Finding Out About the Prefect Club | Yandere Twisted Wonderland
Tumblr media
Throughout you time in Twisted Wonderland, you are identified to be the first for a lot of things. The first non-magical person brought by the mirror, the first to witness and help end overblots on campus, the first to initiate the idea of teamwork (according to Crowley). It wouldn’t be a surprise that you are also one of the first students in NRC to continue being nice even when your fellow students are unruly and conniving. Such kindness in the midst of such a terribly misbehaved student body is sure to stand out and attract some attention. And while you surely have the dormleaders and their friends eating out of your hands, too bad the whole school practically is too:
Tumblr media
Riddle Rosehearts
Finds out about it after attempting to return something to you
In a shared class you seemed to have left behind decorated pencil of yours in favor of chasing Grim
While debating if he should return it to you immediately or take a detour to his room
Another student has swiped it before him
He’s about to berate them
Scold them for their behavior but he stops
They are….sniffing it…intensely
He’s kind of jealous
Then he watches them sigh and put a glove on their hand before carefully putting it in a bag
He carefully follows after the student who slinks around until he’s in a hidden catacomb of the school
It’s filled with students in masks in their ceremonial garbs
“I’ve recovered a remnant!”
The cheers hurt his ears
But he stays for the whole ceremony as they carry on normally
“And this picture is when they tripped on the trash those heathens left.”
“Disgraceful! We should hex them!”
“But they look so cute on the floor like that~”
“I know right~?”
Riddle decides that he should attend the next meeting as well
So he swipes the pin and covertly keeps it in his chest pocket
“Some one  has to monitor them…it’s only right it’d be a dorm leader such as I.”
He’ll never admit he’s happy someone is bold enough to invade your privacy for him
If you ever find out he'll just expose them to you
Tumblr media
Leona Kingscholar
Hears about it while pretending to nap somewhere
It angers him that the members of the dorm are slacking
But he doesn’t interrupt because of his curiosity
“--omeone recovered one of the prefects jackets!”
“Seriously?! Are they letting just anyone touch it?”
“No way! Apparently their putting it on display in the—”
He finds a way to sneak in on one of the ceremony
Stifling his laughter when the students all dance to a recording of your off-tune singing
“Do they really think they stand a chance at getting my herbivore?”
He’s so amused
So amused that when they excitedly recount how you brushed up against some of them
He knows he can do so much better
“Oi (Y/n).”
“Yes?”
“C’mere.”
“Uh Leona? Why are you hugging me?”
“You said you’d help your friends in need right? I need a pillow, so quit struggling.”
Tumblr media
Idia Shroud
Practically takes over the club
Probably a distributor that eventually is exalted as the (Y/n) expert
Sharing just a wink of the info, pictures, and souvenirs he gets from you
“Hahhaha you have so much to learn about the prefect before you even come close to my level.”
“Please! Sensei, teach us!”
“Only you hold the greatest gems from the beloved prefect!”
“That’s right!”
It’s like those discord chats that are just about everyone gushing about an anime or game
He may even attend physically with a mask of course as he gushes about the latest quirk he discovered of yours
Of course he’s not going to share everything
But it’s nice to share your interest
And know that you’re not alone
“We can’t forever silence the over-touchy interlopers (Y/n) will only favor them more. Do not forget their compassionate actions towards each of us. In turn there are plenty of ways to punish them!”
“Yeah!”
He also has the prime sources to hear about anyone trying to make a move on you that he can’t directly monitor
“Looks like Ortho is paying this student a…little visit.”

Yandere Malleus Draconia & Yandere Leona Kingscholar love reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ooh, this is going to be a bigger mess than letting Lilia into the kitchen.
Two men, one of whom doesn't know how to share (Malleus) and the other doesn't want to share (Leona).
Of the two, Malleus was the one who would fall in love with you first. It would start as friendship at first. However, soon his feelings deepen. Malleus wouldn't want to be without you anymore.
Leona would develop her feelings later. Maybe after the Overblot incident. When he has learned that he can be honest with you and you listen to him.
However, neither of them would be stupid.
Malleus and Leona quickly realized that they both had feelings for you.
Oh they wouldn't even try to play nicey.
Malleus pulls you away into the night. You go for a walk together while he chats with you and tries to deepen your connection. Malleus would also give you jewelry that matched his colors.
Leona, on the other hand, often drags you to sleep with her. He's trying to get his scent on you. Sometimes he would also chat with you and maybe leave some signs to your skin.
Oh, it would be a wonder that the NRC would be standing after these two fights.
Right now it would be cold war and insults.
Malleus is preparing to abduct you and lock you up in the tower.
Leona is preparing to move in together and take you away.
Now the question is about which one is faster...

.。*♡ A/N: Leona's birthday is coming soon so I wrote something for this grumpy little man, hehe. I was debating about rather or not posting this on the 27th but I want to post this now. I don't write enough for him but I do think is a very interesting character :D
.。*♡ Warnings: Soft yandere content, death mention, gn!reader
Tumblr media
"Look at them, darling." Leona's voice sliced through the air like a blade, sharp and chilling, as he pointed to the prisoners with a venomous tone that dripped with malice. Each word carried the weight of his disdain, echoing through the grand stadium halls with a ferocity that demanded attention.
His murmurs held the intensity of a primal growl, a silent but potent threat hanging in the air, urging for retribution to be exacted. "For every injury that is marked on your body, every cut and bruise, let their punishment bring you comfort, my beloved."
You settled beside him, suppressing a grimace that threatened to surface as you adjusted in your throne. It felt as though tiny needles pricked at every inch of your skin, sending great waves of discomfort coursing through your limbs like a hellish torment. Clenching Leona's hand tightly, you drew in a steadying breath, your gaze scanning the faces of those who had wronged you.
These were the individuals who had never fully accepted you because you were someone with no royal backstory or noble blood. A commoner, an outsider who didn't the deserve the title of Prince /princess consort. They spread rumors about your nature, twisted it, said you only wanted Leona for his money and to warm his bed. Though the rumors were hurtful, you had initially chosen to ignore them, understanding that their minds were steeped in outdated prejudices.
You thought that with time they would see you for who you really are. You were wrong.
Their malice didn't stop at mere gossip; they took your silence as incentive to take things to another whole level. That was... An attempt against your life.
"Leo..." You call out to him, searching for him as if he was all the air you needed to live for another day. The mere space between you two seeming like a wall to you, so cold and cruel. And he realizes it instantly.
He realizes it as he realized that you liked to pepper his face with little kisses when you thought he was asleep or how he realized that you liked to curl all over his chest, like a little kitten. He acts on his instinct quickly, softly. He doesn't even think.
Leona's arms encircled you in a tender embrace not caring that everyone was watching each and every move he made. He couldn't care less, he just wanted to comfort you, to show you he was here for you and always will be. Shivers ran down your spine but in the warmth of his arms, you felt a surge of mixed emotions — most of all was relief. You were safe here, those wounds felt somehow lighter, as if his presence alone had the power to heal even the deepest of hurts.
As if on his arms, there was nothing that could hurt you. No danger, no pain, no nothing.
"I'm here, beloved." He whispered right in your ears, nuzzling his face agains the top of your head. "And I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to protect you from everything and everyone so don't ever feel afraid again."
You knew he was telling the truth. You felt yourself calming down, watching over his shoulder as the executioner sharpened his axe calmly. This whole thing was an spectacle for the others to see and learn, not to touch you, not to talk or be near you.
You let your head fall to Leona's chest, holding onto him for dear life. And as you gazed into his eyes, you knew that in his embrace, you had everything you needed. You had love, protection, you could stay like this forever. His heart was beating lazily on his chest, slow rhythm making you close your eyes and surrender yourself to him. He would protect you after all. You had no doubt about it.
A trumpet sounded loud, annoyingly loud as a man informed everyone of the execution that was about to take place. Your attackers, three men and a woman, started walking. You peeked in their direction. Their complexions were worn and weak, ears lowered to their heads as they walked in a line, staring at their feet. It was a sad sight that you wouldn't have had to see if they didn't had stuck their noses where they didn't belong. This could no longer be avoided.
"I know it's shocking for you," Leona murmured to you, fixing your hair as it fell across your face with quick fingers. He slightly turned his head to send a look full of disdain towards the prisoners. “But that’s how we do things around here. I need to show them, show them that nobody can't mess with someone I love. Close your eyes if it becomes unbearable to watch."
The sun was high in the sky, casting long shadows across the stadium. Murmurs of expectation and horror ran through the rows of spectators, who anxiously awaited the morbid spectacle.
On the gallows, the four prisoners knelt, hands tied behind their backs, heads bowed in resignation or perhaps in silent prayer. The executioner, a burly man with a leather mask that hid his face, wielded a large, sharp axe, the blade reflecting the sunlight. Beside him, an assistant read aloud the crimes of the condemned, each word echoing in the silent now stadium.
"The first prisoner, accused of attempted bribery and obstruction of justice," The assistant announced, as the prisoner raised his head, staring at the crowd. His eyes, full of defiance, met those of a specific spectator, who was holding a handkerchief, tears falling freely.
You felt nauseous, bile rising on your throat. He had someone waiting for him, who would mourn his death. Why would he do something so drastic like this?
The executioner stepped forward, positioning himself next to the prisoner. With a firm movement, he raised the axe, waiting for the assistant's signal.
"Let justice be done," Said the assistant as Leona nodded, and the axe descended in a deadly arc.
The crowd held its breath, only to let out a collective gasp as the blade did its duty. The lifeless body was quickly kicked from the gallows by the executioner. He was so nonchalantly too, almost as if he didn't cared that he just killed a person. You squeezed Leona's hand, closing your eyes as the assistant read over the crimes committed by the second prisoner.
The latter, visibly shaking to anyone paying close attention, screamed prayers under his ragged breaths. He was terrified. Terrified of death just like you had been.
Asking for forgiveness, pleasing, crying.
Your eyes remained closed as you heard the axe descending, the sound it made every time it made contact with skin was indescribable. It made you sick. It was rough, dry. Blood soaking the ground, never dripping, forming a red puddle. You didn't open your eyes till you the assistant started reading the fourth prisoner crimes.
The fourth prisoner, a frail-looking woman, scanned the crowd with her hard, uncaring eyes. If she was looking for a familiar face, you didn't know. You'd rather not know, as she was the mastermind behind the attack even if she pretends not to be.
"Accused of contaminating evidence, attempted intentional homicide, and contempt of authority," The assistant said, his voice reverberating with a mixture of disdain.
She raised her face to the sky, accepting her fate with surprising calm. The executioner, although ruthless, hesitated for a brief moment before raising the axe one last time.
"May the gods have mercy on your soul," He murmured, inaudible to everyone except himself.
The axe came down and the final sound was drowned out by the clamor of the crowd, divided between applause and screams of horror. The justice had been served, leaving a trail of blood and death on the gallows, as the sun continued its relentless ascent across the sky, not paying attention to the human suffering below.
It was over. It was over, you were never going to see those people again. A shaky sigh left you as you turned to Leona.
"Let's go home?"
He looked at you, little smile on his lips as he nodded. Home, where you would be safe inside the palace's walls, home, where you would cuddle him and he would embrace, and protect you and love you forever.
He stand up, as customs dictate, his eyes travel through the stadium and pass briefly by the headless bodies. He turns to you, taking your hand on his, Leona guided you without looking back. To home.

