That is true I could always watch the cutscenes and stuff or read the wiki like I usually do (ﾟ▽ﾟ*) which is admittedly how I avoid slogging through hours of lore in Genshin too because sometimes the cutscenes are really fucking boring and I don't want to (mostly the side/world ones with random NPCs which just kinda aren't my thing) I no longer care about any NPCs but the melusines they deserve the world and I love them

There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
