Btw he is from a book called The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff, its based off of the legend of "changeling" which in celtic mythology are when fea have a sickly child, they steal a human baby and replace it with there fucked up sick fea kid (different stories say different things on what they do with the human babies after, some they eat the kids or kill them some they just raise the kids)

In the book Mackie (MC) is a changeling, as a baby his fea parents left him and stole the REAL mackie as a baby (his family knows) most changelings die very soon after being left, but rarely babies like Mackie grow up. (Theres also a plot line of "the changelinges have to be loved to not die" and it was his older sister who loves him so much even though she knows hes not her bio brother that her love for her adopted brother is enough to keep him alive and holy sit as someone with 4 step siblings i would die for thay feels liek a gut punch in the best way possible) it also shows him struggling to survive in a human world as something that will just never be fully human so matter how hard he tries (soooooo autism coded man) and ofc because its a YA novel about a teen boy he gets be become a rockstar half way through the book <3

YESYEYSYEYS ok so this hasn't been named. yet. but it's an mk1 fic about kuai and tomas and it's set in The Past it's a fic with them as kids and it's tomas' birthday and kuai liang sneaks out late at night to buy him a cupcake. i accidentally got swept away in a scene where he bumps into liu kang and liu is like "where the fuck are you going so late young man" and accompanies him to keep him safe so currently it's like more liu at the bakery and less kuai on tomas' birthday but yk