I'm Not Sad, Just Tired - Yandere!Leona x Reader
Content Warning: (soft) yandere, implied kidnapping/captivity, Stockholm Syndrome slowly setting in perhaps? 👀
Word Count: 1.1k
(Kind of a part 2 to this but I think this can be read on its own)
Tumblr media
It’s another banquet you couldn’t care less about.
You had been strongly encouraged (read: guilt tripped) to accompany Leona to the event by his sister-in-law. And who were you to deny the Queen’s request? You sucked it up and let Leona escort you around, maintaining as far of a distance you could get away with while having your hand placed on his arm.
It’s obvious why Leona was so intent on ditching. This party blows.
You can’t recall what the celebration is even for. It was most likely for some diplomatic reason, though you’re pretty sure the king just likes throwing parties at this point. Either way, it has only been an hour and you are already tired of it.
The guests had finished eating and were now dancing the night away. You manage to lose Leona in the crowd, taking this chance to be alone and heading out of the venue. You can’t take another minute rubbing elbows with these people.
The palace’s hallway is silent, save for the muffled music coming from the party and the clicking of your shoes against the tiled floor. You stroll down the corridor, not heading anywhere in particular. You just need to clear your head and get some fresh air.
Stumbling upon the palace’s courtyard, you find a bench to rest at. There’s a sense of tranquility here; it’s the perfect place to take a break from faking a smile for all of the Afterglow Savanna. It also gives a nice view of the night sky up above.
You’re enjoying the peace until you hear footsteps approaching you from behind. At first you think it’s Leona, the man who is persistent in keeping you next to him, but the steps sound too light.
Turning around, you see little prince Cheka trying to creep up on you. His big, brown eyes widen in astonishment when you take notice of him and he slightly pouts.
“Awww! I wanted to surprise you! I thought I was being so quiet too…” Cheka whines, hopping up onto the bench to sit beside you.
“Wha- Cheka? What are you doing out here by yourself? You should have been put to bed by now,” you say, swiveling your head left and right to look for any of his attendants.
“I’m not sleepy yet, so I snuck out!” he admitted happily.
You sigh and shake your head, ruffling his hair. “Of course you did. If you don’t go back to your room, Kifaji or your retainers won’t be very happy with you.”
“But I wanna stay with youuu.” Cheka hugs your arm and presses his cheek against your shoulder, nuzzling it. “And with Unca! How come he’s not here with you?”
Grimacing, you shrug and try to brush off the subject. “He’s still at the banquet. Now you should really go back to bed, Cheka-”
The cub ignores your request and plops his head on your lap. Curling up so he can still see your face, he asks, “Do you like Unca Leona?”
Where did that come from? You tense and avoid his curious stare, opting to gaze up at the stars. “Why do you ask?”
“You always look sad near him.” Cheka yawns and turns the other way. “Are you sad?”
Darn this perceptive kid. You don’t want to tell him the truth. You can’t tell him the truth. He wouldn’t understand. How would you even explain to him that his uncle and everyone else in this palace are basically holding you here against your will? That his uncle, his idol, is a selfish, irritating, possessive, clingy, and manipulative prick?
Okay, well, he wasn’t that bad. He makes sure you’re as comfortable as you can be here. And he’s been fairly patient with you even after all the crap you have spewed at him. But still. Not the point.
“I’m not sad, sweetheart,” you lie. “It’s just…complicated.”
“Unca really loves you. And me, Mama, and Papa love you too! So don’t be sad, okay?”
Easier said than done.
You remain silent, petting his hair to try and lull him to sleep. It works like a charm, with Cheka’s soft snores being heard not too long after.
“So this is where you ran off to. You know, it kind of hurts when you decide to up and ditch me like that.”
You don’t have to look up to know who it is. Your small reprieve from Leona is cut short as he stalks into your field of vision. His neutral expression turns into one of slight annoyance at seeing Cheka curled up on your lap.
“Great. I see the little furball has escaped his room once again. Kid never fails to give me a headache.” His voice is just above a whisper so as not to arouse the sleeping child. He knows that if Cheka did wake up now, he’d never fall back asleep.
“We should take him to his room before anyone freaks out about him missing,” you sigh. You move to pick up the young prince, but Leona stops you.
“I’ll carry him,” he resigns, taking him from your lap.
Trailing after Leona down the hall, you can’t help but think the scene before you is endearing. As much as he denies it, he truly cares for his nephew’s wellbeing.
You two reach Cheka’s bedroom, and Leona sets him down against the massive amounts of pillows and stuffed animals that are strewn across his bed. After unceremoniously draping the blanket over his small frame, Leona leaves just as quickly as he entered. You stay behind, however, taking the time to properly tuck Cheka in and making sure he’s nice and settled. You hesitate for a minute, before leaning down and pressing a light kiss to the young prince’s head, whispering goodnight to him.
Leona watches from the doorway, a hint of jealousy swirling in his eyes. He feels a pang in his heart as he wishes he was the one you’d treat so gently and affectionately. That you’d kiss him goodnight, maybe even cuddle up next to him in his bed before drifting to sleep together. That you’d actually care about him like he does about you.
Your smile drops after you leave Cheka’s room, turning back to that look of disinterest you wear these days. You don’t meet his eyes when you point in the direction of where the banquet was being held.
“Well, I guess break time’s over. Should we head back over now?” you ask.
Leona stuffs his hands in his pockets and walks past you. “Nah. It’s not like we’re needed there. I’m turning in for the night.”
“Oh, ok… Well, goodnight then.”
That’s rare. You’re actually saying that to him this time.
“Yeah… ‘Night.”
And with that, you both go your separate ways towards your rooms. It would be another cold night without you or your love, but Leona will just have to endure.
He’s used to it by now.

What about a yan Leona with a darling who lives to read, like he sleeps on their lap as he reads
Or he noticed that they’re reading a romance book and gets jealous
I don't have my PC right now so I'm writing this on my phone. Please don't mind the typo.
Warning: Yandere, forced relationship, kidnapping implied.
Eyes on me
Tumblr media
At first Leona didn't mind it to much. At least you were calm and didn't try to get away from him when you were reading. Gosh, how it was annoying everytime you tried to escape during his nap. But now he had another problem. While you didn't try to shake him off anymore. You sure didn't give him much attention either and he missed your hand in his hair now.
He tried his best to be comprehensive. To be patient for you to open your heart to him anymore but enough is enough. Leona opened his eyes only to see the book genre. Romance. You were reading a romance story when you couldn't even put an ounce of effort your relationship with him.
"What do you think you are doing?" He growled as he grabbed the book and threw it somewhere in the room. You could hear him growl lowly as he pulled you near him. You didn't know why he was pissed but you blabbered excuse after excuse. It only annoyed him but also amused him in a way. He reveled in the power he had over you ever since you became his lover. He pulled your face up before kissing you slowly. He purred at how soft and warm they were. "Should I also ban books?" He loved how your eyes trembled as he threaten your last freedom.
"It's not like that... The story is quite inspiring... And..." Leona chuckled before pulling you in his arms. He plopped on the bed, his weight covering yours under him. "I don't care much about the story. But refuse to be second place again... Even more to a mere book. Understood?" He laid upon you, pinning you with his whole body. His forehead against yours, as he laughed in triumph. "You can only look at me."

