Finally started watching 'Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' a couple days ago annnnd it's essentially a "What If MCU Spider-Man was actually good?" which is hilarious.

Or better. Because the movies are definitely good, we just had to be force fed that man for absolutely no reason. Anyway, give us Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn in the main MCU (I'm not calling it the 616 because that doesn't even make sense) please!

One of the first things I noticed about YFNSM is how these three mathematically should not go to the same class.

Peter himself says that Pearl used to babysit him.

"I was, you know, eleven and a half, and she was fourteen."

Realistically, Pearl should be 2-3 grades higher than Peter yet both she and Lonnie were his science partners in class, and neither seemed like the type to be held back. Also, I doubt both Peter and Nico decided to skip some grades.

The best explanation I can think of is that since Midtown had a more advanced STEM curriculum than Bales Highschool, it would make sense that Peter and Nico would attend more advanced classes with older students, at least when it came to science.

I think we should standardise making Nico Minoru friends with MCU Peter Parker in fanfiction.

Think about it. According to YFNSM, which is MCU adjustment, the two would've attended Midtown together if not for the Time Paradox Incident. Therefore, it wouldn't be too hard to assume that they could have become friends at some point in the school year.

Make Nico Minoru to Tom's Spider-Man what Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Danny Phantom are to the Batfamily.
