9. When did you realize you weren't cishet?

SHEEEEEESH idk i feel like i always kinda knew? i specifically remember meeting a family friend when i was a kid, i think i was 7 or 8, and they were very clearly queer. idk how they ID now bc it's been years, but at the time, they were very clearly a butch lesbian. it was my very obvious "Ring of Keys" moment, a moment of "I know you". i still think of that moment often, especially during pride month.

but the punch-in-the-gut Moment of realization happened when i kissed a girl at a sleepover on a dare when i was 14 and i spent the next few nights taking "am i gay?" quizzes online kaldfjaldkj still didn't fully accept it until years later </3

25. What queer discourse frustrates you the most?

anything that has to do with the rigidity of labels and identities tbh! just fucking let people do what they want (if it's not harmful) (which i realize is something that people also have discourse abt GAH!)

like, there are people actively trying (and in some cases succeeding) to strip rights away from queer and trans people all over the US, like jfc. there is no time for stupid and pointless discourse/inter-fighting. now is not the time when the real enemy is the bigots, the homophobes, the transphobes!