Hi hiii if its ok can I request a yandere Malleus, Idia, Leona, and Vil
with a darling that keeps on asking for a sign from god or in this case one of the great sevens if they should continue to have feeling for their current crush (w/c is not them rn btw-) or nah?
And them just doing stuff that's basically like a sign from the sevens that they should give up on their crush (lololol that would be kinda funny haha)
Yes ofc, this is such a fun idea!! Tysm for the request! 💕💕
TW: yandere behaviour, manipulation
Tumblr media
This type of thing really isn’t Leona’s area of expertise. He’s much more of a “get rid of it at the source” type of person
So instead of leaving subtle hints and omens that you should move on, he thinks it’ll be much more effective to hear it directly from your crush
Of course, figuring out how to convince your crush to blatantly admit they don’t like you isn’t hard whatsoever for Leona. It’s a quick and simple solution
However, it’s also quite a harsh way of going about it but Leona is sure he can use your heartbreak in an effective manner as well
Tumblr media
Vil has a lot of strengths, and one of those strengths is knowing a lot about body language and how to read it. It’s a skill he picked up from his acting career and he’s very open about it
So it doesn’t seem that strange to you when Vil slips in little remarks about what some body language reveals about how someone is feeling in conversations with you
He’ll talk about a large variety of people so you don’t notice what he’s trying to do when he brings up that your crushes body language insinuates they’re interested in someone they’re talking to
He might also slip in a little something about disconnect in their body language when you’re talking to them every so often. Surely these snippets of information will count as signs to you
Tumblr media
The internet will be Idia’s best friend on this endeavour, and he’ll use all the hacking tricks in the book to make this work
He tries his best to make the transition seem natural, starting out with one or two ad’s labelled “is he the one for you?” which if clicked will lead you to a rigged quiz that will always tell you it’s destined to fail
Then he’ll take it up a notch, messing with your algorithm a little bit to show you videos of confession horror stories, and more and more ‘signs’ that your current crush isn’t the one for you will start showing up every time you look at your phone
And just as the icing on the cake, he’ll try to give himself a little head start by showing you video’s and ad’s talking about how your destined soulmate is a reclusive computer whizz
Tumblr media
He’ll offhandedly mention that you’re looking for signs to Lilia and suddenly the whole of Diasomnia is on the case to make you give up on your crush
In the halls, all anyone seems to be talking about is romance and quite a few people are mentioning how your crush has a type that’s completely opposite to you or is already in a secret relationship
You’ll be sleeping peacefully and like 7 Diasomnia students will be whispering subliminal messages to you in your sleep that your crush hates you or that Malleus is your soulmate
Even Silver came up to you and told you about a prophetic dream he had about you being rejected and humiliated by your crush. Malleus is obviously not going to be doing anything to stop this any time soon

Milk
Yandere Leona Kingscholar & Nursemaid Darling
Masterlist
‎‎
just a random short based off of these HCs I did for Leona because i’ve been in a really bad boredom
tw: boobs, bit of smut, dubcon/noncon, reader has female parts, I only know the bare minimum about twisted wonderland so fair warning
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Milk? The thought flashed briefly across Leona’s mind as he lounged, sprawled comfortably across his plush chaise lounge, emerald green eyes partially closed as they followed you hurrying around his room with piles of his things bundled up in your arms. He hadn't thought about milk or drinking milk for years now, not since he abandoned the drink for something more 'grown-up', or whatever that meant to a younger him. But if he was being more honest with him, Leona would admit that he hadn't thought about milk since you were relieved of your nursemaid duties by his family the moment the second prince was old enough to care for himself. You had been with him for as long as he could remember, the only person who had been by his side and been on his side, the only soul who gave enough of a shit about him to watch over and teach him.
A flash of your underwear from under the short skirt of your custom staff uniform caught the corner of his eye, and a lazy smirk quirked his lips - it wasn’t like you would have known that Leona had you all but cornered back into uniform. With the help of his parents to pacify their second son of course: all he had asked for in return for him to attend Falena’s crowning ceremony was you, but that part mattered little. What did matter was that you were back in your old job, and that you were once more by his side. Within his grasp where he could keep watch over you, keep you safe from the outside world, just like you did for him when he was young.
A twitch of his ear as he heard the drag of a drawer opening, though he was too lazy to turn and look - by the sound of it, you were folding and putting away his piles of clothes that had been abandoned and strewn in various locations across his enormous room. No surprise that it was one of your top priorities, given that you preferred your things in order; Leona refused to allow any of the regular servants to trespass and dirty his room, though it did help to serve as an excuse for you to spend more time in his territory. His long brown lion tail swished as long forgotten memories washed over the young prince once more, helped along by a whiff of your familiar scent that caught his sensitive nose when you once more crossed more in front of him, this time humming an old tune under your breath with what looked like jewelry in your arms.
‎‎‎‎
‎‎
"Milk?" Leona remembered the innocent sleepy question from his toddler-self years ago, one small chubby fist clinging onto your skirt with the other rubbing at his eyes. The sky outside had already been dark for some time, long past his bedtime, but your charge still refused to go to sleep. You had been gone from the palace earlier that day for a few hours on personal business, but for little Leona it had felt like forever; after all, he had never been apart from you for so long before, and was inclined to make up for lost time when you returned. Sighing, you leaned down to scoop the prince into your arms, resting him against your hip - he was getting heavier every day, though fortunately not yet to the point you couldn't carry him.
Goodness only knows the fit Leona would throw when that day came.
“If I pour you a glass of milk, will you go to bed?”
"B-But you were gone earlier," he complained, this time yawning. No doubt Leona had been looking forward to showing you the little ball of light he could summon all day, but with this slipping consciousness, it was beyond what he could manage at the moment. "I wanna play more."
You smiled that brilliant, kind smile at him, snuggling him to your chest as you carried him down empty hallways, the sound of your footsteps against marble floors the only sound that echoed almost hauntingly through the night. "We can play more tomorrow okay? It's late already."
"Y-you promise? You're not going to leave me?"
Crossing your heart with your free hand, it was enough for the young lion prince to be content. The kitchen door slid open noiselessly, and you sat Leona atop one of the counters as you looked in the cupboards for his favorite cup, before turning to show it to him. "This cup okay?" You pointed at the cute print of dancing animals.
But instead of the enthusiastic agreement you had expected, the tanned boy only furrowed his eyebrows at your question. "Why do I have to drink from a cup?"
You blinked. "Sorry?"
"Why do I have to drink from a cup?" The child repeated sullenly. Reaching out to grab the hem of your shirt, Leona pulled it towards him with as much strength as a toddler could manage - not stretching the fabric by much but enough to reveal the top of your bra. "Falena says he always drinks from Mummy. I wanna too."
The world seemed to stop, falling silent as you stared back blankly at the boy, the gears in your head clearly turning as you tried to process what Leona had just said. Your heart pounded away in your ears, jaw slackened - not that the second prince to the Sunset Savanna would know, those emerald green eyes peering back up at you, his tiny fist still wrapped around the fabric of your clothes. You knew he had always been cast to the side in favor of his older brother and crown prince Falena, but how do you go about breaking the news to a child that he had to drink from a cup because his own mother didn’t breastfeed him? It took a minute, but you did manage to compose and pull yourself together, lightly prying those chubby fingers from your shirt. “A-ah, Leona, see I’m not a mummy, so I don’t have milk for you okay?” Your face was completely red and burning as you said that, yet you pressed on. “Can you be a good boy and drink your milk from your cup?”
A crestfallen look instantly washed over Leona’s face, enough to bring tears welling to your eyes despite you not being able to do anything for him - how could anyone not be sympathetic? A small child, abandoned. Instead, biting down your emotions and forcing a smile to your face once more, you offered the cup of milk to your small charge, leaning over to kiss him on the top of his head. “Come on, once you’re done drinking, how about I read you a bedtime story?”
‎‎‎

