who had not touched a single thingâ not even the slice of chocolate cake that had been deliberately placed next to youâ he could only assume that you must be unwell. Certainly, Lilia does have the tendency to fool around for someone his age, but he by no means is a liar.Â
He takes a dessert plate off the stand and places it right in front of you. âHave a try of this cake,â he says and leans back on his seat, âItâs a favoured recipe here in the kingdom that is well known for its overly sweet taste.â He made sure to emphasize the last few words in hopes that they might make you want to eat it. If you donât eat it then surely there must be something wrong with you.Â
The intense stare heâs giving you is making you more nervous, but he had invited you to eat so you should kindly accept the food heâs offering you. âMn. Thank you.â You instinctively look upâ something you do when thanking someone is to look at them to express sincerity. But alas, you got spooked at his frightening eyes that you flinched away.Â
With shaky hands, you reached for the fork at armâs length meant for dessert. No matter whether you will like it or not, you have to say something nice, you thought, since he did say that it was a loved sweet in the Valley and so must be his favourite as well.Â
âOh..!â The taste melts on your tongue the moment you take the forkful of it in your mouth. It was sweet, yes, but not overly too sweet just as he had saidâ maybe you just have a sweet tooth. It reminded you of a cloud.
Suddenly, you felt relaxed as if you had totally forgotten whom you sat across. That did not bother the fae, however. Despite the stoic expression painted on his face, he felt relieved that youâre eating and that you werenât sick at all. He brings his cup to his lips again and watches at the adorable light that flicker across your eyes when you take more bites. You looked exactly as Silver once did when he was a baby, he thinks.Â
â
Instead of going for a quiet lunch and then returning to following your schedule down to a T just as you had thought, he invited you further to a walk in the garden. Well, you hadnât left the palace ever since coming here and this was the most time you have spent outside since your arrival.. You had agreed since it wouldnât hurt to get to know your way around the palace, even though itâs just the garden. And in the back of your mind, you also thought that itâd be quite selfish of you to only do what is best for you after having made him wait for quite a long time.Â
You walked quite some distance behind him and kept quiet and to yourself, admiring the beautifully trimmed bushes and roses that stemmed out of it. You halt in your steps when you find a particular flower that doesnât look like the rest. It was almost crystal-like with how clear it was and how it shows different colours just as you would see when light is casted on a polished crystal.Â
You bend forward slightly, clearly enamoured by the uniqueness of it. Your homeland houses a certain flower and they all come in rich, vibrant colours, but clearly it was nothing like this. âYou should be careful of the thorns.â You were drawn back from the sight when a voice speaks close to your ears, its tone low. It wasnât a whisper of a gentle breeze brushing past your ears, but it sounded of rich silk.Â
You didnât need to turn your body around since just a slight crane of your head to the side reveals Malleus leaning way into your comfort bubble. His face was practically just beside yours! His eyes traverse from the flower to meet your wide-eyed gaze. âHm?â He blinks at your curious expression. âThis flowerâ although differentâ is much like a rose with its thorns,â he explains as if that was the reason you were staring at him.Â
He straightens up to his full height and it still amazes you how a giant roams this land. He is practically twice your height, you believed, even when you stood at your full height. His towering build and those eyes of his essentially makes him twice as much terrifying. âHave you ever seen this flower, child of man?â His head slightly cocks to the side with a curved finger on his chin as if heâs thinking. âIâve made sure to replicate your home by having the gardener plant rosesâ your countryâs symbolic flower.âÂ
âAh.. N-no, I have not.. I donât think Iâve ever seen a flower like this before,â you answered in earnest, although you stuttered here and there and spoke with a shy voice. Itâs true. Although your country had other flowers, none could compare to the abundant red roses that would grow out of the cracks of the ground and traces along the buildings without the care of a gardener. In fact, there was a festival every year at the peak of spring that was all about those flowers.Â
"Hm, I see.. So the kingdom really lacks magic.. It amazes me how long humans have survived without magic." He blurts out with no awareness of your pride as a child of that kingdom and capabilities as a human. You felt like you've been stabbed. You can agree with him, but he didn't need to say it so casually to your face. 'Geez. This prince is awfully honest.' He kind of reminds you of a certain someoneâ that guy with silver hair from earlier. His eyes moves to the flower again. "If a high concentration of magic stays in one place, flowers like these are not a rare occurrence.Â
"If you like it, then I'll have someone make it into a floral arrangement and send it to the room for you." He looks at you and you swear you could clearly see an imaginary dog's tail wagging behind him and pleading with his eyes to say 'yes'. "I-If you don't see it as a hassle.." Your tongue let loose before you could catch it, finding yourself surprised.
He hooks his fingers on his collar as if he's going to fix the already neat garment. "I'll have them be sent to you then." He nods, feeling proud of himself. Again, you feel like you might be going mad when you hallucinate little petals spinning behind him.
'Ah! I nearly forgot..!'
"Um, Your Highness.." You start off slow and carefully, unsure if it really is the right time to burst his happy bubble. But this is your opportunity, you think, since you're not sure when or if you'll see him again after this. "I received a letter a few days ago."
He blinks, standing quiet for a hot second before gesturing for you to continue with his eyes. "It's an invitation from Marquis Hagen's wife; she wants to meet me at a banquet she'll be hosting on her birthday," you said.Â
He stills. "An invitation?" He repeats carefully. When you nod, his brows furrowed in deep thought and brought a finger to his chin. When he doesn't say anything for a while, you think that it's a 'no' answer from him. A shame, really, since you haven'tâ "Alright, you can go."
You clasp your hands together excitedly. It's been so long since you've had interactions with somebody outside the castle. "Really? Thank you, Your Highness," you said and adds, just remembering what else the letter wrote, "Ah, she.. She also asked for you to comeâ if you're not too busy, that is." You drop your hands and watch him with careful eyes.Â
"Hm?" A look of a surprise dawns on his face, but only for a second. "Then, I'll go."
