anyways this guy's really fun to draw i think he's beautiful and although i think he's meant to be more reptile in my wicked fucking echochamber. i was trying to keep my grubby hands off him i was like oh hes gonna fucking suck i know this this guys gonna be wicked but mmmh hes got a really interesting thing going on. Whaleish or something aquatic and vicious... like a leopard seal which is where i got the inspiration for his fans! thank you eden :)))

i can't lie i think i'm pretty fixated on TG but straight up its one of those pieces of media im gonna meld in my grubby hands into quite frankly whatever i so desire. General headcanons

Big on bugs. Has a lot of pet bugs and when they pass he pins them and puts them on display

Had one hell of an emo phase in his younger years. Play a G note around him to watch him go through all the stages of grief at once.

He’s a huge slasher movie buff. Come on he’s built a persona around Jason from Friday the 13th of course he is.

Surprisingly though his favourite movie isn’t Friday the 13th . His favourites are the Terrifier films. He’s also partial to a bit of Saw from time to time.

Romantic headcanons

Yamori tends to show his affection two ways, gift giving and acts of service

He would absolutely spoil his s/o rotten

Though I don’t think he’d always get what you want through legal means.

He’s stealing shit for you 100%

And then there’s acts of service

He’d do the normal things like holding open doors for you

But he’d also going to do things that are a little more violent

Having trouble with a coworker at work?

You come in the next day and that coworker no longer works there and has now been reported missing

Don’t ask Yamori what happened

You don’t need to know

If you’re out somewhere publicly with him he is always holding your hand or has an arm wrapped around your shoulders

He likes to let everyone know you’re his

Even more so if you’re human

To your surprise , he’s a great artist. And if you ever manage to get your hands on his sketchbook you’ll find a fair few drawings of yourself

If you’re not much a fighter he’s teaching you to fight no ifs or buts

You can not get out of this one

And he will not go easy on you

He will hold back a tad if you’re a human though because he doesn’t want you dead

But he thinks it’s important that you’re able to hold your own in a battle, he’ll protect you as much as he can but he won’t always be there

And being with him puts a target on your back

After training he’ll help you wrap any wounds you might have and tell you how much you’re improving

Some interesting things about Yamori I hadn't realized before:

1) His hair did indeed turn white from his time being tortured. (I think he's the only natural ghoul that we see this happen to?)

2) Read those last two text boxes above. Even Yamori was seeking "being human".

It reminds me a lot of how Tsukiyama and the other restaurant ghouls imitate humanity. It's not just the Anteiku ghouls who try to be human; it's probably all ghouls, it just comes out in different ways.

3) Just... this omake...

More parallels with Kaneki, and getting a glimpse of his past...

I've always admired how Ishida can show sympathy for some of his worst characters, while never excusing their actions. Not a lot of authors can pull that off so well.

Hot Day HCs for Various Characters

Naki

The first thing he does that morning is tell you that he really wants to go to the beach or the pool. And with how excited he is, how could you say no?

He’s so excited that he can barely sit still the whole way there.

If y’all go to the beach, expect to see him charging into the water. He falls on the way to the shoreline but you totally didn’t see that.

He’s a sand castle fiend. Get him a bucket and some seashells and he can build a sand empire.

He loves all the animals that he gets to see. He’ll stop everytime he sees a crab, starfish, snail, etc.

This one’s pretty specific but I love the idea of sitting on a rock on a far end of the beach and holding his hand as he kicks his legs in the water.

If y’all go to the pool then he’ll be equally excited.

He’ll act confident in his swimming abilities but he’ll probably actually need water wings. Does it embarrass him? Probably. Is he still cute? Absolutely.

Definitely slips on the edge of the pool multiple times.

I can see him being one of those people who would hold onto you and drift behind you while in the deep end.

Yamori

He’s a furnace so best believe he’s hot too.

I can see him being partial to snow cones and sorbet. He doesn’t eat either very often but when it’s considerably hotter than usual, he’ll get some.

Undershirt exposed time! Don’t be surprised if you see him walking around in a wife beater and his dress pants.

He doesn’t mind taking an off day with you if it gets too hot.

If you want to go to the beach or a pool then he’ll get it figured out so that y’all can go.

I don’t feel like it would happen often but he looks like someone who’d be able to be in the sun for a good while but the moment they stay out for just a teeny bit too long, they’re a lobster.

He likes to get you lighter clothes during this time. Things like sundresses, skirts, airy shorts, etc.

He’ll want to lay with you in bed with the fan on.

He pulls off sunglasses really nicely.

The hotter days just end up being his free days one way or another so expect to spend a lot more time with him towards the hotter months.

Homelander

He’s completely unphased.

He knows that you’re hot so he does what he can.

Thankfully, he’s got great AC, any and every cold thing you could want at the ready, or he can take you on a “flight” so that you can cool off even faster.

There’s also the Vought pool if you’d rather go swimming.

He wouldn’t mind sitting on the couch, watching reruns, and eating ice cream with you.

He also takes to cat naps on hot days.

Want to fly somewhere colder? Why not!

He’s all about your comfort so even though he’s on his high horse a lot of the time, he still wants you to be happy and safe.