“-ona. Leona!” Said man blinked, looking up to find you standing mere inches away from him, waving one hand right in front of his face. “Anyone home?”
Those emerald eyes instantly focused back on you as he was drawn out from his daydreaming. “I’m here,” he drawled, the start of another smirk once more quirking the corner of his lips as he stretched across the couch he was still sprawled on, looking much like a cat would in the moment.
“I’m done with packing for today, so I’ll be leaving now,” you told the prince, a gentle smile and kind eyes facing him as you withdrew your hand - so small and delicate compared to his now. They had seemed immovable when he was younger. Yet before you could even turn to leave, his own hand shot out to wrap firmly around your wrist, and you paused at the sudden contact, turning to look quizzably at him. So fragile; the Savanaclaw housewarden imagined he could snap it in two with just an ounce more pressure. “Leona? Did you need something else?” A tinge of concern flashed across your expression, and you leaned in closer to press the back of your hand to his forehead. “Are you feeling okay?”
That care again. You were on his side. You had always been on his side. You lived to serve him and only him. Only he could say when you were leaving.
With his daydreams still plaguing his thoughts, in a single definite pull, Leona yanked both your shirt and bra up in a swift sweep of his arm, your naked breasts tumbling out from beneath your clothes. There was a pause, a silence that swept across the room as you stared down at your lifted shirt baffled, as if even neither you nor the world couldn’t believe what had just happened, what he just did.
Then you started to scream. “L-l-leona??” You seemingly were flushing from head to toe, having been exposed in front of the second prince - your prince. “What are you doing?” But your struggles were for naught as Leona instantly caught both your wrists in one hand in a single smooth move, preventing you from concealing your body from him and pulling you close, though the tanned man didn’t seem as interested in stopping you from screaming. Scream all you like, but the rest of the palace knew better than to step even a toe into his domain. “Let go!”
He didn't even like you that way. Despite what his recent actions seemed to indicate, your once-toddler charge could never see you in any other way than his loving nursemaid, his substitute parent, the only soul that cared about him and that brought him up as your own, even if you were a child yourself then. But it was exactly that that drove the lion prince to his current actions, his fingers, calloused from years of Spelldrive competitions, lifting to harshly pinch one nipple. You yelped, instantly halting your attempted escape.
“Still no milk for me huh?” The prince tsked, though the approval in his voice was enough to completely mask his disappointment. As expected, his hard work had not gone to waste - all those time he spent sneaking about the Sunset Savannah, threatening and roughening up anyone who dared to even breathe your way, pulling strings to have his parents intervene, it had all paid off. You were untainted, pure - you were completely his. “Not even if I rub it like that?” He purred, pulling lightly at your sensitive bud, all the while your face burned more and more, your breath catching as you struggled to come to terms with what was going on.
He could see you bite down on your lips in an attempt to suppress whatever it was that was bubbling up in your throat. Instead, the tone of your voice seemed to have gone up an octave as you pleaded with the unmoved man. “L-leona! Let me go, t-this is extremely inappropriate!”
But what was once scolding words fell on deaf ears; and instead his ears simply twitched - he liked it. He liked the slight desperation in your tone, the horrified look of shame that washed over your face, doe eyes shiny with unshed tears, unable to hold his gaze for longer than a few seconds: he liked this side of you. A far cry from the position of authority that you once held over him - the Savannah prince couldn’t think of anything better than getting to know every side of you. Getting to know all of you. Releasing your now-sore nipple from his grip, Leona instead moved to gently massage one breast with his free hand, eyes fixed on you, carefully studying your expression. No matter how you tried to avoid his gaze, tried to wriggle free from his grasp, there was nowhere left for you to hide from him.
The wind rattled open windows as it circulated freely across the vast room, bringing a relief to the scorching afternoon just outside. But he knew that to you, it was but a mocking reminder of the situation you were trapped in as opposed to being one of the simple pleasures you used to enjoy.
There was nothing more that Leona would like more than to finally have the opportunity to taste your milk, like what he had wanted to do all those years ago. In his mind, this was your duty to him: you were his real mother after all. Sighing, he leaned forward, pressing his lips to your other breast, your perked-up rose bud grinded softly between his teeth. Your body froze beneath him. “Shhh, it’s alright,” the tanned man cooed, large, strong hands now trailing down the side of your body. He didn't like you that way, but the young man didn't think he'd mind much if you were his wife. At least he wouldn't have to worry too much about filthy grubby hands soiling someone he held so dear. “I won’t hurt you.” His words were like silk, smooth, strong and deceptively delicate. “Don’t move now.”
Not that he needed to say those last three words out loud - you wouldn’t dare disobey him, given he was royalty and you were not. A particularly hard nibble, and you couldn’t stop the moan that slipped your lips, and the horror immediately followed as your two gentle hands flew up to cover your traitorous mouth, eyes quivering as the tears finally started to fall, rolling and burning down hot cheeks.
Even if you still don’t know it yet, your life was already in his hands. One word, and things fall apart.
Your tight, short skirt was the first to go, slipped down and carelessly tossed aside, leaving you standing in front of him in just your panties and lifted top. Curious fingers carefully touched between your legs, a drastic departure from his normal crass self and his rough handling of you from just minutes earlier, gently caressing the thin cotton that separated him with his goal. “I just need to make you a mummy, huh?” Leona muttered to himself under his breath.
You obviously caught his words loud and clear in this otherwise lifeless bedroom, flinching as your words from all those years ago rolled off his tongue, back to haunt you like a tormented soul. “Le-Leona. You don’t have to do this.”
He hummed, a solitary, almost haunting note. "I must." A clink, followed by the sound of leather rubbing over fabric, the prince’s belt falling to the floor. You couldn’t look away as he unzipped his pants, pulling it and his boxers down just far enough to allow his length, thick and heavy, to spring out from beneath his clothes. Patting his lap with one hand, the other moved once more to take your hand and tug you to sit, a flash of a memory from long ago overtook his senses.
And for just that heartbeat, he saw his tiny hand reaching up, wrapped lovingly, comfortingly in your larger one.
Leona shook his head, and the memory was gone. “Come.” He ordered, forcing your shaking legs apart and pushing aside the crotch of your panties. One way or another, he was getting the milk he was due.

Leona and Nursemaid Reader HCs
Yandere Platonic Leona Kingscholar
Masterlist
A/N: CAUTION I KNOW ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT TWST this is your only warning- something a bit different for a change while im still trying to figure out the next chapter of going home...just some random ideas i had on this. i dont know if i'll ever write for twst again but you're welcomed to try and make me...
Tumblr media
as per royal protocol, when Leona was born, word was put out among the royal household in search of a suitable nursemaid for the second prince
you had been just a relative of one of the royal family’s trusted servants, a niece of theirs that they personally vouched for who could work as a nursemaid within the royal household after Leona was born
you still weren’t sure why they did it, having only previously worked in regular jobs, waiting tables at a tourist hotspot before learning how to be a cafe barista with no childcare experience of any sort, but no doubt you didn’t turn down such a prestigious job offer when the invitation came to interview
your relative was quick to warn you not to get your hopes up - after all, it was a ridiculously difficult role to get with an especially picky selection process, though the pay would be good with accommodation and food all thrown in
and you also couldn’t quite say why you were picked over all the other more eligible candidates in your view, with the queen herself, accompanied by the royal nanny and of course baby Leona who you would be looking after, personally doing the last round of interviews, though the pressure finally lifted from your shoulders when the surprise offer letter came
maybe it was how Leona didn't quite mind your presence, or how natural you seem to handle him despite your own young age being only twelve years older than Leona
you were moved into the palace, your room a stone’s throw away from the nursery and Leona’s room the day you started
but right from the start, it was clear that the role you had thought you were taking - feeding lil Leona, looking after him, bathing and dressing him - was a hellavu bigger by way of the nanny you were assigned to almost outright ignoring the second prince
you were ultimately the one that was constantly by his side as everyone else fawned over Falena, even the royal nanny - leaving you to be the one to not only accompany the young prince everywhere he wished to go, but also to teach him the ways of the royals
which you yourself learnt by listening to the nanny as she taught Falena, and by reading books in your free time from the library
you had assumed that sure, Falena needed more upbringing and training as the next in line to the throne, especially with how carefree the older of the two was, but you hadn't thought that Leona would be this neglected
not to say all the whispers behind his back
so you were determined to do your best - no child deserved this, royal or not
as per usual when it came to nursemaids, you were relieved of your role once Leona was old enough to look after himself, though you would be lying if you said there weren’t times you missed the lil cheeky brat - but alas, your services weren’t needed any longer, and thus you had no right to stay
but Leona didn't have just a vague impression of who you were despite you being from the early half of his life - no, this boy clearly remembers you from the days of you being his personal nursemaid even though he was but a babe
you had made quite the impression on him as a child, not just because you were the closest to him, watching over him when he played, helping him to wash and bathe, and dressing him
no, you were quite simply the sole member of the royal household to have actually paid him any genuine attention, never downplaying or dismissing his feelings, letting him vent and cry and rant without any judgement whenever he caught wind of others comparing him to Falena again
encouraging the young lion to put his best foot forward, whether or not anyone noticed, fought for him whenever you heard any other staff badmouthing him
and no doubt he bathed and revelled in that attention, and only to you he showed that clever and methodical side of him, teaching you how he snuck around those other pesky servants and telltales
to the point Leona became addicted to the highs of hearing you praise him - it was something he worked hard for, away from the eyes and ears of his doubters, something he looked forward to every day when he wakes
to others, he was lazy and unmotivated, prideful and domineering, but Leona turned back into a child when it came to you
you were the first to know when he got the hang of magic, the first to see his newly mastered spell which he showed off with a puff in his chest and hope glittering in his eyes
you had been his world, but everything shattered around him when you broke the news that you were leaving soon
sure you were just a nursemaid, but you had been there from the beginning for him - you had watched him grow up, and guided him with your gentle hand - you had been his friend, bestfriend even
you couldn't just leave him, right?
yet no matter how much he cried and begged and pleaded, the day came, and your room was cold and empty by nightfall
couldn't stop thinking about you even after you left, how you would dry his tears and sneak him a sweet treat in the dead of night, or how you used to rock and cuddle him to sleep
you were his best friend, and you took care of him, and therefore you were not allowed to take care or be friends with anyone else but him
and by simply taking his parents' words lying down and leaving without a fight, you were betraying him - were you in such a hurry to destroy this special friendship the two of you had? who were you returning to? did you have others on the outside?
and this cut deep into his personal pride - he prided himself in being able to wow and awe you, and now without you there to clap at his magic, there was no point
threw a huge temper the week after you were gone, destroying things and letting his magic rage almost to the point of him overblotting
though this only led to his parents denying his request of having you transferred back
regularly snuck out of the palace to check in on you and stalk you, since he couldn't quite figure out how to make contact with you without creeping you out
making the life of everyone around you difficult and painful enough that they start to drift away slowly but surely, one by one
despite everything the two of you went through together, you were still caught off guard when you were all but ordered back to the palace and nicely asked (read: coerced into) to take a position as Leona’s personal staff a few years later
which of course Leona threatened and negotiated to make happen
what him to turn up and pretend to be happy for Falena's birthday party? even wish him a happy birthday for once? he wanted you on his staff
Status meant everything above all else, and nobody understands this better than Leona
so even if its a women-first system in the Savannah, even if you were older than him, you are still beneath him when it came to the rank the two of you had in society, and therefore what he says is law - if he wants you to serve and be by his side, then it would be as so
you had grown into a fine lady, someone he imagined would be well-coveted after, but he would and have never let that happen, not after all his hard work keeping away your suitors
you were also the one that encouraged him to accept the invitation to go to college
couldn't bring you to Night Raven College with him as you had no magical talent, so you were assigned to keep his room clean and tidy, and pick up his calls whenever he rang home
which he did almost every night to not only chat and catch up with you, but to check in on whether you had made any new friends, and deduce more about your own personal life
because you were absolutely 100% not allowed to have anyone else but him - you were his and his friend alone
and he also continued to leverage his position and authority to scare away anyone that might be too friendly with you
didn't matter if you felt lonely and bored while he was away at school, looking after an unchanging room, he needed the assurance that you would be there and waiting for him
and you would have reasons to leave him should there be anyone else waiting for you on the outside
Leona had changed a ton from back when you knew him as a toddler then a young child, growing into a clever and powerful young man, but deep down it was still him - insecure, hating vegetables, liking chess and sleep, and still eager to impress you
his arrogance and pride is completely out of check, with Leona barely acknowledging anyone that didn't serve his interest or benefit him
and you had to admit it was stifling at times, having to take orders from a younger Leona who simply did whatever he wanted, though at least the pay was good and he did listen to you from time to time
but props to you that you do still try to nudge him in the right direction
and when he was back home from the holidays, he would look forward to falling asleep on your lap like he did as a child, with you humming a tune and running your hand through your hair
Leona would spoil you like he would his mother, buying you anything you wanted, taking you out to eat, and of course would whine to you when things weren't going his way
in someway you were still his nursemaid to a lesser extent, and someone he saw as his real mother and bestfriend - with how much he depended on your affection and attention, there was no way you would ever escape him
especially keeps you away from Cheka
you would be the only one allowed to talk about incidents from his younger days, though Leona had threatened Ruggie countless times from ever repeating those forbidden words
definitely leveraged his overblot incident to squeeze extra sympathy out from you

