seeing people worried about hacked phones and while its true that li-ion batteries can go into thermal runway they don't have that kind of explosive strength. those fires look more like this. wired suggests these pagers had additional explosives added to them, much like the attack on yahya ayyash in 1996. its a supply chain hardware attack + with probably software activation as a trigger.

🔻OCCUPIED INTERIOR (RNN) — Two gunmen carried out a resistance shooting operation in the "Neot HaKikar" settlement, located south of the Dead Sea, after infiltrating from the Jordanian border, resulting in injuries to at least two occupation soldiers. The heroes of the Dead Sea operation, (https://t.me/PalestineResist/63216) who crossed from Jordan, are martyrs Husam Abu Ghazaleh and Amer Qawas. At least two IOF soldiers were wounded in the operation following their infiltration from Jordan, and their subsequent ascension in an armed clash.
