i enjoy the idea of kurama being a sour/petty loser (or ig more so a cheater) lowkey like he'll be hanging out with yusuke and they'll be gaming and messing around and the second it looks like yusuke is about to win, he doesn't even hesitate to grab the nearest throw pillow and smack it against yusuke's face to cause him to get distracted and hopefully lose

he doesn't seem like he'd be all that childish but he is when he's with his friends, like he's ridiculous

a conversation at some point im sure:

yusuke: what the- you cheated!

kurama: so?

yusuke: what do you mean so??? you cheated!!!

kurama: at no point did you say i couldn't cheat

yusuke: WHAT THE HELL MAN

When I hear “no but Hiei actually hates Kuwabara” I’m like ???? Did we watch the same thing?? Mc-scuse me?? Hiei does NOT hate Kuwabara. He dislikes his demeanor but Hiei and Kuwabara have SO MUCH in common and a lot of respect for each other. They both have their code! They both have their complicated rules! Through the dark tournament they both learned that the other is more like themselves than they ever would’ve guessed. The difference is, that they are coming from different places with different THINGS they value. Hiei values his independence and self-sufficiency. Kuwabara values his own pride and word as a man. Hiei learns to respect some humans through watching Kuwabara (and Yusuke) never give up on his own values, and Kuwabara learns to look at things a little more in depth, no matter how he might feel initially. They clash because they both have unbreakable character. Yes, there was disgust/hate I guess at first, but like do you think Hiei would tolerate Kuwabara fawning over Yukina, his SISTER, if he hates Kuwabara so much? Absolutely not.