The “Little Things” they do(Savanaclaw)
Tumblr media
--------------------Jack------------------------ I assumed he ran out of energy again. The gym was a mess. Weights everywhere, water on the floor, even bars. Almost like a hurricane passed though. Not wanting a mess I began cleaning. Putting weights in the correct spot and order, bars on handles and water cleaned up. While finishing up i felt a cold heavy weight on my back. Although I was a bit startled, I had a feeling it was jack behind me. I sighed slightly and began walking him out of the gym and to his old room. Surely ghosts need rest. I plopped him down on the bed even though he's barely visible. He looked like some miserable dog with his ears down, almost defeated expression. I felt bad. "I’m gonna leave so you can chill” I said as I stood up and began to leave the room “I'm sorry” jack mumbled. I turned around to see he'd faded out. Wonder what he’s sorry about. ---------------------Ruggie----------------------------------- “Ok this is getting ridiculous” i mumbled. “Ruggie” I called out the ghost “yesss” he answer as he peeked through the door “have you been rearranging or stealing my clothes” i asked “hmmmm… maybe” he replied “seriously?” i asked “nope” he smiled and i sighed “can you just give them back” i asked “what would you give me” he smirked mischievously “i have nothing of interest unless you want me to make you food” i offered “hmm.. Donuts and your attention for a day.” he said “ok fine just give me my clothes back” i huffed he smiled widely and disappeared.
The day has gone by and as promised, Ruggie would give my things back by tonight. Once I returned to my room, a large pile of clothes and other miscellaneous things layed on my bed. The more I sifted through, the more disturbing the items got. Cloths to my underwear to missing soap bottles to my chapstick/lipsticks. What was he doing with all this --------------------Leona--------------------------- “Chess? Sure I doubt I remember how to play” i stated “don’t worry about it just sit down” leona said. I shrugged and sat on the table across from leona. There on the table was a classical chess set. “You go first,” Leona said. We committed plays back and forth. We barely spoke so the birds in the gardens occupied the focus atmosphere. “It’s kinda random you invited me here” i said as i placed down a pawn “ghost around here invite you all the time. How is this any different” he replied playing down his rook “well.. You barely acknowledge my presence nor care to move out the way when I’m cleaning the wing so i assume you want nothing to do with me” i replied “well you suddenly appeared in my manor how else was i supposed to react to you” he scoff “should i just leave then” i teased as i placed down my piece. Suddenly he grabbed my wrist and twisted it forcing me out of my chair “leona what the-” i was interrupted by coughing. My body felt weak and dry causing me to cough violently “leave then i have no choice but to kill you” he spoke calmly as he moved his pieces “checkmate” he started dropping my wrist . my body regained normal functions and that dryness faded away although that didn’t stop the coughing. I looked down at my hands and the floor to check for signs of blood, fortunately there was none… when i turned back to the table to scold even yell at this guy he’s already left the scene. What even was that?

EVERY Tuesday, exactly at noon, does the stone clock tower chime. Without delay, you hear the sound of trumpets, the marching of hooves, as the golden gates of the palace open. Wide and big, as the card soldiers, in perfect position, march upon horses of black and white, wearing that of red with swords attached to their hips and spears within their hands. Preparing for the Queen’s weekly hunt. The crowd cheers, waves banners, as they yell sayings of good luck.
The cobblestone path is tight, crowded with people, big and small, infants to the elderly, all in hopes of seeing the benevolent Queen off. Even if this same celebration will happen next week as well. In seeing him in all his grandeur. Something you’d “sadly” miss, with your woven basket tight in hand, warm and heavy from the fresh baked delights, all from the Clover bakery. You shimmy through the tight crowd, moving in the opposite direction and were, quite frankly, in the way, even as you walk along the side house and store walls. You mummer ‘excuse me’ and apologize as you go, giving sheepish grins to those who spared you a glance.
You would rather be at home, yet you promised your mother you would go. You promised to go to the bakery, to buy your grandmother’s favorite treats and sweets and deliver them to her. She lives just outside the town and in the center of the thick woods, just on the other side in a small cottage in the middle of the northern woods. A journey you’ve made countless times, and on less crowded days. Yet today, your mother was extra worried, extra concerned for your grandmother’s well being. Even if you promised, you’d go first thing in the morning tomorrow. Yet she forced you anyway. Well, guilt-tripped you into going.
‘What if she’s already dead? Hm? What would you do then?’
Return home? Tell the authorities? Cry? Yet the look on her face told you she didn’t want any back talk, so you gave in and left.
You forced yourself further down the path, spotting the familiar opening that you’ve always taken. The town you live in is surrounded by a large stone wall. Tall and thick, with only one way out of the village, and one way in. Yet this impenetrable wall has a hole, fairly big, that anyone could fit their largest ox. So you had no trouble merely crawling or walking through. The alley that led to your secret path was uncrowded, as if waiting for you and you alone.
You shimmy forward, pushing past local residents. Some allowed room for you, having noticed you, others merely rolled their eyes. You pop your head past the road barricade, searching the long stone road. The card soldiers were far. Far away to where you could make it without interrupting them, or them even noticing you. You step over the thick string, glancing one more time, before you make haste. Darting onto the clear, wide road. Ignoring shouts and gasps as you make your way to the alley. Stopping to catch your breath, you turn around. Some of the crowd are merely laughing you off, others completely ignoring, some glared at you disappointedly, yet none made a move to call the guards on you. Your eyes scan the road. You hadn’t dropped anything, and if you did, you’re sure no one would even notice.
Slightly proud of yourself, you continue on, moving past the eccentric alley system, moving quickly past houses and shops, jogging towards the large wall.
You’d be fine.
══════ ♡ ══════
“HALT.”
The crowd becomes silent, and everything pauses. A send off has never once stopped. The Red Queen, golden crown glinting in the sun, his hand raised high. His horse stands still, the same confident and demanding energy as his owner, bows his head, as the Queen flows off the saddle. Heels clicking against the stone road. He walks forward, taking exactly five precise steps, before crouching, leather gloved fingers swiping along the stone. How he saw just a small thing, no one will ever know. The squished remains of strawberry cream cheese tart, a small delight. He rubs the cream between his fingers before rising just as quickly, holding out his hand for a napkin. It appears within a second. He turns on his heel, glaring eyes scouring the crowd, before landing on an older man.
“You! Who ran across here!?”
“Uh! I have no clue, your—your majesty.” He gives an embarrassed, clumsy bow, keeping his eyes glued to the ground. “Then you tell me?” The Queen looks at another, a young woman, who automatically stiffens her posture, face paling.
“A-a person! They were young . With—with a wooden basket and red cape.” The crowd nods along eagerly.
“In which direction?”
Multiple hands point towards the alley, all in fear to face the Queen’s wrath. With a single snap, five card soldiers appear by his side. “Search for the one with a red hood. Such disrespect shall not be tolerated.” There’s a chorus of ‘yes! your majesty.’ Yet not a soul moving til the Queen re-asummed his position upon his horse. “We will resume! While in search of this Red Hood!” His voice is thunderous, and as if nothing happened, everything returns to normal.
══════ ♡ ══════
The leaves crunch beneath your feet. As you continue your long trek, the path is winding and bumpy, covered in wild leaves and branches, the cobblestone hidden beneath the foliage. The basket sways within your hand as you walk and wander along the familiar path. The cool breeze flutters your crimson cloak, and you pull the hood to cover your head and protect your ears. Wishing to have worn pants instead of trying to be cute with your red shorts and white knee-length socks.
The Queendom is never cold, unless the Queen desires cold weather.
It always remains at the perfect temperature, always a warm summer breeze and a perfect summer day. And as you venture deeper into the woods and further away from the Queendom, the cobblestone path slowly crumbles and slowly turns to dirt. You stop at the threshold, glancing behind you. Something about today seems different.
You hope it’ll be a good day.
You venture into the woods.
══════ ♡ ══════
“Ruggie. I’m heading out. Ill be back.”
He lets out a low yawn, stretching his muscles as he walked towards the cave entrance, not giving Ruggie, his right hand, a chance to respond, leaving the hyena beastman to do whatever it is he’s doing. He pushes past the thick vines of the cave, leaving the warmth of the cave and giving a shallow nod to a young wolf beastman who currently was guarding the large camp, with the others like him. “Ill be back before dawn.”
“It’s noon? And the Queen and his guard is hunting today. Far from us, but still. Are you sur—” The lazy king gives a short wave, swatting away the beastman’s concerns, stifling another yawn, leisurely wiping tired tears from his eyes, while the wolf opened his mouth to speak.
“Jack!” The duo looks towards the urgent voices. Two young beastmen, a young tiger and an older bear, both you jogged frantically, seemingly having to run across the majority of the temporary camp. They slow to a stop, giving a quick bow to their pride leader before turning to Jack.
“The Queen’s Knights. Theres five of them! Theyre asking for you presence!”
“Of course. I’m on my way. Leona.” Jack turns to their sleepy leader, only to find the place where he stood empty. He’s brows furrow, before quickly giving up and motioning for the two to lead the way.
The Queendom of Roses and the Pride of Kingscholar. While the Queen occupies the Northern woods, the Kingscholar current occupies the East portion. Over months of arguments and fights, the Kingscholar Pride has been slowly forced to the outskirts and south, while the Queendom slowly takes over the North and East.
Jack and the two beastmen run side by side, running towards the end of the camp, coming across the five poised card guards. They all sit on white pristine horses, not moving an ounce as Jack slows and straightens out his white button-up shirt. “Where is Leona Kingscholar? We shall only speak to one of authority.” The voice is muffled by his thick metal helmet, clasping to his reins and swords.
“He’s away. What you need can be spoken back to him.” Jack crosses his arm, keeping a scowl upon his lips as the knight scoffs.
“I shouldn’t expect more from your kind,” Jack clicks his tongue but doesn’t speak, letting the knight continue, “There’s a person in red. They have ruined the Queen’s sendoff and thus must receive punishment. If you find them, you know best to hand them over immediately.”
“I have no such obligations.”
“Right—” You can hear the confidence in his voice, as he shifts the reins, getting ready to move, “It’s only best to consume your meat fresh. I hope you don’t get red fabric between your fangs, wolf.”Jack gives a low growl as the horse becomes spooked, rushing over, earning a yelp from the knight and gasps from the other silent four. They watch the group ride off into the forest, before letting out a huff.
“Jack. What should we do?”
The tiger beastman speaks first, which earns a thoughtful sigh from the wolf beastman. “Nothing. I’m sure Leona will find the person before we do. Continue as you were.” Jack turns on his heels, rolling his shoulders as both boys shout and eager ‘yes’. This camp is only temporary until they reach the eastern mountain’s summit, and beyond that will be the savannas once you cross the mountains. Something Leona has been avoiding for the longest time.
══════ ♡ ══════
The farther you walk, the darker the woods get. Yet the twisting and winding path doesn’t lead you astray, a path in which you’re acquainted with. And as the trees grow closer and the leaves block the sun, it feels colder, as luminescent mushrooms and flowers that grow alongside the path glow in hints of blue and yellows, give you little light, while pollen that glows a soft purple flutters through the air. It’s absolutely enchanting, with towering thick trees and small sections which sunlight peeks through, highlighting the vibrant green plants and bushes. You hum softly, playing different games as you walk, occasionally eating one of your grandmother’s snacks.
“Youre quite far.”
You screech, nearly jumping out of your skin at the new presence of a voice. You look around and see no one. Your heart pounds against your ribcage. After a few moments, you left out a huff, slowly calming yourself.
“Especially during the Tyrant’s Hunt,” There’s a low chuckle that sends shudders down your spine and you look around frantically, “He might very well mistake you for a deer.” A rock zooms past your head, barely missing you and striking the tree behind you. Your body stiffens.
“Can you not speak?” It’s taunting and drawn out and you shiver as if ghost hands caress your body.
“What do you want—?”
“Now that is the question,” the voice lets out a low hum, and you hear the shuffling of plants, “I am quite hungry.”
You get a horrible feeling, and nearly trip, as something, or a someone, bolts through the thicket. A lion beastman. Before you can react, nails digging into your shoulders, and the new weight forces you to fall back, and momentum pushes you and him to roll over yourselves. Until you’re once again on your back, with the air from your lungs. Your eyes fly open, staring into amused deep emerald green eyes. You wince at the feelings of nails digging into your shoulders, close to breaking your skin and making you bleed, but he doesn’t. Only giving you the sensation of nails breaking skin. Your heels dig into the earth as you desperately try to regain your breath.
“Oh… Dont look like that. You act like I’m going to eat you. Well,” His hands move from your shoulders, letting you crawl backwards and away as he rested on the balls of his feet, forearms resting on his thighs as he tilts his head to the side. Eyes trailing you up and down, staring at the expansion of your bare thighs and legs, a low whistle slipping past his lips. “I might. In a more human way.” A shiver rolls down your spine as you use your cape to cover your legs. He visibly looks displeased as he looks at your face.
“Little Red Riding Hood on the run from the Queen.” He hums and you’re eyes widen as you stagger to your feet.
“What? I didn’t do anything?!”
“Doesn’t seem that way,” his tail flicks lazily, his finger drawing in the dirt in clear boredom, “you somehow made the little tyrant mad.” He stands and you step away, he makes no move toward you. Green eyes gazing around the forest before stopping and landing on the path, in the direction in which you came. You follow his gaze and when you look back, the lion beastman is extremely close, his nose brushing against yours. You jump away and he rests a hand on his hips, while the other holds out your forgotten basket.
“I would get going little red. Unless you want to be headless.”
You take your basket and glanced the path, you could hear the pounding of hooves. You grimace before turning around, sharing one more glance at the beastman before darting down the path, back onto the road to grandmother’s house.
══════ ♡ ══════
There’s six. Six horses, five knights, one tyrant.
Shoving his hands into his pockets, kicking up dirt and letting out a yawn, he was pretty hungry. Maybe you’d and your grandmother might make a good snack after he’s done here. He counts the seconds before the Tyrant comes into view, an ever-permanent scowl upon his youthful face. He’s pristine and upon seeing Leona, he ordered his soldiers to stop and with ease slides off his horse and marches 10 steps before glaring at the Lion Beastman.
“Queen’s rules dictate that youre not allowed within the northern forest on Tuesday afternoons. In all honesty, I should send you and your pride further east for such disrespect of the Queens’s rules.” His words are venomous, speaking precisely that has his knights flinching even if the words weren’t for them.
“It’s Tuesday? I had no idea. Oops.” Using his pinky finger, he cleans out his ear with a bored expression, earning a harder glare as the Queen struggles to remain calm.
“No matter. Do what you want. I have more pressing matters.” He holds out his hand, and immediately, a parchment scroll is placed within his hands. The Queendom of Roses has always been the most efficient and quick. Undoing the rolled parchment and holding up the paper, your face was drawn most beautifully, a perfect reflection almost.
“Theyre pretty.” Leona furrows his brows, watching the Tyrant marvel at the photo, his nose scrunches in disgust.
“What are you on, Riddle?” Gasps and quick inhales come from the knights, yet the Queen doesn’t seem to mind, only few can call him by his name.
“If you must know. They disturbed my send off, and I assumed that they were some ruffian. But now, after seeing a drawing of them. They are quite cute and I am in need of a King,” He tilts her head with a gleeful grin, that seemed misplaced and lovesick, “Though I will have to break them in, make them more obedient. But I’m sure it’ll be worth it.”
“You truly are sick.” Riddle face morphs from love-struck to angry, rolling up the parchment delicately, before clearing his throat.
“I suggest you go. Unless—” A arrow shoots past Riddle’s head and grazes the fullness of Leona’s cheek before striking the tree behind him. Green eyes widen a mere fraction, and the tyrant beholds the tiniest smile. The card soldiers werent mere decoration, yet they arent that smart either. One of them must be a skilled huntsman.
“You know what I am capable of. I hate to have to make you my target instead.”
The leader of his pride rolls his shoulders lazily, with his thumb wiping away the blood on his cheek. “Absolutely. Id hate to make you angry. Know if you’ll excuse me, this lion is quite hungry.” And without another word, the lion stalks into the unknown of the woods.
══════ ♡ ══════
The path to grandmother’s house seems a lot longer than it usually does. Usually you’d be at her tiny cottage within an hour or two, yet it feels like days since you entered the woods and encountered the lion beastman. As if the forest was alive, living, breathing. As if the path beneath you were snakes whose bodies twisted and turned, knocking you off your feet.
You land with a hard thud, shaking your head. The forest is darker than before. How long has it been? You know the path and you know it well yet; you search your surroundings lazily, feeling as if you were submerged in thick oil, and the word seemed muffled. You spot vibrant red mushrooms that seemed to inflate before releasing a thick white gas. Hallucinations. They’re carnivorous mushrooms, but they’re never active during the day, nor on the path. They’re new. As if purposely planted, but that’s ridiculous.
And it couldn’t possibly be night.
No.
You struggle to your feet, gripping the basket and meandering.
Walking.
Walking.
Walking.
Walking.
Walking.
Walking.
Walking.
Until a beacon.
Off to the side of the path, nestled in between two large trees, if you walked further down the path you’ll come across the small cottage village, with her golden porch light, was your grandmother’s house. With her stone walls and wooden roof were covered in moss and mushrooms, while her red painted door was visible. You pick up your pace, stumbling occasionally as you reach her rickety wooden porch, a wide grin upon your lips as you knock on the old door.
“Grandma!” You call through the wood, yet no reply. You grab the gold doorknob, turning it and slowly pushing the door inside, letting yourself in.
It’s the same as you remember, with the fireplace on, with fresh logs. There was no collection of dust, and the couch looked recently sat on. Her throw blanket and decor pillows were out of place. You close the door behind you, slipping off your shoes, and placed the basket on the dining room table. While undoing the strings of your cape and calling out to your grandma. You move deeper into her home, before reaching her bedroom. You knock.
“Oh, darling! I’m feeling quite sick, but come in. Come in.” Her voice sounds the same, and your tense shoulders drop, as a smile spreads across your face as you open the door. Only to find her bed empty and made, with the window wide open. You step further into the room, looking around, before you hear a soft click and you spin around, only to find the lion beastman from before. He isn’t looking at you, but instead squeezing a small bird.
“Mimic birds are quite useful. Able to mimic to the voice of anyone and anything once they hear it.” He releases the bird, and it frantically flies out the window. You step back. “You—My grandma!” You suck in a panicked breath and the man only shrugs. Striding his way towards you, his hand moving faster than you could comprehend to grab your face and squeeze your cheeks.
“What do you think--“ His free arm slides around your waist and forces your close, you try to push him away, “I did. Maybe I ate her. Gobbled her up like a big bad wolf,” He faux pouts before clicking his tongue and rolling his eyes in personal annoyance, “Or lion, that fits better doesn’t it.” He shakes your head aggressively, speaking like a mother would to a child when they’re fussy,
“Maybe ill eat you up. Wouldn’t you just like that--“ He lets you break away with a laugh, watching your glare, and he tilts his head and eyes moving out the window.
You can hear horses.

Stuck in TWST without meds
and also they're yandere or something
@shironakuronatasa here you go pookie <3
Because everyone is different, I'm gonna be focusing on the meds I take and the things I experience! If you're inspired to write one of your own based on your types of meds, go for it! I'd love to see others' takes on this :3
I'm still writing in 2nd person, but you/mc is heavily based off of me!
(And if you still want a personalized one but don't want to write it, my commissions are open/hj)
Tw for one mention of suicidal ideation.
Imagine...
You don't quite have a clusterfuck of things going on in your head, but sometimes it can feel like it. Autism, Anxiety, depression, and ADD. Thankfully, you have access to medication, and they work well for you.
Although you can't keep the downward spiraling from the depression and anxiety away completely, it is far more manageable with your medication. You've found that when off them, you are far more prone to completely fall apart at even the slightest inconvenience. It feels like constant stormy waters, with stormclouds that only make the waves worse. But when on them, the storm disappears. Yes, the waves still get rocky and tip your boat from side to side, but you're emotionally stable enough to handle them.
Then the meds for your ADD. With them you have the razor sharp focus to not only take care of projects and work, but also to simply take care of yourself. When off of those, even simple tasks like taking out the trash can take hours, especially since you so easily forget steps, and will stop the chore in the middle, genuinely thinking it's complete.
But you have your meds, so you manage just fine.
Until you're sucked into Twisted Wonderland.
First of all, even if you had already taken the meds for anxiety/depression, there's not much they could do in the face of being transported and consequently trapped in a different dimension. But they do still help, and instead of bawling, you manage to keep a cool (enough) head and get yourself settled into Ramshackle.
But they don't last you long. They had built up in your system enough to last you a few days, but time and circumstances were not on your side.
Even though Grim is by no means an emotional support pet, and is by all means a little shit, he manages to push his pride aside when he can tell you really need it.
Especially the days where you wonder if death is what will bring you back home...
Grim will act as if he helps you for his own purposes, but he is genuinely there for you.
The others, however...
First of all, quite a few of them don't completely understand... you're extra sad and spacey, but you had some kind of magic to help with it back home, but you don't have them here, and without them you get... sad and spacey?
Riddle probably sees it as some pathetic excuse. It's not until after his overblot that his tune completely changes and he is giving you all the special treatment. Even if you mess up on purpose, even if it's something that really frustrates him, he'll justify it as you not knowing any better. Which is patronizing as hell.
Ace will use it to his advantage. Getting into trouble and having you take the brunt. And you play along with it, because, again, Riddle is treating you like an incompetent child, so you are all for raising Cain with Ace. What Ace really loves about this, though, is that it makes you more willing to hang out with him, and more likely to dislike Riddle.
I imagine Deuce has something going as well, though I don't quite know what, and neither does he. But he finds a kindred spirit in you. Study sessions with him are a MUST, and you share your different study and coping tactics, while he stares at your lovely face.
Trey relishes in caring for you. If you're having any kind of sudden increase in stress or sorrow, he is fucking there. He will scoop you up and take you to the kitchen and treat you with his home baked goodies right then and there. Same with your academics, if you need help with academics, it's to the kitchen for tutoring. And as bad as it is, he finds himself wishing you'd give in and lean on him completely.
Leona will also be there for you in depressive episodes. He sees how you always go to Grim when your upset, notices the little things that Grimm does that helps, and starts subtly using them whenever you're upset. Not even just if it's depression/anxiety related, if you're upset with him specifically he'll start purring in that low register that has your heart slowing. He'll rest his body on your chest as a weighted blanket. He'll let you pet him and comb through his hair. All until all you associate Leona with is safety and comfort–as you should from a mate.
Ruggie is SUCH a little meanie at first! Specifically regarding your ADD. Once he sees how much it genuinely upsets you, though, he'll back off. He does have a manipulative streak, though, and will use your anxiety against you. Any way he can get you to distrust others and seek him out is a good way.
Jack is one who does not fuckin understand at first, but once he does, he's supportive. He asks if there's anyway he can help and you offhandedly tell him about emotional support dogs, and he is locked on. He's embarrassed by it at first, of course, but he can tell how safe it makes you feel, and like Leona he is completely fucking for that. Though he won't just be emotional support, no, he'll be the guard dog chasing away anything that could possibly trigger you.
School is very difficult for you without your ADD meds. You can manage, but it is far more stressful and difficult than it needs to be. So, of course, you have those generously offering to help you–specifically Azul, who's more than willing to help... at a price, of course.
Floyd really likes when you daze off in class... When you're staring blankly, mind thinking about so many things except whatever the professor is droning on about. The way your eyes glaze over, the way you're so focused on whatever the fuck is going on in your head, the way your lips part ever so slightly... All your idle habits are endlessly entrancing to him. And, goes without saying, every single time you're especially depressed, he offers a good squeeze session.
Jade, the manipulative bastard, will purposely set you up for failure so that you feel like you need to go to him for help. Because lord knows Azul will make you pay for it, but not your good friend Jade. Plus, if you ever mention how hiking can help with mood, lord save your soul...
Jamil is such a DICK. He will be degrading you at every second, completely taking over whatever it is you try to do. Even if it has nothing to do with him. God, you remind him of Kalim, but at least you don't have the nerve to be so fucking happy all the time. A sick part of him likes when you're sad. You're less annoying when you're depressed, specifically, without little energy or motivation to do or be anything else. He'd happily take care of you then. He'll do whatever you need done. You'd probably do it wrong anyway.
Kalim feels so fucking seen and understood. He honestly felt like some kind of freak for so much of his life, but you... you're kinda like him! A lot sadder though. Your very existence brightens his life, so he's made it his mission to brighten yours. He also really can't stand it when you're with others. It's so obvious you two are meant for each other! He views your shared ADD symptoms as evidence of soulmateship.
Vil is another case of not fully understanding. You're making excuses. Until he takes it a bit too far, pushes even more than what you can handle, and you fully break down in front of him. You're so completely and utterly vulnerable in that moment. He doesn't know if it's a very dedicated manipulation tactic to get out of his nitpicking, but... he becomes a little more sympathetic with you. Vil recognizes that, for whatever reason, you do in fact seem to struggle more with certain things. And yet, despite that, you still try. You continue push yourself, even if what youre pushing towards is, by other people's standards, the norm/mediocrity/minimum. And in you he starts to see a bit of himself. Especially since, let's face it, with depression, anxiety, and add, it is very likely you relate more to Vil than you do Niege. He helps you, and in turn you help him, though you don't even realize it. Helping you be happier with yourself helps him be happy with himself. And he'll fucking slaughter anyone who takes you away from him.
Rook, like Vil, is easily able to recognize how much you not only struggle, but how much you try. And he finds that incredibly beautiful. Needless to say, he is often watching you. Everything you do is enchanting. He memorizes every. single. stim. and habit. Sometimes when you get frustrated, he just wants to scoop you up in his arms and shower you in kisses, but then you'd realize he broke into your room...
Epel will see how much you get pushed around, and takes it upon himself to defend you. He also sees a bit of himself in you. Sometimes he purposely waits around you, and at the first sign of trouble, he'll attack.
Sometimes you just get too fucking overstimulated and you need a break. And in those times, you've found Idia to be the best person to go to. You both started off pretty distant. You approached him, upset, and asked for a quiet place. You put in headphones and just laid down right there. The two of you just sat in silence, with headphones in, doing your own things, blocking out the world. And, oh, how Idia came to crave those moments. He began to depend on you for comfort, ans hoping that you would similarly come to depend on him. You're different from those other normies, you're the only one who gets him so please just stay with him! He will start to modify his room to be the perfect sensory room, the only place in the school you can go to fully regulate yourself. He starts going out with you, acting as if you're really helping him step out of his shell, when really he just wants to spend more time with you, and will continue to shy away from everyone else and hide behind you. This man desperately needs you to need him as desperately as he needs you.
You are so. Fucking. Cute. Malleus finds your every single quirk so fucking attractive. He doesnt like, however, seeing you so upset. So sad. And the kind of sad where he is helpless to help you. He also really doesn't like it when you're upset at yourself. Don't you realize you're perfect? And who cares if you're not good at any of the school stuff? Malleus doesn't. You don't need any of those skills anyway, with Malleus Draconia here to always take care of you.
if you want the rest of diasomnia or the secret character I subtly didn't include lmk
part two out now!!

What if MC was sent to an alternate dimension somehow and that dimension contained all 7 overblots who woke up there after they were defeated in main story. How would they react to the magicless prefect who managed to defeat them suddenly showing up out of nowhere?
Tumblr media
Overblot Universe | Yandere Twisted Wonderland
Imagine a trip through the mirror portal gone wrong
Ending up in this other place where it looks like an ink covered version of Night Raven
Reminding you of your dear friends’ overblots
You hesitate to call out for help of any kind
Instead your greeted immediately by an army of ink blotted students marching towards you quickly
A single soldier steps to the front bearing a gaudy but familiar collar
“The Queen of Hearts demands you return to his side at once!”
Before you can say anything, another voice rings out
“Our Sultan demands the magicless one.”
This one has a smaller group but they are much more heavily armed
It leads to a brawl which you are uncomfortably at the center of
Escaping from the warring factions, you make your way to the school’s mirror room
Barely able to step on the premises you’re stopped by a small patch of sand sucking you into the ground
The only one you can think that’d use this is–
“Thought I smelled a troublesome herbivore.”
It’s Leona in all his overblotted glory
Snickering with a fanged smile he grabs you by the arm
Easily yanking you out of the sand and holding you against his chest
Still standing above the quicksand you hold on tight
You’re surprised when he almost lovingly rubs his cheeks against your own trailing down your neck with his nose
Then without warning he takes a deep bite into the crook of your neck
Holding you still as you try to shove him away
When he pulls back with blood on his smile, you can only look at him with betrayal
“What? You think I’d be gentle after you chased me away? Not this time sweet heart.”
He tosses you over his shoulder as he walks further away from the building you want to go
Taking you to an inky territory that looks as though Savvannaclaw turned into some rocky mound in the dessert
With too much ease he tosses you into a scratchy pile of sand
He plops down practically on top of you
“Ow! This is really uncomfy how do you sleep on this?!”
“Don’t whine. Now that you’re here it’ll be a lot softer.”
Too fast and so familiar to your Leona he falls asleep
Anytime you move a centimeter the sand whips angrily around keeping you in his vicinity
But it seems the only time it didn’t react was when a drone with a bucket of water dunked on the sand rising to swat at it
The damp sand could only bubble slowly as the drone came closer to you shooting some small metal thing on your reaching hand
“NO!--”
The ugly snarl from the overblotted Leona dissipates as a flash of blue and black transports you someplace else
“There they are brother! You’re player 2! I told you they’d be here for the special day!”
You want to voice your confusion as you blink your blurry sight into something sharp
But something's over your mouth
And your hands and your legs
Looking around you are in what looks like a cave lined with wires and technology baring an uncanny resemblance to a friend of yours
“You were right all along brother! Let’s prepare for the final act!”
It’s an overblotted Idia taking a heavy looking crown from the claws of some nearby machinery
Stopping to admire you, his cold clawed hands run along your face as if checking if your real
Before placing the crown on your head
The minute the device is settled how he likes it tightens on your head
Bringing a numbing pain to the sides of your skull as you desperately try to wiggle free
Nothing you do stops the inky creation that looks like Ortho manipulate your binds to stand you upright
Bringing you to an alter, it’s there you notice the swirling abyss just pass the electronic officiant
“Now say your vows, my fruit.”
“Of course my precious future husband, master of the underworld and overworld. For years–”
It’s your voice but not
With a tinge of automation your voice chimes happily from the restraint over your mouth
At your not–real—vows Idia seems to giggle causing the abyss to widen and the suction intensify
Eventually ‘your vows’ end and Idia claims he’s going to skip his
Letting his robotic officiant carry through like a typical ceremony
Until it gets to that part
“I’d be wrong not to speak my peace when both parties so clearly have withstanding debts with me.”
Part 2

Request: Yandere dorm leaders realize their s/o is unable to have kids.
Kalim is here
Malleus is here
This is for Yandere Leona
Yandere Leona Kingscholar
Tumblr media
This would be referred to as "agreed" after marriage.
Leona agreed things for you and you couldn't refuse.
Leona would find out about this after some time.
In his Yandere mind, trying baby trapping would be a good idea.
However, it wouldn't work for obvious reasons.
At the doctor, Leona heard something that you already knew.
Leona would be annoyed if you hadn't told him.
Keeping secrets with him wouldn't be a good idea.
Otherwise, not having children would not bother Leona.
He has never wanted children.
Being a babysitter for Cheka would be enough work.
However, it would have been a good way to show others who you belonged to.
It would also have made escaping a lot more difficult.
But otherwise it doesn't bother him.

.。*♡ Day ten: Matching costumes with Leona.
Tumblr media
The bustling store was filled with an array of costumes, from classic witches and vampires to more modern superheroes and pop culture icons. You weaved through the aisles, your eyes darting from one vibrant outfit to another, searching for the perfect matching costumes for you and Leona.
Your boyfriend followed closely behind you, humming and whistling, a small, amused smile playing on his lips as he watched your enthusiastic hunt. His hands were casually tucked into the pockets of his jeans and every so often, he'd lean in to examine a costume you'd pick up, raising an eyebrow or chuckling softly at your choices.
"How about this one?" You asked, holding up a pair of matching royal costumes and crowns. The intricate details of the outfits were impressive, but Leona just shook his head, his golden eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Nah, too predictable," He replied, his deep voice sending a pleasant shiver down your spine.
You sighed, moving to the next aisle. "Okay, Mr. Picky, what do you suggest then?"
Leona's smirk widened. "You'll see."
You rolled your eyes but continued browsing, determined to find something that would suit both of you. As you were examining a set of medieval costumes, Leona's voice came from behind you, closer than you expected.
"How about these?"
You turned to see Leona holding up a pair of costumes that immediately made your heart skip a beat. They were a perfect match: a regal lion tamer outfit for you, complete with a stylish hat and a sleek whip, and a majestic lion costume for him - well, he was already a lion so he wouldn't need one of those tiara with lion ears and tail. Plus the costume had an elegant, noble design that highlighted Leona's naturally powerful presence.
Your eyes lit up as you took in the details. "Leona, these are perfect!"
He chuckled, stepping closer and brushing a strand of hair from your face. "I thought you'd like them. Besides," He leaned in, his breath warm against your ear, "it gives me an excuse to show off a bit. And I can't wait to see you in that."
Your cheeks warmed at his words, a smile spreading across your face. "Always the charmer, huh?"
Leona grinned, his eyes locking onto yours. "Only for you." He placed the lion tamer hat on your head, adjusting it gently. "Now, let's try these on. I want to see my tamer in action."
You laughed, feeling a flutter of excitement in your chest. "Alright, but don't be surprised if I get a little too rough handling you."
Leona's smirk turned into a playful grin. "I'd like to see you try."
With that, you both made your way to your respective changing rooms, the anticipation of seeing each other in the costumes adding a thrilling edge to the moment. As you slipped into your outfit, you couldn't help but smile, feeling extremely comfortable on your costume, Leona had a good eye for clothes. Especially for you, since he was always spoiling you.
You just knew that this Halloween was going to be unforgettable with him by your side.

Look at Me Like I’m the Only Star in the Sky - Yandere!Leona x Reader
Content Warning: (soft) yandere, implied kidnapping/captivity
Word Count: 722
A/N: First twst writing on this blog! This man has me by the throat 😩 Enjoy!
Tumblr media
You had never seen so many at once before.
Each twinkling ball of light decorating the night sky had you staring up at them in awe. Seeing the stars and moon shining so brightly captivated you; the tranquility in the air bringing a type of peace you haven’t felt in a while. You would never get such a nice view of the stars back home, only able to count on your hands how many you could see. But here…there had to be at least a million of them. A million stars that are foreign to you. No familiar constellation that you could point out.
It was times like these that remind you how far away you truly are from your own world. Your home.
A home that you will never return to.
A home that’s been ripped away from you, and replaced with a suffocating palace.
The Afterglow Savanna stretches far and wide before you, the sun having set long ago. The country really is a gorgeous place, but you know you won’t ever get to explore it. You’re not allowed to leave the palace and you’re not allowed to leave him.
At least you’re allowed out on the balcony. You’ve contemplated climbing down to make an escape, but the risk of being caught by the guards was too high. They’ve been told to keep a close eye on you, and you did not want to scuffle with those intimidating beastwomen guards.
You sigh at the cluster of stars up above. They twinkle back. You vaguely remember Leona mentioning how it was believed the stars were the dead kings from the past. They’d watch over the royal family and guide them whenever they lost their way.
…The one watching Leona must have gotten lazy.
“There you are.”
A voice you once loathed to hear, but now have grown to somewhat tolerate, pipes up behind you. A few steps and he’s leaning against the balcony a comfortable distance away from you.
Great.
The once peaceful air has turned tense now, and you don’t bother to greet or even acknowledge that he is there. The two of you stand in painful silence, waiting for the other to speak.
“Ya look like you’ve never seen a night sky before,” Leona says, his eyes still glued to the stars.
You’re quiet for a moment, debating whether you actually want to indulge him in conversation this time. You take so long thinking about it, Leona huffs and turns to leave.
“…It’s rare for me to see it like this. Only a couple stars are ever visible where I’m from.” Your voice stops him in his tracks, and he returns to his place against the balcony. He hums in acknowledgment, but stays quiet after that.
Leona has always been interested in hearing about your home, but knows better than to ask. Any talk about your world would only put you in a bad mood. You already hate him; no need to keep reminding you why. It was best to just pretend you weren’t from an entirely different universe at all. Maybe with enough time you’ll forget about your world and consider Twisted Wonderland as your forever home.
Instead, he opts for stealing glances at you while your gaze is turned away from him. You look so soft in the moonlight, no one would have guessed you had been spewing insult after insult at him this morning. Proclaiming how much you hate him.
But Leona loves you. So he’ll let you get away with saying just about anything to him. All that matters is that you’re here with him.
You’re completely enamored by the stars. Are they really that amazing to you? They’re just big balls of flaming gas billions of kilometers away. Nothin’ special.
…Would you ever look at him that way?
Like he was the most important thing you could ever lay your eyes on. Like he was the shining light of your life.
…No, of course not. Why would you? He’s the selfish, second born prince, and he doesn’t deserve that same look of admiration from you.
Leona can’t pretend and he can’t keep hoping anymore. He’s ruined his chances, and now you hate him more than anything.
But at least you’re by his side. You can’t leave him behind.
He’ll settle for that.
For now.
~~~
I like mean yan Leona as much as the next gal, but soft yan Leona?? Where he's desperate for his Darling's love but still patiently waits for them to come around?? That's the good shit 👌
Reblogs and comments are always appreciated!! Hope you liked this little drabble!
